I've been playing the series again, and after a particularly battle heavy planet run, I wanted to write a little something. Life has been crazy (work, family, friends) and I've not had a lot of energy left for writing anything, but this was a nice step back into the arena, so to speak. This story takes place on, and after, the planet Xawin, from ME1.

Just taking a break from my story fiction

A sneak peek at an upcoming subplot focusing on Valeria Terakkis. An old enemy has abducted her husband and family, and threatened to kill them if she doesn't hand herself over to him. Now, she intends to make him pay for his actions, and ensure that any other old enemies know what a terrible mistake it would be to try the same thing.

Due to the Reapers, sacrifice has been constant in the daily lives of the Normandy's crew. Commander Shepard has chosen to give up everything to achieve the Reapers' destruction. As everyone struggles to endure the aftermath of Shepard's choices, her lover Garrus battles with grief. Haunted by their last farewell, Garrus vows to find Shepard or whatever remains of his lost love.

Drabbles related to my Femshep. Mostly post-destroy, mostly with Liara.

This is just a little something on how I think my Shepard would have handled the attack on the Citadel in ME3. Slightly different with more insight into her thoughts and feelings. Rated M for language.

Cass Shepard is the child of the famous Commander Selene Shepard. Trying to break away from her mother's legacy, after the Commander's death in Mass Effect 1, Cass will begin to realize that being a war hero's daughter is a lot harder than she expected; especially the daughter of someone who's apparently come back from the dead. (Set during ME2, and beyond.)

The First Contact War was lost, and in its wake humanity was devastated. But they were not wholly defeated, and those still free to do so will fight back however they can.

Something isn't right with Shepard, and Miranda knows it, but she wants to find out so maybe then she can stop the conflict between them, but Shepard isn't the most willing paitent, infact she hates Miranda because of what she has done. But was it Miranda's fault? And will sparks fly between the two or will it be a fatal end? FemShepxMiri may change to M rated for later chapters.
