Septem (Part 3)
*Let's Continue Where We Left Off*
After getting everything ready to start their adventure. Nero, Sonic, Mash, Kiyohime, Medusa, and Martha headed their way to their next destination as they were passing through a forest while horse-backing. Though Sonic was the only one without a horse and the only one walking alongside the others.
"Sonic, you're not going on horseback?" Nero asks
"It's fine... Even though I rode on horses before... I prefer the usual walking and running." Sonic replied
"You horse backed before, Senpai? I never knew that." Mash said
"Yea, but times like those are always rare for me. So it isn't all the time I horseback." Sonic replied
"I would love to see you horseback right now if that's okay with you," Nero said
"It's okay, I rather have you guys horseback and have you guys rest a little before our next battle," Sonic replied
"Oh come on, Sonic. I actually wanna see how you horseback." Romani said
"Doctor... don't try to force Senpai into doing things for your own entertainment," Mash replied
"Come on, Mash. Seeing Sonic horse backing is a one-of-a-kind thing for all of us to witness. Hold! I am detecting life ahead. Not a Servant, but I think it's an enemy." Romani said
"Mhm, Mhm. The invisible mage is quite convenient. Faster than my scouts. If you may, please consider becoming my Court Mage." Nero said
"Gulp. Royal service... A promotion?" Romani shock
"...Doctor."
"No, no, I was just kidding. How could I ever accept royal service? Anyway, here they come! Flanking from left and right! Prepare for immediate combat!" Romani commands
"Right, we'll get rid of them! Sonic, I'll leave the right side to you!" Nero commands
"Actually, I'll leave both sides for you," Sonic replied
"You're going to fight from both sides? That's crazy if you think you can defeat them on your own!" Nero said
"Hehe... Watch and learn Nero. Mash, Medusa, Kiyohime, and Martha. I'll be right back." Sonic said
"Understood, Senpai," Mash replied
"They're all yours, Master," Medusa replied
"Try not to hurt yourself..." Martha replied
Sonic soon after dashes away to the left side of the forest as he begins fighting the enemy soldiers. Mash, Nero, and the Servants all heard noises of the soldiers coming deep inside the forest as they were battling Sonic and were struggling to battle Sonic due to his speed. Several seconds pass by as soldiers soon appear in front of the group and hit the ground hard, knocked out cold as well. Moments later, Sonic runs towards the right side of the forest and fights the next group of soldiers. The soldiers desperately try to attack Sonic but they were easily defeated as the soldiers land in front of Nero and the others as well. Sonic than appears soon after in front of them.
"*Cleans Up Gloves* Looks like I win again," Sonic said
"Mhm, mhm, I'm really impressed, Sonic! You really handled those veterans like they were nobodies using your incredible maneuver. It was only you as well and yet you defeated our enemies. You're more intriguing than when we first met. Listen... Rather than a guest commander, want to serve me? You'll get to savour all the glory of this world by my side. I mean after we've defeated the United Empire, of course." Nero requests
"You want me to serve you, huh?" Sonic said
"..."
"Not a bad deal, is it?" Nero said
"I mean... true..." Sonic replied
"Isn't that right? Isn't that right? You're an honest soul. Heh, heh, I think I really like you now!" Nero said
"M-Master... are you leaving our beautiful relationship for her?" Kiyohime asks
"Not this again..." Sonic thought
"*Sigh* It's not what you think, Kiyohime... Nero and I are just friends and nothing else. That goes for everyone else..." Sonic replied
"Senpai, we have a mission. You haven't forgotten, have you? You haven't forgotten, have you?" Mash said
"Once we defeat the United Empire, I can even grant you Britannia, let alone Gaul. You know of my generosity, but grand feasts like this have been rare. Isn't that right, soldier? Do I not excel in splendour among past emperors?" Nero asks
"Yes, as you say. Today the brilliance that is Rome shines all the brighter!"
"Heh, heh, an honest fellow. Yes, yes, I believe that even I may shine a bit too brightly." Nero said
"..."
"Oh? Mash is looking a little..."
"What is it, Doctor?"
"No, it's nothing. Nothing. Whoops! Another enemy attack! More regular soldiers, this time." Romani said
"This mage is really quite useful. Go on Sonic, crush them once more!" Nero commands
"Now that's what I'm talking about!" Sonic replied
Sonic speeds off towards the enemy soldiers in the distance. A group of soldiers notices Sonic running towards them as they aim their spears at him. Sonic smiles and runs faster towards the soldiers. Moments later, the soldiers threw their spears at the Sonic as
"Looks like you've taken care of the enemy once again, Sonic. And no casualties have been taken, fortunately. But, aren't you exhausted from all the battles?" Mash asks
"Exhausted? Not in the slightest! Taking down enemies is my past time!" Sonic replied
"Hehe... I thought so, Senpai." Mash said
"We should be arriving soon at our destination. I can see it." Romani said
"...How truly convenient! I'm going to want one in every country, mage. Whoa, it's just like the mage said Sonic. We've entered the territory of Gaul. You must be tired from your long journey and fights. The Gaul expedition troop's camp is nearby. We can finally get a good long rest." Nero said
"Long journeys and fights are my favourite hobbies, Nero. This one is no exception." Sonic replied
*Gaul*
Several minutes, the group finally reach the Gual expedition troop's camp Nero mentioned before. Tents were placed around the area as soldiers
"I am Emperor Nero Claudius! I shall allow you to listen carefully! Soldiers of the Gaul expedition, I thank you for your efforts for me, my subjects, and my Rome! I have now come to the expedition's aid. You now have a mighty here with you! There's no reason for us to lose this battle! Victory belongs to me, and the Rome you all love!" Nero shouted
Nero's army all roar after listening to Nero's speech, promising to bring victory to Rome.
"Listen to the crowd. So this is how charismatic Emperor was at her peak?" Mash asks
"Probably, but it's also a mystery. She's so charismatic now but in her later years... No, never mind. I will stop there, never tell people living in the past about the future. That's our policy." Romani said
"...Kyuu..."
"Mm. This is... This reaction, Mash... right there..."
Moments later, Sonic notices two individuals enter the camp that he doesn't recognize. One of these individuals was over two meters tall. Pale skin is covered in innumerable scars and is covered in leather straps tightly coiling about his body and face. The second individual's hair was red, wore a white outfit, short red skirt, brown boots that went up to her thighs, and holding a sword and shield as well.
"Well, Emperor Nero Claudius came earlier than I thought. You there, The girl who's doing her best and the two-leg Blue animal. Are you the guest commanders I've heard so much about? I guess looks can be deceiving. Thank you for travelling so far. I'm Boudica, general of the Gaul expedition." Boudica introducing herself
"It's time to meet you, Boudica," Sonic replied
"Boudica?" Mash said
"Yes, Boudica, the "former" queen of Britannia, and this huge fellow here is..."
"Another champion who was invited to the battlefield. You should be pleased, this garden of battle is full of oppressors. The oppressors are committing atrocities as they approach. It is time to rise up. Let us battle side by side. You who dare defy this unparalleled tyranny." The Huge Giant Said
"..."
"...Right. His words baffle me, but I have a feeling..." Mash said
"H-Huh? Whoa, that's extremely rare. Spartacus hardly ever takes a liking to someone at first sight. Let me correct myself. He hardly ever takes a liking to someone at first sight, without then pouncing on them." Boudica said
"Well, that's interesting to hear." Sonic replies
"What is this giant talking about?" Kiyohime thought
"Some very interesting choice of words there." Martha thought
"Doctor, this giant over here is..." Mash thought
"Fouuuuu..."
"Y-Yes, he's definitely a muscle. I mean a Servant. That's what the reading says. Definitely a Servant. Let's leave it at that He doesn't seem to have hostile intentions." Romani thought
"I can't translate what he's saying. He's looking at us, but what does he mean by "You who defy tyranny?" Mash thought
"My guess is he's a Berserker. Yes, he must be... Maybe..."
"Warrior of the rebellion, give me your name. Let us revolt together against the inhumane empire and shout in triumph under a free sky," Spartacus said
"?"
"My name is Sonic, Sonic The Hedgehog. A Hedgehog who likes to run fast! And these four behind me are my best friends! Mash, Medusa, Martha, and Kiyohime." Sonic introduced himself and the others to Spartacus
"Did he ask for your name just now? Is that what it was?" Mash asks
"That being said, I suppose this proves that even in this era, start Servants do exist. For some reason, unlike hostile Servants, there are also those who have free will, stand by their era, and fight. It has been confirmed in two eras. I am sure it will be the case for all the singularities. If we count, Fuyuki, this makes the third time... At any rate, this is encouraging. This way we know we'll have allies even without summoning." Romani replied
"Ummmm, are you the invisible Mage?" Boudica asks
"Oh excuse me, let me introduce myself. I am Roman, and..."
"I am Mash Kyrielight, this is Sonic... The viceroy. And these next to me are Medusa, Kiyohime, and Martha... Sonic's Servants." Mash said
"I've heard your names before, news of your travels even out here. I've also heard of stories about Viceory Sonic defeating a large number of enemies on his own. Truly a brave warrior. They are the honoured guests, aren't they, Your Majesty." Boudica said
"..."
"Your Majesty?"
"What's wrong, Nero? Why that look on your face?" Sonic asks
"...Mm. D-Did you say something? It seems I am a little tired. Boudica, take care of our guests. Tell them about the situation here in Gaul. I have a terrible headache. I'm going to lie down for a bit." Nero said
"Understood. Leave these individuals to me." Boudica replied
"Yes, I'm counting on you. Sonic, I would say usually to others if they're exhausted and they should get some rest, but as you said before. You aren't tired at all and it doesn't affect you at all... I don't know how you do it." Nero said before walking away
"I bring news! An enemy scouting party has been discovered!"
"...Can we pursue them?"
"We can't catch up to the enemy soldiers' speed! At this rate, it's possible they'll get away soon!"
"You're right. A group of them, are leaving the camp and making off with intel on us!" Romani said
"This looks like a job for me only," Sonic said
"Oh, yea! Sonic... catch them!" Romani replied
"You got it!" Sonic said
"Teach them a lesson, Senpai!" Mash said
Seconds later, Sonic speeds away towards the enemy scouting party and leaving a cloud of dust behind. Sonic quickly stops in front of the escaping enemy soldiers as they all stop in their tracks. Sonic soon curls into a ball and homing attacks each soldier one by one, dropping them to the ground where they let go of their weapons and fall next to them. The Red Wisp appears from Sonic as it enters inside him once again as he transforms into a red fireball and begins to charge up into a glowing ball. The soldiers attempted to run away from Sonic but Sonic quickly catches up to and unleashes a huge explosion which burns the soldiers into ash and jumps into the air extremely high and above the Gaul Exitipedtion Camp. Everyone from the camp looks above as Sonic returns to his normal form and begins to fall back down to the camp and fast. Everyone panicked as they saw Sonic falling down with no equipment and could severely injure himself once landing back down on the ground. Everyone desperately looked everywhere to find something that Sonic can at least land on safely. That is until Medusa quickly jumps high in the air and catches Sonic mid-air, landing back down soon after and placing him on the ground once again. The soldiers all cheer as Sonic gives Medusa a thumbs up for catching him before hitting the ground once again like a few times before.
"The enemy has been easily defeated. They sure didn't expect a Hedgehog to have fire powers. Didn't they?" Sonic said
"You are one crazy, Hedgehog... Sonic." Romani replied
"HA! This is nothing, my good pal Roman. I've done crazier things than what you witness right now!" Sonic said
"...Sometimes, I just can't understand you, Sonic..." Romani replied
"Apologies Boudica... Sonic here can only be described as... different..." Mash said
"Oh don't worry about it! I'm fine with it! As long as he enjoys it and defeats our enemies. I don't see no problem." Boudica replied
*Evening*
After everything has calmed down, Mash explained the whole ordeal of her, Sonic, and the Servants being here in the first place.
"So that's the story. I think we'll be in your care for a while." Mash said
"Oh? From a foreign world? I see, I guess such things can really happen." Boudica replied
"Thank you for your understanding. Boudica, was it? You're a Servant too, right?" Romani asks
"...Doctor."
"It's all right, you don't have to hold your tongue. Yes, I "should be dead" already. I see you find that strange. How did Queen Boudica become a Roman general, right?" Boudica replied
"Yes. In the history that I'm away of, you..."
"Yes, that's right. I'll never forgive Emperor Nero or Rome. I even swore it to the Celtic gods. And then I materialized. To this era right after my death, of all things. I thought maybe it was my chance for revenge, but when I saw Rome overrun by the United Empire... My body moved on its own. Not for Nero's sake, but for the people who live there. Or did I feel guilty towards the Londinium fellows, whom I brutally murdered for the sake of my vengeance? I don't really know myself. But when I think about it, I've always been like that. I think fighting to protect something is just my personality. That's what seems most natural to me. So my apologies to Nero, who wrongly sees me as a "worthy living opponent," but..."
"This may sound a bit off coming from me... But, are you keeping your Servant status a secret?" Sonic asks
"Yes, because somehow she's more dangerous than before. If she becomes overly concerned about me, who knows what she would do." Boudica replied
"...Understood. You're a proper Heroic Spirit. A hero whom others aspire t be. The symbol of strength used to suppress villainy and save others." Mash said
"Nyahaha, I was just doing it on a whim... Although if that's how I look to you, who am I to disagree?" Boudica replied
"There aren't many Heopric Spirits who could put it like that. Queen Boudica, your pride is dazzling." Romani said
"Senpai. Um, are you keeping up with the conversation?" Mash asks
"She's a Heroic Spirit. A Servant. She was killed by Nero's own army just before this era happened. Boudica was the Queen of Britannia, which was eventually overrun by Rome. Now she stands with Nero." Sonic replied
"Look's like blue here listens carefully to conversations about important information," Boudica said
"I do have a question, though. I mean, why..."
"It's not that difficult. I dislike the United Empire more than Nero. You feel the same way, don't you Spartacus? You intend to fight a legion of oppressors. It's dangerous to say this, but she isn't the enemy. You don't consider yourself to be Nero's ally, do you?" Boudica asks
"Hahaha, the walls of the colosseum have fallen. Soon, all of this land shall become my colosseum." Spartacus replied
"You see?"
"I don't."
"I wonder if she possesses a special skill. Like Madness Comprehension... or something?" Romani thought
"A-Anway. Both of them are Heroic Spirits and Servants. Just like in Orleans, right? In a singularity, multiple Servants will materialize. But not all of them are enemies. Some have wills of their own and stand on the side of justice." Mash said
"You're embarrassing me. I'm not all that." Boudica replied
"Hahaha! Behold, this muscular body is proof of the uprising. The oppressors shall know any injuries inflicted are my strength." Spartacus said
"There, you see? Spartacus is embarrassed, too." Boudica said
"..."

"..."
"...Wise words from you, again..." Martha said
"I still can't understand you quite well..." Kiyohime said
"Senpai, did you understand what he said?" Mash asks
"Definitely I did," Sonic replied
"All right, shall we get started then?" Boudica said
"Excuse me?"
"I don't doubt your skills, but... Ah, actually, maybe I do. Right now, the United Empire controls most of Gaul. Not even we can drive them out. The ruler of Gaul... One of the "emperors," is strong. There's nothing excessive about him, body or mind. He's a top-notch hero in both looks and skills. Sonic, do you have the strength to fight him head-on? Or should I use you as backup? My apologies, but could I put your abilities to the test?" Boudica said
"Ah... asking for a duel you say?" Sonic replied
"What? I thought you were a rational queen, but it turns out you're a hero who "speaks" with her sword!" Romani said
"Ahaha, now you've got the idea. So, shall we? Just try not to die. When we're done,m I'll whip us something delicious for you. Of course, I mean Britannia cuisine, not Roman. So, let's meet face to face and cross sword and fist! My True Name is Boudica, class Rider! Be careful, because my chariot is extremely strong!"
"You're on!" Sonic replied
"Senpai!" Mash said
Moments later, Boudica charges toward Sonic at full speed and begins swinging her sword at him. Sonic jumps back and easily dodge each sword swing from Boudica. Boudica continues to swing her sword at Sonic but couldn't land a single hit on him. Moments later, Sonic backflips away as he curls himself into a ball and homing attacks right towards Boudica. Boudica quickly rolls under as Sonic zooms over her and lands behind her, dodging the attack from Sonic. However, Sonic wasn't done yet as he turns around, runs right in front of Boudica as he quickly grabs her tightly and quickly backflips with Boudica in tow before performing a tomoe nage and sending Boudica flying. Boudica quickly lands on the ground as she charges up her sword and lunges at Sonic, unleashing several powerful swings with the sword at Sonic once again, Sonic backflips away from Boudica's attacks several times before performing a backwards Ce Kong Fan and on the ground. Sonic counters back by lunging right at Boudica and punching her in the stomach, then kicking her with his right leg, then finally kicking her with his left leg and knocking her away from him. Sonic continues to fight as he lunges toward Boudica once again and performs a breakdancing kick at Boudica's legs and knocks her down to the ground, ending with a pose soon after. Sonic was about to perform another attack on Boudica until Spartacus appears from behind and swings his large sword at Sonic. But soon after, Mash rushes in quickly, blocks the attack from hitting Sonic and swings her shield at Spartacus, knocking him away from her and Sonic. Sonic curls into a ball as he spins dashes toward Spartacus. Spartacus laughs as charges at Sonic and swings his sword down at him. However, Sonic jumps over the sword attack and spin dashes toward's Spartacus's face and knocking him to the ground. Spartacus laughs as he was enjoying the duel he quickly gets back up from the ground and charges at Sonic. Sonic smirks as he begins to charge up a spindash and aims at Spartacus as well. As Spartacus continues to charge at Sonic, spark flares appear behind Sonic as he continues to gain speed to his spin dash attack. Moments later, Spartacus swings his sword at Sonic but Sonic spin dashes towards Spartacus at incredible speed and hits him on his chest, knocking him down to the ground easily. However, Sonic wasn't finished yet as he was not heading toward's Boudica as well. Boudica quickly puts her shield forward as Sonic hits Boudica's shield and begins to spin dash right it. Boudica gets pushed back further and further away as she desperately blocks Sonic's spin dash attack from hitting her. Everyone watches as Sonic breaks Boudica's shield in half and hits Boudica, knocking her to the ground where Sonic uncurls himself and stops himself from going further away. Sonic then turns around and walks up toward's Boudica.
"I-Impossible... you defeated a Servant in a duel and you aren't a Servant yourself. How?" Boudica shock
"It's not my first rodeo fighting a Servant. Plus, I'm no normal human that can't fight a Servants." Sonic replied
Sonic extends his arm towards Boudica. Boudica grabs Sonic's hand as Sonic pulls Boudica back up from the ground and cleans herself.
"Ah. I must say, I underestimated Sonic's fast attacks. I am happy to be proven wrong about you. You showed me how willing you are able to fight for others. Thanks. My defence and Spartacus's offence match pretty well. You held your own against us. As for you... Mash? You're a shield-wielding Heroic Spirit, right? I really like you. I know it's twisted to have a weapon solely for defence, but it's fat better than one solely for killing. I mean, how can you be so reliable when you're so slim?" Boudica said
"Fou?"
"R-Reliable?"
"Yes, when you wielded your shield and stood your ground... It was like you'd taken root. If Lord Nero is the violence of fire, then you're the riches of the earth. I think you'd be compatible with any Heroic Spirit." Boudica replied
"Right."
"Yes, good answer. Indeed, indeed."
"I'm really proud of you, Mash. You are getting stronger and stronger every time we face new enemies and take each of them down." Sonic said
"Thank you, Senpai!" Mash thanking Sonic
"Hmm... Hmm, hmm. Hmm, hmm, hmm."
"E-Excuse me?" Mash said
"Now that I look at you carefully, yes, I see. So that's what it is If that's the case, you should have just told me!" Boudica said
"Excuse me?"
"Things are getting complicated, aren't they? Even we... Ah, I just noticed. How adorable!"
"Huh?"
"Come here. Come on. *Brings Mash Closer To Her And Hugs Her* There, there."
"Ah... W-What is it, Boudica? Augh... What's with you all of a sudden..." Mash asks

"*Looks Away From The Two* Looks like someone else is proud of you as well, Mash," Sonic commented
"U-Um, y-your chest... I can't breathe..." Mash struggling
"Mmm, good girl, good girl! You called yourself Nero's all so I was on my guard for a bit, sorry! But now I'm in a great mood! All right, tonight I'll make you something wonderful to eat! Your big sister here is really good at cooking Britannia cuisine. You'll eat it, won't you?" Boudica asks
"T-Thank you... Senpai, how about you? Are you hungry?" Mash said
"I rather just let all of you eat instead, you don't have to worry about me," Sonic replied
"Senpai..."
"I'll be fine, Mash. You should take care of yourselves rather than worry about others." Sonic said
"Yes, yes! Eat, eat, and then go to sleep! That's the key to having plenty of energy! Even if you don't like it, I'll force you to eat! Then after dinner... Of course, we should take a bath! I'll even wash your back." Boudica said
"Huh?"
"I hate to admit this, but Roman baths are the best in the world. It goes to show that even Nero can be useful. It feels amazing. Even Spartacus calms down when he's immersed in hot water." Boudica said
"Huh?"
"I'll pass that!" Sonic quickly replied
"U-Um... I think you can let go of me now..." Mash said
"Berserkers calm down when they're immersed in hot water... This is a discovery Mash!" Romani said
"No, it's not. No..." Mash replied
*The Next Day*
The next day rolls around as an army was fighting against another army as deadly as any other war. Weapons were being swung around and slamming against each other. Blood dripping on the ground, bodies were being dropped every few seconds. This battle was an instance of other deadly fights.
"I have a report, Your Majesty. Enemy attacks are intensifying... and we have a message from the front. A small unit led by the pretender, Emperor Nero, is advancing with incredible force. Reports are also coming in that some Blue animal is defeating our men in insane numbers all by themselves. It's as you said, Your Majesty. There's a "special" enemy leader among them."
The soldier's leader is a man in his twenties wearing a red coat of a uniform with golden buttons over a white shirt, a pink tie, shoulder pads, a white skirt, and wearing a grass crown. The most noticeable appearance of the leader is that he is also extremely overweight as well.
"I see."
"Yes, sir."
"Hmm."
"Sir, how should we proceed?"
"Do nothing. Forget about them."
"What?"
"Only a Servant can stand up to another Servant. Seriously, it's such a pain. It's laughable to think that the file gods would come this far. I mean, look at me... A "Saber" class, huh? To think they would ake me take up my sword."
"D-Do you mean... Emperor Caesar, are you going into battle yourself?"
"Fool"
"Sir!"
"I am not going into battle. They are coming to me. I'm not moving. The rest of you better not meddle with them, either. Especially that "blue animal" you mentioned." Caesar said
"B-But, your Majesty! We are soldiers of the true United Roman Empire! If our rule over Gaul is the will of the gods, then we must not retreat!"
"Fool! Are you in a hurry to die? Humans cannot defeat a Servant. Even that Blue Animal can't defeat Servants. They all would be slaughtered." Caesar replied
"B-But..."
"Then let it be an order. Fight in moderation, I do not desire your deaths."
"...Yes, sir! With everything I have."
"That being said, I'm sure you are going to die for the sake of the Rome that you believe in. Honestly... I've had it with "that one's" whims. Perfect government. Perfect leadership. But then you're left with a colony of people without a will."
*With Sonic*
Sonic, Mash, Martha, Medusa, Kiyohime, Spartacus, Boudica all watch as the enemy soldiers were charging at them full speed.
Spartacus and I will lead the charge! All of you, go with Nero to take the enemy's main camp." Boudica commands
"Hahahahahaha. Wonderful. Everything is here. Hundreds, thousands of oppressors' evil agents are here. Now is the time to sing of our victory. We're not at a disadvantage, we have the upper hand From now on, my warcry shall signify the beginning of our triumph." Spartacus said
"Not over there, here! Oh, come on Spartacus!"
"Hahahahaha. The queen of the rebellion is my ally. That is to say, victory is at hand. The powerful will be defeated!" Spartacus said
"..MM, I'm counting on you, Boudica. In a number of ways, I'm counting on you. Still, Spartacus isn't wrong! The time has come to defeat one of the "emperors." Let us take Gaul back from the falls emperor! Come all!" Nero commanded

Moments later, Sonic and the rest charge at the soldiers as well at full speed. Sonic quickly jumps above the soldiers as the Red Wisp appears from Sonic's body and enter's once again Sonic transforms into a fireball and quickly begins to charge up into a glowing ball. The soldiers aim their bows at Sonic and all fire at him but the arrows turned to ash before they even get to him. Moments later, Sonic releases his energy and explodes, turning hundreds of soldiers below him into ash in just under a second. Sonic land's back down soon after as more soldiers were heading toward him. However, Medusa quickly lunges toward the soldiers and slashes them one by one with her weapons. Slashing them in their bodies and slashing their heads off as well. The soldiers desperately did their best to attack Medusa at least once but Medusa was faster than them and took down several soldiers before they even knew she was their next target. Someplace else, Kiyohime was surrounded by a group of soldiers who were aiming their weapons at her. Kiyohime just giggles as Sonic in his Burst form jumps right next to Kiyohime and begins to charge up once again. Kiyohime pick's up to Sonic as she breathes out fire at Sonic and increases the heat of Sonic's form into staggering temperatures. The increase in temperature was so great, the soldiers were melting around Kiyohime before Sonic can release his main attack. Soon after, Kiyohime brings Sonic closer to her and gives a little kiss on Sonic's cheek before throwing him into the air and exploding seconds later, turning a greater number of soldiers into ash at once around Kiyohime. With Martha and Mash, Mash blocks several arrows coming right toward's her as Martha behind her prays and fires multiple magical attacks right at the soldiers. The magical attacks hit the soldiers and they "explode" on impact and throw them away from her and Mash. Martha prays again as the magical light that hit the soldiers begin to emit light and "explode" soon after. Causing the soldiers to fall to the ground, defeated by Martha's attack. Mash rushes towards a group of soldiers and slams her shield right at them, knocking them to the ground as they let go of their weapons as well. Medusa soon after rushes past Mash as she slashes each soldier, slashing their necks as blood spews out of them. Moments later, the soldiers slowly fell to the ground as blood continues to spew out of them. Before Mash can continue fighting, Mash notices a new enemy running right towards her at full speed. A large Golem heading toward's her way. Mash quickly notices and put's her shield out in front of her as the Golem throws a punch at Mash and punches the shield. The force from the punch pushes Mash back as it continues to punch the shield. Martha begins to pray again as she fires more magical attacks at the Golem. The magical attacks hit the Golem as Martha prays once again and the magical attacks explode soon after, pushing the golem away from Mash. Moments later, Kiyohime rushes into a fire a wall of flames around the golem to prevent it from escaping. Kiyohime soon breaths out fire toward's the Golem as it's engulfed in flames. Sonic soon after, jumps over the golem as he charges up and releases an explosion that destroys the Golem into several pieces and rocks fly everywhere. Soon after, Sonic land's right next to Mash and the other as he returns to his normal blue form.
"*Rubbing His Cheek* We're doing all great out there, but I did not give you permission to do that to me, Kiyohime. I'm not able to talk while in that form and couldn't say anything while you did that to me." Sonic said
"Hehe... It's okay, it was just a little gift to you for all your hard work, Master. Hehe." Kiyohime replied
"...Oh brother..."
"...What was that enemy just now," Mash asks
"No question, it's a magical creature. Is this the work of an enemy Servant or mage? Or was it Leff Lynor?" Mash Romani replied
"Stop daydreaming! We're changing into the enemy's main camp!" Nero shouted
"I'm getting a reading on a non-human, non-Servant entity. Sonic, more golems are coming!" Romani said
"I will crush them. Master, let's go!"
Sonic and the others charge at the Golems soon after. One of the Golems notices Sonic and his companions as they make a fist and throw a punch right at Sonic. Sonic quickly dodges the attack as he curls into a ball and homing attacks the Golem at its stomach, disrupting its oncoming attack and pushing it away. Medusa then appears behind the Golem and strikes it several times with her daggers, damaging the Golem from behind. The Golem quickly turns around to fight Medusa, but at that point, she already disappeared. Seconds later, Medusa appears in front of the Golem and strikes it in the face with her daggers before roundhouse kicking it away towards Kiyohime. Kiyohime fires several fireballs at the Golem, as well as Martha, fires several magical energy at the Golem. The Golem covers itself as it blocks the oncoming fireballs and magical energy projectiles at it. However, Mash jumps right at the Golem and slams her shield on the Golem's head and slamming it down to the ground hard. Nero then rushed and swings her sword at the Golem several times before slashing its head off its body before vanishing away. Moments later, more soldiers and golems charge at the group as Sonic and his team charge at the enemy as well.
*A Few Minutes Later*
After the group defeated tons of enemies in their path, they have finally met up with the leader of the enemy army. Caesar.
"*Looking At Caser With A Confuse Look* Eggman?"
"...So you're here. I'm tired of waiting. How long do you intend to keep me waiting? Still, though, it looks like it was worth a little boredom! That beauty of yours... So beautiful, your beauty is fitting for the world's greatest treasure... Rome! Heir to our beloved Rome. What did you say your name was?" Caesar said
"..."
"Don't fall silent. Even if it's on the battlefield, be eloquent. Or do you intend to fight without giving me your name? Is that the way of the current Roman emperor? Now then, speak. Who is the one who would force me to take up arms, what is your name?" Caesar said
"Nero. I am the fifth Emperor of the Roman Empire. My name is Nero Claudius. I will take you out pretender to the throne!" Nero shouted
"I like how you announced yourself. Otherwise, it would all be so dull. *Notices Sonic Right Next To Nero* So, this is the Blue animal I heard about. Defeating my people on his own, huh. Thank you for coming from a distant land. Tell me your names as well." Caesar asks
"Names Sonic, Sonic The Hedgehog. I'm just a Hedgehog who likes to save the day on a daily basis." Sonic replied
"Interesting, I would say so myself. An animal who plays hero for fun, it's quite amusing. Take the fifth Emperor here, she as well thinks of herself as a hero as well. Which makes all of this funnier." Caesar said
"That is not true, I'm doing it to give my Rome a better future where they don't have to live in fear anymore. That is my only objective and nothing else." Nero replied
"Is that so..."
"Um, can we get down to business?" Romani asks
"I want to ask you something. About the United Empire, and the Holy Grail." Mash asks
"Oh? Then, um, the what's-your-name over there..."
"You already forgot? It's Sonic..." Sonic replied
"So you're the "Master," huh? I see, so this is Master and his Servants. Just by the look of you, you are very different from the one I know. Or are you the proper one? In any case, I suppose you're my enemy. It's a pain, but so be it. Let me reward you for coming all this and defeating tons of my men. I will let you witness the power of my golden sword, Crocea Mors." Caesar said
"*Get's Into A Fighting Stance* Hehe... Your on!" Sonic replied
"Don't say that! Gold is my colour! Mine! The one who built the Golden Theather!" Nero shouted
"Haha, that's the spirit. Protect his well, Demi-Servant. Fight well and perhaps I will tell you where to find the Holy Grail that you seek." Caesar said
"!"
"That isn't the only thing I'm here to find. I need something that can be dangerous if hold by the wrong hands." Sonic replied
"I see... I have no knowledge of this thing you seek for. Now then... Come forth. The die has already been cast." Caesar said
"Senpai, he's all yours," Mash said
"With pleasure."
Sonic curls into a ball and begins spinning rapidly at incredible speed. He then launches himself forward toward Caesar. Caesar's eyes widen as he has never seen a non-Servant strong enough to fight against a Servant. Moments later, Sonic attacks Caesar and pushes him further away. The attack on Caesar causes Sonic to jump into the air after bouncing off from his stomach and performing a mid-air homing attack that homes in on Caesar, hitting his face and throwing him on the floor. Sonic then land's back on the ground as Caesar quickly gets up from the ground and charges at Sonic. Moments later, Caesar begins to swing his sword at Sonic several times at him but Sonic dodges each sword strike Caesar throws at him. Nero and the others watch as Caesar couldn't lay a single sword attack at Sonic due to his incredible speed. Moments later, Sonic winds up his fist and throws a punch toward's Caeser, hitting him on his stomach and knocking him away soon after.
"Hmm, a Master who's capable of fighting Servants. You really are something animal. You certainly are strong. No... Who would ever place a fine general like me on the front lines in the first place? Can't call this "best man for the job." Caesar said
"Enough with the sarcastic talk," Sonic replied
"Wielding such a devastating sword... How can you even say that..." Mash asks
"Just what you'd expect of a Saber Class... He's truly a skilled Servant." Romani said
"Such a monster... Ugh, and I thought he was just a fake emperor..." Nero said
"No, you're wrong about that Nero Claudius. I'm still the emperor, though no such title existed in my time. In your repose to your beauty and courage, I shall tell you my name. I am Caesar. In other words... Gaius Julius Caesar."
"Wh-What? That's... the name of the ruler who preceded our first emperor... But... You're dead... How can this be?"
"You've already met Caligula, I presume? Then you should already know. We're "genuine." Both myself and him." Caesar replied
"...Ugh."
"Try to relax. You are beautiful, truly beautiful. Your beauty can match any other treasure in the world. You, Demi-Sergeant, and those three Servants, you all are beautiful. Very nice indeed. Nice bodies, too." Caesar said
All of a sudden, Sonic rushes at Caesar as he jumps right at him and performs a Hook Kick on his face. Knocking him to the ground hard.
"!"
"Don't you ever say stuff like that to my friends! If I hear something close to what you said just now. I won't hesitate to go all out on you!" Sonic threaten
"I admire your protection for these people. Since this is the second time you defeated me. I'll tell you where the Holy Grail is located. The Holy Grail is located in a castle within the United Empire's capital. More precisely, in the hands of our Court Mage."
"Mage... Can you tell us the name of that person?"
"I can't. Your reward ends here for I have no reason to tell you more. Now, Emperor Nero, your hardship is not something I wish for. But I have my own reasons to fight. I want that Holy Grail for myself as well. They say once a Servant has obtained the Holy Grail, they can get any wish granted... This is rather greedy as I am already dead, but I must fulfill the promise that I made. Well then. It's time for me to be serious. It's been a while, so I needed exercise. The poor golden sword also needs occasion use." Caesar said
Moments later, Caesar begins to transform into his second form.
"Serious?"
"The presence..."
"His magical energy level is rising? No, he's unleashing what he's been holding back! I guess our opponent has gotten serious! Or rather, he didn't fight seriously until now!"
"I came, I saw. Now, I must conquer! Come your little animal! Face me!" Caesar said
"Is that really your most powerful weapon? How pitiful..." Kiyohime said
"I'll be your teacher for your weight loss journey. Repeat these moves with me." Sonic replied
Sonic begins to move his leg in a pattern similar to an infinity symbol, building up speed and soon accelerates top speeds at Caesar. Caesar places his right arm made of stone in front of him as blue aura coats Sonic. Moments later, Sonic hits Caesar's right stone arm as he drags Caesar further and further away. Caeser continues to block Sonic from attacking but soon notices Sonic beginning to run even faster after flames appear behind Sonic's feet. Caser desperately tries to stop Sonic but his speed was far greater than what he could withstand. As he tries to stop Sonic, Medusa appears behind Caeser and slashes him with her daggers several times, leaving scratches marks and tears on his red uniform. Caesar yells in pain as tries swinging his sword at Medusa but Medusa was nowhere in sight. Seconds later, Martha begins to pray as she fires magical attacks right at Caeser. Caeser notices the magical attack heading toward him as slashes his sword at them and blocks the attacks from him. However, Martha fired more magical energy at Caesar as they all hit Caesar and damaged him severely. Caesar's stone arm begins to crack as Sonic was now overpowering the strength of the stone of the gauntlet. Kiyohime jumps into the air as she breathes out the fire right at Caesar. The fire hits Caesar as his uniform catches on fire as well. Caesar's gauntlet cracks even more now as Nero and Mash both charge at Caesar. Nero slashes Caesar several times with her sword and Mash swings her shield across, attacking Caesar as well. As they were attacking Caesar, the gauntlet finally breaks, not able to hold Sonic anymore and slams right at Caesar, throwing him away at him at distance, rolling on the ground before coming to a complete stop. Sonic rushes towards Caesar soon after and dopes a split kick at him, throwing him further away before laying motionless on the ground.
"Mm, mmm... Did we... get him?" Nero asks
"Yes, I can detect his readings are getting weaker. You won, all thanks to Sonic and the Servants. Congratulations."
"We couldn't have done with without Senpai."
"Look's like being beaten by the animal and his team of beautiful women isn't so bad," Caesar said
Sonic looks at Caesar with an angry look on his face.
"M-my apologies... It's not feasible for me to act like a mere soldier anyway. Seriously, I was helpless against you. However, I have something else to say. The true emperor of this era. That person is surely waiting for all your arrival in the capital. I'm not an emperor to be exact, but none of the past "emperors" can stand up against that person. When you see that person's name and face, I wonder how you'll react? I can't wait. *Looks At Nero* I am not being sarcastic. You are beautiful, no matter what expression you may have..." Caesar said before vanishing away
"He's gone... What's this... Is this some sort of magecraft or..."
"Nero... That what you just saw was a Servant death..." Sonic replied
"What did you..."
"As Senpai said, that Servant has lost his life. A Servant disappears when facing death. Their temporary body disappears, and their experience is sent back to the Throne." Mash explaining
"I don't quite understand... what that bastard, no, "that man" said earlier."
"He is a Servant. A deceased human transcended into a different form. Just like Sonic's companions." Romani replied
"I see. I made you personally kill the once-great ruler Caeser." Nero said
"Nero..." Sonic said
"No, nothing. Yes! I commented you for defeating one of the "emperors." Now Gaul is truly under my command. We have shown the United Empire what we can do! Just as I wished, just as my people wished, the Rome blessed by our ancestors and gods is returning to us! I will bring Rome back into my hands! Until then... Until then, no matter what, I cannot afford to stop here." Nero said
*At The Capital*
News spread around the Capital as Caeser was defeated by an unknown individual from unknown origins.
"...So Caeser was defeated."
The infamous person, Leff Leynor appears.
"Yes, it seems that way. I only used him because he had a wish for the Grail. This shouldn't cause many issues. I can summon as many new Servants as I want. If there's an issue, it's this foolish Berserker. Isn't it obvious that Berserkers are fools? I was surprised he would defy my orders. Is blood thicker than water? What a joke." Leff said
"For my destiny... My beloved niece Nero... is irrelevant... Beautiful child... Nero, you will be loved, loved, so loved... Therefore... In my destiny..." Caligula said
"Hmph, I regret not having a Command Spell. However, I have quite the spell for you. You will kill your niece with your own hands. Then, drowned in regret, you will destroy everything else in this era. That said... You likely don't have enough intellect left to regret. My, my, Servants truly are inconvenient beings. No matter how legendary you are, or how much superhuman strength you possess, in the end you are just mere familiars. With the power to change the world at will, yet that freedom is not allowed. Talk about irony. Say, wouldn't you agree?: Leff said

"Oh, excuse me. Come to think of it, you are a Servant too. Heh, that's why you must obey me. If anything called destiny exists for you, I am it. the utter annihilation of this era. The death of Emperor Nero, the collapse of ancient Rome, the death of humanity. That... is my duty, bestowed upon me by our king." Leff said
"...Yes."
"Then, it is time to replenish our lost personnel. The summoning ritual is almost finished. This is different than the one I knew in Chaldea. I can truly summon Servants at will. We were created as such. With this summoning ritual, I stand at the end of this world."
Moments later, Leff begins to summon new Servants.
"...Servant, Lancer. True Name, Leonidas. I will serve you from here on."
"Oh, a Heroic Spirit from Thermopylae. Not bad. Use your full powers to eliminate Nero Claudius... as well for a Blue rodent-like creature!" Leff commanded
