Plot: As Phoenix Halliwell-Romanov attends the wake of Martha Kent, he meets someone who will change everything for him, someone that Phoenix is destined to meet. This meeting will set off a chain of events that will change their lives and the lives of several others. forever.

On the 1st of October Phoenix is back at Hogwarts, but he isn't alone, Jon is with him, and the two are sitting at the Gryffindor table in the great hall. The two, along with everyone else, watch as Headmaster Dumbledore steps up to speak, he then says to everyone "well, now that we are all settled, I'd like to make an announcement" just as the doors to the great hall open and Filch comes in and starts jogging towards Dumbledore much to the amusement of the students Dumbledore says "this castle will not only be your home this year but home to some very special guests as well. You see, Hogwarts has been chosen-" before he is interrupted by Filch who he whispers to before Filch starts jogging back.
Dumbledore says "so Hogwarts has been chosen to host a legendary event: the Triwizard tournament" and the twins say in unison "brilliant" just as Dumbledore says "for those who do not know the Triwizard tournament brings together three schools for a series of magical contests from each school a single student is selected to compete, now let me be clear if chosen you stand alone and trust me when I say these contests are not for the faint-hearted but more of that later. For now, please join me in welcoming the lovely ladies of Beauxbatons Academy of Magic" the doors of the great hall open as Dumbledore says "and their headmistress Madame Maxine"
The ladies walk in sighing as wave their right arms towards one of the tables before walking again and doing the same action with their left arms before kind of prancing towards the head table which makes Ron say "bloody hell" before stopping and magically releasing some blue butterflies as a little girl does gymnastics down the hall before the girl and another older girl bow at the great hall which sets off a lot of clapping and whistling. Dumbledore kisses Madame Maxine's hand before Dumbledore gets up in front of everyone, and quiets them down before saying "and now our friends from the north, please greet the proud sons of Durmstrang and their high master Igor Karkaroff" the guys of Durmstrang march in banging the ends of their staves onto the floor with rythim before switching staff to their our hands and they stop where they are and bang the ends of their staves in unison for a bit before putting their staves down and running towards the head table just as Viktor Krum walks in with Igor and another guy and they hear from someone "oh, it's Krum" before Ron says "Blimey, it's him! it's Viktor Krum" two of the guys blows fire from their wands that turn into dragons before disappearing as Igor and Dumbledore hug in greeting.
Dumbledore then says to everyone "let's eat" waving his hands before a feast appears on their table.
Sometime during the feast Phoenix hears the conversation that is starting to happen at the head table, he turns to the head table to see Dumbledore talking to Headmistress Maxine, he can see the tension between Snape and the Durmstang Headmaster as Madame Maxine says to Dumbledore "Professor Dumbly-dorr, my horses have travelled a long way, they will need attending to"
"don't worry, Madame Maxine. Our gamekeeper, Hagrid, is more than capable of seeing to them" replies Dumbledore. Hagrid smiles and nods at Madame Maxine who says to Hagrid who is oblivious to Professor Flitwick moving a plate away "but you know, Monsieur Hagrid... they only drink single-malt whiskey" Hagrid nods, and he then accidentally stabs Professor Flitwick with his fork. Professor Flitwick yells out in pain before he says "you idiot!" making Phoenix laugh catching the attention of the people around him, and he smiles and taps his ear, only Jon and a few others understand and nod, and everyone else goes back to eating.
A few moments later some gold tower thing is placed in front of the head table by some guys who Filch shoos away before Dumbledore stands in front of everyone and says loudly "your attention, please!" Dumbledore then says "I'd like to say a few words" he places his hand on the gold tower thing and says "eternal glory, that is what awaits the student who wins the Triwizard Tournament, but to do this, that student must survive three tasks, three extremely dangerous tasks"
"wicked" mutters the Weasley Twins in unison.
"for this reason... the ministry has seen fit to impose a new rule, to explain all this... we have the head of the Department of International Magical Cooperation... Mr Bartemius Crouch" a man with greying hair with a neat parting and narrow toothbrush moustache steps forward, he turns to the students, Phoenix growls a bit upon recognizing him which surprises Jon a bit, Mr Crouch then says to the students "after due consideration... the ministry has concluded that for their own safety no student under the age of seventeen shall be allowed to put their name for the Triwizard Tournament, this decision is final" this announcement brings shouts from students who are underage and want to compete including the Weasley Twins, Fred yells out "that's rubbish! That's rubbish! You don't know what you're doing!" Phoenix has an uneasy feeling about the tournament, even with the age restrictions.
The students are soon silenced by Dumbledore shouting "silence" the Great Hall is silent, Phoenix hears Hermione say "they're not happy about that, then" Dumbledore waves his wand and the gold tower dissolves revealing The Goblet of Fire which sets itself on fire with blue flames, Dumbledore then says to everyone "The Goblet of Fire, anyone wishing to submit themselves to the tournament need only write their name upon a piece of parchment and throw it in the flame before this hour on Halloween Night" he is silent for a moment to let what he had told them to sink in before he says "do not do so lightly, if chosen, there's no turning back, as from this moment, the Triwizard Tournament has begun" the Great hall is full of excited students and some disgruntled students who wanted to enter their names into the tournament.
After the feast, Phoenix takes Jon back to Smallville before returning to Hogwarts.
Two days later Phoenix returns to Smallville with an idea, he's going to start to train Jon in Magic, Phoenix could sense that Jon had untrained Magic, could sense it for a couple of days, so he returns to Smallville and heads to the Kent Farm, when he gets there he sees Jon and Jordan talking to an older man, someone that Phoenix doesn't recognize, Phoenix walks towards them, Jon is the first to notice him and says "hey, Nix, how have you been?"
Phoenix replies once he's close enough "I've been good, just been doing a few things, school work, a job or two, you know, the usual" he turns and says to the man "Phoenix Halliwell-Romanov-Potter, I'm friends with Jon and Jordan"
"General Sam Lane, I'm the boys' grandfather"
"it's a pleasure to meet you," says Phoenix, he then says to Jon "after you've finished talking to your grandfather, I want to talk to you"
"Alright, go in the barn and I'll meet you there," says Jon. Phoenix nods and walks away into the barn, he takes out several books from his small bag on different types of magic along with a stone which he transfigures into a table and a list of the different Magics in Earthland, each divided into five categories, Caster Magic, Holder Magic, Lost Magic, Uncategorized Spells and Forbidden Magic.
After a few moments Jon enters the barn, he sees the table with the books and asks "what's going on?"
"I thought I'd teach you some magic, to defend yourself, just in case you need it" replies Phoenix. Jon widens his eyes at this, Phoenix then says "that being said, I'd thought I'd show you some of what I can do"
"But I've already seen what you can do," says Jon.
"yes, you've seen the Celestial Spirit magic and my Kitsune Form, that's all you've seen but there's more," Phoenix tells Jon before he yells out "Requip" In a flash of golden light Phoenix's outfit changes into a different outfit, it's the outfit he wore in the diner and in his hands are a pair of Sai.
"that's amazing" exclaims Jon. He then says "that's the outfit you wore at the diner, even the shoes"
"yeah, I can store outfits and weapons in a dimensional space, and 'Requip' them at any time that I want, I even keep my keys in there sometimes"
"wow," says Jon before he asks "what else is there?" Phoenix smirks wickedly, he then Requips out of the outfit into what he was wearing before, he then starts to glow, his hair starts to float upwards and a rush of dark magic surrounds Phoenix, once it's clear Phoenix looks different, his eyes have become darker and his eyelashes had grown larger, with a dark, thin marking in a light zigzag-style crossing his right eye vertically; similar markings are present above his right pectoral and on both of his bare thighs, his hair is wilder than before with it growing longer than before, tied up in a high ponytail, his human ears enlarged, extending backwards, and gaining pointed edges, bearing resemblance to those of an elf.
He has gained sharp canine teeth and his lips are covered in dark lipstick, his forearms are covered in scales each sprouting a fin-like protrusion on its outer side while his hands have long sharp claws for fingernails, and he also has a long scaled tail sticking out from where his tail bone ends.
And the outfit he's wearing isn't much of an outfit since he's only wearing a pair of tight black short shorts that has a bulge around his groin and wrap around his ass, on his feet are a pair of high-heeled thigh-high boots.
Jon's jaw drops as he takes in the transformation and he asks "what Magic is this?"
"My Takeover Magic, it's known as Satan Soul" replies Phoenix in a distorted voice.
"Satan Soul?" asks Jon.
"This particular form of Magic allows the user to Take Over the powers and forms of different Demons," Phoenix tells Jon who is shocked by this, Phoenix then says "this is one of the reasons why I'm called The Demon Kitsune of Fairy Tail"
"Fairy Tail? What's that?" asks Jon before he says "I thought it was Demon Fox"
"it's my Guild, a Guild is a type of organization in Earth Land, characterised by a member base and common trade. The purpose of a guild is to obtain and disseminate job requests to the members of the guild, there are two types of Guilds, a Legal Guild and a Dark Guild. A Legal Guild is one that has been approved and registered by the Magic Council. A Dark Guild is one that has not been approved by the Magic Council and is treated as a criminal organization. Aside from Magic Guilds, there is a variety of other guilds, such as a merchant, mercenary, treasure hunter, and even bandit guilds. In general, guilds are formed for individuals to take Jobs and earn Jewels, AKA Money. Legal Guilds also work to defend against Dark Mages and other criminals and Kitsune is Japanese for Fox"
"wow, when did you join Fairy Tail?"
"I joined when I was ten, I took regular jobs to earn Jewel, I was then chosen to take part in the S-Class Trials and become S-Class, at the age of eleven, the youngest ever in Fairy Tail history, the second youngest being Erza who won the year after at fifteen," Phoenix tells Jon who is quite shocked by this, Phoenix then says "okay, enough talk, let's see what type of Magic you feel is right for you" he motions to the table and says "on the table are books, each one is about a different type of Magic, I'll let you see what types of Magic you think are best for you, but I will choose one type of Magic that I think would come in handy"
"what type of Magic do you choose? The one that will come in handy?" asks Jon.
"Requip Magic" replies Phoenix. He then says "I personally think that all Mages should have a little bit of Requip Magic" Jon nods, he looks at the books, he sees all types of different magic. He soon chooses several books to start studying, Phoenix tells him that he has to study first before even trying out any of the Magic that he had chosen.
Jon is soon reading the books that he had chosen, he is going through the third book when Jordan comes into the barn, he is there to tell them that Sarah is at the Kent Farm and that she invited them to a party.
That night the three boys arrive at the party with Sarah who says as they enter the place "welcome to Wellnitz's lake house, please don't feed the animals" Phoenix looks around before he says "I'm going to get a drink" Jon notices Tag and says "yo, Tag!" they all follow Jon as he goes over to Tag who Jon says to "Tag, hey, yo"
"hey" replies Tag whose arm isn't in a sling anymore.
"arm's better?" asks Jon.
"arm's all better, baby," says Tag as Phoenix catches up with Jon, with two drinks in his hands. Sean says to Jon "sup, Kent?" as Tag says "I got a buzz, Tagmeister's back"
"no way, so it just healed like that, or what?" asks Jon.
"who knows and who cares? Have a beer, Kent, it's a party!" says Tag.
"you heard the man," says Sean. Phoenix comes towards them with the two drinks, Sean notices him and asks Jon "is that the guy from the bonfire? The one who-"
"kicked your friends' ass, yeah" replies Jon as Phoenix comes up beside him and hands him a drink before he says "this alcohol is piss weak, Cana would be so disappointed, luckily I brought some of the Fairy Tail Brew" he whispers the last bit to Jon who chuckles.
"who's Cana?" asks Tag.
"A friend of mine, she's quite the drinker, she'd be able to drink you two under a table" replies Phoenix before Sean says "hey, I'm sorry about the bonfire"
"it's cool, I'm always getting into fights, heck, Natsu, a friend of mine, is always challenging me to a fight," Phoenix says to Sean.
"you kick his ass every time, don't you?" asks Sean.
"hell, yeah" replies Phoenix before he says "then he gets into a fight with Gray making Erza split them up, those two do not get along, they are like fire and ice" not mentioning how much like fire and ice they are.
"sounds exciting, so, tell me more about this Cana, is she your girlfriend?" asks Tag.
"and who's Erza?" asks Sean.
"hell, no, Cana and I just drink together, we sometimes even try and outdrink each other, she always wins though and Erza is a friend of mine, who you don't want to anger," says Phoenix. Tag and Sean soon leave after being called over by one of their friends. After the two had left Jon grabs Sarah and asks "is Tag, like... is he all right? Is he on drugs, or..."
"no, that's more Wellnitz's territory" replies Sarah, she notices someone and goes over to her, and the girl says "hey!" the guy with the girl asks Jordan "you met Denise?"
"Hi, Denise," Jordan says to the girl.
"oh, hey" she replies before she says "um, no, my dad played free safety for Smallville so he wouldn't, like, shut up about you after the game"
"It was only one good hit, really," says Jordan
"humble pie, if a girl compliments you like that, you say 'hell yeah'" says some guy. Denise points at Sarah and says "you know, we miss you so much at cheer"
"well, you know, I just needed more time for... drugs and alcohol," Sarah says to Denise, she notices Phoenix with the two drinks and asks "you really going to drink both of those?"
"one's for Jon, but I can drink these and feel nothing, trust me on that" replies Phoenix, he then says to Sarah's disbelieving expression "in fact, I could drink that entire full keg over there and not get drunk, maybe a bit buzzed but that's about it" what he had said is overheard and someone asks "oh, really?" Phoenix turns to see a guy who then calls over "hey, this guy thinks he can drink an entire full keg and only get a little buzzed" pointing at Phoenix. The rest of the guests all don't believe Phoenix so Phoenix asks them "you don't believe that I can?"
"no, we don't," says one of the guys.
"We dare you to try though, in fact, I challenge you to do it," says another guy. Phoenix gets a sly smirk on his face and says "alright, I'll do it, how about you and I have a drinking competition, using the kegs, the person who drank the most wins, and when I finish the entire keg you have to streak, naked, through town, during the day when everyone is out and about"
"fine, and if I win and you don't finish it, you have to streak through town," says the guy. One of the party-goers then all starts to make bets on who will win, everyone claims that the other guy will win except Jon. Jordan, Sarah and Denise all stay out of it, well, Jordan is chosen to hold all of the bet money to hand over to the winner, Jon shakes his head and says "that idiot"
"who?" asks Sarah.
"the guy who challenged Phoenix, he's going to lose" replies Jon as Phoenix and the guy start drinking.
"It is true that Phoenix will win" they suddenly hear, they turn to see Cam, not that Sarah knows this.
"Cam!" exclaims Jon with a smile before he asks "what are you doing here?"
"I thought I'd check out what Phoenix is doing" replies Cam, he then says "only to find him drinking, again" he shakes his head a bit before shrugging his shoulders and mutters "at least he's not wearing the crop-top and short shorts"
"how do you know Phoenix is going to win?" Sarah asks Cam.
"Phoenix can keep up with Cana, she's Fairy Tail's heaviest drinker" replies Cam.
"Fairy Tail?" asks Jordan.
"a group that Phoenix has been in since he was nine" replies Jon as the guy who challenged Phoenix stops drinking, coughing heavily as Phoenix keeps drinking until the keg is empty. This shocks everyone at the party before Phoenix shrugs and says "I've been drinking like that since I was ten" he turns to the guy and says "never challenge someone you don't know, you never know what they can do" the guy nods, he accepts his defeat with dignity. Phoenix goes over to Jon who is counting all the money he won before he notices Cam and says "hey, Cam, what are you doing here?"
"I thought I'd come to see how you were, but if that bothers you, I can go"
"no, stay, join the party, have a drink," says Phoenix. One of the girls sees Cam and says "I love your hair" as she walks past.
"oh, my God, he is so hot," says another girl.
"I think I might go, actually," says Cam before he runs out the door. Sarah turns to Phoenix, Phoenix tells her that Cam is pretty shy at times, and doesn't like attention sometimes.
Sometime later Jon and Phoenix are outside, they are sitting down and talking about different things when Phoenix hears a crash sound, he gets up and runs into the party, Jon follows after him and they see Tag being held up by his shirt, Jon says "hey! Hey! What's going on?"
"mind your own business, Kent," says Wellnitz.
"excuse me" growls Phoenix. Tag's arm starts to vibrate again, and Tag gets away from Wellnitz running out of the party.
"what's going on?" asks Jordan.
"I don't know, I..." he turns to Wellnitz before he turns back and says "I'll go check on him" he then runs to find Tag, and Phoenix follows him, hand on one of his keys just in case.
After some time they are all back at the Kent Farm, Jordan and Jon talk in the bedroom before they head downstairs to find Clark, Lois and the boys' grandfather. The grandfather is about to say something when Clark says "he knows already, he's a friend of the boys"
"so, where's Tag now?" asks Jordan.
"he's with the doctors at the DOD" replies Clark.
"and apparently, they're taking really good care of him," says Lois.
"apparently?" asks Phoenix.
"did they say I did this to him?" asks Jordan.
"I had a team analyze that cell phone footage," says General Lane before he says to Jordan "your heat vision caused a blast, but there was another material present... a yellow phosphorescence, we think that may have triggered the boy's meta-human development"
"Can we see him?" asks Jon.
"well, son, DOD protocols are pretty strict, 24/7 monitoring, cover stories, transferring..." replies General Lane.
"what your grandpa's trying to say is that he's gonna go to a special school for kids with these sorts of abilities," Lois tells Jon. Jordan and Jon are surprised by this and are a bit excited too, Jon asks "wait, there's a special school for kids with powers?" he then says "that's pretty cool"
"no, it's not," says Jordan, he turns to his parents and asks "how many of these kids are there?"
"that's classified, but let's just say that-" says General Lane.
"Dad" interrupts Lois.
"look, guys, we have to be clear on something," says Clark before he asks "why did you wait so long to use the ELT? Why didn't you call me the minute you knew something was wrong" Jon and Jordan both turn to General Lane. Phoenix sums it up in two words "oh, shit" Phoenix then leaves the room and heads back to Hogwarts.
A few days later Phoenix is in Magnolia, he is at the guildhall, looking at the Job Request Board, looking for a good job to do since he has gotten antsy, he soon finds the perfect job for himself when he is called over by Master Makarov, Phoenix turns and heads over to Master Makarov and asks "what's up, Master?"
"Someone has requested you for a job, a normal job" replies Master Makarov.
"What kind of job?" asks Phoenix.
"destroy a weak dark guild full of rapists and capture the rapists, no killing" replies Master Makarov, saying the last bit sternly.
"I know, I know," says Phoenix before he asks "can I bring someone with me? Someone who is not a part of the guild but will possibly keep me in check?"
"who?" asks Mira as she comes up to the bar.
"a friend who can keep me in check, who also has Magic" replies Phoenix.
"this person can join you," says Master Makarov.
"I'll share the reward too, how much is the reward?"
"four million jewels"
"so, two million jewels each, sounds perfect," says Phoenix before he leaves and heads to Smallville to talk to Jon. Phoenix walks to the Kent house and knocks on the door, Jon answers the door, he is surprised that Phoenix is there and he asks "what are you doing here?" before he adds "I thought you were at school"
"I was but I got bored and decided to go to Magnolia and find a job to do, which I did, but I also found out that I was requested for a job too"
"requested for a job?" asks Jon.
"yeah, four million jewels to capture a dark guild of rapists" replies Phoenix before he asks "want to come with?"
"what? You want me to join you on the job?" asks Jon with a tone of surprise.
"yeah, I think you might be able to keep me in check, it's a normal job request"
"in check?" asks Jon.
"just in case I try to kill the rapists" replies Phoenix.
"kill them?" asks Jon sounding shocked.
"yeah, I hate rapists, I am more likely to torture and kill them than capture them, that's why I need someone to keep me in check," says Phoenix.
"Okay, I'll join you," says Jon before he asks "do I get some of the rewards too?"
"of course, and it'll be good practise for your magic too" replies Phoenix with a smirk. The two teenage boys take the port-key to Earth Land where they take the train to the town where the Dark Guild of rapists is, this dark guild is in no way affiliated with any of the Balem Alliance, something that is quite dangerous.
The two enter the mayor's office and are told where the Dark Guild is, the mayor also asks that they contain the damage to just the Dark Guildhall making Jon ask "why would you ask that?"
"Fairy Tail is known to be quite destructive, some of my guildmates can actually destroy an entire town, with my magic I can destroy an entire town, if I wanted, I'm very powerful"
