This pharmacy is the best job ever. They are so nice to me here. The staff are not the only nice thing here. She still comes everyday and looks as beautiful as the day before.
Her hair a mess, miss matching clothes, and oh those tired eyes that hold so much emotion. Gosh how I would love to stare into them. Wait how am I looking into them right now...OH GOD SHE IS STANDING HERE!
"I am not here!" I drop behind the desk as she laughs "Can we pretend I did not just stare into your eyes for a long time?"
"Why not?" I look up to see her leaning over the counter above me "How are you Eliza? Finally able to talk with the lady who just stares and checks me out..in more ways than one I mean"
"Oh god you have noticed!" I hear my coworkers laughing and groan "Can you just put me out of my misery? My old heart can not take it"
"Darling you are a few years older than I" I stand up slowly and Shelby smiles "There is the gorgeous cashier that I come here to see everyday"
"You come to see me?" Control your heart before you have a heart attack "Really?"
"You think I enjoy buying random items?" I smile as I feel heat rush across my face "I came to invite you and your colleagues to the opening show this weekend! Rachel's kids have been putting in the work and Beth is in it too!"
"We will be there!" I give a grateful smile to Angela "My daughter enjoys Rachel's teaching so much"
"Broadway star and Tony winner teaching your kids is amazing!" Georgia shakes her head with a smile "Especially at the price she has set for everyone! She makes it so easy!"
"I will tell her you all enjoy and will be coming!" I turn and Shelby winks at me "I shall see you later"
I nod and roll my eyes when the girls all ooo behind me. I shake my head and playfully glare at them. I turn back when I hear music start up. Why do they insist on music for everything here?

"These are for you!" Quinn hands me a bouquet and a card "We do telegrams you raise money"
"I will be making a size able donation for this!" All of the kids cheer and Quinn gives a grateful smile "Thank you all"
The kids leave and I look at the card. It has a heart on the front of it. The red roses smell amazing and this is so sweet. I have never been so lucky to have something like this.
'This is just the first of many things gorgeous. I am going to spoil you in anyway I can. The girls have all said how kind and sweet you are. Can not wait to taste, I mean test that last part out.
I bet you see blushing so bad right now. You deserve the world in my opinion and I will give it to you. Just give me a fair chance ok? I have been broken before and finally am getting fixed up.
Just let me take you out after the show. I have a sitter for Beth and reservations for us. What do you say? Look up and tell me please.'
"So?" I look up and see Shelby looking very nervous "Is it a yes or a no? I will not hate your family or you if you say no!"
"It is a one hundred percent yes!" She smiles happily and the girls cheer behind me "I will be waiting in anticipation for our date"
Shelby nods and skips out of the pharmacy. I get hugs and high fives from the girls around me. This earth has been such a change for me. I have loved every second of it.
Is it bad I never want to leave here?
