Chapter 2: The Lioness Awakens part 2.
( Konoha Hospital)
Both Hinata and Neji were sent to the medical ward. The preliminaries were over.
The Hokage was in the medical ward looking at Hinata.
Hiashi came barging in the room looking at his daughter and saw the Hokage standing there with a look on his face.
"Has she turned?" Hiashi says with dread.
"Yes..." Hiruzen answered
"How did this happen?" Hiashi asked with Hiruzen frowning at him.
"Your nephew was the cause of this." Hiruzen answered
"Is he?-" Hiashi began to say but Hiruzen cut him off.
"He's fine... but his arm is going to need some serious Healing. From my student Tsunade." Hiruzen says with Hiashi mumbling.
"Where is your student. I need him to put another seal on Hinata right now!" Hiashi says with fear on his face.
"So... care to explain to me why Hinata becomes a Lion? Hiashi? I was not aware of this." Hiruzen says with the Head Hyuuga frowning then sighed. Seeing that he has no choice but to spill the truth and tell him the reason why there was a seal on Hinata to keep her from becoming a blood thirsty feral lioness.
"My Wife is the reason for this.." Hiashi explains
"Elaborate?" Hiruzen says.
"My Wife Hiyori Hyuuga... has a bloodline that allows her to become a feral lioness. She was blessed by two dangerous lions to become a lion. And these two lions are the ghost and the darkness. A pair of man eating sadistic lions... sure you've heard of them..." Hiashi explains. With Hiruzen nodding sweating slightly as he has heard rumors and stories about these two lions before from his Sensei.
"Ever since Hinata's birth me and the elders grew worried that Hinata may have the same bloodline as her mother. We needed a safety measure to ensure that her turning into a Lion is restrained completely. I came to your student Jiraiya for help since he claims he's a seals master." Hiashi says with Hiruzen frowning not surprised that Jiraiya did have something to do with this.
"And did your wife knew on what you were planning to do with Hinata to keep her bloodline restrained?" Hiruzen asked
"No. We couldn't allow that. Knowing that Hiyori would protest against such action." Hiashi answered
"Is there more that your not telling me Hiashi?" Hiruzen says.
"Please listen very carefully... Hokage-sama. Now that she has awakened her bloodline and that roar she made. You need a platoon of Anbu out on the borders of Fire Country and Konoha. Because I can feel it in my bones that they are coming." Hiashi says warning the Kage.
"The lions... are coming here..?" Hiruzen says
"I'll see what I can do Hiashi. I may need to speak to Jiraiya about this. And see if he can put a stronger seal on Hinata" Hiruzen says.
"Please hurry. Before it is too late." Hiashi would say.
"And your other daughter Hanabi?" Hiruzen asks
"She hasn't shown it. It's safe to assume that Hanabi hasn't inherited Hiyori's bloodline" Hiashi replied.
"Well, I'll be going to contact Jiraiya." Hiruzen says walking out the door leaving Hiashi alone. Who glared at his daughter's sleeping form.
"Thank Kami Hanabi hasn't inherited Hiyori's bloodline..." He thought.
"What must I do with her... I can't have her killed like I did with Hiyori. The Hokage will be suspicious... I must consult with my father and the elders about this knowing they heard the roar. Hopefully Jiraiya will put a stronger seal on her to prevent her from awakening her bloodline. I hope to kami it doesn't fail again... cause if it does.. I may have to kill her myself. For the good of the Hyuuga clan... this must be done." Hiashi says in thought glaring at his daughter as he leaves her.
( Later on)
Naruto grumbled in anger. His Sensei refuses to teach him in favor of training Sasuke for the preliminaries.
What makes Sasuke so special just because he's an Uchiha and last of his clan.
Another thing worried him. And it was Hinata. He decided to visit her hospital room to see if she was okay. He was amazed and shocked that she can become a lion.
He opened the door to her room and saw her laying there still passed out.
He looked at her. She looks peaceful yet he couldn't picture her becoming something so feral and dangerous and beast like.
"Hinata..." he says softly looking at her.
She began to stir in her sleep. As she opened her eyes.
"Naruto-Kun?" She says with him turning to her.
"Hinata! Your okay!" He says while hugging her. As she blushed in response
"Naruto-kun is hugging me?" Thought Hinata still blushing while smiling. As she in turn returned the hug.
"So Hinata. How do you feel?" He says with her nodding.
"I feel good Naruto-kun... can you tell me what happened?" She asks As Naruto told her all what happened as she had a horrified expression. As she herself tried to remember that. She saw flashes of a lion in her mindscape and saw Neji being attacked by a lion.
She became a lion how? She didn't know she could become one.
"I don't have the slightest idea of how I became a lion Naruto-kun. Maybe I should speak with my father about this and see what he says." Hinata says while he gave her a big smile at her while he looked away.
"What's the matter?" She asks.
"Well my Sensei is training Sasuke as usual for the exams and I have no one who could teach me, I refuse to train under Ebisu." Naruto huffed angrily closing his eyes while unaware that Hinata's eyes glowed moonlight again and her hands were becoming claws.
"Maybe I can help you Naruto-kun. So what is my status in the exams?" She asks Reverting to normal.
"I believe they say you and Neij are in for a draw." He answered her with Hinata growling lowly at the mention of Neji.. feeling the urge to finish off her prey.
"So who do you think can help train me Hinata?" Naruto asks.
"Why not Kurenai-Sensei's friend Anko?" Hinata suggests with Naruto looking wide eyed at that.
"That Crazy lady!? No way no how Hinata!" Naruto says with a big frown.
"Crazy? Who are you calling crazy brat?" Says a familiar voice as they turned to the door and saw Anko.
