Rias and Sona were once again in the old school building being served Tea by Akeno.

"Do you think she will join one of our peerages?" Rias asked.

"Hmm, well, as a magician, it is more likely that she will request a contract with one of us," Sona said after a minute's pause.

Rias fell into thought about what they could offer Kuro to enter a contract and what, if anything, could convince her to join her peerage.

"What if she doesn't want a contract?" Rias asked with a small amount of concern.

"Depends as long as she isn't hostile to us, then it would be better to leave her alone. She is as strong as a middle-class devil. It would look bad for us to ask for help to deal with her, and I don't want to risk my peerage unless there isn't a choice," Sona said, finishing her tea.

Page Break

Kuro wasn't paying much attention to Issei, who was talking passionately about the girls in his class and their boobs. Instead, she was thinking about how she should deal with the devils. She wasn't going to join their peerage, and they had nothing that would make her want to join them.

That left either entering a contract with them or ignoring each other. Kuro wasn't averse to entering a contract. It would all depend on what they could offer to her.

Giver that her magic was different from every other magician in the world. Any offer about powerful magic would be pointless. Kuro guessed money wouldn't be too bad; while their family wasn't poor by any stretch, more money was always better.

Then again, Kuro didn't even know what magicians contracted to devils, even did she would have to make sure she knew what they were asking of her before she did sign any contract though worse come to worse, she could just project Rule Breaker and invalidate the contract.

Before Kuro could come up with conditions that she would want, they had already arrived back home. Kuro quickly ran up to her room to think more about how she was going to play tomorrow.

As Kuro sat down on the bed, Magical Ruby flew up infrount of her.

"Quest alert! Forbidden Romance and Knowledge.

Find out what happened to the High-Class devil Cleria Belial and the exorcist Masaomi Yaegaki." Ruby said, jumping up and down.

Kuro was sure she had heard of Masaomi Yaegaki but could remember exactly where she had heard the name.

"A devil and an exorcist, im sure that went down well, but what about the knowledge part?" Kuro asked herself out loud.

"Cleria must have been the devil overseeing the area before Rias and Sona, so maybe they know something about her. But if I had to guess, it wasn't the relationship that caused their death but most likely whatever knowledge they had acquired. What do you think, Ruby?"

"I only know things about magical girls, but a magical girl would go look at the scene of the crime," Ruby declared.

"What does that have to do with anything, I asked? The scene of the crime, we don't even know where that was or how long ago it was," Kuro said, shaking Ruby.

"ah, stop it im getting dizzy," Ruby said.

"You're a magic item. You can't get dizzy!" Kuro shouted, shaking Ruby more violently.

"Try the church. It was abandoned not long after your childhood friend left, wasn't it?" Ruby offered.

"That where I have heard the name! He was a friend of Irina's dad, and he had a holy sword in his house," Kuro exclaimed.

"Well, given that this town seems to be under the guardianship of devils if you wanted to hide something, then the church would be the best option," Ruby said, floating back down next to her.

"We will go tonight," Kuro said, pulling out all six of her class cards.

It's a shame that Mata Hari doesn't have presence concealment skill, or she would have been the perfect card to install for sneaking around. Not that her espionage skill isn't good, but it's better for getting information from people than sneaking around.

In the end, she decided to go as a base magical girl and pick the cards she would install depending on the situation.

"So, did you join any clubs, Kuro?" Miki Hyoudou asked over dinner.

"Yep, I joined the cooking and the swimming club," Kuro said as she dug into her mother's food. While it wasn't as good as her brother's, it was very close.

Kuro smiled in her room. It was time for her to mess with her brother. Kuro grabbed a bikini and pulled it on before sneaking down to the bathroom and slipping inside.

As expected, her brother's clothing was all in the basket.

"Onii-chan," Kuro called out smiling, hearing her brother fall down on the floor.

"Kuro, you can't come in im taking a bath," Issei said in a panic.

"But we always got baths together, Onii-chan," Kuro said mischievously as she slowly opened the door.

Kuro heard a splash as she opened the door. Issei was in the bath with his back facing the door sitting ramrod straight. Kuro padded over the shower area and sat down on the stool, and turned the water on.

"Something wrong, Onii-chan," Kuro asked as she ran her hair through the water.

"We are too old to be sharing a bath," Issei said, peeking over at Kuro.

"It's fine. I am wearing a bikini, Kuro said, looking down at her chest.

She hadn't noticed before, but she was much smaller than most other girls, and that wasn't even counting the devils like Rias. Kuro would have to admit that if becoming a devil helped her in the chest area, then she would be tempted to take the devils up on that offer.

"Onii-chan?" Kuro asked.

"Yes?" Issei asked with a sigh.

"How do I get bigger boobs?" Kuro asked Issei as he was most likely an expert on boobs, given how much he talks about them and the lengths he goes to peek on girls changing.

"What!" Issei shouted in surprise.

"How do I get bigger boobs?" Kuro asked him again.

"Well, I errr... I mean, there are pills that claim to make them bigger and massages that are meant to make them bigger.." Issei said awkwardly.

"Realy, how you massage them," Kuro asked with a mischievous smile that Issei couldn't see.

"What errr, I ask mom," Issei said, panicked.

"Why would mom know her boobs are not small," Kuro asked, tilting her head to the side in a confusing manner.

"Can you show me how to do it, please," Kuro asked, pouting at her brother.

"I errr, I mean I shouldn't," Issei said with a bit of reluctance with a small hint of lust.

"No one else will know, and you're just teaching me the once," Kuro said, pulling her bikini top off.

"Just once," Issei said, taking a nervous swallow as he grabbed a towel and got out of the bath.

Slowly approaching, his sister Issei gulped as he saw Kuro's small perky breasts and the cherry pink nipples. Kuro felt Issei's hands on her small chest as he started to rub her chest.

Kuro had never felt bad about her body before but meeting Rias had dealt her a blow, and part of her wondered if she and Illya had more tempting bodies, would Shiro have found them more appealing.

The same situation seemed to be happening with Issei. He was obsessed with boobs and went to great lengths to peek at girls as they got changed and would no doubt do the same at Kuoh Academy.

Yet he had never once tried to peek at her. Maybe her body was really that unappealing, something that Kuro found uncomfortable to think.

Kuro got lost in thought and let out a hiss as Issei squeezed her chest too hard.

"Sorry," Issei said quickly and went back to massaging them.

Kuro hoped that they would get bigger and made a note to check out the other girls in the class in the hope that she was not small, but devils just had lustful bodies.

Kuro let out a sigh as her chest was massaged. Before flinching at the feeling, Issei licks her breasts and started to suck on her nipples.

Kuro's eyes snapped open and pushed Issei away as she felt a tingle run through her body.

Kuro gave an unimpressed look to her brother as he froze, looking up at her, his mouth on her chest.

"You just couldn't help yourself, could you," Kuro asked as Issei fell back in surprise at what he had done in the heat of the moment.

"I err Kuro..." Issei said before sprinting out of the room in embarrassment.

Kuro looked down at her chest and pouted. "They are not any bigger."

Kuro was sitting in her room, waiting for everyone one else to sleep so that she could sneak out and investigate the church.

"You know we could have just used a sleeping drug?" Ruby asked as they waited.

"I am not drugging my family Ruby," Kuro said, annoyed at the idea of drugging her parents and brother.

Kuro waited till midnight and got out of bed.

"Ruby, let's do this," Kuro said with a tiny bit of reluctance.

"Maximizing Mirror World connections!" Ruby said as the world around Kuro turned into a golden bubble.

Crystal shards floated around her as her body was covered in a sparkling purple fluid.

Kuro's hands and arm were covered before solidifying into pink gloves and pink feathers scattered around from the gloves forming with white gloves with gold trim covering her hands.

The magic flowed down her body, creating a magic girl top and skirt before a pink cape formed, covering her back.

"Nice, now your look like a magical girl," Ruby proclaimed as the tights and shoes finished forming and Ruby turned into a Kaleidostick.

"Kaleid Liner, Prisma Kuro!" Ruby called out as the transformation was finished.

Kuro just let out a sigh. She was sure that they didn't have to do that whole song and dance to enter Prisma mode, but Ruby refused to hear anything about it and said that magical girls had to transform like that.

"Could you at least make the costume ruby red instead of pink, and don't you dare say you can't you made Illya's costume ruby red!" Kuro said, annoyed that her costume we almost entirely pink other than the skirt and gloves, which were white.

"Nope, pink suits your magical girl form," Ruby denied immediately.

"Yea, yea," Kuro said, not paying any attention to yet another magical girl lecture.

Kuro leapt out of her window and flew into the sky, and slowly turned invisible. She couldn't imagine how normal people would react to seeing magic, gods, devils, and monsters were all real.

Kuro quickly flew towards the abandoned church as it was the only place that she could think an exorcist would hide something.

The church quickly appeared. Surprisingly the church wasn't in as bad of a condition as Kuro was expecting it to be. The windows were all intact, and clean the grass surrounding the pathway to the church was all cut and well looked after.

Kuro floated down to the path and looked around. By all rights, the church should be showing some signs of neglect; the grass overgrown with weeds, the windows dirty.

Kuro looked around before looking to the left. It was small, but there was something wrong with the area just outside of the church.

"Come on out!" Kuro called, looking at the area in what she guessed was a barrier to stop people from noticing people there.

A warm and inviting laugh echoed in the night as two devils walked into the church grounds. Kuro wasn't sure about the rules of the treaty that the Angels, Fallen, and Devils had, but she was sure that entering a church was a no go for the other two factions.

"A friend of ours left something important in the church. Unfortunately, she died not too long ago. We would fetch it ourselves but given we are devils, it would cause some problems.

Could you please get it for us? We would be willing to reward you for your help," the devil said in a smarmy tone.

Kuro wasn't fooled for a moment by the slightly older looking devil. Given their power was below Rias and Sona but above the people in their peerages, she guessed they were middle-class devils.

Kuro wasn't sure what to do if she refused, then there was a good chance it would end up in a fight. The devils were clearly not meant to be here, given they had hidden in a barrier something they wouldn't need to do if they were acting above board.

Then again, there was nothing wrong with seeing what they wanted. If they wanted different things, then Kuro didn't have a problem with getting what they wanted as long as they paid her enough in exchange. It wasn't like she was with any one of the three factions.

"What are you after in the church?" Kuro asked the two devils.

"It was some files about a high-class devil. If people found them, it could be quite embarrassing for her," the devil said in a fake embarrassed tone as if he was embarrassed on behalf of this high-class devil.

All in all, Kuro had to admit that it was a very good backstory and was sure most people would fall for such a thing, but Kuro was a master at picking up on subtleties that people give away without knowing it.

That still left the mystery about why the church was still so well kept and looked after, and the answer was no doubt the reason that the two devils were asking her to enter the church.

"Well, if I see it while I am looking for what I am after, then I can return it for a sufficient reward," Kuro said, looking at the two devils carefully.

"Of course, that would be no problem. We can come to an arrangement for payment either in material goods or money," the devil said.

Kuro saw the malice in his eyes, and she was sure that the reward would be them trying to kill her. She was sure they expected her to be weak after leaving the church.

Kuro walked up to the church expecting to be attacked the entire way but to her surprise, she wasn't attacked. She couldn't even feel herself being watched even though she could feel someone in the church with energy on par with a low-class devil.

Not that Kuro trusted that. After all, he could be hiding his power, or he may not be a magic user, which is why his magic would be so low.

Kuro pushed the door open and stepped inside. The church had a creepy feeling to it. There were no electric lights, and everything was lit by candlelight, throwing endless shadows in the church.

Stood at the church's altar reading a bible was a tall man in his late 20s or maybe early 30s. He had brown eyes and bronze coloured hair that flowed down to his waist. Then man also has a sword strapped to his waist that had an aura of holy power.

That would explain why the two devils outside wouldn't risk fighting the man. Any form of Holy element was dangerous to even high-class devils.

The man was wearing bronze colour armour from his neck to his feet, and on top of the armour was a white garment with a red stripe running down the length of it.

Kuro knew from the moment that she had laid eyes on him that the man was a heroic spirit that had manifested outside from his card.

"Have you come here on behalf of the heathens?" the man asked, putting down the bible.

They both stared at each other for a moment as Kuro tried to see if she knew him. Even with the sword, she wasn't sure what his class was for asking the man for what she came for was pointless. He was a class card, and she would acquire them all. She had seen the damage they could cause.

"Yes and no, but that doesn't matter now," Kuro said, projecting Kanshou and Bakuya into her hands.

The man pulled out his sword, which was a dark blue blade with some golden runes at the base of the blade.

"My name is Saint Georgios, the dragon slayer," Saint Georgios said with a large amount of pride before he dashed forward without waiting for Kuro to reply.

Kuro quickly applied a mana bush and clashed against Georgios, sparks erupting as the three blades clashed. Kuro quickly lept back into the air and threw both of her blades at Georgios, who deflected them with ease.

As Kuro came back down to the ground, she poured mana into her hand and fired a Gandr: Finn shot a bullet of highly compressed magic with the same lethality as a rifle bullet. Kuro was surprised to see that Georgios didn't even bother trying to dodge the magic spell or deflect it as it connected with him.

She soon noticed why he must have high magic resistance as the spell did nothing to him. Although it wasn't a powerful piece of magic, it was still C+ rank magecraft.

Kuro quickly decided that spells wouldn't help her here. She only knew basic runes and Jewel Magecraft she had learned from Rin, and she didn't have any jewels on her.

Kuro quickly projected another copy of Kanshou and Bakuya before throwing them at Georgios before, teleporting behind him and making another copy and throwing them at his back. And teleporting above him with a third copy of the blades and pushing off the roof with a mana bust to take him down while busy with the other four blades.

Kuro had a smile on her face, sure that fight was over, and she had won and gotten a new class card. Even if she didn't find what she was looking for, it was still a good night for her.

Kuro was surprised that Georgios was able to deflect the four blades that she had thrown at him but was far too late to notice Kuro herself and felt her two blades bite into his back and carve two deep gashes down his back.

Kuro twisted out of the way of Georgios sword as she heard it slicing through the air towards where she had landed before landing where she first had started their fight.

Georgios was on the ground, surrounded by an ever-growing pool of blood around him. Kuro was surprised that he hadn't faded and turned back into a class card with such large wounds inflicted.

Georgios stood up slowly and grabbed his sword before raising it parallel with the ground.

"Ascalon!" Georgios shouted, activating his Noble Phantasm.

Kuro was caught off guard that he was still able to muster enough power to activate his Noble Phantasm.

The dark blue blade erupted into a golden light, and the holy aura skyrocketed, and almost in an instant, the man was in front of her on an ethereal white horse.

Kuro threw away any idea about fighting his Noble Phantasm with her own and brought magical Ruby up.

"Prisma barrier!" Kuro shouted as a crystalized shield formed in front of her.

The first blow from Georgios caused tiny hairline fractures to form on the barrier that soon healed back up from Kuro pumping magic into the barrier.

The second blow seemed to be even more powerful and caused larger cracks to form, and before Kuro could push enough magic to fix the cracks, the third and what looked like the final strike was already heading towards the barrier and herself.

Kuro jumped back as the barrier cracked like an eggshell, and Kuro teleported away and appeared on the other side of the church next to the altar and let out a sigh of relief that she had avoided his final attack.

"I hope you know what you're doing siding with those heathens. They will backstab you in a moment," Georgios wheezed out, falling to his knees.

"Of course, they will try, but I never trusted them for a single moment, so when they try, they will die," Kuro said as she walked next to Georgios.

Georgios fell to the ground with a slight smile and turned to magical sparkles, and his class card floated where his body had fallen.

Kuro grabbed up the card and wasn't surprised to feel the two devils enter the church now that the person protecting it was gone and the holy aura of his swords had also vanished.

The youngest lept and pulled a sword out and tried to bring it down on her head as she was faced away from him.

"Include," Kuro whispered before spinning around and cutting the shocked devil in half with the holy sword Ascalon. Kuro ignored the blood that splashed on her and teleported next to the older devil, who had started to run away once she had pulled out the holy sword.

"Running the moment something goes wrong, how cowardly," Kuro said in disdain as she brought the sword down on the man cutting his head off with a single clean slash.

Kuro turned around and ignored the two bodies on the floor and walked around checking the church for anywhere documents could be hidden, but even after an hour of looking, she wasn't able to find any documents at all in the church.

"Maybe nothing is here?" Kuro asked Ruby.

"They have to be here. Where else could they hide sensitive documents?" Ruby asked back.

"A safe box?" Kuro said rhetorically.

"What about underground?" Ruby asked.

"Underground? There is no cellar," Kuro said, confused.

"I am detecting an underground area," Ruby said.

Kuro started looking around the room for false walls or floor tiles, only to be disappointed that none of them was loose and none of the walls moved.

Only to hit the jackpot with the alter, which had a slight wobble when she tried pushing it.

"JACKPOT!" Ruby called out excited as Kuro pushed the altar all the way to the left, leaving a man-size hole in the floor that had steps leading down.

Kuro grabbed one of the large candles and walked down the stairs. The chamber was large and opened with two tunnels leading off to the side that seemed the best place for her to look.

The first tunnel just led to some bedroom areas that, after a look around. Kuro was sure there was nothing around. Even checking the floors and walls had no secret areas.

Leaving that tunnel, Kuro walked down the other tunnel, more nervous if the documents weren't hidden here then. Kuro had no idea where to start looking as they could be hidden anywhere in the town. They may even have been hidden in the underworld.

Entering the last room and Kuro thought it looked more promising from her first glance. The room was a large office, the perfect place for someone to hide important documents.

Kuro placed the candle on the desk and started to check the files on the desk, most of them to be about the church, all of them dating back ten years ago.

Most of the reports were actually done by Touji Shidou, the father of her's and Issei's childhood friend Irina. Interestingly enough, she had even found a few reports where she was mentioned by Touji Shidou in reference to her large amount of mana.

It was the last document that was the most interesting for Kuro, as it mentioned, was a letter from Masaomi to Cleria warning her that the church had been informed about their relationship, but he evidently never got to finish the letter as it just stopped halfway.

But no research from Cleria. Kuro looked around the room and checked parts of the floor and the wall only to find nothing. Kuro sat back down in the chair and looked around the room.

Thinking about where she would hide some documents if she was hiding files for a devil in a church. It would be somewhere that she was sure that the people of the church wouldn't think of looking. Almost subconsciously, her eyes were drawn to the statue of the Angel in the corner of the room.

Kuro walked over to the statue and started by checking the base of the statue and found a folder hidden in a secret compartment.

Kuro picked the file up and noticed this one had a crest on it, unlike all of the other folders that were just blank with no marking on them at all. Kuro sat back down and started to read through the file, hoping that it was what she was looking for.

Kuro was sure this was the reason that Masaomi and Cleria were killed if what the report and research were true, then it was a secret that many devils would kill to keep secret.

The report was of Cleria's discovery of a so-called "King Piece" that would increase the demonic power of a devil anywhere from 10 times to 100 times.

Kuro could imagine that if the Fallen and Angels found out about this, the great war would start up again. The danger of the so-called King piece was too big for them to ignore.

Cleria's research then went on to say that she thought the Great King Faction had some of these so-called King pieces and used them to manipulate the Rating Games.

While the report didn't mention any names of who had the so-called king piece, no doubt Cleria didn't know herself. Kuro would guess that some of the people in the top five had a King piece.

Kuro could only groan at the start of this questline. If the Great King's faction learned that she had this knowledge, they would no doubt try and have her killed as well.

Kuro packed all the documents that Cleria had gathered and placed the letter into the file as well and left the room and walked back into the church, and covered the hole up again with the alter before burning the two bodies of the devils.

Kuro was now sure that they were sent by the Great King's factions just in case there was any knowledge left behind about the King's pieces. Kuro quickly returned home.

Sitting in her room Kuro wasn't sure what to do with the file that she had found as her eyes drifted over to Ruby, who must have been waiting for Kuro to look at her.

"Ding Ding!" Ruby called out before turning into a screen.

Belial Clan Questline

1. Retrieve Cleria Belial's research and find the cause of her death. Objective complete.

2. Hand over what you found to Diehauser Belial

3. Find the current users of the King piece.

4. Help Diehauser get justice for his cousin's death.

5. ?

6. ?

"Oh ya, I will just ring him up," Kuro said sarcastically, seeing the second part of the questline.

There was no way that Kuro could just ask to meet him. It would only be a few days before the Great Kings faction noticed that the two devils in this area were killed, and if she tried to contact someone from the Belial family, they would be able to put two and two together.

Thankfully if she made a contract with Rias and Sona, it shouldn't be impossible to ask one of them to get in contact with the Belial family after she judged if they were trustworthy. If not, she would have to find some other way.

As for the second objective, Kuro knew that they would have to be ultimate class devils given the 10 times to 100 times power boost and getting a list of people in the rating games that were in the top 10 and ultimate class wouldn't be that hard.

The third part of the quest was going to be far more difficult. Kuro had no idea what devils counted as justice, and if this was done by a powerful faction, it would be even harder to get justice for Cleria, and that wasn't including that her killer was a member of the church.

Kuro placed the files under the floorboards before crawling into bed. Not only did she have school tomorrow, but she also had a contract to negotiate with a devil.
