The 21 year old Merlin was on his way to Camelot with the 16 year old Will when they were saved by a young, seemingly rich man when bandits attacked. He joined them on their way to Camelot thet and seem to get along pretty well and stayed in contact during their stay in Camelot. One day Merlin has to give a tonic to Morgana who had a powers he wasn't suppose to see.
