So here we are, about to go into a fun film that I learned to really love over the years.

Many of you guessed it correctly and don't worry, we'll start up X-Men after this. Just didn't wanna jump into another "dark" Marvel movie immediately after doing Blade. Plus this will give me more practice for further down the line after X-3. Practice for what exactly? You'll find out when it happens.

Let's begin with the prologue.

Lex yawned as she entered the kitchen only to blink when she saw Ruby and Cinder chasing after their respective sisters through the dining hall. Cinder's tails had little flames on the tips due to her maiden powers being enhanced by her Hanyou blood. "Emerald! Neo! You get your ice cream asses back here and accept your punishment!"

Lex sighed and sat down at the table as one of her wives gave her a cup of tea, she smiled softly and kissed her wife in thanks before they went back to working on her breakfast. Lex saw Nora practically inhaling her pancakes. "Comfort food?"

Nora nodded before looking at Lex in confusion when a button was moved in front of her. "What's this?"

Lex smirked. "Push it and find out." Nora shrugged and pushed it before music started to play while the chase continued.

Lex's wife shook her head with a smile, she was a slightly short woman with dark yellow skin along with hair that had streaks of gold and red in it and had a horn protruding from her forehead. She wore a magenta tank top and dark orange sweatpants, this was Sunset Skyguard, Lex's first wife and dimensional liaison when required. "Yakety Sax, Lex? Seriously?"

Lex shrugged with a smile of her own. "It's good chase music, honey." She drank some of her tea and sighed in relief.

"Long night again?" Lex nodded. "Want me to handle it this time?"

"Archiving or showing them a movie?"

"Both." Before Lex could even argue, Sunset continued. "Lex, go get some sleep with Tali. We both know that you two need it. Finish your breakfast and then go lay down with her, okay? I can handle it for a couple hours."

Lex sighed as she knew that Sunset was right. "Alright, but if there's any problems you let me know, okay?" Sunset nodded before giving Lex some scrambled eggs which the Kitsune ate before finishing off her tea and kissed her wife before leaving to spend some time with her favourite Quarian.

A little bit later, after everyone had calmed down, they were brought back to the large theater room from yesterday. Sunset closed the doors as everyone got to their seats. Emerald noticed that someone was missing from their group. "Uhh, where's mom?"

Sunset walked in front of them. "I told her to get some sleep since she pushed herself last night. So, instead of showing you a Marvel movie like she planned to do, I'm going to show you all a movie that was made as a love letter to superhero comics."

Jaune's interest peaked at that. "A love letter to comics? Is it good?"

Sunset smirked. "It's incredible. So sit back and relax either by yourself or with your loved ones as we watch, The Incredibles." She sat down between Cinder and Emerald while their respective mates cuddled or sat beside them as the lights turned off and the screen came to life.

Here we go! So, as you read, Lex will be taking a short break while her first wife takes over for this movie. Originally I was going to solely have Lex be the only one showing them movies, but the idea to have someone else show them something non-Marvel popped into my head and now I'm running with it! Let's hope I do a good job.

Anyways, this is church2550 signing off til the next time. I'll see you then.

Stay safe out there, Guardians!
