Ok I need to just calm down. Everything is going to be alright. The girls are going to be there! Minus the fact they all canceled just now!
Oh god, I am freaking out! Wait is that a comic book? Why does it have Kara's hero name on it? Wait is supergirl existence known?
"Mom what are you doing?" I turn and show Alex the book "Esme!"
"Yes?" I show the book to my granddaughter and she smiles "There it is!"
"Who is Supergirl baby?" Esme tilts her head confused "Esme please can granny know who super girl is?"
"Her name is Kara Zor-El! She comes from krypton!" I hear a intake and see everyone listening closely "Is this a bad book? Sorry I will get rid of it! Please just do not get rid of me!"
"No we are just surprised is all" everyone nods and she visibly relaxes "You know how we had that portal and stuff? Well aunt Kara is Kara Zor-El"
"Really?!" Esme is immediately on Kara looking in awe "Can you do anything like the book says?! Have you fought Darkseid? Have you really had a relationship with a male horse?"
"A male what?!" I start looking through the book with Alex "What are you children reading nowadays?"
"Mom go one your date" Kara walks over and grabs the book "We will figure out what is known of me here"
"I can stay if I really need to" They shake their heads and I sigh as the doorbell rings "Alright...well I will be back!"
They all wave and head to the door "I got this" I smile as I open the door "Date hi I am here you for!"
"Scared too huh?" She groans and nods "How about take we there on way"
She laughs and I grab her hand as we leave. I do not want to leave them but I have a life too. I have refused to get back out there. Now I have a chance to live a normal and happy life again.
I will embrace this full heartedly.

"We are leaving" I pull my hand from hers and she shakes her head "Fine"
"Wait!" She leaves and I sigh before following her out "Why are you being like this?!"
"BECAUSE YOU OBVIOUSLY DO NOT WANT TO BE HERE WITH ME!" I frown and shake my head confused "DO NOT LIE! JUST GO BACK AND LET ME GO!"
"No I want to watch the show with you!" I can see the pharmacy girls watching and realize they moved seats for our date "Please just come on ok?"
"You have been in your head all night" Shelby turns as a tear falls "If I am that ugly or bad of a date then please just tell me"
"MY DAUGHTERS WERE HAVING A HUGE CRISES AND I AM SCARED OF LEAVING THEM CAUSE I HAVE NOT IN YEARS!" Shelby looks at me again and I sigh "I lost my husband and I have been with the girls since...I am afraid that going out will cause some weird thing to happens and I will not be there for them"
"Oh Eliza" Shelby walks over and hugs me "I am so sorry for snapping at you..I should have just talked"
"I did not make it easy" I look at where the pharmacy girls were and see they have left "Sorry for ruining our first date and I understand if you do not want another one"
"A date goes until you go home" Shelby pulls back with a smile "How good are you at bowing?"
I smile and we laugh as we hold hands. We are like two school girls right now. I have never felt so free in my life. Maybe it is time for me to finally let go.
