As Ayla rounded around the corner, her face was met with the map bot's as it held out the map to her. She let out a startled scream, which made Gregory and Moon, jump, startled as well.
"What happened?!" She heard Gregory call out to her.
"It's a map bot. It's been following me ever since." She said. Ayla frowned looking at the bot, who was still waving and pressing the map in front of her face. She shoved it away with her hand.
"You again! How did you even get down here?! No! I don't want your stupid map. Now, go away!" She hissed. Ayla started to walk away when she heard the bot trailing behind her, following her. "Shoo!"
"Free map! Free map!" The map bot repeated continuously as it followed behind her. Ayla quickly began to pick up her pace, while the map bot continued to follow her. She reached the sliding door and lifted it up and quickly slammed down behind her. The map bot stopped in front of the door before it turned around and wheeled away, defeated. Ayla squinted her eyes in the darkness as she looked around to see where she was at. It looked like a simulation basement of some sorts after the animatronics were created.
"Okay, doesn't seem so bad. Little dark." She turned the flashlight on and shined it around as she continued to head deeper into the warehouse. There were posters of Moon scattered all over as she continued further down the hallway. Ayla saw there were some strange doors that were locked but had pictures of animatronics but just their endoskeletons with kids. It showed step by steps of different tasks that each animatronic was designed to do and what not to do. It was almost like a daycare for robots. Ayla's eyes widened a little. Daycare? Like Sun and Moon's daycare. They came from this place!
Suddenly, Ayla noticed the flashlight started to flicker in and out as it started to go out. She groaned and started to shake it trying to get it to come back on.
"Great, leave it to Fazbear entertainment to make such cheap junk!" she smacked the flashlight with her hand. "Come on."
While she continued to try and get the flashlight to come back on, something else was lurking within the darkness. A pair of red glowing eyes was watching her silently, slowly inching closer and closer. Ayla managed to get the flashlight to come back on again and shined it in front of her, only to let out a scream.
Standing in front of her, that was not there before, was an endoskeleton. It was frozen in place, in an lunge position about to attack. Ayla stared back and slowly reached her hand out and waved her hand in front of the endo's face. No reaction. Ayla stared in confusion and disbelief. She didn't have time for this. She needed to keep moving. Ayla kept her eyes on the endo as she slowly crept around it, not getting too close. The endo didn't react at all as it still stood frozen in place.
As Ayla managed to put in a few feet away from the endo, she noticed a vent ahead. She turned around and headed towards it, only to hear footsteps following behind her as she did. She quickly turned around to see that the endo had moved. Ayla quickly ran, heading straight towards the vent as the endo chased after her. She crawled inside and looked behind her to see the endo's legs standing outside. It looked like it was searching around for her before Ayla heard it's footsteps retreating as it went away.
Ayla sighed and continued ahead, crawling through the vents. About halfway through, she stopped when she heard a sound that sounded like multiple footsteps, coming directly towards her. She turned around to see a small DJ music man behind her. Ayla squealed
"Hey there, little guy. Where'd you come from?"
The mini spider narrowed it's beady eyes at her before it raised it's cymbals that it was holding and slammed them together, sending out an alarm. She saw several more coming. Ayla's eyes widened and she quickly crawled down the vent as the spiders chased after her. Up ahead, she saw another opening and hopped out of the vent. Ayla landed on her feet and turned around to see the spiders had stopped pursuing her.
This place was a nightmare. Ayla continued forward until she stopped at a room that had an electronic door that was opened. However, there was a large gaping hole as if something had slashed through it, trying to get out. She walked inside and saw that it was another simulation room that looked like the daycare. The foam floors, toys scattered all over, a crescent shaped moon pillow. In the corner of the room, there was a tv set and a tape player. As Ayla got closer, she saw a few tapes lying on a shelf. She picked one up and put it into the tape player and started it up, playing the video.
The tape showed the same room that Ayla was standing in. The camera was focused on someone who was sitting in a corner that looked like an endo without it's casing, with a round face plate similar to Sun and Moon's. It was them. They were playing with a small toy ball with a bell.
"It seems the Sun/Moon prototype isn't responding. Let's wake it up with an control shock." A voice on the overhead responded.
Ayla watched in horror and shock to see Sun and Moon let out a garbled painful scream as they were suddenly electrocuted as their body was hit with volts of electricity. They fell to their knees on the floor, catching themselves on their hands. The endo looked up at the camera.
"There we go. They should be functional and able to listen to us now."
"Let us out. When are you going to let us out?" Sun asked the voice. "You promised that if we're good then you'll let us out."
"There's still a few more test to be done before you are released."
Ayla put in another tape and played it. The tape showed Sun with his casing on his endo now but was strapped to a harness on the ring on his back.
"We are going to test out the animatronic's durability to see if it can withstand damages."
"Then are you finally going to let us out? I can't wait!" Sun shouted.
"Commencing testing now." Sun was lifted up then he was immediately slammed hard right back down onto the foam padding floor.
"Stop! It hurts!" Sun screamed out to the camera desperately as he was lifted up and dropped continuously back onto the floor. "You're hurting us!"
The hook released itself from Suns' ring on his back, dropping him back on the floor one last time. Sun scurried away from it as he huddled in the farthest corner of the room. His face plate turned as it shifted, changing to Moon. Moon's glowing red eyes glared back up at the camera.
"We done what you asked. What was the purpose of that!?" Moon demanded as he let out a small growl. The voice ignored him.
"Hmm, it was able to withstand the fall with some minor damage. It's pain receptors seems to be operational as well."
Moon let out a growl.
"You'll be let out soon to fulfill your purpose." The voice finally answered him.
"And what is that? What is the point of all of these tests?!" Moon shouted. "I refuse to do anymore. You can't make us do what you want us to do!"
The voice went dead silent for a moment as if they were talking to someone else. "This is not supposed to happen. It's displaying emotions such as defiance, like a human." Then it answered Moon. "Your purpose and why you were created is to help look after the children at the daycare once it's built."
"So when are you going to let us out let you promised us?" Moon asked, still glaring up at the camera.
"Well, after that act of disobedience. You are going to have to stay here for awhile."
Ayla played the last tape. It showed Moon pacing back and forth around the room. It looked like he had been in there for weeks, who know probably even months. He was talking to himself as he was talking to Sun.
"Sun, they're not coming. They've forgotten about us. They've left us here." Moon whispered. "I'm getting us out of here, whether you like it or not. You can't stay here any longer and I can't either."
Then he stopped and turned towards the camera, looking at it before he lunged out, attacking it. The screen turned to static followed by sounds of metal being ripped apart as Moon slashed the door, escaping.
kAyla stared in silence as she saw the screen went to static as she tried comprehend what she had just watched. Her boyfriends, Sun and Moon were abused and left behind to be discarded and forgotten. She wondered if Freddy or any of the Glamrocks had gone through the same thing. She didn't even want to think of it.
She slowly walked away as she left the room heading towards the security office to get the badge.
Back with Moon, he was standing next to Gregory who was still trying to pull the doors open to Parts and Services.
"What did you think of her, Moon!? I told you she's nice!" Moon heard Sun ask him inside his head.
"She's alright." Moon replied.
"Alright?" Sun said in disbelief. "She's wonderful! She's fantastic! She's our superstar, well, my superstar! Ayla does truly care about us and I know that you care about her too! I saw the way you were looking at her when she fixed you. Admit it, you love her, too! But, I'm willing to share her with you!"
"I think I have a screw lose. What did you say?" Moon asked.
"You love her." Sun squealed happily.
Suddenly, Moon heard Ayla's voice as he was connected through her fazwatch.
"Moon! I need help!" she cried out. "There's to many-!"
"What happened? Where are you?" Moon tried to hear what she was saying but he was cut off from her. Moon got more distressed and concerned when Ayla was not answering him anymore. He looked back towards Gregory.
"Wait, here, I'll be back." Moon told him before he rushed down the hallway heading towards the basement to get to Ayla. Silently, Moon crawled along the walls on all fours, like a spider. He narrowed his eyes as he saw some of the mindless endos, stumbling around, searching for Ayla. Where was she?
"Moon, where are you? I got the key, but, I'm trapped. There's an endo staring right at me. It's just staring at me. I don't know what to do!" Moon heard her cried out. He heard her sigh in relief on the other end. "It finally left."
"I'm coming! Tell me where you're at?" Moon growled. He saw another endo crawling along the walls, just like him.
"I'm in the bin. They're everywhere! I can't get out without being seen by them." She told him. As Moon crawled further down the hallway on the ceiling. He saw many endos as well as they stomped down the hallway, coming from the security room. Up ahead he saw Ayla camping out inside of a bin just outside of the security office. She looked up and spotted him above her.
"Come on, let's get you out of here." Moon lowered himself down to her and Ayla grabbed onto him as he pulled them both up. Moon quickly crawled away as Ayla hanged onto his chest cavity as she wrapped her arms and legs around him. Moon turned his head, looking back and saw the endos were chasing after them. Just as he reached the sliding door, Moon quickly placed Ayla down and slide the door back down, breaking the lock. The two heard the endos pounding and scraping the metal door on the other end as they tried to get to them. It'll hold, but not for long with their strength.
Ayla smiled as she looked over at Moon. She leaned in and kissed him on his cheek. "Thanks, Moony."
Moon felt his systems heating up as he stood frozen where he was. "It was nothing. Just be more careful next time." Ayla laughed.
"I'll try, but I don't know if I can keep that promise." she told him. "Now, let's get you repaired and save Freddy."
The two jumped as they heard a loud bang on the sliding door as the endos were trying to break through it.
Ayla grabbed Moon's hand as they ran. "Let's agree never to come back here again!"
"Agreed." Moon nodded.
The two ran, heading back to Parts and Services to meet up with Gregory, who was waiting for them.
