Death of Darkness

Sasuke Uchiha died in his battle against Naruto in the Valley of End, but he then conjures up every wrong that he has done, every person that he killed, every life that he ruined. In his death, his wish for a second chance will be granted, but it is to be lived out in a world he knows nothing about, a world called Remnant. Will he fulfill his wish or will he go back to darkness?

14. Chapter 14

So, um someone asked me if this was going to be an alternate universe of "Naruto, Remnant's Sage and his 9 disciples," and I'm just gonna say right here, right now, it is NOT. I did borrow the Otsutsuki thing from it, but I do not plan it to be just an alternate version. (Also BTW, the story is by qrowanime, and if you haven't read that story, you should, it's pretty good stuff) I am NOT going to have any RWBY characters suddenly have chakra and whatnot. Also, just a heads up, this chapter is gonna be a little shorter than the others, so thats that. So now that can of worms is dealt with, I'll stop taking your time and let you read. Enjoy!

Sasuke walked towards a stand that stood in front of the Argus walls, and bought a tomato. It had been a REALLY long time since he had any of his favorite food, and he believed that it was about time. Sasuke then pulled out a Kunai, which he had cleaned, and cut the tomato up into 6 even, neat slices, and popped them into his mouth one at a time like apple slices

Ruby looked at Sasuke as if he just ate frog legs, and asked, "You eat tomatoes just like that?"

Sasuke simply nodded. To some, it may seem a bit odd, but to Sasuke, it was almost like second nature

Suddenly, Ruby heard a familiar voice shout, "LITTLE CUTE BOY OZPIN!"

Oscar looked behind him, and managed to say, "Oh cra-" before Nora tackled him

Ren and Jaune then walked towards them, smiling relieved

After Team RWBY reunited with Team JNR and a few words, they got on a transport and slowly drived through the town

Sasuke ignored them as he heard them talk about how this city was able to be set up without the help of any major cities, and he used a sharpening stone and sharpened the blade of his Kunai.

Finally they got to their stop, and as they filed off, Weiss asked Jaune, "So, where are we staying?"

Jaune rubbed the back of his head, "Well, uh-"

Suddenly, a blonde woman holding a tan-skinned baby across the street shouted, "Hey Jaune!"

"Hey Saffron," Jaune replied

Ruby looked at Jaune, then Saffron, then Jaune again, and then once again Saffron, and finally the puzzle pieces stuck together

"She's your sister!?" Ruby shouted in glee and excitement

A few minutes later

"Whew, Jaune was not kidding when he said that a lot of people would be coming," Saffron said as everyone was settled in the living room, except Ren, Nora, and Sasuke, who were preparing a pile of sandwiches, and Yang and Weiss, who were cooing over the baby, who's name was Adrien

"So, I see you have a rather large family," Blake said as she looked at a family picture, which had a whole litter of blonde-haired kids all spread out over a couch, however it looked more like a madhouse then a family picture

"Yup, moved out the second I could, and my baby brother, Jaune, wanted to come with me," Saffron said

"I'm not a baby! That right there is a baby!" Jaune said, pointing at Adrien

Adrien made a grumpy face and crossed his arms, which practically got Weiss and Ynag cooing over him some more

After talking a little more, and once the food was brought in and everyone eating, Yang looked to Sasuke and cleard her throat, "Ahem, Sasuke, is there something you'd like to share with Jaune, Ren, and Nora?"

Sasuke looked at Yang, then nodded

"Oh, don''t mind me, I need to change Adrien anyway," Saffron said as she left the room

Sasuke took a deep breath, then repeated to them what he had said to Ozpin on the train

Ren was silent, Jaune was a bit bewildered, and Nora was, well…Nora.

"Chakra? Massive fireballs? WOW! SO AWESOME!" Nora shouted

Oh dear, Sasuke already knew where this was going

Nora was practically in front of Sasuke, jumping up excitedly, "What can you do?! TELL ME, TELL ME!"

Sasuke sighed

He didn't particularly like showing off his abilities, but he already knew what it felt like to be badgered about his abilities, courtesy of Ruby, and he was not gonna suffer the same fate with Nora

Sasuke made a couple of hand signs and his right hand burst into blue electricity

He could literally see Nora's eyes grow bigger, and then she started to reach out a hand to touch it

"Don't touch, or else," Sasuke said

Nora replied, "Pfft, if I touched that thing, it would probably just make me stronger."

Ren then said, "When Nora comes into contact with electricity, her strength skyrockets."

Sasuke nodded, and then dispersed the chidori. If regular electricity can make her stronger, then what can lightning style chakra do?

Sasuke simply didn't want to know

Blake then looked to Jaune and asked, "Have you been able to find a way to get us to Atlas?"

"Well, no, the Atlas Base denied as passage, and won't even let us in," Jaune said

Ruby then said, "Well, we can try again tomorrow, right?"

Jaune nodded, and Ren said, "We may have better chances now that we have Weiss with us. But until then, we will have to try to occupy some time."

Ruby nodded, then smiled and looked at Yang and Qrow, before holding up her scroll, "ANyone wanna play, VIDEO GAMES?!"

Yang and Qrow both obliged, but Sasuke got up to leave

"Where are you going?" Weiss asked

"To train, in case we run into Deidara again," Sasuke responded

Weiss nodded, then asked shyly, "Is it ok if I come with you?"

Sasuke looked hard at Weiss, before nodding reluctantly, "I don't see why not."

Weiss hopped up and made sure that she had Myrtenaster, then said, "Let's go."

As they left, Sasuke for some reason could see Yang giving Weiss a sly smile. He didn't know what it was for.

As Sasuke and Weiss walked further away from Argus, but still in sight to where Sasuke could get back in a short amount of time, Weiss asked, "Where are we going?"

Sasuke answered, "Somewhere where the presence of nature is stronger."

A few minutes later, Sasuke stopped

Sasuke then created a shadow clone and had it start practicing Senjutsu, and then he turned to Weiss

"Now, you wanted to train with me, right?" Sasuke asked

Weiss nodded

"Then draw your weapon."

Weiss drew her rapier, and activated her aura, and Sasuke his sword

"Now charge, and don't hold back," Sasuke said

Weiss got into a attack stance

Ruby went into the back yard, looking for Maria, who she found sitting on a chair, looking through a bowl of fruits

"Aah, there you are!" Ruby exclaimed

Maria looked at her, then said, "Hello there, and what may I help you with?"

Ruby looked at Maria

During the trip to Argus on the flatbed, after the fight with Deidara, Ruby asked Maria how she knew about the Apathy, and Maria said that she was the legendary Grimm Reaper, and she also said something about Ruby's silver eyes

Ruby asked the old woman, "Uh, you said there was something special about my eyes. What is it that they can do?"

Maria smiled, and said, "Come closer, and I will tell you."

Weiss panted, as she tiredly held out her sword

She then yelled in effort as she once again stuck her sword into the ground, and a glyph formed in front of her, and the Armas Gigas started to climb out

Suddenly, a long, blue, electric blade slashed its head off before it could fully emerge, and the knight faded, as did the glyph

Weiss held the sword out in front of her and went into a defensive stance, but Sasuke just sheathed his sword and said, "That's enough."

Weiss collapsed on her knees

Jeez

Sasuke then proceeded to say, "You're relying too much on your summoning. Instead of attacking or defending when you're supposed to, you fall back and try to summon. A better strategy would be to attack your opponent and stun them instead of falling back, which in turn will give you enough time to summon. Another thing, your weapon."

Sasuke gestures to Weiss's rapier

"In order to land a fatal hit, you need to stab with it, which is better when aiming for speed, reach, and accuracy, but is harder to land when your opponent is continuously moving. Slashing however, isn't as accurate, and requires more strength, but covers more area than stabbing, however, with your weapon, not much lethal damage is dealt when you slash. Try channeling Electric dust into your weapon to give it some cutting power so that it can deal more damage when you slash. That is all for now."

Sasuke looked at Weiss's condition, then he made a few hand signs, and took some of the Senjutsu Chakra that his clone made, then held out his hand towards Weiss

"Palm Sage Jutsu," Sasuke said, and immediately sage chakra went out to her, and healed any injuries that she had

Sasuke had picked up the jutsu back at the farm, and during the time that he practiced Senjutsu there, Hagoromo told him about the technique, however, Sasuke still needed to practice it. The only reason why it worked on Weiss was because her injuries were more minor. However, the technique would be more effective if he went into Sage Mode

Weiss could feel the effects, and got up once she was completely healed, and asked Sasuke, "Will do, after a few modifications, but Sasuke, why did you say yes to training me?"

Sasuke simply gave her a deadpan stare and said, "Because, I simply saw potential in you."

Weiss nodded, then she looked at Argus. The sun had begun to set, and its orange glow made the waves gleam and shine.

Weiss turned to Sasuke, and noticed that he too was looking at the sunset. Whether she knew it or not, the sunset had brought back memories for Sasuke

Sasuke sat down, and said, "Let's take a break."

As Weiss sat down next to Sasuke, Sasuke brought back up the memory in his head

It was some time when Sasuke was 6 or 7. Itachi had taken him for a hike, and at the end of the day, they sat on top of the monumental cliff that had the hokage's faces carved into it, and watched as the soft, sunset orange sphere slowly went past the horizon

For some reason, the sunset before him reminded him of that time when all was innocent and blissful.

Sasuke looked at Weiss, who hadn't noticed that he was looking at her, and once again, he saw himself in her, his younger self. Suddenly, Sasuke noticed how beautiful she looked with the sunset shining on her face

Weiss noticed Sasuke, and looked at him

"Is everything okay?"

Sasuke nodded, and got up, "Come on, we need to get back."

Salem was a bit bewildered. She hadn't known exactly how powerful Madara truly was.

Salem asked once more, "So, you mean you could easily beat all of the best huntsmen and huntresses, warriors, and soldiers from Vale, Mistral, Vacuo, and Atlas altogether in one combined army?"

"Indeed," Madara said, "If your description of huntsmen is true, then even a low Jonin could defeat the best huntsmen rather handily."

Salem then looked at Itachi, "And how powerful is this Sasuke?"

Itachi then says, "In his prime, he was the most powerful person in his time, and only one could match him. However, Madara could defeat Sasuke's prime."

Salem smiled. There was no stopping her now.

Madara then asked, "So, these brother gods you say will be brought back once these four relics are combined?"

Salem nods

Madara continues, "And if they are destroyed, humanity will truly be freed from them, and once they are, we can then establish everlasting peace?"

"Yes, that's the plan," Salem lied

Madara didn't seem to spot the lie, and said, "If that is so, then you will have my assistance. However, there is one thing you should know."

Madara let out a dark aura that was so powerful, the windows had started to rapidly crack, and Salem felt is if it was suffocating her

"Next time you decide to forcefully control me, make sure you have a stronger grip, devil," Madara said
