"I'm off to settle the score with the "Dragon Witch," Jeanne said
"Master, we'll head out there too. We should leave this place to the other Servants, and track the "Dragon Witch!" Mash said
"You're right, let me handle this. Take Kiyohime and Elizabeth with you." Siegfried said
"Very well. I look forward to working with you, Master." Kiyohime said
"That's fine, but... Why us?" Elizabeth asks
"Her Noble Phantasm hurts my ears... And Kiyohime breathes fire on anyone, friend or foe... but not Master..." Siegfried thought
"Both of their Noble Phantasms..." Georgios thought
"Elizabeth's is the worst Noble Phantasm in the world, I'm sure of it." Amadeus thought
"?"
"Huh?"
"I'm sure it isn't something that bad you two. *Places hands-on Kiyohime and Elizabeth's shoulders* Besides... you two will be the first to witness our victory." Sonic trying to comfort them
"Ahem. L-let's go, you two!" Mash said
*With Jeanne Alter And Gilles*
"Fafnir has. Without it, the other wyverns."
"I'm aware. Let us summon a new Servant." Jeanne Alter said
"Indeed!"
"Gilles, defend me while I focus on the summoning. I'm counting on you."
"Understood. I'll use my Noble Phantasm, Prelati's Spellbook, to buy us time. Use that time to summon us a powerful Servant that will take down that rodent for good. Perhaps King Arthur?" Gilles said
"I can't imagine an English knight answering my summons... But I'll see what I can do. Good luck." Jeanne Alter replied
"Indeed Jeanne, I pray that the light of your glory is not tainted," Gilles said
*With Sonic And The Others*
"Let us hurry! If we're too slow, she'll summon another Servant!" Jeanne said
"I-I know that! but you, this castle's kind of nice... It's kind of my style, you know?" Elizabeth said
"So you're saying that it's awful?" Sonic asks
"Indeed, all this blood. They don't organize, they don't clean... how filthy. Only a bloodthirsty barbarian would prefer a place like this." Kiyohime said
"...Y-You're right! This is bad, isn't it!" Elizabeth replied
"Master, enemies! Let's finish them quickly!" Mash shouted
"Here we go!" Sonic said
Sonic curls into a ball and begins to build up speed. Kiyohime quickly breaths out fire at Sonic as he now is engulfed in flames. Moments later, Sonic spins dashes towards the three zombies as he hits the first one and goes through it, cutting it in half as the body parts fell through the ground before turning to ash and vanishing away. Sonic then bounces off the castle's wall as he headed towards the second zombie and rips its head off its body as it falls to the ground and rolls right in front of Elizabeth. Elizabeth raises her foot and stops on the zombie's head, exploding on impact and causing blood to explode on the ground. Sonic soon lands right back with the group as the third zombie continues running after them. Mash rushes past the group as she swings her shield across her and throws the zombie back, falling to the ground. Moments later, Jeanne and Elizabeth both charge at the zombie as they jump right at it and stab their spears through the zombie's stomach and slicing it in half as blood spews on the ground before vanishing away. Moments later, three more zombies appear and ran full speed at the group once again. Sonic, Elizabeth, Kiyohime, Mash, and Jeanne all charge at the three zombies as Kiyohime breaths out fire at the first zombie, engulfing it with flames as it screams in pain.
"Whoops, there's a Servant up ahead! Be careful!" Romani said
"Well, well, long time no see," Gilles said
"Umm... Who are you?" Sonic asks
"Gilles!"
"Who knew you'd defeat Fafnir, and show yourself here in Orleans... To be honest, I am impressed. Especially with you, animal! Very good job. However! However! Oh, my saint! And your comrades! Why do you stand in my way? You come into my world destroying everything and now you're even trying to skill Jeanne d'Arc!" Gille shouted
"I had a question about that. Giles de Rais, is she really "me?" Jeanne asks
"...What? What-what-what unforgivable blasphemy! Even the Saint would despair and rage to hear such a thing! That is, without a doubt, the true Jeanne d'Arc. It is the darkness hidden within her!" Gilles replied
"I see. Then as the light, I must face her."
"Jeanne, I won't let anyone stop me... even you!"
"Oh, she won't defeat you. Instead, I will." Sonic said
Moments later, several zombies appear and ran towards the group at full speed. Sonic takes out his sword from the scabbard and lunges right towards the zombies at high speed as he stops in front of the first one and swings a powerful sword attack at it, cutting it in half and falling to the ground before vanishing away. Kiyohime lunges forward as she breaths out fire at the hoard of zombies coming towards Sonic and are engulfed in flames as the cries of zombies echo through the castle. Moment s later, the zombies turn into ashes and make piles on the ground in front of the group and vanish away soon after. Moments later, a larger group of zombies appear and all ran towards Sonic and the group.
"We can handle this!" Mash shouted
"But their numbers are great... Why you!" Jeanne said
"Never mind that what's with this giant starfish? Oh gross, this weird liquid is dripping onto my clothes! Dripping!" Elizabeth shouted
"So filthy. Master, please protect me." Kiyohime said
"Y-You just took down several zombies and you're already backing out already?! Just do your job as a Servant, okay?" Mash said
"Huh? This roar..."
Moments later, a hoard of wyverns appears as well.
"Enemy sighted! This time it's a wyvern?" Mash confuse
"Keez. How'd it fit inside this tiny castle?'" Kiyohime said
"Everyone, stay back! I got this!" Sonic said
"Very well," Kiyohime said
"Finish them off, Sonic!" Jeanne said
Soon, everyone gets behind Sonic as he gets into a combat stance and begins to charge his sword up. The zombies and wyverns continue to run towards the group as Elizabeth begins to get worried.
"U-Um... Any second now?" Elizabeth worried
"Master, what are you doing? We don't have time to stand and think about life!" Mash said
"Any second now..." Sonic said
The zombies and wyverns were now closer to the group and were about to finish them off until Sonic proceeded to perform a series of rapid slashes, releasing blue-coloured shockwaves at the zombies and wyverns. The shockwaves completely tore down the army of wyverns and zombies as they were getting sliced in half from the shockwaves and body parts falling to the ground. Jeanne, Kiyohime, Elizabeth, and Mash all watch in awe as they see the shockwaves taking down their enemies in front of them easily.
"Amazing," Kiyohime said
"N-Not bad, I guess... I guess I been treating this Master a little too harsh." Elizabeth said
"So amazing... I have never seen anyone perform a skill like that before. You truly are an amazing fighter, Sonic... I mean... Master." Jeanne said
"You truly are one of a kind, Master," Mash said
Eventually, the shockwaves died down as all the wyverns and zombies fall to the ground and vanished away in front of the group. Leaving Gilles on his own now.
"That will teach them a lesson!" Sonic said
"Impossible! Curse you, curse you, curse you! In that case, take me on! My comrade Prelati... Grant me your power!" Gilles shouted
"Gilles... I shall release your soul!" Jeanne shouted
"Let's go! Master, your orders!" Mash said
"...Take 'em down..." Sonic replied
Moments later, Elizabeth and Sonic begin running towards Gilles at full speed with their weapons ready. Gilles fires energy projectiles at the two but both manage to evade the oncoming projectiles. Elizabeth then jumps in the air and strikes Gilles several times with her weapon, dealing damage to him. Moments later, she charges up and unleashes several stronger attacks right at Gilles and tearing some parts of his clothes before jumping back away from him. Moments later, Sonic skids in front of Gilles as he holds the sword with both hands and swings his sword right at Gilles, slashing him across and knocking him back away from Sonic. Gilles quickly regains his balance as he fires powerful projectiles right at Sonic. Mash quickly runs in front of Sonic as she holds out her shield in front of her and blocks the powerful projectiles but is pushed back due to the force of the projectiles.
"...Ugh!"
"Ugh! As powerful as expected... I couldn't finish him off!" Mash said
"We'll hold off this Servant! Master, you go on ahead!" Kiyohime said
"Right, go settle the score with the last boss!" Elizabeth said
"*Nods at both of them* Thank you for everything, I promise I'll summon you two very soon once this thing is finally taken care of." Sonic replied
"Thank you for your support! Jeanne!" Mash said
"..."
"*Notices Jeanne not saying anything* Jeanne?" Sonic said
"I-I'm sorry. It's nothing. I'm going. Thank you both!" Jeanne said
"Jeanne, what was bothering you just now?" Mash asks
"Oh no, there was something on my mind... It's nothing important. Anyway, it's time to confront the "Dragon Witch." There shouldn't be anything in our way. Let's go!"
"...I promise I'll see you in the future again. Now then, come on Mash and Jeanne! Let's go take down Dark Jeanne." Sonic said
"Understood!" Mash replied
*It All Comes Down To This*
A few minutes later, Sonic kicks a door open and notices Jeanne Alter inside alone, staring at them.
"Did you miss us?" Sonic asks
"...That was faster than I thought. I don't have time to modify the spell..." Jeanne Alter said
"Dragon Witch."
"So you finally made it here, huh? Gilles is... alive, but delayed. I suppose that's fine. Everything is ready." Jeanne Alter said
"Tell her what she needs to hear. That was Marie's instruction to me. I have another thing to ask of you as well." Jeane said
"It's too late for talking..."
"It's a very simple question. DO you remember your family?" Jeanne asks
"...Huh?"
"Jeanne?"
"W-What are you doing?" Sonic asks
"I asked you a simple question. No matter how vivid my memories of battle are, I remember far more of my life as a simple country girl. Even my dark side should remember those peaceful days. No, its precise because e she remembers them... that the hatred and betrayal brought her such pain." Jeanne said
"I... I..."
"You don't remember, do you?"
"What... what doe sit matter? Whether I remember or not, I'm still Jeanne d'Arc!" Jeanne Alter shouted
"That's right. It doesn't matter whether you remember. But this settles it. I shall defeat the "Dragon Witch" with sadness, not anger."
"My Servants!"
Moments later, shadow Servants began to appear in front of Mash, Sonic, and Jeanne.
"There are... The Servants we saw in Fuyuki! And so many of them!" Mash said
"I didn't have time to summon a normal Servant, but I summon as many of these as I like., Crush them!"
"Master, they're coming!" Mash shouted
"..."
"Master?"
"*Slowly raises his hand up as the green Chaos Emerald appears on his hand* Remember this?" Sonic asks
"The green gem!" Jeanne Alter shock
"Heh... *Raises his arm up as the Chaos Emerald begins to glow bright* Let me show you how you really use it!" Sonic said
Moments later, Sonic's sword begins glowing bright green as a green aura begins to surround his body. Sonic then opens his eyes as his pupils began to glow bright green as well.
"Impossible! Who are you?!" Jeanne Alter shock
"...My name is Sonic The Hedgehog... The world's fastest Hedgehog who likes to go on adventures and save the world from evil like you." Sonic said
"Y-You bastard! Kill him, my Servants!" Jeanne Alter shouted
The first shadow Servant fires dark energy projectiles right at Sonic. Sonic raises his sword and swings It across him with a single slash, destroying the energy projectiles in front of him and exploding moments later. Soon, Sonic lunges at the Servant performs a low-hitting sword stab at the Servant, and then with a rigid lifting of his arm, a rising sword slash that sends the Servant up to the air. Sonic then jumps right at the Servant and homes up to them at incredible speeds and delivers a hasted combo of lighting fast and very powerful slashes with his sword. Everyone all watch as Sonic was completely owing to the Servant with this unknown power source he was obtaining. Several later, Sonic throws one final attack at the Servant and sends it to the castle's wall as it made a huge falling down soon and vanishing away. The second Servant charges at Sonic from behind and attacks him with his claws but Sonic quickly turns and blocks the attack from the Servant and pushes him back away from him. Moments later, Jeanne rushes in and strikes the Servant with strong attacks around its body, causing heavy damage to the Servant and throwing the Servant away from her soon after. Mash then jumps right at the Servant and slams her shield downright the Servant's head and knocks them down to the ground as they lay there motionless before vanishing away. Seconds later, two more Servants appear as one of the Servants fires a series of dark energy arrows right at Mash. Mash notices the arrows aiming towards her and quickly blocks the arrows from hitting her. Sonic rushes toward the Servant and does a forward uppercut at the Servant's stomach and throws them at the air. Sonic then hops into the air and strikes at the Servant with his sword over his shoulder and throws the Servant at the ceiling, hitting it before falling back down on the air and falling to the ground soon after before vanishing. The other Servant lunges at Sonic from behind and strikes Sonic but Sonic dodges the attack without looking and leans backwards and via-reverse stabs his sword into the Servant's feet before following up with a quick heel slam, with chaos energy covering his foot and knocking the Servant to the wall and hitting it. Mash grabs the shadow Servant and using her strength, throws them right at Jeanne. Jeanne spins her spear and quickly strikes the Servant through the face and stabbing them. Vanishing away soon after.
"Ugh... So they broke through that swarm?" Jeanne Alter said
"we're going to settle this right now. "Dragon Witch"..."
"Shut up! Let's fight! Will despair win, or will hope to win... Will murderous intent win, or will pity win? Let's see if you can surpass me... Jean-"
All of a sudden, Sonic dashes right at Jeanne ALter and releases two crossing pikes of chaos energy right at Jeanne Alter. Jeanne Alter quickly dodges it and jumps away from the three. Moments later, Jeanne Alter lunges right at Sonic as the two began clanging their weapons at each other over and over, causing shockwaves that shook the castle. As the two were battling each other, Jeanne jumps right at Jeanne Alter and strikes her several times with her spear and knocks her back away from Sonic. Jeanne Alter quickly regains her balance as she charges up to gain extra power. Moments later, Jeanne Alter fires dark energy shockwaves at the two but Mash quickly gets in front of the two and blocks the shockwaves coming from Jeanne Alter. However, the shockwaves were strong as they knock Mash back and falls to the ground. Jeanne Alter quickly lunges right at Sonic and strikes him multiple times at him with her spear but Sonic, however, crouches down and performs a low turning sweep kick right at Jeanne Alter and knocks her down to the ground. Moments later, Sonic then grabs Jeanne Alter's arm and pulls her back up and knees her at her chin and sending her flying away and hitting the wall of the castle. Jeanne Alter falls to the ground as he looks and notices Jeanne and Sonic running towards her. Jeanne Alter quickly gets back up as fires dark energy shockwaves towards the two. Sonic grabs Jeanne's arm and using Hyper Senses, both run through the shockwaves easily. Jeanne Alter's eyes widen as she watches Jeanne and Sonic run through the shockwave as Jeanne strikes Jeanne Alter several times with spear around her body before knocking her back. Moments later, Sonic homes up to Jeanne Alter at incredible speeds and delivers a hasted combo of lightning-fast and powerful slashes with his sword. At the end of the combo, the force from the attack soon after throws Jeanne Alter away for Sonic and Jeanne.
"What? Im-Impossible. Ridiculous. This can't be happening. It's a lie. Because I... have the Holy grail! The owner of the Holy Grail knows no defeat. that's how it should be!" Jeanne Alter said
"Oh, Jeanne! Jeanne! What a pitiful sight you are!"
"Gilles..."
"But now that I, Gilles de Rais, am here you can rest. Now then, sleep in peace." Gilles said
"But... I still haven't... I haven't destroyed France..."
"I will take care of that. Leave everything to me. Don't worry. You will never die. You're just a little... a little tired. Close your eyes, and rest. When you awake, I'll have finished everything." Gilles said
"Yes, yes you're right. Gilles... if you'll fight for me, I can rest, and..."
Jeanne Alter vanishes away soon after.
"..."
"So that's how it ended up, after all."
"You have a powerful intuition," Gilles said
"Oh, there she is!" Elizabeth appearing once again
"To think that you'd make a sudden run for it..." Kiyohime said
"You two! I'm so glad you guys are alright!" Sonic said
"Um, Jeanne? What exactly..."
"It wasn't the "Dragon Witch" who possessed the Holy Grail. No, actually that Servant, never existed in the Throne of Heroes. As long as she wasn't an aspect of my darkness, there was no other conclusion I could make. then how did she acquire that massive strength? That couldn't have been anything but the Holy Grail. In other words, the Dragon Witch herself..."
"Exactly. The Dragon Witch herself was my wish. In other words, the Holy Grail itself." Gilles respond
"What?"
"Huh? Huh? HUh? What do you mean? The Dragon's the Holy Grail? then me, too?" Elizabeth said
"You dragon-dummy, Jeannee d'Arc didn't use the Grail for evil."
"You... created Jeanne d'Arc with the power of the Grail, didn't you?" Jeanne said
"My wish was to revive you. It was a wish from my heart, from the bottom of my heart. Of course, it was. but the Grail rejected me. for all its omnipotent power, it said it couldn't do that! But my wish was only for you! So I created a new yoU! The Saint I believed in! the Siant I longed for! I created her! Jeanne d'Arc... the Dragon Witch. The Grail itself!" Gilles shouted
"...I see. But of course, she never learned that, did she? Gilles, even if you could revive me, I would never become your Dragon Witch. It's true that I was betrayed, it's true that I was mocked. It could only be described... as a tragic end. But I could never hate my homeland. This is where you and the others lived."
"...So kind. Your words are far too kind. However, Jeanne... Your kindness has made you forget one thing. Even if you never hated this country... I HATED THIS COUNTRY! I swore I would destroy it for its betrayal!"
"Gilles..."
"You will forgive them I'm sure. But I never will! Not God! Not the King! Not the nation! I'll destroy them all. I'll kill them all. That is the wish I made upon the Grail! DO NOT GET IN MY WAY, JEANNE D'ARC!"
"Yes, you're right. You're absolutely right. It makes perfect sense for you to hate, and for you to use the Grail's power to destroy France. And I... I will top you. As a Ruler, the judge of the Holy Grail war. I will stand in your way, Gilles de Rais!" Jeanne said
"Then you're my enemy now. Let's us finish this Jeanne d'Arc, saviour of France!"
"Let us indeed!"
"Master, I've confirmed the presence of the Grail. Your orders!" Mash said
"*Raises his sword with chaos energy* Let's finish this," Sonic said
"Understood! Moving to recover the Grail! Mash Kyrielight... here I go!"
Moments later, Mash, Jeanne, Kiyohime, Elizabeth, and Sonic all began charging at Gilles at full speed. Gilles fires extremely powerful energy projectiles at all 5 of them very fast but Sonic quickly throws his sword like a frisbee and destroys all the energy projectiles as they all explode in the air. Kiyohime breaths out fire at Gilles as he's engulfed in flames, dealing damage to him. Elizabeth lunges at Gilles and strikes him several times with her spear and knocks him away from her. Soon after, Jeanne charges up to gain more power and unleashes multiple strike attacks at Gilles, causing extreme damage towards Gilles. As Jeanne was attacking Gilles, Sonic dashes at Gilles with his leading hand engulfed with Chaos energy. Punching him square in the face and throwing him to the wall of the castle. Mash runs up to Gilles and slams her shield right at Gilles who is on the ground and knocks him back to the other four. Kiyohime and Elizabeth both lunge and Gilles and were about to attack him until Gilles fires projectiles right at more of them and throws them to the castle wall where they both hit it and fall to the ground. Sonic notices the two getting hit by Gilles as he raises his hand with the emerald and heals both Elizabeth and Kiyohime. Moments later, Sonic somersaults right at Gilles with his sword and slashes him many times as blood begins to spew out of Gilles. During the somersault attack, Jeanne quickly jumps right at Gilles as she stabs her spear right on Gilles's side and throws him to the ground soon after. Moments later, Sonic aims his sword at Gilles below and falls down and stabs his sword right at Gilles before jumping away from him.
"*The Chaos Energy Flowing Around Sonic Dies Down, Returning back to his normal form* It's all over..." Sonic said
"Not, possible! Even with the power of the Grail, I still... fell... that's not possible! Such nonsense can't be true! I-I am still..."
"Gilles. Enough. Get some rest. You did such a good job. Believing in a little girl who has no clue, you even liberated this town. No matter who you are now, I believe in who you were back then. Don't worry. Until the very end, I have no regrets. My death will light the way for someone else. That's all I ever wanted. Now let's go back to the time where we belong."
"...Jeanne. I'm the only one of us who go to Hell..." Gilles said before vanishing away
"The Grail recovery is complete! The timeline restoration is about to start! Rayshoift preparations are ready! Get back here, now!" Romani said
"Understood Doctor!"
"Well... I guess it's time for us to go..." Sonic said
"You're leaving? So soon?" Jeanne asks
"*A little heartbroken* ...Jeanne... I can't stay here forever, you know... I need to head back..." Sonic replied
"Oh do you? Hmmph... Well, I've achieved my goal, so I suppose it's fine. Goodbye Little Blue, you fought very well." Elizabeth saying goodbye
"...Oh my, this is goodbye? Don't worry Master. I can be rather persistent. No matter where you go, I'll follow. That's what love is, after all. You know? Farewell." Kiyohime saying goodbye
Moments later, Kiyohime and Elizebeth vanish away in front of Sonic.
"*Begins to tear up* Don't wait for me too long, I'll make sure I'll summon you two and we could continue on our adventure!" Sonic said
*With Siegfried And Georgios*
"...It seems that everything is over. The wyverns are disappearing." Siegfried said
"This wasn't exactly a normal Holy Grail War. But still, it was an honour to fight with the Dragon Slayer." Georgios said
"I never thought I'd get a chance to fight with the famous St. Geroge." Siegfried said
"But from the look of things, it won't be long before we're summoned again."
"Yes, that MAster's journey seems to be a long one. I hope we can aid them again..."
Moments later, Siegfried and Georgios vanish away.
"My role is finally over, huh? I'm so tired. I worked so hard my butt hurts. Oh, I'm not supposed to make these sorts of jokes. Sorry. Excellent conduction nonetheless, Sonic. A master full performance all around." Amadeus said before vanishing away
*Back With Sonic*
"Jeanne!"
"Gilles!"
"What happened? Wait, you're alive? France is in ruins, but... If you're alive, that's enough!" Gilles said
"...No, that's not true."
"What?"
"I'm sure on some level you understand. This world is nothing but an ephemeral dream. I died, and you... sorrowed. That is history. This is unchangeable fate." Jeanne said
"Jeanne..."
"But in a different form, in a different way, we'll be able to fight together... I can feel it. So this is but a temporary goodbye." Jeanne said
"You truly are... No, even in death, you still care for this country... Forgive us, Jeanne d'Arc! We... France betrayed you! Ooooohh!" Gilles said
"It's all right. Let's at least leave his world with a smile." Jeanne said
"Master... It's time." Mash said
"I know... it's time for us to head back.." Sonic said
"Master and Mash. I expect that my meeting with you Mash, and Sonic, our battles, even the lives we lost... All of this will disappear, won't it? That makes me a little sad. Of course, it's a joyous thing that lives lost will return to us. But I feel like I'll meet you again somewhere. My intuition can be pretty good, you know? Farewell. Moments later, Mash and Sonic begin teleporting back to Chaldea.

"Welcome back Mash, Sonic! Good work! Thanks to you, the first Grand Order was completed successfully. yes, excellent job. We had few supplies, no personnel... and the Rayshift was still at an experimental stage, yet you both did such a fine job. I say this on behalf of all surviving members of Chaldea... You are now full-grown Mages, and Chaldea is very proud of you!" Romani said
"Another successful journey completed!" Sonic stretching his arms
"Fou! Fouuuuu! (You should be proud blue. Even though you are from another world. You still managed to come out victorious!)" Fou said
"Thanks, Fou! I'm always up for more adventures, no matter where I am." Sonic replied
"...Fou made it back too. Are we sure it's not a lucky animal of some sort?"
"Oh, welcome back. You look pretty tired Mash. Here are your latest observation records. Take a look, Doctor." Da Vinci said
"Hm... Ooooohh! We did it! 15th century France is restored completely! Still, six to go, but... Part of human history is in its rightful place! We did it, Sonic!" Romani said
"Yes. But Doctor... we never saw Leff Lynor. He was not in France?" Mash said
"Yes, he's probably hiding in one of the other 6 eras. No, I guess he wouldn't hide. he has more than enough power. If he's in the same time as us, he'll act. I'm sure we'll see him eventually. Until then, we need to get stronger." Romani said
"Don't worry, I'm already prepared for when we see that old jolly green again. *Holds up the Green Chaos Emerald*" Sonic said
"Whoa! What is that?" Romani asks
"It's a Chaos Emerald. With this, I'm able to use a variety of new skills that you have probably never seen before. This Emerald can power up many things with just its energy and such." Sonic briefly explains the Chaos Emerald
"Amazing... Can I see it?" Romani asks
"Sure thing! *Hands over the Emerald to Romani and analyzes it*"
"Amazing! Did these things come from your own world?"
"They must've teleported here as well when I came here. However, I need to a little thinking. There are seven in total and I just found one in our first adventure. "*Gives 2 boxes to Sonic* You may want to start summoning Servants in the meantime." Da Vinci said
