After a year since the Battle of Camlann and rocked by the events associated with it, Merlin has been living in isolation. Guinevere, although grief-stricken, is fulfilling new roles well, however, Camelot's enemies are conspiring against the queen. Things take a new turn when Arthur returns to the world of mortals once again, forcing Merlin to face his conflicted emotions.

Arthur and Merlin are able to spend their time together as lovers when they are away from Camelot. But tonight Arthur has something that he wants to ask Merlin. Something that will set King and his hopefully future Consort on the road to creating the Albion from legend. Arthur already knows about Merlin's magic, Morgana is good.
