Moments later, several Servants began to appear around the room.
"Thank you for coming, my fellow Servants. I am your Master. You know why you were summoned, yes? Destruction and slaughter, those are your orders. If a city is revelling in spring, destroy it. if a town is celebrating spring, devastate it. No matter how evil or cruel, God will forgive your every transgression. Should He mete out punishment, that is fine in its own way. For this is no more than a means of proving God's existence and His love. Now, then, Gilles. Please bring him here." The female said
"As you wish."
"I trust you have not harmed him, Gilles?"
"No, of course not. Have you considered what you wish done with him?"

The bishop who told me with kind eyes, that I was going to be killed. Is now begging for his life! Oh... The sadness is making me want to cry. After all, that won't save anything. Your paper-thin faith won't reach the Heavenly Father. The belief that is light as a feather won't blossom anywhere. *At Chaldea*
"Fou? Kyu, fou? (Wake up Hedgehog! It's officially your first day as Master.)" Fou said
Fou shoves Sonic around as he was sleeping to try to wake him up. As Fou was shoving Sonic, Sonic slowly begins to open his eyes as he looks in front of him to see Fou next to him, trying to wake him up.
"*Yawning* Morning Fou. I see you're full of energy today." Sonic yawning
"Fou! Fou! (Wake up Hedgehog! Today will be a busy one and you have to be ready!)" Fou said
"I know... I know..." Sonic replied
Sonic slowly stood up from his bed and begins to stretch his body.
"I had the wildest dream last night, Fou." Sonic stretching his body
"Mew, fou! Kyau, kyau! (Oh really? Care to explain it me?)" Fou said
"W-Well... it's kinda complicated to explain it... But... it involves around chilli dogs..." Sonic said
Moments later, the door of Sonic's room opens as Mash walk's inside.
"Good morning, Senpai. It's finally time for the briefing... Eek!"
All of a sudden, Mash trips on Fou and falls to the ground.
"Kyuuuu..."
"I'm sorry, Fou, I couldn't get out of the way. Still, I'm glad to see you so full of energy in the morning. You too, Senpai. Did you sleep well last night?" Mash asks
"I slept like a baby last night. It's been a while since I ever slept on a bed. I'm mostly sleeping under trees back in my world." Sonic replied
"I'm glad to hear it. They say it takes talent to get a good night's sleep. I know you just woke up, but it's briefing time. We should hurry." Mash said
"I'll be right there. Just give me a few minutes to clean myself and I'll be right there." Sonic said while putting his red shoes on
*At The Command Room*
After finally cleaning himself, ready to start the day. Sonic and Mash both walk into the Command Room and are greeted by Romani.
"Good morning, Sonic. Did you sleep well?" Romani asks
"I slept very well last night." Sonic replied
"That's nice to hear. Now, let's get right to the briefing, then For starters... Oh right, let me go over what I want you to do again. First, the Investigation and correction of the Singularities. It is humanity's critical turning point in that era. If it were not for that, we could never have come as far as we have. It is the pivotal "event" in human history. You must travel to that era, investigate what it is, figure it out, and then correct it. Otherwise, 2019 will never come. Humanity will be extinct in 2018. That is your first objective. The basic principle of the upcoming operation. The operation's second objective is to Investigate the "Holy Grail." This is just my speculation, but the singularities must be relayed to the Holy Grail. The "Holy Grail" is a relic that can grant wishes. A vessel that contains tremendous amounts of magical energy. Leff probably got his hands on the Grail in some form and misused its power. Rather, it's impossible to travel through time and change the past without the Grail. Seriously. You will run into intel regarding the Grail during your investigation of the singularity. Even if you correct history, leaving the Grail will put us back to square one. You must either secure the Holy Grail or destroy it. Those are the two objectives of this operation. Is everything clear so far?" Romani said
"Everything you explained to us Roman is crystal clear. Fix these Singularities things and secure the "Holy Grail" from each one of them." Sonic replied
"Glad your following along... And now, there's one other thing I want to do in addition to the mission. That said, it's nothing major. It's for after you Rayshift to that era. I want you to find a leyline and make a summoning circle. Just like you did in Fuyuki. Unlike Fuyuki, we could probably make do as-is if it's just telepathic communication... But to transport supplies, it won't work without establishing a summoning circle. Just like before, once sets up her Noble Phantasm it will act as a catalyst and trigger the summoning circle. Once you do that, you can summon Servants at will. Of course, what you summon will probably be Servants closely tied to that time and place. So keep doing that to bolster your forces. Understood?" Romani said
"...Understood. Before all else, we'll try to establish a base camp first. What we'll need is a place to relax, a structure with a roof, a home to come back to. Right, Master?" Mash asks
"Well to be honest with you Mash. As I said not too long ago to you, I rather much prefer mostly resting outside the beautiful skies. But if we can find a home while in the Singularities, then I'll gladly rest in there as well. I'll be counting on you." Sonic responded
"H-Hearing you say that really means a lot to me. I know I'm still an inexperienced Servant, but you can count on me. I'll be giving it my all! Trust me, Sonic!" Mash said
"Now that's what I like to hear from you." Sonic said
"Kyuu!"
"Umhm. To see Mash, who's serious, quiet, and frankly, kind of mysterious, grow up to be such a fine lady..." Romani said
"Hey. get over yourself. How long are you gonna keep me waiting?" Da Vinci said
"Oops, you're right. You didn't show any interest so I forgot you were there. Allow me to introduce you, Sonic. He... no, she... er, it? Um, who? Sheesh. Standing there is CHaldea's pride and joy, the head of our Engineering Department, Leonardo. As you can tell, they are quite unusual. Of course, not a human... Let's not get into that. The reason being..."
"...A Servant. Senpai, this is incredible. This person is a Servant!" Mash surprise
"Oh, really? Very interesting if I do say so myself." Sonic replied
"Right you are~ I'm Chaldea's honorary tech advisor, I normally go by Leonard here But as you can see, I am the proud inventor of the Renaissance! The one-and-only Leonardo Da Vinci in the flesh! You can just call me Da Vinci. You don't get to see many pretty ladies like myself around here right?" Da Vinci asks
"I don't really care to be honest if your a man or a woman. As long as you are helping alongside us, then that's all it matters to me." Sonic responded
"I like the talk of that, Sonic. Of course, I'll be fighting alongside you. You can promise that." Da Vinci said
"This is strange. It's abnormal. It's wrong! I mean, Leonardo da Vinci should be a man..." Mash said
'You should always question conventional wisdom. But, is it really that important? Who was the first one that claimed I was a man or a woman? Sheesh, for crying out loud. I pursue beauty with both my inventions and art. It was I who personified all ideals... all beauty. To me, the ideal beauty is the Mona Lisa. That being the case... See? Isn't that simply an unavoidable result?"

"M-Mona who? Who exactly is this Mona Lisa person you speak of?" Sonic questioned
"What?! You never heard of the Mona Lisa before in your life, Sonic?!" Da Vinci surprised
"It's a long story, Leonardo. I already mentioned to you that he is from another world with a completely different history. So it's kinda understandable that he wouldn't know about Mona Lisa." Romani said
"Well, if we have time in the future... I'll explain everything to you, Sonic." Da Vinci promised
"Can't wait." Sonic replied
"Fou..."
"I like to think of myself as a scholar, but this guy's pet theories go way over my head. He's the only pervert twisted enough to turn himself into the Mona Lisa, just because he loves the Mona Lisa." Romani said
"Heh heh. Are you sure about that, Dr. Roman? As cultures mature, anything is possible. The desire to become a beautiful girl might one day be the norm." Da Vinci said
"I-I've never anyone in my life say they wanted to be a beautiful girl before," Sonic commented
"That might be true, but which time period's Heroic Spirit are you?" Romani said
"Genius has nothing to do with time period, Doctor. Sonic, you'd do well to remember that too. You will encounter many Heroic Spirits who were artists. Every one of them is as splendid and eccentric!" Da Vinci said
"Are you kidding me? Still, I can't see that being the case!" Romani said
"I see. It's true that I didn't want to know too much, but thank you for the advice, Da Vinci." Mash said
"That's my girl, you're always so understanding. Ok, that's enough for my introduction. From now, I will be focusing on supporting you with supplies, R&D within Chaldea, and updated Heroic Spirits' contracts. I am a Servant summoned by Chaldea, you see. Unlike Mash, I cannot jump to any era. However, if Sonic has a contract with me, then it would be another matter. I would then be able to aid you as an ordinary Servant. I'm looking forward to such a fate, Master." Da Vinci said before walking off
"Well... I guess Da Vinci is officially my second Servant." Sonic said
"...Wow, he really did introduce himself and run off. Now, as I was saying before I was interrupted... I'm sorry but we don't have time to rest. We're going to prep for immediate Rayshift, ok?" Romani said
"Wait wait wait, I know that I'm able to fight and take out things on my own. But I'm a Master and I don't have any other Servants other than Mash. Wouldn't it be kind of pointless for me to be a Master if I don't have any Servants?" Sonic asks
"Hmm... That's a very good question, Sonic." Romani replied
"I'll figure something out once you return from your mission, got it? Besides, you look like the type of Hedgehog who can take down any Servant. No matter how powerful they are." Da Vinci said
"Sounds good to me," Sonic said
"Yea, you just became a Master so let's just relax for now and deal with other things Master related things later, okay? Now then, Sonic, we have a coffin ready for you this time. You should be able to Rayshift safely and quickly now. Seven singularities have been detected, but we've selected the time period with the smallest fluctuations. Once you get there, we'll be able to communicate with you. Got it? I know I'm repeating myself, but the first thing is to set up a camp and finding a leyline. "Here we go!" Sonic said
Moments later, Sonic, Mash, began teleporting away to their first Singularity.
*Orleans, 1431 AD*
Sonic looks around his surroundings and notices the beautiful open green field and beautiful cloudy sky around him.
"Man, this feels like I'm back home once again. I can totally rest under here." Sonic looking around
"...Sigh. We managed to reach here safely, Senpai We were teleported by accident last time. This time it's a proper teleport via the Coffin with no physical anomalies" MAsh said
"Fou! Fou! Fou! (Looks like I'll be with you guys again.)" Fou said
"Hey, it's Fou. Great to have you again, Fou." Sonic rubbing Fou's head
"fou? Did you tag along again?" Mash asks
"Fou... kyuu, kyao... (I sure did!)" Fou said
"It's kinda interesting... Can Fou Rayshift too?" Sonic asks
"...Seems that way. He must've sneaked into mine or Senpai's Coffin. Luckily, Fou was unharmed. Since he is attached to one of us, when we return he will automatically return as well." Mash said
"In that case, welcome aboard once again, Fou." Sonic said
"Master. I have confirmed the time axis coordinates. Looks like it's the year 1431. It means we're in the middle of the Hundred Years' War. But this should be during the war's respite period." Mash said
"Hundred Years War? What's that about? Did they really fight every day for 100 years?" Sonic asks
"Not really as the name implies. The war during this era was pretty carefree, relatively speaking. Captured knights were released for monetary payments almost every day... Senpai?"
"Ummm... Look at the sky." Sonic looking up
"What is... *Looks up at the sky* Huh?"
"Yes, we're connected! Not the best quality, but I've got video feed now too! Wait, what's wrong you two? Both of you staring at the sky like that." Romani said
"Doctor, I'll send you visuals. What is that?"
Mash sends visuals to Romani to analyze what Sonic and Mash were looking at up at the sky.
"This is... A ring of light... No, some form of magecraft cast over the satellite orbit? In any case, it's gigantic. At worst, it's as big as North America? Hmmm, records show such phenomena occurring in 1431." Romani said
"If you didn't say that just now... I might've thought that huge thing was probably just something that actually was here during the year 1431." Sonic commented
"It's surely one of the reasons for the disappearance of our future. We'll have to analyze it on our end... You guys concentrate on surveying onsite. Start be searching for leylines." Romani said
"What the Doctor said. Explore the area, make contact with the people of this era, set up the summoning circle, there are many things to do. We have to knock them out one at a time. Let's first move towards a city, Senpai."
"Yea, let's just get going. Besides, that thing isn't hurting us anyway." Sonic said
*Later*
"Senpai, stop. Confirming... Looks like a French scout brigade. What do we do? Should we attempt to make contact?" Mash asks
"Well, I don't trust that. It could be dangerous. We don't who's good or bad." Sonic replied
"They look like humanoids. I'm sure we can come to a peaceful resolution. Hello, excuse me. We are travellers..."

"?"
"Fou?"
"Um, mister... This young lady asked you kindly for something and you decided to ignore her? What's wrong with you, dude? Did your mother never taught you how to respect others?" Sonic said
"*Speaking In French* Eek! Enemy attack! Enemy attack!"
Moments later, soldiers all began taking out their swords.
"Again... why does everything have to go downhill whenever I'm around?" Sonic commented
"Yoo-hoo, I'm free now so lemme see how you're... Wait, why are you surrounded by an armed group?" Romani said
"...I apologize. My mistakes. I should've greeted them in French." Mash said
"No, it was my mistake. I decided to talk smack to one of them." Sonic said
"Either way, I believe that combat is unavoidable." Mash said
"You're starting with a fight? With French elites, even! W-Well, let's calm down first! That world Is isolated. No matter what happens, a time paradox can't occur. So engaging them won't be a problem, but..."
"Doctor, give us an idea. Don't you know any French jokes for times like this?"
"Hell if I know, I'm a loner! But wait, let me think... I just need to think of a witty home, right? Like "knock, knock!"
"I'm hearing a silly voice from somewhere... All hands, ready your weapons! They're too suspicious!"
"I apologize, Senpai. It was wrong of me to expect something from the Doctor. I think it would be bad to harm the locals. We should attack to hold them back!" Mash said
"I have another idea, Mash. Don't worry. Let me handle this." Sonic said
"W-What are you doing, Sonic?" Romani said
Mash, do something for me and slam your shield onto the ground and hold it on tightly. And you Fou *Picks up Fou and places him on top of his head* hang on tight. Things are about to get wild." Sonic said
"O-Oh, sure. *slams her shield onto the ground as she gets it stuck into the ground and holds on tightly to it* W-What are you doing, Senpai?" Mash asks
"Fou! Fou! (What is the meaning of this blue?)" Fou said
"Just watch and learn. Hey helmet dudes... It's time for flying training!" Sonic said
Moments later, Sonic begins to spin around in circles very fast as he builds up a massive windy tornado around him. Soon after, the tornado begins to lift up all of the soldiers around Sonic as they were all spinning around with the tornado. Mash was also being lifted by the tornado as well but was holding on tightly to her shield that she stuck on to the ground.
"SENPAI, PLEASE! STOP! THIS IS TOO MUCH!" Mash shouted
"FOU! FOU! (BLUE STOP!)" Fou shouted
A few seconds later, the tornado burst as the soldiers were all launched away from the three in different directions. Mash then soon falls to the ground while Fou was lying down on Sonic's head, dizzy.
"That was TIGHT! Did you see that, Mash?! Does guys didn't stand a chance against that tornado." Sonic said
"G-Good job, Master... Not a single blood drop." Mash on the ground shocked at what just happened
"Fou... Fou... (I... feel like I'm going to pass out...)" Fou dizzy
Moments later, a sword from one of the soldiers lands in front of Sonic and get's stuck on the ground.
"Hello, what do we have here? *Pulls the sword out of the ground and looks at it* Oh yea, I'll be using you for the rest of my time here." Sonic said
Soon, a sword scabbard falls and lands in front of Sonic as well.
"*Bends down and picks up the scabbard* Today is my lucky day. *Puts sword inside the scabbard and carries it with his left hand.* Come on Mash, we gotta continue on. We have a singularity to save." Sonic looking at Mash
"D-Do you know where they even came from?" Mash asks
"No, I do not. But will figure out a way to reach our next stop." Sonic said
