EPISODE ONE

A NEW ED

In a forest near the city of Atlanta three boys were exploring the woods trying to get into the wonders of nature... well one of them anyway the other two coudn't care less. The tallest one was reading a comic book, while the shortest one was just kicking the dirt bored out of his mind.

The three boys where from Peach Creek a small town they were well known simple as the Eds due to them having some version of Ed as a name, the tallest was Ed, the shortest was Eddy, and the medium one was Edd but everyone called him Double D to avoid confusion. They were all in Atlanta on a school field trip.

The more intrested one was wearing a orange shirt,cyan shoes, red knee high socks, and a black ski hat with two white lines on both sides he was using a magnifying class to get a close look at a bug.

"Isnt nature exhilarating my friends! The fresh air, the beauty of the plants and animals, the bugs, the call of nature!"

"But I don't hear any ringing Double D maybe they left a message?" Said the one reading a comic book it was a comic about zombies called Revenge of the Undead!, He was wearing a dark olive green jacket, red and white striped shirt, baggy blue pants, and some black shoes.

"Don't worry Ed I already answered it right behind that tree." Said the short one he wore a yellow shirt with a vertical red stripe, light blue pants with a wallet chain, and some basic red shoes.

"The only thing about this whole nature thing is boring. I hoped when we came to Atlanta I would get some new crazy ideas for scames but I haven't found squat for ideas and these woods sure aren't helping."

"Well you can't say Atlanta wasn't boring Eddy with all those cops and vehicels, I really liked those helicopters never seen one before!" "Maybe the undead had comeback for revenge just like in my comic book" Ed said with a hint of glee.

"Lets hope not Ed but I do hope the officers can figure out whats wrong and fix it posthaste."

"Also Come on Eddy life is not all about scames and money we should appreciate the small things and wonder of nature after all one can always learn about-"

"Whats that... I think it's the sound of no one caring." Eddy sarcastically said only to begin really hearing something. "Huh, you guys hear that?"

"Hahaha really funny Eddy I won't be insulted like-." Double D stopped as he really did start to hear something. Like some yelling for help or just yelling in general.

"Whats that sound guys do you think it's the leader of the undead Sam the Zombie and his companions. Do you think he would give me an autograph!" Ed said with a hint of glee.

"No Lumpy thats the sound of someone asking for help come on guys if we help them, they may give us some money for jawbreakers since they will be grateful". Eddy said while rubbing his hands together.

"Well Eddy right action wrong intentions but yes we should help after all it's the right thing to do let's go gents."

"Yeah butter toast!"

"Hey wait for me guys!"

After 15 minutes of light jogging which only 5 of was enough for Double D to get winded they final reach the source of the sound. Now when the Eds heard yelling they expected at best someone lost and at worst some one caught in a bear trap or attack by a wild animals what they weren't expecting was a entire crashed police car from the road and what looks to be a body.

"Oh dear, This does not look good gents what exactly happen here, the police are well train to avoid accidents so what could have happened here." All of a sudden the passanger window was busted out.

The Eds see someone crawl out of the window and fall straight down on his back the man was dark skined, wore a blue overshirt and white undershirt, a pair of blue jeans, and brown shoes, although the 2 most noticeable things about him were that his leg was badly injured and that he had handcuffs on which ment one thing, he was a criminal.

"Oh dear my friends the handcuffs, the police car this man is a criminal, Should we really be helping this ruffin what if he was arrested for was... murder." Double D whispered

"Listen Double D could he be a murderer yes, but what if he's a world renowed thief and has a bunch of money to spare just think about." Eddy said with greedy look in his eyes. "Also even if he is a murderer look at that leg, he won't be able to catch us so quit worrying."

While Eddy was explaning this Ed in all his... Edness decides to just walk up the man to help not really caring about the circumstances, all he knew was someone needed help. "Hi there but has gravity become your enemy, here let me help you fight it's evil clutchs!"

Ed then lifts the stranger to his feet with no trouble with only one hand. "Come on guys he needs our help." The other Eds run over to help steady him

"Oh thank god wasn't expecting other people to be out here thank you, Names Lee and you?"

"I'm Ed it's nice to meet you new friend!"

"I'm Edd but with 2 d's but everyone calles me Double D, nice to meet you sir."

"And I'm Eddy the fearless leader of our little trio."

"Well it's nice to meet you three and thank you, I know the handcuffs and crashed police car is a bad sign but honest to god I won't hurt you so can you please get the keys to these cuffs."

"Well before we do that can you please tell us how this car crashed and why you were arrested to begin with? Because this is really suspicious." Double D said suspiciously.

"Well that's fair, so the car crashed because of an accident obviously, The officer was not paying attention and someone walked into the road by the time I said watch out he already hit him and we spun out of controll the wreck is the aftermath." "As for why I was arrested-"

Lee stopped and realised that telling three people that you murdered a state senator in a fit of rage for sleeping with your wife is not a really good way to convince them to unlock your handcuffs but he had to tell them something so he decided to down play his crime.

"I was arrested for assulting someone put them in the hosptital." Lee then grunt in pain, "Ahh and as you can tell in the crash I busted my leg so I can't really do much to you even if I wanted to."

"Hmmm, Well it's definitely not as bad as I imagined you don't seem like a bad person so I guess we can help you." Double D said this before turning to were the body was hopefully he was still alive but from the looks of the blood trail it wasn't looking good.

Double D walked to the officer to get the keys for lee, When he was close enough the hope this man was still alive was gone becasue it was clear he has been dead for a few hours with a terrible oder and his skin had begun to rot like a fruit, quickly picking up the keys to get away from the corpse soon Double D help lee unlock his handcuffs.

"Oh dear bad news gentlemen that officer has been dead for atleast a few hours from the smell and some of his skin has started to rot this is a very tragic turn of events."

Eddy,and Ed were shocked to hear this for the Eds it was the first time they have ever seen a dead body so it was a... unique exprience, Lee was a little shocked compared to the Eds but he decided to check the body to make sure he was really dead or by some chance still alive.

"Officer can you hear me?... Nothing the blood trail is a clear sign this man did not make it Lee was about to walk away until here heard groaning and noticed a twitch, Guhhh... "Uh officer?"

Next thing Lee knows the officer's corpse just jumps at him snarling like a wild animal this was enough of a shock for Lee to fall straight on his ass and for the Eds to scream in panic.

"Ahhh!, Holy shit! What in the hell!, What the fuck are you!?" Lee screams as he backed away from whatever this thing is. It sure can't be called human anymore that much is certain.

"What in sam hill is that thing!?" Double D screamed jumping on to the cop car to get some ground on this seemingly dead corpse.

"I don't know sockhead all I know is I'm not letting it get near me!" "Come on Ed do somethi-"

Ed then graps Eddy pulling into a hug out of fright and he needed something comforting because he knew what it was... because of his comic book.

"Oh no Eddy the undead have comeback for revenge just like my comic said, were doomed!"

"Your screaming in my ear lumpy!" "Get off me." Eddy tried to get out of Eds grip with no luck.

Lee has backed up as much as he could with the police car in the way keeping him from back peddling anymore. "Get away from us!" With no where to go Lee looks around for anything to keep this... thing away from them and as luck would have it he did the officer shotgun was lying just right next to him on his left side.

With no hesitation Lee grabs the shotgun and quickly spots a shotgun shell on his right he picks it up a tries to load it only for it to slipe out of his hands, "Shit!" Lee quickly pick it up again and this time is able to load the shell in and then pumps it and then points it at this zombie.

"Don't make me do this!" But this zombie is more of an animal so it does not listen with no other choice Lee shots with a satisfying BANG! Absolutely destroying the zombies skull the zombie then reaches out only to drop dead a second later.

Lee sighs after having to kill what he belives is a human but it had to be done. He then toss the shotgun to the side just trying to to catch he breath. "Man that was intense."

"Yeah that scared the gravey out of me and I have a lot of gravey Eddy." Ed said looking at Eddy who he was still hugging.

"Yeah thats amazing, now Ed as much as I enjoy your stinky pits, do you mind letting go of me!" Eddy yelled the last part. He then looked at Double D who was looking estatic. "You ok there sockhead." Ed also looked and saw his friend was buzzing with joy.

"This is amazing by all accounts being able to bring a corpse back to life should be impossible due to some factors from brain and heart damage, large chuncks of the body being blown off, or simple no blood flowing through the body this is a medical marvel I must study it." Double D then pulls a pen and a pocket notepad and begins to study the now-dead corpse.

Lee finally being able to calm down after the near death exprience he opened his eyes and saw in the distince what looks like a girl. "HELP! Go get somemon! There- There's been a shooting!"

Everyone stopped what there were doing because of rustling bushes coming from the forest behind them hoping it was just a wild animal only to realize a gunshot is only going to scare off animals not attracted them and what came out who's no forest creature.

Zombies start to come out of the woods way to many to beat to death with an empty shotgun so with that idea off the table they all did what any sane person would do in this situation... RUN!

"Holy crap theres more of them!" Eddy screamed finally being able to get out of Eds grip.

"Oh dear more reanimated dead, Ed quick help Lee up we need to get out of here posthaste!" Double D said in quite the panic putting away his notepad and pen.

"Roger that Double D." Ed said with a quick salute. "Come on Mister shotgun man." Ed then once again picks up Lee with very little trouble and then lets Lee lean on his shoulder. The four then moved fast as they could with someone with a busted leg.

Lee almost tripped a couple times but with the support of Ed he manage to keep his balance. While running to a fenced neighborhood. Now if they weren't convinced the zombies were dead the few they saw while running for their lives the saw clear signs that they were.

Most had clear signs of rotting skin way more then the officer, one had it entire lower jaw gone along with no hands just sharp bone stumps, some poor guy had like twelve stab wounds and the knife still stuck in his chest, the biggest one that was a clear sign that these things were dead it was missing both legs, an eye, and its guts were ripped out of it.

Now that was a clear sign to get the hell out of there as quick as possible they finally manage to make it to the fence Ed quickly helped Double D over the fence due to his lack of muscle mass before jumping over himself. Lee and Eddy were also climbed over the fence which was surprisingly quick due to Eddy's height and Lee's busted leg but they made it over.

Finally being over the fence and away from the group of monsters that wanted to eat there insides. The group only had one thing on there mind... What the hell is going on!?
