Fuyuki (Part 4)
*Inside A Dark Cave*
The four manage to enter inside a Dark Cave where they were immediately introduced to Skeletons wielding duel blades. For several minutes, Sonic, Mash, and Caster were taking down each enemy one by one like it was nothing to them. Sonic performs a 'Sonic Rocket' attack down at the Skeleton. The Skeleton notices Sonic flying down towards it and blocks Sonic's attack with its swords. Sonic smirks as he jumps back in the air using the skeleton's swords, curls into a ball and it looked like he was going to Spin Dash at the Skeleton, but instead creates a forward-moving projectile shockwave and hits the Skeleton, knocking it away from Sonic. Moments later the Skeleton gets hit by the shockwave, Maah runs towards the skeleton and hits it as she began taking it away towards a wall. Using her strength, she continues to run towards and soon, crushes the Skeleton between her shield and the cave walls before shattering from the crush and Fading away. Soon, more enemies began to appear as they all were charging towards Mash. However, they were soon disrupted by several flaming energy balls from Caster and knocked all three into the cave's wall and hit hard. As the Skeletons were trying to stand back up, Sonic took the opportunity to attack as he runs towards them, curls into a ball and spins around the Skeleton fast enough, creating a figure eight and blue flames igniting behind him. The Skeletons soon began to burn as the heat of Sonic's attack was too much for them. Eventually, the heat was so hot, all Skeletons turned into piles of dust before Fading away. Sonic then stops him and jumps right back next to Mash.
"Man... I almost feel kinda bad even doing that to them." Sonic said while stretching his back
"Great job, Sonic! You really turned up the heat in that last attack." Mash said
"Heh heh, What can I say?
"Save the talk later you two, The Greater Grail is back here. It's a little far back, so don't get lost." Caster said
"Talk about your creepy caves... The only thing missing here are buttnicks badniks and I'd feel like I'm back at home again..." Sonic commented
"This place looks like a natural cave... Did this always exist in Fuyuki City?" Mash said
"These caves look like a combination of natural and half man-made construction... It's the underground workshop expanded by mages over a number of years. Speaking of which, Caster, do you know the true name of Saber? It will help us to figure out who they are if we are to defeat them." Olga asks
"Of course, I know who Saber is. Anyone hit by her Noble Phantasm will never forget it, Hell, it was that Noble Phantasm that took out all the other Servants." Caster responded
"It was that powerful? What kind of Noble Phantasm was it she used?" Mash asks
"It's the sister sword to sword in the stone. One of the most legendary swords in your history. Its name is..."
"The Sword of Promised Victory, Excalibur. The very sword wielded by the King of Knights, King Arthur." A voice said
After hearing what the voice just said, Sonic's eyes instantly widen and his body completely froze. Mash notices Sonic in shock and tries to tell him something.
"Sonic, what's wrong? Why are you in a state of total shock?" Mash asking Sonic
"K-King A-Arthur... E-Excalibur... Y-Y-You can't be serious..." Sonic in complete shock
"I-It's... It's Archer!" Olga shouted
"Well well, if it isn't Saber's personal lapdog. Decided to come and face us finally?" Caster said
"I'm no ones lapdog... I'm simply doing what will bring about the best results for me. I can at least admit what I really want unlike you, deluding yourself and your desires by helping these people and their pet. Youn never learn do you?" Archer said
"You're the last person I really want to hear that from you bastard! Hey, young lady, I'm gonna need your shield! He may be an Archer but he won't do jack-all against someone like you! Without your shield, I won't have the time to cast my spells."
"O-Oh! Oc course! Just leave it to me, I'll stop any attack he throws at us!" Mash said
Moments later, Sonic escapes from his state of shock, returns to reality and begins asking Archer a question.
"Hold up! Before we start fighting, there's something I gotta ask him! Hey Archer, I need you to tell me something. Is what you said just now true? Is this Saber lady we're going up against really King Arthur?" Sonic asks
"Indeed she is King Arthur. If you value your life, you'' surrender to me and die quickly. You all have no hope of defeating her for good." Archer responds
"*Giggles* Sorry pal, but I'm dying any time soon! if you wanna kill me, you're gonna have to catch me first!" Sonic said
Moments later, Sonic sprints off and begins running circles around Archer.
"W-What the hell?!" Archer shock
Archer soon fires off a barrage of arrows at Sonic, but each arrow kept missing Sonic just barely. Sonic looks at Archer and winks at him.
"How fast is this creature?!" Archer shock
"Catch me if you can!"
Soon after, Sonic performs a somersault/bicycle kick knock Archer upwards and into the air. Sonic then jumps into the air and performs a powerful axe kick from a frontward somersault, and knocking Archer to the ground hard.
"Keep it up blue boy! I'll back you up!" Caster said
Moments later, Caster begins firing off several bolts at Archer who was on the ground from Sonic's attacks.
"Tch! I'm not dealing with this! I'll put an end to this nonsense! ...I am... the bone of my sword-"
"HEY KID! Now's your chance! The defence is all on you!" Caster shouted
"So as I pray... Unlimited Blade Works!"
Soon, Archer creates his reality marble and surrounds the group with swords.
"DIE!"
"I won't allow it! LORD CHALDEAS!" Mash cried out
Mash quickly lands her shield down and creates a large barrier that protects everyone.
"I should have realized by the shield! That still won't save you!" Archer said
"It won't save us, but it damn will give us time to prepare! You, Hedgehog, you ready?!"
Sonic begins revving up faster and faster until he finally stops and a blue aura begins surrounding his body.
"Ready-!" Sonic said
"Time to send you packing you Bastard! WICKER-MAN!"
"-GO!"
Sonic dashes through the large flaming wooden golem and dashes toward Archer surrounded in flames,
"Not a chance! RHO AIAS!"
Archer creates a large barrier to block Sonic's assault.
"Not gonna save you from me pal!" Sonic said
Sonic strikes the barrier, bouncing off of it and rushing around it, sticking Archer behind and into the barrier. Archer falls to the floor as his body slowly began catching on fire.
"Tch... To think this is how I get beaten... By two blue bastards of all things..." Archer said before vanishing
"Sonic... That was incredible!" Mash amazed by Sonic's attack
"And it was all thanks to caster right here." Sonic said
"That's one more lapdog taken care of. Not bad Hedgehog, that was a pretty ballsy move you pulled off there with my Noble Phantasm." Caster said
"Ballsy doesn't even describe what you two just did! How are you even still alive after being covered in flames?!" Olga looking at Sonic
"Lady, I've been through Volcanoes, Deserts, Snowy Mountains, even though you found me freezing to death outside the building... Oceans, and Space! Being on fire while at Mach speed is just another normal day for me." Sonic responded
"...I-I give up trying to understand you... You make less sense than a heroic spirit, and they're from our actual proper human history despite it!" Olga said
"Okay you two, you can argue logic later, right now, we've got a Greater Grail Grail to destroy. Saber's no pushover, so we're all going to have to be on our A Game. Especially you, young lady, you're going to need to keep your Master safe and alive at all cost you hear me?! If you let go of that shield, your Master behind it will evaporate instantly." Caster said
"Wonder how many times I've been told that before," Sonic commented
"Listen, don't think about beating the Sword. All you need to think about is protecting your Master. That's right up your alley, no? Well, anyway. Leave it to me to finish off Saber, and just do what you need to do." Caster said
"Of course! I'm still unsure oh how I will fair up against Saber, but I won't back down yet! master' I'll fight beside you to the bitter end!" Mash said
"That's what I like to hear, Thanks, Mash! Like I said, you and I are an unstoppable team! Let's go knock this King down, aye?" Sonic said holding his fist out to Mash
"*Smiles* We shall Sonic! I'm ready to go whenever you are!" Mash giving Sonic a fist-bump
"That's what I like to hear from you, Hedgehog. But before we head out, is there anything you've left undone?" Caster asks
"Hmm... I can't think of anything that I forgot to do. So no, I'm ready." Sonic responded
"That's good to hear. I dislike Masters who can't up their minds when push comes to shove. You're still a rookie on all this, but you've got the most important thing a pioneer can have. the divine luck to grasp fate, and the ability to make decisions. Don't forget how to be reckless. People like that are the ones who'll get blessed by the stars." Caster said
"I don't know what you're talking about. Whether we forge or go back, we need at least rest first. Doctor, are you checking vitals? Sonic looks different than the first time we met him." Olga said
"Huh? Ah... Yeah, this doesn't look very good. It's because of the unexpected Servant contract... You never used your magic circuits and now they're running at full capacity. It's probably putting stress on your brain. Mash, set up camp. It's time to make warm tea with plenty of honey."
"W-Wait what, we don't have to do this... I'm completely fine and still able to fight. Let's just get moving." Sonic said
"Sorry Master... I think Docter is right. You've been so much in so little time, I think it's for you to take a break. Tea time is a good idea." Mash said
"But I'm fine Mash! I've been through worse than this, this is nothin- OW!" Sonic shouted
Without any more, Olga pulls one of Sonic's quills hard in order for him to stop talking.
"You should be happy that we're doing this for you. So just relax and wait!" Olga said before realizing Sonic's quill from her grip
"Okay, okay... I'll relax for a little while, jeez..." Sonic said
"Oh, feeding yourselves before the final battle then maybe I'll go hunting for some wild boards."
"I'm sure there aren't any around here. besides, forget about meat, if you must get something make it fruit.
*A Little While Later*
"...I'm stuffed. I can't believe you had dried fruits with you, Director. Again, your level of preparation astonishes me." Mash said
"I'll admit... that dried fruit was kinda good to eat." Sonic lying down on the ground next to Mash with his eyes closed
"I just happened to have them. Citrus is effective against headaches. But that aside-"
Sonic opens one eye and looks at Olga.
"What's going on, Olga? Why the sudden silence?" Sonic asks
"I really hate to say this... but even though you are a Master with knowledge of being one, the work you've done so far, has been passable. As the Director of Chaldea, I have to give you credit." Olga praising Sonic
Sonic stars at Olga and gives her a smile.
"Hmph. What's that look for? I'm sure it's a fluke, but right now you're all we've got. What I'm saying is, keep it up and you might hear praise from me yet. I know that even a hird-rater can do first-rate work." Olga said
"Well, well, admitting that Sonic did a solid job. Have you eaten something sweet?" Romani said
"Romani. If you've got time to be flapping your gums, use it to send Sonic a su[pply or two instead. I would feel bad if someone failed because they were ill-equipped. Especially, when they have been doing their best." Olga said
"What's this? "Feel bad?" How kind of you. Director does this mean you're finally opening up your heart?" Romani said
"What did I say? Deep inside her, she's a kind person and will help others in need if she isn't overworked." Sonic said
"Idio... I-I meant pitiful! Pathetic! You couldn't even tell that?" Olga said
"Well, this may be weird to explain but I never grow tired of watching young men and women interact. Although in this case scenario, it's a talking blue Hedgehog."
"Is that right? Certainly, the Director is older, but I feel like we have similar tastes. I feel affection for her." Mash commented
"What are you going on about? I tools you before that you're all just tools to me!" Olga said
While Olga, Mash, and Romani were talking, Sonic heard a sound as he looks and notices an enemy close to Olga. Sonic eyes widen but didn't say anything.
"(Mm, hmm.)"
"There, see? Even this shadowy-like monster-thing agrees with me!" Olga said
Silence soon fills the cave for a few moments.
"Uhhhh... Olga..." Sonic said
"What? What is it?" Olga said
"You may wanna look back on that person next too you." Sonic pointing at something next to her
Olga looks confused and slowly turns her head at what Sonic was pointing and soon realizes that an enemy was right next to her.
"Huh? Eeeek! Mash, Sonic, hurry up and get rid of it! It's gonna eat me! It's gonna eat me!" Olga panicked
The Skeleton raises its two swords and was about to attack Olga until Sonic quickly stands back up and dashes toward the enemy Skeleton where he falls down and presses his hand against the ground and sweeps with one of his legs in a 360 degree circle that resembles break-dancing and knocks the Skeleton out of it's balanced and drops them to the ground. Soon after, Mash slams her shield down at the Skeleton where she breaks the Skeleton in half before vanishing. Seconds later, three more duel-wielding Skeletons appear as they all began charging at the three. Sonic curls into a ball and starts charging up in a Spin Dash position and spinning rapidly. As he charges up faster and faster, sparks begin to light up behind Sonic.
"Mash, NOW-!" Sonic shouted
"Understood!"
Moments later, Mash runs up toward Sonic with her shield in front of her. Sonic quickly jumps in the air while still curled into a ball as MAash slams her shield right at Sonic and launches him straight towards the three Skeletons. Moments later, Sonic Spin Attack's one of the skeletons and completely torn in half before vanishing. Moments later, Sonic hits the wall of the cave as he bounces off it and attacks the second Skeleton from behind, decimating the second Skeleton before vanishing. Mash notices Sonic coming towards her as she gets in her fighting stance, and lunges toward Sonic, hitting Sonic once again and launching Sonic towards the last skeleton, but this time even faster. It was so fast that, Sonic became engulfed in flames and soon burns his way through the last Skeleton, completely burning it into ashes and vanishing soon after. Soon after, Sonic bounces off the wall as he uncurls him and skids on the ground, stopping himself right next to Mash and Olga, engulfed in flames once again.
"That was amazing Mash! You really showed them whose boss!" Sonic said while his back was engulfed in flames
"Thank you, Sonic." Mash responded
"Again, you're again engulfed in flames! How are you still alive?!" Olga said
"Hehe, like I said... It's just a regular day for me to be engulfed in flames." Sonic responded
"..."
"Anyway... I think it's time we pack up and finally make our way to Saber. I really want to meet this King Arthur." Sonic starting to walk-off
"Understood, Master! I'll be right behind you." Mash following behind Sonic
"*Sigh* This Hedgehog..." Olga said before following behind the two
*The Far East*
After a while, the four finally make it to their next destination. The Greater Grail.
"This is the Greater Grail... it's an ultra-superior Magical Reactor... What's it doing on this island nation in the Far East?" Olga asks
"According to our data, it was built by an eminent family of alchemists called the Einzberns. Though apparently they didn't belong to the Mage's Association and were solely made of homunculi." Romani said
"Sorry, that's it for the chitchat. The lady has noticed us."
The lady turns and notices Sonic, Mash, Olga, and Caster starring back at her. Her skin and hair are pale, her dress is black, while her armour is darkened and become dark purple, with several blood-red linings painted on 'em. She also carries a black sword with blood-red linings and has yellow eyes. It was none other than Saber.
"So... This is King Arthur huh?" Sonic starring at Saber with a serious look on his face
"Yup, the king of knights herself in the flesh. Don't let her small stature fool though, she's one hell of a fighter. If we're not careful and don't play smart, we're dead!" Caster responded
"She seems to have changed somehow but she's the king of Britain, Arthur, wielder of the Sacred Sword." Romani said
Sonic's head becomes to bump as soon as he heard Romani say 'Sacred Sword.' He begins to grind his teeth.
"Do not say anything, Sonic... I know how desperately you want to say something, but not right now. Right now, focus on taking down her." Sonic thought
"Her gender's different than the legend, but she had her reasons for dressing like a man in Camelot. I mean, you can't assume the throne unless you're a man, right? She must've had to pretend to be a guy for family reasons. I have an idea who's behind that. It's mentioned in the legends, but Merlin really does have terrible taste."
"Huh? Ah, you're right. I thought that person was a man, but it's a woman." Mash said
"Don't be fooled by her appearance. She's a monster. Her power is not of muscle, but a ridiculous amount of magical energy. Every single strike is massive. If you're not paying attention, the top half of your body will go flying." Caster said
"Basically, just think of her as a human rocket... Understood, I'll fight back with everything I've got." Mash said
"Good. If you defeat her, the anomaly in this town will disappear. Listen, that includes both me and her After that, it's your job. I don't know what will happen, but do the best you can." Caster said
"How intriguing... I have never seen a creature such as this one before. Have you really grown desperate enough to seek aid from some rodent?" Saber looking at Sonic
"Don't take me for some street rat lady. Your bow boy did the same and we took care of him pretty nicely. Sides, this isn't my first rodeo going up against a King Arthur. Granted, he was on horseback and a lot bigger than you." Sonic said
"Dang it, Sonic!"
'What! You can talk? You were just maintaining your silence all this time?" Caster said
"Yes, and you were being watched the whole time you were chatting. I merely acted as a scarecrow. An also you, You're an interesting creature, to say the least. If you're so confident you can defeat me as you have him, then, by all means, try as you might rodent." Saber said
"Wait wait... Did you just say that you have fought King Arthur before Sonic?!' Romani shock
"Will talk later about that, Roman. Right now, I have some business to take care of." Sonic replied
"Be careful Sonic! her magical output is off the charts; One wrong move and she'll kill us all easily!" Mash said
"Heh, I've always been a fan of impossible odds! That just makes beating them all the more satisfying!' Sonic replied
"That I can agree with to an extent. Either way, the both of you better get ready, her Noble Phantasm will rip us to shreds if we don't finish her off for good." Caster said
"Enough. I shall see if you three have what it takes to withstand the might of my sword." Saber said
Moments later, Saber runs at Sonic and takes a might swing at him. Sonic was ready for the attack and quickly dodges out the way as the swords come down and creates large cracks on the ground.
"Ha! Didn't expect me to dodge that, didn't yall? Now, it's my turn." Sonic said
Sonic begins to rev up and spin dashes into Saber. However, Saber extends her arm, stops Sonic from attacking her, grabs him by the throat and begins choking him hard. Olga and Mash's eyes widen as they watched Sonic being choked to death.
"Sonic!" Olga shouted
"Master!" Mash cried out
"You're quite a fast rodent. But your speed will not save you for long." Saber said
"*Trying To Talk While Being Choked* Is... Is this the best... you can... do?!" Sonic said
Moments later, Saber throws Sonic away from her as she begins building up a massive amount of energy into her blade and swings again, sending the energy wave at Sonic.
"Sonic!"
Mash runs to Sonic's side and blocks the massive energy wave before it can hit Sonic.
"I-I won't let you hurt my Master again!" Mash shouted
"Annoying brat! Get out of my way!" Saber said
Moments later, Saber begins to strike Mash's shield several times and kicks her out the way.
"Your defence is strong, but it will falter soon!" Saber said
"Not if I have anything to say about it!" Sonic angrily said
Moments later, Sonic begins revving up again and building up incredible speed. He continues to rev up until blue flames began to engulf him.
"Take this!"
Moments later, Sonic sends out a large shockwave towards Saber. Saber quickly jumps out of the way and goes to bring down her sword on Sonic.
"VANISH!"
Sonic quickly dodges out the way and performs a strong roundhouse kick behind Saber's head.
"Do you think I'm scared of you?! No, I am not! Do you know who I am?" Sonic said
"An annoying overconfident rodent!" Saber replied
Saber soon rushes toward Sonic and takes a big swing of her sword at Sonic and throws him into a mountain.
"Nngh... Okay... I should've seen that one coming.." Sonic said before falling onto the ground
"I've had enough you rodent. Allow me to send you to an early grave."
Saber begins to charge her Noble Phantasm as a large amount of mana begins building up into her sword.
"SONIC!" Mash cried out
Mash runs to Sonic's side and holds her shield out in front of them both.
"I won't allow you to kill him!" Mash shouted
"Foolish girl... Do you really plan to die alongside this pathetic creature?" Saber asks
"Of course I do! I wouldn't be alive right now had Sonic not come to help me... Since we have been here, he has fought by my side and encouraged when I doubted myself! As A Servant, I will protect my Master with my very life! We are an unstoppable team and we won't fall here!" Mash responded
"Hmmph... I admire your conviction and loyalty. Very well, I shall send you both to hell together." Saber responded
Moments later, Saber finishes charging up her Noble Phantasm.
"EXCALIBUR... MORGAN!"
seconds later, Saber fires off a large dark energy beam.
"Loooooord... CHALDEAS!"
Mash slams her Shield down as a large barrier forms over them both and blocks Excalibur Morgan.
"AAAAAAAHHHHHH!"
Sonic slowly get's up from the and grabs hold of Mash's Shied, pushing back against the attack with her.
"Come on bud! Let's show this Corrupt King the real power of teamwork!" Sonic said
"Understood MAster!"
Mash and Sonic both their stance and fight against the beam.
"-AAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!"
"-AAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!"
"Tch! My power's gotten weaker! That attack would have beaten the two of you easily!" Saber shock
"Sonic! Now's our chance!" Mash said
Mash grabs Sonic by the arm and tosses him in the air. Sonic lands beside Saber as he grabs Saber's sword from her grip and kicks her away. Sonic soon lunges at Saber and begins swinging the sword at her over and over very fast and leaving scratch marks around her dress and armour. Moments later, drops of Blood soon started to fall to the ground as Saber was starting to bleed.
"This is for everything that you tried to do to me! This is for trying to kill my friends! This is for making me who I am right now!" Sonic swinging and attacking Saber over and over
"Y-You bastard!" Saber shouted
"AHHHHHHH!"
Moments later, Sonic swings the sword at Saber and throws her at the mountain, hits it and falls onto the ground.
"So... This is my fate... A shame, I swore to defend the Holy Grail, and yet I once again meet the same end. You may have won this fight Caster, but then for the Holy Grail, the Grand Order, has only just begun...
"What the hell is that supposed to me?!" Caster said
"Eventually, you too will realize it, Ireland's Child of Light." Saber said before vanishing, alongside the sword Sonic was still holding
"Jey, wait! What do you mean by... Whoa! Oh crap, I am getting sent back too?"
"Hey Caster! What the heck is going on?!" Sonic said
"Since we beat Saber, the Holy Grail war is over and I'm being sent back to the Throne as well! What a rotten luck of time for this to happen... Listen, you two need to figure out what the hell is going on, I'm leaving it in your hands! If there's a next time, try to summon me as a Lancer!" Caster said before vanishing away as well
"Caster... We'll do our best! Thank you for all the help..." Mash said
"I'll try to summon you as fast as I can. Just wait for." Sonic said
"Confirming both Saber and Caster have vanished. Does that mean we've won?" Mash said
"Yes, you did a fine job, Mash, Sonic! The Director must be so, please... Hey, where's the Director?" Romani said
"Grand Order... How did that Servant know that name?" Olga said to herself
"Hey Olga, is something wrong?" Sonic asks
"Huh? O-Oh, right. Well done Sonic, Mash. Several points are unclear, but let's call this mission complete. First, let's retrieve that crystal. It's the reason Saber became abnormal... It's clearly the reason why Fuyuki City became a singularity." Olga said
'Yes. An immediate retrieval... What?"
"Well... Neve rin my days would I have ever figure something like this could happen? Who would thought this little Hedgehog intruder would have affected my plans this much?" A voice said
"What the?! who's there?! Show yourself right now! Too shy to show your face to us pal!" Sonic said
"Oh, I have absolutely nothing to from you Mr. Hedgehog. If anything, I'm quite impressed by you and what you have accomplished here." Lev appearing
"P-Professor Lev...? Is that you?!" Mash said
"Leff! He's alive?! I can't believe it, he's actually alive!" Romani said
"Ah... Romani you survived... I remember asking you to go to the command room and yet you disobeyed that order. How utterly sickening... Why is that you humans fail to die properly as you are destined to?" Leff said
"M-Master! Get back, please! I don't know... But this man isn't the same Professor Lev..." Mash said
"Something about jolly green giant here rubbed me the wrong way the first time I met him, but I'm certain now he's bad now..." Sonic said
"Leff... Oh, Leff! Leff! Thank god you're alive! I don't know what I was going to do if you died!" Olga running up the mountain to Leff's side
"Olga, wait!" Sonic shouted
"Director don't! That man is..."
"Ah, Director! I see even you managed to survive! You look like you've had quite the day my dear." Leff said
"Of course I have! The command room exploded, I got stuck here in this burning hellscape, and I've had to put up with this annoying blue Hedgehog! Today has been absolutely horrible! But... with you here now, maybe things will start o turn around for me..." Olga said
"I wouldn't hold your breath on that young lady... All these complications have started to really irritate me... But none have irritated me more than you. You were supposed to die in that explosion in the command room, yet here you are alive and well when you shouldn't be..." Leff said
"L-Leff... W-What's that supposed to mean? W-What are you talking about...?
"You shouldn't be alive right now. The only way you would have been able to rayshift here was because of your death, and yet you were still able to despite your physical body somehow still being alive. This is infuriating to no end... But, there are ways to deal with such irritation like this. Your physical body may be alive, but it is slowly dying as we speak. So why wait for the slow inevitable death, when we can just get rid of you here and now? A much quicker solution to the issue at hand!" Leff said
"Wh-What? I'll vanish? Wait... I can't return to Chaldea?"
"Indeed. But that's too sad of a story for you. Let me show you the fate of the Chaldea that you devoted your entire life to."
Moments later, the two teleport to an undisclosed location.
*?"

"It's real. I've connected the dimensions for you. Having the Holy Grail allows me to do so. Now behold, descendant of Animusphere. Gaze upon the fate of humanity as a whole! This is humanities future! All the bright burning red you see is all that remains! Not a single human shall survive when this future comes to pass! All of this is because of your failure Olga! Humanities destruction is all on your hands." Leff said
"No... No No! This isn't my fault! I didn't do this! What did you do to my Chaldeas you bastard?!" Olga said
"Your Chaldeas?" Don't be absurd you foolish child... I've grown tired of you, let us finally close the curtain on your little story."
"Wha... Something's pulling... W-What's going on? I feel like... I'm being pulled apart by space!" Olga said
"I told you my dear, this place is now connected to Chaldea. While killing you now would bring me much relief, I believe it would be graceful to allow you to take hold of your treasure in your last moments. Once you die here, your physical body will follow soon after." Leff said
"M-My treasure? Do you mean Chaldeas? But... if I attempt to even interact with this I'll-"
"That's right! it'll disintegrate you molecule by molecule! Infinite death feels like the proper way to send you off my dear Olga!" Leff said
"N-No... No no no! Please someone, anyone, save me! I-I don't want to die here! I haven't accomplished anything at all! I never got the praise I truly wanted! Why?! Why does this always happen to me?! No one ever loved me...! No one ever praised me...! I just wanted to do something worthy of being loved and praised! I just wanted to be accepted! Please! PLEASE, SOMEONE, SAVE ME!" Olga cried out
Moments later, Sonic appears as he rushed in at light speed, grabbing Olga into a bridal carry before she could make contact with Chaldeas and runs back to Mash's side.
"W-What... What happened...?" Olga said
Olga looks and realizes she is being carried by Sonic.
"S-Sonic...?"
"Don't worry Olga, you're safe now. No way I was going to let you die like that." Sonic said
"B-But... But why? Why would you go out of your way to save me? I-I treated you so horribly! We kept you captive! I called you a rat and rodent! Why would you go out of your way to save someone like me after I treated you like that?!" Olga said
"Simple really, no one deserves to die, especially not a horrible death like what he tried to do to you. Sure, we got off on the wrong foot in the beginning, but you're definitely not a bad person at all. Just someone that needs a friend by their side, and I can't be your friend if you're gone now can I?" Sonic responded
"*Starting to tear up* Y-You... Y-You... You stupid Hedgehog!" Olga said and hugging Sonic tightly
"Tch... You truly are a great annoyance Hedgehog. I regret letting my curiosity of your existence stop me from disposing of you earlier." Leff said
"I'd love to see how you would have done so bushy hair. Now, how about we cut the chit chat and settle this? Mano a Mano." Sonic taking a fighting stance
"As much as I would love to put an end to you, it would be a waste of Humanity as we know it has been incinerated. Chaldeas being dyed crimson was the sign of the end of all humanity. Killing you all here would serve no purpose other than my own satisfaction." Leff said
"Humanity has been incinerated? What do you mean?! is that why we can't contact help from the outside?!" Romani said
"Exactly my gear Romani! Chaldea is all that remains of humanity. Come 2019, Chaldea and all of you will cease to exist within human history! A shame, had you all not lost the grace of our king, you would get to see what the future has in store for you. But. I believe our time is up. It was a pleasure talking with you all, but I have obligations to attend to. The stability of this singularity has reached limit and you will all be swallowed by the dimensional; warp. Farewell Romani, Mash, Olga, and Mr. Sonic. Enjoy your final moments together." Leff said
"ROMAN! Emergency Rayshift now! Get us out of here quickly!" Olga commanded
"Already on it Director! But what will happen to you if we bring you back?! What if you die going back to your body?!" Romani asks
"Forget about that! I don't care what happens to me at this point... As long as Sonic and Kyrielight survive and make it back, that's all that really matters to me at this moment!" Olga responded
"Sonic... We're not going to make...!' Mash holding on to Sonic's hand
"Don't worry we'll make it through this. We can't this far, right? We won't lose to the creep just yet!" Sonic said
Sonic hold's Mash's hand tightly and reaches out Olga.
"We'll bring you back too, I promise!" Sonic said
"S-Sonic... *Grabs his hand and holds it tightly* I-I trust you...!" Olga said
*A While Later, Back At The Chaldea*
"Kyuu..."
"You are just the most adorable creature. Come here little squirrelly, come get yourself a nut, or are you a cat? I can't really tell anymore..." A female voice said
"Ugh... Ah jeez... What happened? I feel like I just punched through several layers of steel by Knuckle-head..." Sonic slowly waking up
Sonic slowly stood up from his bed and rubs forehead. As he was rubbing his head, he looks in front and notices a girl starring at him with a smile on her face.
"Ah! It seems our hero has finally woken up! Good morning Mr. Blue Blur, it seems like you had quite a restful sleep. The girl said
"Uhh... Y-Yeah... Yeah I did. Umm... Who are you exactly?" Sonic asks
"Ah right, this is the first time the both of us are actually meeting each other. Leonardo Da Vinci, one of the Servants summoned to assist Chaldea and its functions. A pleasure to meet you Sonic. Now, since you're finally awake, there's someone important waiting for you in the command room." Da Vinci said
"Someone important? Ah, you're probably talking about Mash right?" Sonic said
"Bingo! She's been waiting for you to wake up this entire time, so don't keep the poor girl waiting any longer. You've got a lot of work ahead of you Mr. hedgehog, I look forward to seeing what you'll bring to humanity." Da Vinci responded
"I'll be honest with you, I'm still not sure 100% what's going on, but something tells me I'll be sticking around longer than I thought I'll be. Anyway, I'll be on my way; don't wanna keep my partner waiting on me." Sonic said before dashing out of the room and towards the Command Room
*Command Room*
Sonic dashes into the room and skids to a halt.
"Morning everybody! The Hedgehog has entered the room!" Sonic said
"Good Morning Sonic! *Runs over to Sonic and hugs him tightly* I'm so relieved to see you're okay!" Mash excited to see Sonic once again
"Glad to see you're in on piece to pal! I don't know we got out of that mess, but I'm glad we did when we did." Sonic said
"Sorry to interrupt the reunion, but I have some things I need to discuss with you both. First off, Sonic, on behalf of everyone in Chaldea and humanity as a whole, I thank you for your help. You went out of your way to help us when you had no reason to, and for that, I thank you." Romani thanking Sonic for everything so far
"Hey, a Hedgehog's gotta do what a Hedgehog's gotta do. Can't just let innocent people die and get hurt now, can I? Speaking of which... where's Olga? Did she make it back here with us?" Sonic said
"She made it back but... She's currently in critical condition and hasn't woken up. That bomb under did massive damage to the lower half of her body, and we don't have enough medical supplies to treat all her injuries... I'm afraid she'll be in a come for a prolonged amount of time..." Romani explaining what happen to Olga
"Olga..." Sonic said
"I know you're worried Sonic... but we have bigger issues at hand. I looked into what Leff said and he's right. As it currently stands, Chaldea is all that remains of humanity. We can't contact the outside world at all, humanity as we know it is gone and we don't have much of a foreseeable future..." Romani said
"W-What are we going to do then? How can we save humanity and the future from just in here?" Sonic asks
"Talk a look at this. *directs Sonic and Mash attention's to Shiva* While our present and future are lost, our past is still intact. These seven singularities you see here had their history altered, these may be the direct causes to humanity's lost future."
"So, if we fix these singularities things like we did the one before, then we have a chance to save your guys' world and history?"
"In essence, it should be... Sonic, I know this is a lot to ask of you, especially since this isn't even your world or issue to deal with. But please, will you help us save our world? Will you help us save humanity's future?" Romani requested
"This may be one of my biggest adventures I'm ever going to have... and I'm in for it!" Sonic thought
"What kind of Hedgehog would I be if I just give up and abandoned you guys out of the blue like that? Of course, I'll help you guys!"
"Thank you! Thank you so much Sonic! Myself and the rest of the remaining staff will do our best to support you and Mash out there!" Romani thanking Sonic
"Thanks Roman! Well, looks like you and I will still get to be a team Mash. What do you say, partner, up for an adventure?" Sonic holding his fist out to Mash
"Of course! I'll fight along side you as long as I can Master! *Gives Sonic a fist bump* We're an unstoppable team after all!" Mash replied
"Then the mission is clear, go into the singularities, find the relics and grails, and restore humanity's future. You will be going up against servants from all throughout history, so you both will need to be ready for whoever or whatever stands in your way." Romani said
"I've already had a taste of what some of these Servants can do, so I say bring it on!" Sonic said
*Inside A Room*
Inside the room, Sonic was standing next to Olga's bed, watching her lay motionless with life-support hooked up to her.
"Olga... *grabs and gently holds her hand.*" Sonic said

"Don't worry bud... I'll take care of things while you're resting here. I'll save your world, and then I'll be sure to save you too. So hang tight and hold for me." Sonic said
