-Chapter 10-Life on another earth-

-Kelly pov-

I look around as everyone comes back home. Lena has bought a nice apartment floor. She spent so much she was able to remodel it. Meaning it looks like shit right now.

I sigh as I trip on a paint can again. I have been cleaning all day! I have had the worst luck getting a job! I can get into no schools because I do not exist completely!

Nia has been better off as passing for a orphan. I do not though. So I just am a damn bum living in this place! I just want to be of use.

"Well I see everyone seems happy!" They all nod and I finally notice someone missing "Uhh where is Alex?"

"So I know we have not been together long but" I turn and see her holding a huge towel in front of something "Do not get mad please!"

"MOMMY!" I am soon tackled into a tight hug "You are going to be my new mommy! I can not believe I finally get a nice home...you are nice right?"

"The best" Kara helps get the girl off me "How about we let Momma and Mommy talk ok? Want to meet your grandma?"

"I HAVE A GRANDMA?!" The girl jumps up in excitement "THIS IS THE BESTEST DAY EVER!"

"Mommy?" I stand up and move over to Alex "What the hell?! You do not think about calling me?! Why did you decide to just do this without my consent?! This is not just your life Alex! You now are effecting three people lives! Who said I even wanted a kid right now?"

"Y-you do not want me?" I turn to see the girl in tears and Kara behind her some "I dropped my toy...can I go back to the home?"

"Yeah" Alex frowns and holds out her hand "Let's go"

"Thank you" She walks toward Alex but stops and looks up at me with a sad smile "Thanks for letting me feel happiness Mam..sorry I could not be what you wanted"

Alex takes the girls hand and they start walking toward the door. Something in my heart is breaking apart. I think it is just my whole heart breaking apart. I always wanted a baby girl but...but I wanted my family here to see her too.

"WAI~"

I get rocked by a huge explosion behind me. I fly and hit a wall hard. I groan and turn slowly to see a open portal. It is what we came in through.

"Yes!" J'onn comes through in a partial transformation "Girls! I do not have much time but...here are the plans! Things have gotten bad at home and we need you all to stay here!"

"B-but we can come back!" Kara starts walking toward J'onn "I can help!"

"No!" J'onn hands Kara the plans for the machine "Stay here and live your lives"

"This can not be it" Kara starts to shake "I can not lose you too"

"Do not cry" J'onn places a hand on Karas cheek "You have family here! I can see you have found love and happiness! You all have and I know this is the best place for you...burn those plans Kara..I love you all"

Kara and Alex are quick to hug J'onn. I turn and see the little girl is scared. I look at J'onn who nods with a smile. I turn back and slowly make my way to her.

"You are a foster kid huh?" She does not look at me and nods "Your parents give you up?"

"Just today he signed me off" I see a tear form "I do not want you to lose your family"

"You worry about us losing our family while a portal is here?" She nods and I pull her into a hug "You have a big heart love...you will never have to worry again ok? We will protect you ok? Your momma and me got you"

"Mommy?" I pull back and nod with a smile "Mommy!"

She hugs me again and I smile tearfully. I look at the portal and see J'onn nod. He lets the girls go and leaves us. The portal soon closes and we are left in silence.

-J'onn pov-

"Did you see them?" I nod and look at James "Is she happy?"

"Perfectly" I go into his mind and show him what I saw "She wanted you to see"

"She will be happy with them" James wipes a tear as the shooting gets closer "Come on..We have a world to save or die trying"

"Exactly" I push him out the door and lock it "Which is why I have to destroy the DEO! Clark is out there and needs your help! Let him come to me and just save everyone!"

"J'onn there has to be another way!" I shake my head and James hits the glass "I am coming back for you!"

I nod and he runs away "You know this will not go either way" I nod and turn to see Lex "Kara left and this is my world now! The Luthors got their win!"

"Your mom has cancer and you do too" I can see his jaw tighten "Kryptonite has weakened you! How long do you think you would reign before you both die? Who would reign after you two huh?"

"Finally out thought huh?" He sits on the portal floor and looks me in the eyes "Show me she is happy"

I move and place a hand on his head. I show all the memories I got and tears fall down his face. I hand him the detonator as I step back. We share a nod and he pushes the button.

-James pov-

I am outside when the DEO explodes. Fire pours from everything it can. I turn and see Clark shake his head. All of our hero friends have come to help us.

"You lost Luthor" Clark lands and the troops put their guns down "Lex is dead"

"He was weak" Lilian raises her gun "I am not!"

Before we can blink the gun is broken. Lillian is the first arrested. I watch them all get loaded up and turn toward the destroyed building. I sigh and look as the fire is put out slowly.

"Stay safe Kelly..I will see you again"
