Bruno got home late at night, covered in paint. He and Cassidy had managed to fix the mural, but it had taken a while. He knew that his mother wouldn't be pleased, but he wanted to be there for Cassidy. She had really had a hard time with it, and Bruno knew that he could be the one to help her. The mural wasn't restored to its original beauty, according to Cass, but it still looked nice.

Bruno didn't know what time it was as he stumbled into the kitchen, grabbing an arepa with blurry vision. He got himself a glass of water and drank it desperately, hot from being outside for so long. He was exhausted from the experience, he had no clue how Cassidy could paint for so long, and he knew that he was going to be even more tired come tomorrow, when he had to give visions again.

"Bruno Madrigal! What are you doing?" His mother exclaimed from behind him, and Bruno yelped, nearly dropping the glass.

"Mama! Don't be so loud?"

"Where were you? I have been waiting for hours."

Bruno sighed. "I was helping Cassidy fix her mural, her sister put red paint all over it, it was crazy, so I was helping her repaint it, you know? We just got it done, Mama, and I'm tired. Can we please talk about this tomorrow?"

"No! You not only skipped out on your visions, but you didn't even come home for dinner! And hanging out with that girl, no less! How could you do this?"

"Mama! She needed help!"

Alma's face was full of fury, arm pointing to Bruno's door. "Go to your room, Bruno! I don't want to see you right now!"

Bruno frowned and set the cup down, walking slowly to his room, a sick feeling in his stomach.

"That girl? Come on, she's more than just a girl, her name is Cassidy." Bruno huffed, climbing the stairs and opening the door. He didn't bother to clean off the paint from his hands or closed, all he did was sit on his bed and grab one of his rats. It was Elroy, and Bruno petted him gently as he sunk further and further into his own mind.

His mother had to know about him and Cassidy hanging out, and she hated her. Was she upset that he didn't come home, or that they were friends? Did she know that they were more than friends?

Bruno knew that he had to tell her eventually, but he knew that his mother didn't like her, and he still wanted to be able to see her. He didn't want to be stopped from seeing Cassidy because of his mother's feelings about her.

He sighed, knowing that he couldn't do anything about it. The only thing he had power over was his own actions, and he knew that he wouldn't stop seeing her. His mother would have to deal with that herself.

Sleep didn't come easy for him last night, and his mind never stopped swirling with the worries of the next day.

Alma and Pepa were the only ones at the table when Bruno came down the next morning, his curly hair a mess from the night. The food on the table was cold and Pepa was just finishing up.

"Where is Julieta?" Bruno asked, and a cloud immediately formed above Pepa's head at the words. Alma sighed and put her fork down.

"Agustín is taking her out on a date, and he's going to propose to her."

"Really? That's awesome!" Bruno exclaimed, a smile bursting forth on his face, and Pepa scowled.

"It's not a big deal, Bruno."

"It is, Pepa, your sister may be getting married soon." Their mother replied, and Bruno glanced at his sister, concerned.

"You're jealous, aren't you?"

Lightning struck above her. "I'm not jealous, Bruno!"

He held up his hands in surrender. "Sorry…"

Bruno got his breakfast and met his mother's eyes. She shook her head, and Bruno knew that she didn't want to talk about the previous night.

"Also, Bruno, you'll get the day off today because of the special occasion. I expect you to use it wisely."

Bruno nodded, flinching as rain began to fall onto Pepa, whose shoulders were tense as the rain poured on her.

Alma left the table not long after, and Bruno got up, going to Pepa's side and handing her an umbrella.

"What's wrong, Pepa?"

Pepa frowned. "I…why do you care?"

"I don't want you to be sad."

"Well, I'll try and make the rain go away for you."

"No! I don't mind the rain, it's just that it's an exciting thing for Julieta and I want you to be happy with it. They might get married. Think about it! Her and Agustín!"

Pepa gave a sad smile. "I want Félix to do something for me."

Bruno nodded. "Well, I…I think you should just talk to him. Maybe?"

She nodded, the rain slowing down. "Maybe…"

"I know that he loves you, it might be that he's just not ready yet to propose."

"He hasn't even given me any gifts yet! And we've been dating for months!"

Bruno sighed as the cloud got bigger, her previous calm disappearing as soon as it came. "Pepa…"

"Fine! I'll go talk to him!" Pepa jumped out of her chair and stormed, quite literally, out of the room, her weather changing as quickly as her temper. Not for the first time Bruno wondered why Pepa got the weather powers. She was always the emotional one, but now they have the weather to deal with on top of it.

Most of the time Bruno didn't mind, she should be able to feel emotions, but today was Julieta's special day. She definitely didn't want it to have it rain the same day Agustín proposed. None of them did.

This was going to be a big step in their family. If Julieta said yes, which Bruno didn't have to have a vision to see that she would, then they would get married, probably having kids soon after. They wouldn't just be the Madrigal triplets anymore. The family would grow.

Bruno wasn't sure how he felt about that.

He slowly cleaned up the table and washed the dishes, the Casita's tiles clinking as he did so. Bruno could never understand what the house was trying to say, so he gave a small smile and got back to work. But, Casita didn't stop trying to communicate with him. It's tiles flipped and clinked with every dish he put away.

"I'm sorry, Casita, I don't know what…"

"Bruno!"

Bruno's eyes widened as he heard Cassidy's voice through the window. He glanced out and saw the girl running towards them, eyes wide and frantic.

"Bruno! Come quick!"

Bruno dropped what he was doing, running out to meet her on the doorstep. He had never heard her so frantic and worried.

"Cassidy! What's wrong?"

She gripped his hand and began pulling him towards the forest. "Agustín is stuck in a tree! I have no clue what happened but we have to get there before he falls."

Bruno let her pull him into the trees and followed her through the mess of plants along the ground. Soon Julieta could be seen, glancing up at a tree worriedly.

"Julieta! What happened?" Bruno asked, and she pointed up the tree, where Agustín was clinging onto the thin branches for dear life.

"I…I mentioned that a bird looked really pretty, and then he climbed up to get it, not even thinking that it would fly away! Now he can't get down!"

"I'll be fine, Julieta!" Agustín explained from above. "I just need to get down….somehow."

"Ayy, Agustín." Juleita muttered, putting her head in her hands.

Bruno got to the base of the tree and began climbing it himself, gripping the branches in his small hands.

"Bruno! What are you doing?" Cassidy exclaimed, and Bruno shrugged.

"Getting up there. I'm light and agile enough."

"You could get stuck up there yourself! Who's going to get you both out of there?"

"Bruno!" Julieta yelled, and he sighed.

"What else can we do? If he falls he'll need more than an arepa to heal, Juli!"

Julieta pulled him away from the tree, and turned to Cassidy.

"Could you find one of the townspeople? Maybe your dad?"

"There is no way in the world my dad could help here. I think he has to get down by himself."

"I can do that!" Agustín yelled, "just give me some time, my friends!"

Julieta paced under the tree, hands wrung out in front of her nervously.

"What do we do? Should I get Félix?" Cassidy asked, but Bruno shook his head.

"I don't know what he could do. I still say I should climb up there." Bruno's voice had begun to waver, fear rooting in his chest, but he knew it was the best option right now.

"No!" Cassidy and Julieta exclaimed at once, and Bruno sighed, clutching his ruana in his hands.

"Better get some food ready, Juli, I don't this will end well."

Agustín had begun to shimmy his way down the tree, his glasses on the tip of his nose. His clothes were getting torn as he made his way down slowly. The three of them on the ground watched anxiously as Agustín slipped on every second branch, his shoes not giving any grip on the bark.

Julieta had already grabbed an arepa when Agustín was finally close to the ground, but, as his foot hit one final branch before he got to safety, the wood snapped, causing the thin man to cry out in shock as he fell.

By some miracle he managed to land on his legs and not his head, but he was on the ground, and that was all that mattered.

"Agustín! Are you alright?" Julieta asked, running to him and giving him the food. He managed to crack a smile, though it looked much like a wince.

"I'll be okay, Julieta, nothing's broken that you can't fix."

Cassidy sighed with relief, and she wrapped Bruno into a side hug, nestling her head into his neck. Bruno froze, shocked by the touch, but soon relaxed, gripping her hand thankfully.

Agustín took a bite of the food, sighing as the healing effects stopped the pain. With a small smile he repositioned himself on the ground and reached inside of his pocket, pulling out a small box. Julieta watched him with wide eyes, mouth parting in shock.

"No. Way." Cassidy whispered, and Bruno gave a small, knowing smile.

"Julieta, I know that this may be a bad time, but I have loved you since the day I met you." Agustín began, words spilling out of his mouth. "I love you, for who you are, not because of the fact that you heal every single wound I get, that's an added bonus."

Julieta laughed, tears in her eyes.

"Will you marry me, Julieta Madrigal? Will you make me the happiest man in all of Encanto?"

She nodded, "Yes, Agustín, yes!"

Agustín beamed and used his shanking fingers to take the ring out of the box and put it on her finger. As soon as the ring was on it, he got to his feet and wrapped her in a big hug, not resisting her kiss before it.

Cassidy was grinning wildly beside Bruno, and he couldn't stop his feet from going over to his sister and giving her a hug, too.

"Congrats, hermana." Bruno said, "I'm so happy for you."

"Thank you, Bruno. I think this is the happiest day of my life."

Cassidy gave Agusitn a high-five, and everyone laughed, joy filling the air at a beautiful rate. Everyone was smiling, anticipation for the wedding shining brightly.

No one noticed the storm brewing in the town behind them.
