Moon and Ayla met up with Gregory and Ayla used the security key to unlock the door to Parts and Services. As they stepped inside, the three saw Vanessa talking to Freddy who was contained inside of a giant glass cylinder cell, strapped into a chair. They quietly hid as they crouched down, looking through the glass window into the other room, seeing that the security guard hadn't noticed them yet.
"It's Vanessa!" Ayla whispered.
"Why do they have Freddy trapped inside of that giant tube?" Gregory asked, worried.
"Shh, I can't quite make it out but she's talking to Freddy about something." Ayla said. The three listened in on Vanessa's conversation with Freddy.
"I found him earlier and locked him up in lost and found." Vanessa said to Freddy.
"That is great news. He can be returned to his parents." Freddy replied.
"He can't. Turns out there's no record of him."
Ayla's eyes widen and she looked down at Gregory. "You don't have any parents? Anyone?"
"No." Gregory shook his head as he answered. Ayla looked at Moon, who was just as confused as she was. There was no records of him? No birth certificates, or social security, anything? Why? Something didn't add up. The three quietly listened in back on the conversation.
"How unfortunate. If you re-attach my head, I will go look from him now." Freddy suggested.
"His name is Gregory. You know how I know that? His Fazwatch kept repeating it in your voice. "Gregory? Are you there? Gregory?" Vanessa pointed out in a accusatory tone of voice to him.
"Vanessa, all of the Fazwatches sound like me. It is the default voice option." Freddy told her. Vanessa narrowed her eyes at him. "I know that Ayla has been acting very strangely as well since that brat first showed up. Is she in any way involved as well?"
"No. We only met in my room for a routine check, like you told her to do. I am telling you the truth." Freddy insisted, nervously.
"If you're part of this, you're scrap. Monty will run the shows until Parts and Service can slap your casing on a new endo. Hang out here for a while. I gotta find that kid." Vanessa said. She walked away heading up the stairs, leaving Freddy still trapped and strapped inside of the cylinder tube.
"Vanessa, do not leave me here like this!" Freddy shouted at her as she left. Vanessa went through Roxy's door, which lead up to her room. Gregory quickly opened the door and ran inside, as did Ayla and Moon.
"Gregory! I am so glad you are here and alive!" Freddy said in relief. Gregory ran up to the glass tube and tried to get it to open but it was sealed shut.
"Freddy!" Gregory exclaimed, happy, but worried as well to see Freddy in the state that he was in. The animatronic's head was detached from his body as it was suspended in the air by a pair of mechanical arms. Ayla walked over to the cylinder while Moon stayed back a few feet, quietly staring at it with an uncomfortable look in his eyes.
"Let's get you out of there." Ayla walked over to a control panel and pressed a button on it, turning it on. The screen lit up, showing that a power upgrade was in progress. She and Gregory jumped as they heard the door in front of them hissed open as it slowly began to slide up.
"Welcome to Parts and Service. Please select your desired procedure." The machine replied as it started up. Ayla pressed the power upgrade button. "Please enter the protective cylinder to continue."
Gregory immediately ran inside, running up to Freddy. "What did they do to you?"
"Routine maintenance. I am functioning much more better...now. Grammar function error. Perhaps, I am not at peak performance." Freddy explained. "Could you re-attach my head?"
"I dunno. It looks complicated." Gregory said, unsure. Ayla opened her bag and pulled out her robotics manuel, reading through it as she flipped the pages for Freddy's design page.
"Wait a minute, the robotics manuel should help out."
"Just reconnect the wires and be careful. I am not quite myself at the moment." Freddy warned them.
"I don't like the sound of that." Gregory replied. Suddenly, the cylinder's door slammed shut behind the two, locking Ayla and Gregory inside with Freddy. Ayla and Gregory both turned around to see it sealed shut behind them. Gregory ran over and banged on the glass trying to get it to open.
"It won't open!"
Ayla saw Moon, slowly walked over, seeing him looking at the cylinder cage with a cautious look. He could hear Sun screaming at him, internally.
"We need to get her out of there! They're not safe!"
"We're okay, Moon." Ayla reassured him. Moon snapped out of his thoughts with Sun, and looked at her. "Just wait over there until this is over."
"Why do you always get into these type of situations?" Moon groaned.
"I ask myself that a lot." Ayla joked, while making a small smile. She was happy to see that it did calm Moon down a little.
"In case of an emergency, the protective cylinder will protect important service personnel outside of the protective cylinder. Deactivating animatronic safety protocols now. It is recommended that no mistakes are made during the procedure." Ayla turned back towards Freddy and walked over to him, looking at the wires and comparing them to the manuel. She handed the book to Gregory as he held it for her.
"Okay, there are four different colored wires: Red, blue, green, yellow. Each one is going to flash in a different pattern. Press each one correctly in that order." She read out loud. "Great, this is just like simon. Shouldn't be too hard."
Slowly, Ayla and Gregory saw different colored lights slowly flash in a pattern, one by one. Ayla carefully pressed each one in order. Gregory and she saw the arms move as it held Freddy's head and re-attach itself back to his body. Then another set moved down in front of them with a set of colored buttons. It began to glow and flash in a pattern as well.
"Can I try this one?" Gregory asked.
"Okay, but, remember this is not a toy." She reminded him. Gregory rolled his eyes at her and stepped over to the buttons.
"I know, I know, it doesn't look too hard." He replied. Gregory pressed each one but flinched as he saw Freddy twitch as he was pressing each button in order.
"Good job. Now, use the testing console to run diagnostics and complete the procedure." The Parts and Services tube responded. Ayla and Gregory heard the door, slid open behind them as it opened. "Good job. Freddy is all patched up and ready for the big show. You may now exit the protective cylinder."
The two stepped out and Ayla walked over to the control panel and pressed the button to finish the procedure. The straps that held Freddy down, released him and Freddy sat up, getting off from the chair. He walked outside of the chamber and Gregory ran over to him, hugging him.
Ayla turned back to Moon. "Let's get you repaired."
Moon stared at the glass chamber, but didn't move from his spot. There was no way he was going in there. Then he watched in confusion as Ayla walked past him. She headed over to a table that was in the corner of the room, near the entrance.
"Hop onto this." She replied as she patted on the top of it. Moon gave her a surprised look as he turned his head sideways. "Sunny, told me about you two incident in parts and services. I'm not going to put you through that again."
Moon walked over and hopped on top of the table. "That's good to hear."
"Let's get you charged up as well." Ayla replied. Moon pointed out to her where parts and services kept some charging cables and the parts for Sun and him. Ayla walked over and grabbed the cables and plugged them into Moon, letting him charge his battery. Then she walked over to a container that had the parts needed to fix the attendant's face plate and eye. She pushed the box over towards the table and took out a new face plate and eye. Ayla pulled out some of her tools from her bag, setting them on the table next to the parts.
"You know, if you want. I could make a body for you Moon, that way you'll have your own and Sun will have his. There is enough for me to be able to do so." She asked. Moon stared at her in disbelief. His own body? A body to be able to control of his own, on his own free will.
"Moony, it's okay. I'm okay with this if you want to do this." Moon heard Sun's voice told him. "You'll have a body of your own."
"Are you sure? Do you know what your saying, Sun? We'll be apart. We won't be together anymore." Moon told him.
"That's true, but we'll still be together even if we're not. And Ayla will be with us too!" Sun said.
Ayla noticed that he still hadn't responded to her suggestion.
"It's okay, if you don't want to. This is your choice to make Moon, as well as Sun's." She told him.
"I want to do it." Ayla's eyes widen at what Moon had told her. "Sun's in agreement with this decision as well. He's fine with it."
She nodded her head. "Okay, then let's get to work." She started to slowly unscrew the damaged face plate until it came off, revealing Moon and Sun's endo face. Ayla checked the damaged eye before she started slowly tried to take it out. "Let me know if this hurts in any way. If it does I'll stop." Moon slowly nodded and hummed in response as she continued. He felt her fingers gently touching his face as she was taking the eye out. She was so soft, so gentle. He could barely feel her. Ayla swapped out the damaged eye and carefully placed the new one in. She let out a startled gasp when Moon jumped a little, and grabbed her wrist, pulling away from her.
"Did I hurt you?" Ayla asked, worried.
"Just felt a little pressure." Moon told her. He nodded and Ayla took it as an okay for her to continue. She carefully fixed the eye back into place then he saw her checking on his other eye as well before he felt the same pressure again but not as strong as the first one did. What was she doing? Was his other eye damaged and he didn't even know it? The he saw Ayla put the new face plate back onto him and started to screw it back on until she was finished. She pulled away from him, looking at her work.
"Can you blink your eyes?" she asked Moon. Moon turned his head as he looked at her confused. Blink? Suddenly, Moon felt something heavy cover his eyes as he moved them. Then he realized what she did. He has eyelids now. Ayla laughed, seeing Moon's surprised reaction.
"I figured it would be best for your eyes to have some protection." She told him. Ayla started to work on Moon's hands, taking the casing off then replacing it with a new pair. Then she started to pull out the spare parts out from the box and started to reassemble them together, giving it a pair of eyelids, putting the daycare attendant's clothes on it as well. "Now, let's get you a new body."
She placed the new body and her laptop on the table, setting it next to Moon. Then she started to connect wires to Moon and the other body. Moon started to feel a little nervous but as well as excited to have a new body of his own. Ayla noticed that he was quietly playing with his hands. She placed her hand on top of his in order to calm him down. Moon at her.
"I won't let anything happen to you. I'll see you on the other side, Moon." She reassured him.
"I'm looking forward to it." Moon chuckled in response. Ayla started up her computer and began launching the transferring program. Moon powered down as he was being transferred. Ayla saw Sun and Moon's files as she was monitoring them until she noticed something strange. There was a file that she haven't seen before as it suddenly popped up. It was labeled, .
She frowned as she stared at it in confusion. Eclipse? Like the sun and moon combined together? Why was that in there? Then she saw that the transferring was done. She looked back at the two body's in front of her, waiting. Suddenly, the one on the right started to move as foam ray petals extended out, the clothes changing back into Sun's. Sun blinked as he looked around until he saw Ayla right in front of him. Then Ayla saw the body on the left started to shift as as it's clothes started to change in Moon's color and the half of the face plate turning dark. Moon slowly blinked and his blue eyes rested on Ayla.
"How are my boys?" She smiled, looking at them.
"Ayla!" Sun exclaimed as he leaped off from the table and tackled her in a hug as he wrapped his arms tightly around her. Ayla returned his hug, hugging Sun back.
"Nice to see you again, Sunny." She replied, smiling. Moon hopped down from the table, looking down at his hands and legs. He was still in shock and in disbelief that he had a body of his own now. He was snapped out of his thoughts as Sun pounced on him to hug him next.
"Can you believe it, Moony! We've got our own bodies now! We don't have to argue about who's in control anymore! Isn't it great!" Sun said, happily.
"Yeah, it is." Moon made a raspy chuckle as he patted Sun on the back.
"Can I ask you two something?" Sun and Moon heard Ayla ask them.
"Yes, anything!" Sun shouted.
"As Moon was transferring to his new body, I noticed a strange file that wasn't there before pop up. It went into your file system Sun. Have you guys heard something called Eclipse?"
Moon and Sun's face plate turned sideways in opposite direction, thinking.
"I've heard of it once through one of the employees who worked on us. They said that it was our defense protocols in case if any once of us was in real danger." Moon told her.
"So, it's your defense system? But, why did it go into Sun's?" She questioned.
"I don't know. Maybe, because Sun's weaker than me?" Moon joked as he chuckled. Sun huffed, crossing his arms.
"I am not weak!" He retorted.
"Well, in any case, the transferring was a success and you two now have a body of your own." Ayla said, happily. "Now, we can work on getting the others fixed as well then get Gregory out of here."
"Who should we go after?" Freddy asked.
"We should focus on Chica, then Roxy, and last Monty. He'll be the hardest to get to." Ayla said to him. "What are Chica's weakness?"
"She loves Pizza." Freddy answered.
"Okay? Anything else?" Ayla asked as she blinked.
"I read a file while looking through the fazwatch that she was caught in the garbage in the kitchen after eating some of Monty's mystery mix." Gregory said. Everyone looked at him in surprise.
"Okay, then let's go find some." Ayla said. "Where would it be at?"
"Bonnie Bowl." Freddy said, softly. Ayla noticed that he sounded a little sad when he told them. She knew of whom he was thinking about. He must really miss them.
"If it bothers you, you don't have to come with us. You can wait outside if you want?" She said to him. Freddy shook his head.
"If it helps my friends to get fixed, I have to get over the fact that he's never coming back, neither is Foxy." Freddy replied.
"Freddy?" Gregory said as he called out to him. But, Freddy ignored him as he passed him and headed up the stairs, walking through Roxy's door.
