After days of the meeting, reading, and signing duties, at long last, the Royal Navy fleet finally arrived at their destination: Port Felixstowe. They successfully achieved their original goal: to deliver the extracted oil to their base.
No one would anticipate a commission can result in Siren and Iron Blood assaults. With the change of commander, the capture of an Iron Blood Kansen, and King George V's arrival, things had escalated too much in such a short period.
Queen Elizabeth, Warspite, Unicorn, and Victorious have stood at the port to welcome the Royal Navy's return. Her majesty ordered the greatest quality of decorations, music bands, and falling flower petals since the Royal Navy essentially achieved a victory against Siren and Iron Blood, their nemesis.
Arthur and the accompanying Kansens bowed in front of Queen Elizabeth.
"You must be our emergency commander, Arthur Mandelson, correct?" asked Queen Elizabeth.
"Yes, that is my name, your majesty."
"I have been waiting to hear your bravery. Now, my royal maids have prepared an afternoon tea party. You all should come. Belfast, Hermione, and Sheffield go check if everything is ready."
"As you wish, your majesty," replied the royal maids. They left the Kansens first.
"While they are making their final checks, let me show you around this port. Have you been to this country before?" asked Queen Elizabeth
"I am afraid not, your majesty," replied Arthur.
"No need to worry about your formality, you are a hero to us. In that case, we have much to see. Oh, I almost forgot."
Queen Elizabeth turns to Hood and King George V.
"You already know this town so touring must be boring for you. Why not go to the dorm and have a deep cleansing? You have my permission to use the great royal bath along with all the beauty services. Tell this to your fellow fleets too."
"Thank you for your kindness and generosity, your majesty," replied Hood and King George V. The rest of Kansens bow to show their appreciation.
The great royal bath contains a massive bathtub that can almost be mistaken as a swimming pool, except the water is raging hot and filled with a mild herbal scent. After bathing, one can use beauty services such as full-body massages or professional hair care.
As members of the royal family, Queen Elizabeth and Warspite can enjoy this luxury every day, but not for other Kansen, even Hood. Important members like Hood and King George V have their rooms that include an outstanding bathroom, but those rooms are a joke in front of the great royal bath.
The Kansens happily take their rides to the dorm. Only Queen Elizabeth, Warspite, and Arthur left in this area.
Queen Elizabeth leads Arthur to a cafe at the border of the port. It is peaceful and quiet.
The three of them sit in a corner. Queen Elizabeth ordered Earl Gray.
"I like to drink tea here when I am bored or frustrated with my work," said Queen Elizabeth
"I see, I also like to do the same," agreed Arthur.
"Say, what do you think about the Royal Navy, our ladies are gorgeous and skilled right?" asked Queen Elizabeth
"Indeed, I have lost count of how many times they helped me and treated me well. I almost felt I did not deserve such kindness."
"Now, there is no need to be humble about yourself," Queen Elizabeth takes a quick sip of her tea.
"I know, I am just repaying the favor I owe to them, especially Hood."
"Right, our Pride of the Royal Navy must have been through quite a lot. She has been devoting everything she can to become the most elegant lady in the Royal Navy, but…" said Queen Elizabeth with a bit of hesitation.
"She has been suppressing her desires because she thinks following desires are what barbarians do. However, I can sense her desire for glory and being number 1 in the Royal Navy."
Arthur did not know Hood holds such secret
"May I ask the reason you are telling me about this?"
"Hood has changed, just a little. She did not when Commander Joseph was present. In fact, she seemed to be getting more emotional. I suspect you must have changed her in some way."
"I am not sure which part of me is worth learning, but I am happy to oblige if my behaviors can help her."
Arthur describes the events during the entire commission.
"You treated Hood as an overseer. She didn't participate in battle much but rather handled afterward and gave orders."
"You treated her not just better, but also differently. You didn't only talk, but also brought victories to the Royal Navy. Perhaps she wants to follow your example."
"I think she is fine as she is. Following a stranger like me won't help you learn much."
"Right, you are a stranger, which brings me to a question. Who are you?"
"I am afraid I still cannot remember much about myself, but I believe I might have served in an army somewhere else. Please accept my apologies since my answer cannot satisfy your question."
"Hmm… I understand."
"Next question, do you wish to become our official commander? Just so you know, even if you say yes, a certain formal process is required so I cannot guarantee your wish."
"My goal was to improve the lives of the Kansens who were harmed by Commander Joseph. It is naturally acceptable that everyone considers me suspicious and treated me badly, but they didn't. Words cannot express my gratitude."
Arthur pauses for a second, "if I can spend more time with them by becoming a real commander, yes, I will gladly try to become one."
"Fantastic, thank you for your honest answer. Now as I said, a certain formal process is required. Until then, well, look forward to tomorrow. Today you shall be our guest. Come, the tea party should be ready soon. Warspite, I will leave the transportation to your hand."
Queen Elizabeth, Warspite, and Arthur left the cafe. Warspite drives a VIP car with Queen Elizabeth and Arthur as passengers.
The Royal Navy Dorm
Despite the building being a dorm, its aesthetic in both exterior and interior looks like a royal palace. It has a flower garden and a set of tables and chairs for afternoon tea parties. This dorm is located on a hill outside of the town so visitors can enjoy a view of the ocean sunrise and sunset.
Is it a palace? A resort? Maybe both.
"I thought humans dislike your kind. Why would they allow you to own something like this?" asked Arthur
"Oh, you will know soon enough."
Queen Elizabeth leads Arthur and Warspite inside the building. Manjuu guards who stand in front of the door greeted her and let the party inside.
"Welcome back, your majesty, master," Belfast and the rest of the royal maids bow and greet Queen Elizabeth and Arthur.
"Is everything ready?" asked Queen Elizabeth
"Yes, at your command, your majesty," replied Belfast
"Ok then," Queen Elizabeth knocks on the floor with her staff's endpoint two times. Everyone at the party looks at her.
"Welcome home, my royal servants. You brought us honor and glory with your efforts. As your queen, I must reward you accordingly. How was your bathing? I hope you like it."
The Kansens look anew where their skin shines and their hair looks smooth.
Manjuus horizontally aligned tables behind Queen Elizabeth. On the empty tables, they cover the tables with white tablecloths. This setup builds everyone's anticipation which will transform into a seasoning spice.
Here comes the main show. Manjuu waiters form a line and walk toward the table. Each of them carries a main dish, making them a total of 7. Sliced ribeye steaks from the whole meat, fried chicken wings and legs with a variety of sauces, and roasted pork butt with rosemary, thyme, and sage spices. Roasted brussels sprouts, stuffed mushroom, and white corn with BBQ sauce.
They put those dishes on the tables. Each dish is covered inside a heating pot so they keep their ideal temperature for a while.
Besides the main dish, slices of bread, salads, and fruits are available on large rectangular plates.
The Manjuus also carried dozens of bottles and cans of imported Soda, sparkling water, and drinking water.
A Manjuu brewmaster stands at another set of tables to serve freshly brewed tea from the finest quality of tea leaves.
Truly a feast of celebration. Arthur is amazed by Queen Elizabeth's hospitality.
"Now, let's get this party started. No need to worry about formality here. Eat and drink to your heart's pleasure," announced Queen Elizabeth.
Destroyer Kansens begin to fill their plates with different kinds of food. Heavier Kansens take things more slowly by going through all available dishes and planning what food they need in order.
"The Royal Navy sure has some massive wealth," said Arthur. This feast represents the wealth that the Royal Navy has. Perhaps these are only the tip of the iceberg.
"Enjoy yourself today. As I already said, forget about formalities and manners for now. Those who work hard deserve a suitable reward."
Arthur joins the party as well. He chats with Kansens and enjoys the scent of the finest tea.
The surrounding deep ocean of Port Felixstowe
Purifier rides behind a lurker to patrol this area. She leads a large number of mass-produced models of submarines.
According to the Observer, Observer Zero is pleased to see the current progress of this simulation. "Both an iron stick and a sweet snack are necessary for the guest," commented Zero.
Now is the time for the snack, not the stick. Therefore, no one should dare interfere with the guest's time for snacks.
Anyone who attempts to interrupt will face a swarm of Siren torpedoes.
