Puppet didn't know much about human theology, and did not have very strong opinions on it, with the only exception being this…if there was a God out there, he was most likely either incompotent or unbelievably cruel.

He didn't want to have such a pessimistic outlook on it all, but let's face it. In his life time, he had witnessed the murder of six children, was burned in a fire, escaped that fire, was captured by a black bear suit, had to spend his time at a knockoff pizza place AS that black bear suit, was burned in a fire AGAIN because, turns out the knockoff pizza place was a trap to destroy all of the trouble that William Afton had caused ever since the first set of murders, and now Puppet was found, repaired, forced to act as a Daytime Security for a Daycare that belonged in a Fazbear location, said location destroying the progress that the two owners of the knockoff Pizza Place accomplished by revitalizing the Fazbear brand and letting history (most likely) repeat itself.

What kind of responsible and just God would allow that sequence of events to occur? That was Puppet's question.

Puppet squirmed restlessly in their box, still ruminating in their thoughts about the current situation they were in. "Maybe, if I'm lucky,", They thought, "This place will burn down too, and I'll be able to finally knowing the Fazbear company, I'll probably be brought back in one way or another.".

In all honesty, Puppet thought it quite amusing, in a sad and messed up sorta way. Never being able to truly die, only just being destroyed and coming back brand new. In a way he had achieved Afton's greatest dream. Too bad he didn't really want to, considering everything that most likely was GOING to happen.

Puppet kicked his legs out,as if fighting against the cardboard interior of the box will cause it to grow in size and allow him to stretch their aching legs. They usually could fall asleep quite fine, when everything was noisy and bustling, but now, everything was dead silent. He breathed loudly to try and calm himself down. Puppet despised silence, ever since they were created. It caused an extreme tightness in their chest and it seemed to be getting worse by the second. The only thing he could hear was the sound of footsteps and the ticking of a clock, each tick and step making their rough fabric skin tremble and prick up.

Puppet gulped and kicked the lid of his box, opening it. He had to get out, at least until their anxiety was at bay.

Stepping out of the box and out into the Daycare, the first thing Puppet was greeted to was the inky black darkness that resided everything. As their eyes adjusted, they began to see the more familiar aspects of the Daycare come to light. The ballpit, the play place, the little tables where children did arts and crafts, it was all there. Yet somehow, Puppet couldn't help but shiver at the silence and deadness of it all. It was as if all the former color and joy that the Daycare had was sucked out by a malevolent force, leaving the silhouettes of what once was.

Puppet sighed shakily, stepping slinking out of the box and stepping forward into the dark, shadowy daycare.

"Exploring the place will do me good.", Puppet said quietly to himself. "And besides, I'm set to perform tomorrow, I need to look around at least a little bit.".

The Puppet paced around the play area of the Daycare, its anxiety still not quelled. Sure, the steps of its feet did calm it, a little. However, the tiny steps of his feet, the ticking of the clock, and the footsteps of someone else did not keep his mind from wandering into disturbing territory.

Wait…the steps of…SOMEONE ELSE!

Puppet didn't notice it before, due to his previous worrying, however, he was aware of it now and that only made his skin prickle more. Someone was in the daycare, someone was inside the daycare. How did they get in. The windows and doors were locked. At least Puppet assumed that to be the case.

What if the intruder found an open window somewhere and decided now was the perfect time to break in, for whatever reason Puppet did not know and Puppet didn't want to know. All they knew was they had to do something. Where was Sun, clearly they had to have heard the other set of footsteps too.

No matter, he'll tell them about the intruder later. The only thing left to do now was follow the footsteps and capture the intruder before it was too late.

Puppet crept over to where the potential threat was, nearly as silent as a cat, looking over to where they could be. There in the corner, messing with come barrels was a dark shadowy figure. It was tall, though not as tall as Puppet, with a thin frame and even thinner neck. It stood up taller, making silent yet noticeable twinkling noises. Puppet snuck closer to get a good look at it. Something seemed to be emanating from the intruder's face. A soft yet threatening glow that showed the color of blood.

Puppet was about to step even closer than that, before a deafening crack filled the air of the silent daycare. Puppet looked down at his feet, noticing a now broken crayon under his thin feet.

The intruder caught notice of this and looked over at the place the sound came, glaring straight at Puppet with that same bloody glow coming from it. Puppet, knowing it was caught, decided to do the only thing it could do, knowing it was now caught.

Pounce!

Puppet tackled the figure, attempting to pin it down and alert some of the Security Staff of the intruder's presence. However, the figure was strong, just as strong, just as strong as Puppet, if not moreso. They wrestled and wrestled, scratched and bit, screamed and yelled, before the Puppet was inevitably pinned down under the intruder.

Breathing heavily, Puppet looked up at the face of his new enemy. He still couldn't see his enemy that well. The only thing that could illuminate his face was his eyes, and even that was stretching it a bit. He could make out the outline of half of his face though. The light of his eyes made the face look pinkish, like watermelon candy. It looked very plasticy and masklike, just like Puppet's own face. And though it was vague, Puppet could see the outline of a sinister, yet familiar smile.

It chuckled a small chuckle, before speaking. Its voice was quiet, and raspy, yet still managing its tone harsh and mocking.

"Some 'Security Puppet' you are.", It said. "Look at you, beaten at your own game. By a younger less experienced bot no less."

"Who…", Puppet asked nervously, his voice glitching nervously. "Who are you? What are you doing here?".

The figure stood there, silently, before chuckling again, amused at Puppet's question, as if Puppet had made a pun or told a funny story.

"Don't you recognize your own coworker, Mr Marionette?".

Puppet squinted at the silhouette of his attacker, tilting his head slightly. Come to think of it…there was a reason that his smile seemed so familiar. And come to think of it…so did his body…and the twinkling bell-like sounds coming from.

"Are you…the Daycare Attendant?".

What…appeared to be the Daycare Attendant, poked the middle of his face and laughed. "Bingo!"

Puppet pushed the Daycare Attendant off them, staring daggers at the other animatronic. "What has gotten into you!" Puppet shouted. "You were so nice when we first met, why did you pin me.".

"Because you tackled me.", The Daycare Attendant said.

Puppet stayed silent and sighed. "In my defense, I thought you were an intruder. However, that still doesn't explain your sudden change in behavior.".

The Daycare Attendant tilted his head curiously before chuckling yet again and coming closer to the Marionette.

"I keep forgetting you're new here.", It said. "The animatronic you met earlier was The Daycare Attendent's Day Mode, known as Sun. I however…am Moon. I function as the Daycare Attendant's Night Mode.".

Puppet paused and looked up and down at the Daycare Attendant. "So you're Moon.".

"Yes!", Moon growled. "I just told you. Are you stupid or something?".

Puppet frowned. "I just wanted to clarify because Sun told me about you earlier when we first met. It makes sense that we meet now, but…why aren't you asleep.".

Moon scoffed. "I'm insulted, how could you even say such a thing? I am the Moon, and you expect me to sleep during the night! Disgusting!".

"I'm only asking that because Mr Maynard told you to rest up for tomorrow."

"Mr Maynard doesn't know a damn thing about how I'm programmed, and for the matter neither do you!".

Puppet glared at Moon. He opened his mouth to speak before Moon spoke again.

"And another thing.", Moon added, pointing a finger at Puppet. "It's after hours. How can you scold me for being out in the night, despite me being programmed for it, yet you are here, walking around like you own this place despite the fact you are supposed to be in your box.".

"I was just anxious!", Puppet said. "That's what the silence does to me, ok, it makes me antsy! That just so happens to be how I was programmed!.".

"Well, here's us, making noise.", Moon said, with a fake cheeriness to his voice. "So now that you've heard some noise, I suggest that you to GO! TO! BED!".

"Listen here, Mr Nightmode!", Puppet said. "I don't need some new fangled, impudent machine talking to me in such a way!".

"And I don't need some old, out of date clown tackling me and telling me what I can and cannot do in my own daycare!", Moon yelled, his raspy voice straining.

Puppet was again about to retaliate but Moon cut him off. "You know, me and my Day Mode, Sunny…we were talking! And you know what we both agree on. We agree on one thing and that one thing is that you're going to be gone here by the end of the week, wait and see. Unlike you, we are state of the art. We don't need some outdated Security System from the 80s to help us out. And that is that!".

Puppet was silent…a feeling of hurt suddenly overtaking them. "Did Sun…actually think that about me?".

"You know it.", Moon said, snickering. "Would I lie about my own damn day mode?".

Puppet looked up and Moon, sighing heavily before speaking. "Well then….I guess I'll go back to my box then.".

"Good.", Moon said, before hooking himself up to his cord and rising up to his room. "Nighty Night.".

Puppet nearly vomited when Moon said that. God, he said it with such a fake niceness that it made him cringe in disgust. No matter. He was going to have to get used to the Daycare Attendent's fake cheeriness anyways, both his Day Mode's and his Night Mode's. The only thing they felt foolish about, however, was how they actually thought that Sun's niceness was actually real.

Puppet slumped in their tight box and closed the lid on it and sniffled a bit. Great, this was just perfect. He was stuck in a new place, with co-workers who didn't like him, and away from all his former friends. Truly the God of this Earth was cruel.

HEY. Finally updated this thing. Sorry if this chapter was a bit rushed. I wrote in instead of sleeping haha. I decided that from this day on, every odd chapter would be from the Daycare Attendant's POV and every even chapter would be from Puppet's POV. I think it works I guess. So yeah. Hope you all enjoy. Reviews are appreciated and recommended.
