Hey, D211 here, I was just wondering, what is your guys opinion on what the best chapter is so far? Just a thought, I was wondering.
Sasuke got up early
He couldn't sleep again, so he went out into the backyard, stuck his blade into the ground, then stood on the handle and balanced on top of it while practicing Senjutsu. That was Hagoromo's idea
For some reason, Sasuke couldn't stop thinking about Weiss. Her Ice-blue eyes, her white hair, and the scar she had near her-ARGGG, FOCUS!
Sasuke banished the thought from his mind
He took in a deep breath, and began the process
"Well, practicing Senjutsu now, are we?"
"What is it now? I'm a bit busy here."
"Do not worry, I will not take up much of your time"
"Well, speak up."
Suddenly, Hagoromo's voice took on a serious tone
"Sasuke, what I am telling you must not be taken lightly."
Sasuke grew serious, and replied, "Is something wrong?"
"There is something besides Salem, a much bigger threat, but it is not here yet."
"What is this threat?"
"Otsutsuki"
Sasuke almost fell off his sword
"What do you mean!?"
"It wasn't until recently that I noticed that they were coming, but from my calculations, they could be here in three years' time."
"Are they like Kaguya?"
"No, thankfully not. I happen to know what their names are. Urashiki, Kinshiki, and Momoshiki. They are not as powerful as Kaguya, however, if they were given certain conditions, they could possibly be."
"Then I just won't give them those conditions"
"That is not all, Sasuke."
"What?"
Hagoromo paused, then said, "Allow me to tell you a story. When I was in my youth, I went exploring the universe, but then one day, I found two cosmic beings, The God of Light, and The God of Darkness. We got along quite well, then they told me about their plans to create a world. I agreed and assisted them in their efforts. However, the brother gods began to quarrel, and I tried to stop the battle, but I was not as powerful then. I battled the God of Darkness, and despite my valiant efforts, I was defeated. However, before the God of Darkness could finish me, his elder brother stopped him, and the two dueled until the God of Darkness was defeated. I had a debt to him ever since. They then made amends, and their quarreling stopped. However, I went back to my world, but little did I or Hamura know that my mother had actually had another daughter, a half sister. She had as well went to explore the universe, and found the earth that the brother gods created."
"What was her name?"
"Zenshiki. She did not possess any kind of Dojutsu yet, as she was still young. She found the God of Light, and they fell in love, and had a child. That child was the first Silver-eyed warrior, and was different than many other Silver-eyed people because that child was part Otsutsuki. However, The God of Darkness was jealous, and waged war once again. The fight was long and perilous, and in the crossfire, Zenshiki was killed. Once the God of Light had once again made amends and defeated his brother, he came and told me. I was furious. Furious at my mother for never telling me of my half-sister, and furious at the God of Darkness for killing her, and furious at the God of Light for allowing her to die. I attacked him, and I had grown stronger. I battled the God, but his younger brother came to his aid, and together, I was defeated. We then made a truce, to never cross paths again. But then, once I found out that Zenshiki had a child, I broke the treaty, and went to their world. I searched, and found her child, who was now an old woman, and dying from old age. She had 4 children in her lifetime. The God of Light had created many more Silver-eyed warriors, but none of them were of the blood-line of Zenshiki."
Sasuke had stayed silent during the entire story, and once Hagoromo finished, he said, "And why do you tell me this?"
"Because, Ruby is a part of that bloodline. She has the same Otsutsuki blood in her as you do."

The gates clanked shut
They were not letting them in
"Oh, come on!" Yang shouted in frustration
Two guards behind the gate said, "Passage denied. The borders are closed, and we will not be giving you passage to Atlas."
Ruby then started, "But-"
"DENIED!"
Blake then said, "We-"
"DENIED!"
Qrow said, "Hey-"
"DENIED!"
Weiss facepalmed
This is getting annoying
Sasuke then walked forward, and said, "Let me try."
He then activated his Sharingan, and looked the officers in the eye behind the gate, and using Genjutsu, said, "You will let us speak with your commanding officer. Tell her we have Weiss Schnee."
The officers then both said in unison, "We will let you speak with our commanding officer. We will tell her that you have Weiss Schnee."
They then marched off
Sasuke then turned to his group, and Weiss crossed her arms and said, "And why didn't you do that earlier?"
"For reasons," Sasuke replied
Maria then frowned, "Uh, I think I may know who their commanding officer is."
"Well, then thats good, if you guys are friends," Ruby said
"No, not friends," Maria replied, "More like…."
"Colleagues?" Oscar asked
"Nope," Maria answered
"Enemies?" Blake said
"Yes! That's the word I'm looking for!" Maria exclaimed
"What made you guys enemies?" Ren asked
"You bring outside peanuts into a base one time, your on the screening list for life," Maria said
"Seriously?" Qrow asked
"Yes, seriously," Maria answered
The two soldiers came back, and the gates opened
"Welcome, Special Operative, Caroline Cordovin!" the soldiers said as if they were at a amateur auction
A short woman came walking out, and said, "At ease, soldiers."
Then she looked at Maria, "I see that your party of no-goods is bigger now."
Maria then replied, "I have heard that over time, people change, but you Caroline? No, you're still the same, with a stick all the way up your a-"
Ruby then interrupted, "We just want some help getting to Atlas."
"And why would I do that? The border to Atlas is closed, which means no passage!" Caroline said
Sasuke sighed
Looks like he was gonna have to save the day again
Sasuke activates his Sharingan again, and looks at Caroline and says, "Excuse me."
Caroline made eye contact with him and said, "What?"
Sasuke then put her under Genjutsu, and said, "Please give us a flight to Atlas. We have very important business with General Ironwood. It is very urgent."
Caroline then replied, "I will give you a flight to Atlas. But, unfortunately, all our aircraft are occupied right now, so you won't be able to get a flight to Atlas until about in 4 days."
Sasuke then nodded, and deactivated his Sharingan, and replies, "We can work with that."
Caroline nods, and glared at Maria before saluting them and closing the gates to the base
Sasuke then turned around and said, "You heard her. We have 4 days. Everyone get comfortable."
Everyone gave Sasuke a perplexed look
"Well, that was easy," Yang said, "Who's up for brunch?"

In the land of Darkness
Salem thought she had the perfect plan
Summon the three beings, and put them under the strongest control spell she had, and make them do her bidding
However, she found out that the blonde one she didn't need to do it on, he was on her side fully, and so she put the spell on the other two
Itachi had managed to barely break it, but when she tried to stop Madara from getting into a fight with Arthur Watts, he broke her spell like one would break a twig. How was that possible?
Her spell could make even the most ferocious, and smartest, most experienced Grimm do her bidding without even a question, how was it that Madara had so easily broken out of her control?
Salem suddenly realized that this person that she had resurrected may have been a mistake. She would have to be careful from now on.
Itachi then walked into the room, and he looked at Salem from his end of the long table
Itachi then said, "Salem. You said you wanted to see me about something?"
Salem nodded, and said, "I'm sending you to assist Deidara. Seems that even with his new gift, he can't defeat Sasuke."
Itachi nodded, and said, "Is that all?"
Salem then said, "If what you said about your Mangekyou is true, then I will give you the same healing factor as Deidara. That way you can use your abilities as much as you want, and your eye will heal from any damage done."
Then she held up her hand, and an orb of purple energy formed, and it floated to Itachi, and when he caught it, it was absorbed into his hand, and his eyes pulsed purple for a second before they went back to it's normal color.
"Now go. You will find Deidara in Argus."

A few hours later, back at Saffron's house, everyone sat in silence
Jaune then asked, "So, what is it that you wanted to tell us, Oscar?"
Oscar looked uncomfortable
Sasuke looked at Oscar impatiently, and said, "Speak."
Oscar then told them about how Salem was Immortal, and his story
He could tell that when he was done, team JNR was upset
Jaune, in his frustration, punched a wall, and left behind a spiderweb of cracks
"Jaune, calm down!" Ruby said
"How can I stay calm!? Everything we are doing is for nothing!" Jaune shouted
Ren then said, "Jaune does have a point. If an enemy cannot be killed, then how can they be stopped?"
Sasuke then stood up and said, "They can be sealed away. Back then your chances of defeating her were slim, but now that you have me, we can defeat her."
Jaune then looked at Sasuke, and said, "Yeah, so what? Salem's immortal, and any prison or seal you put her in is never going to last forever! And if our chances were so much bolstered by just you coming, then where the hell were you all this time!? Matter of fact, why were you here?"
Sasuke then glared at Jaune, and his chakra flared out, and out of habit, his Sharingan activated and let out a red glow, and he said, "Watch your mouth. You may have improved, but I could easily kill you in a blink."
Jaune stepped back, and Sasuke looked around him, and could see everyone staring at Sasuke shocked at what he just said
Sasuke looked at the TV that was off, and could see that his Sharingan was on without him knowing, and so he sighed and deactivated it, and forced his chakra back in
Then he looked at Jaune, and reluctantly said, "I'm…sorry. I didn't know what happened just now, but I want you to know, I didn't mean it."
He then held out his hand, and Jaune took it and they shook hands as a sign of a truce
"Well, on the bright side, we have a plane to Atlas," Nora said
"Yeah, I don't know what we would have done without Sasuke," Yang said
"Probably steal a plane," Jaune said
"Yeah, I don't think that would have went so well," Weiss said
They then laughed
However, Sasuke questioned himself
"Why am I here?"

Three days later
Sasuke stood by the cliff that dropped into the ocean
"Answer me!"
Sasuke had been out there for a hour, practicing Senjutsu, but he couldn't get his mind off of what Jaune said
"Yeah, so what? Salem's immortal, and any prison or seal you put her in is never going to last forever! And if our chances were so much bolstered by just you coming, then where the hell were you all this time!? Matter of fact, why were you here?"
Why was he here?
Suddenly, Sasuke remembered something Hagoromo said
He said, that he had a debt to the God of Light
What if, by sending Sasuke here, he was Hagoromo paying off a debt
Sasuke clenched his fists
It was happening again. He was being used.
Sasuke then said angrily, "Is that all I am? Some tool to be used to fix a debt? Is that all I am to you Hagoromo!? Is it!? IS IT!?"
"No it is not," Hagoromo said, having finally answered Sasuke, "That is not all that you are."
Sasuke seethed, "Then why did you send me here? To grant my wish, or to pay off a debt? Did you send me here because the God of Light simply wanted someone to help Ozpin in his quest? Or did you send me here because no one wanted me but you? TELL ME!"
"I did not just send you here to pay off a debt, there were other reasons as well."
Sasuke grew even more angry, "So, you admit it."
"You wanted a second chance. I gave it to you. I also paid my debt at the same time. I simply saw a way to kill two birds with one stone."
"So all I am is a pawn for you to toy with, is that it?"
"No, that is no-"
"DON'T LIE TO ME!"
"Do not demand things from me, Sasuke. You may be the reincarnation of my son, Indra, but I will not hesitate to deliver discipline. Do not question my motives."
"I WILL question them. I am not some person who you can use or manipulate for your own purposes. I am not some weak being that you can throw around. I don't want just a half-truth."
Hagoromo was silent
"We are finished here."
Sasuke felt his presence leave
Sasuke exhaled a angry breath, and then he heard footsteps
Sasuke turned around to see Weiss and Blake, walking towards him
Sasuke had been training Weiss a lot, and he could see her improve greatly. He had actually grown a bit fond of her.
Blake, Yang, and Ruby came sometimes too to train with Sasuke
Sasuke buried his anger deep down, and put back up his deadpan expression
"Hello, back for more?"
Weiss nodded, and said, "So, what are we doing today?"
Sasuke then said, "Follow me."
They walked into the forest, and Blake asked, "Where are we going?"
Sasuke didn't answer her
As they walked, they neared a waterfall
Sasuke then stopped, and said, "This is the place. Sit."
Sasuke then sat down, crossed his legs, and closed his eyes, as if in meditation.
Blake and Weiss did the same
After a few minutes, Blake asked, "What are we doing?"
Sasuke then shushed her, "Stay silent, and listen. What do you hear?"
Blake listened as close as she could, and said, "A waterfall?"
Weiss then added, "Birds?"
"Now, what do you smell?"
Blake then said, "The smell of pine needles?"
Sasuke then said, "And what are they a part of?"
"Nature?" Weiss said
Sasuke nodded, and said, "Correct. You see, no matter what world you are in, nature will always be a part of it. Nature gives you energy when you train in it. Nature gives you food, water, sunlight for crops, and hides you from danger when it is night. For me, Nature is what gives me power. Nature chakra. Without it, I cannot forgo into Sage Mode. Nature can be your ally, or it can be your enemy. So you must learn to respect it. Use your environment for your purposes, but what you take from Nature will always be returned to it, one way or another."
Sasuke then stood up
"You have all eagerly taken my training. And with it, you will become stronger. That is a guarantee."
Sasuke then allowed himself to give them a small smile, "I feel rather proud of you, if I say so myself."
Then quickly his smile disappeared
Something wasn't right
Blake then asked, "What's wrong?"
"Shhh," Sasuke said, "Something's not right."
Suddenly, they heard a noise, like a blade being drawn, and when Sasuke looked behind, he saw a giant wave of red energy sailing toward him.
All I can say is that things are gonna escalate, and the shit is gonna hit the fan.
