At a battle ground, one could only see utter destruction. Huge craters were everywhere . Kunai's and shurikens and other ninja accessories were scattered around and the mountains which were surrounding the said area were split in half. From the looks of it, a deadly battle had just taken place here.

If we look more carefully, we can also see the saveral dead bodies of one of the most powerful shinobi of this generation laying around along with the famous gold and silver brothers, Kinkaku and Ginkaku. A little far from them was Tobirama, sitting with his back supported by a nearby tree. His senju armor that he so proudly wore was now in scrambles, showing his rather well-toned abs, which were bleeding immensely fast. His whole body was covered with injuries, but currently that was the least of his worries.

He has done it. He has defeated them. He has protected his team and konoha from any possible damage. He has completed his role as the Nidaime hokage. Now that the 22 S-rank shinobi that Ko mo had are dead, the victory will be Konoha's.

Tobirama then did something that he almost never did: he smiled. It was a genuine and true smile. He took in a deep breath, waiting for his eventual death to absorb him. But that's when he sensed a slight movement in the bushes to his left. In a panic, Tobirama snapped his eyes open and he looked toward the source of the noise. Was one of them still alive? Was one of them dead? If so, then he should be half dead like he was to miss his sensory detection, so he wo be able to go after Hiruzen and the others anytime soon.

After a while of looking at the direction where the supposed survivor should be (he spotted him/her due to his sensory abilities), Tobirama finally spoke up, "I know you're there, so stop the game of hide'n'seek and get out already," Tobirama told the hiding ninja in his usual calm tone. No, he wasn't scared; he came to fight them expecting the worst, and even if he was, In his current state he cant lift up a finger let alone fight again.

The bushes started rustling in response and a figure of a woman emerged from them. Tobirama's vision was blurry due to the constant blood loss, so he couldn't quite make out the woman's physical appearance. Her long, unruly raven hair and onyx-colored eyes were the only things he could make out.

The woman gasped upon seeing him. "Tobirama-sensei, why're you-nevermind that why did you engage them and survive!" The woman said, Suprised. At hearing her voice, Tobirama recognized her instantly; she was Kagami's (Shisui's grandfather in canon) sister Kitomai. He has also taught her a thing or two due to her unhuman potential, but couldn't take her in as an official apprentice due to some consequences.

Tobirama forced the remains of his chakra into his eyes . Once his vision got better, he was treated to the sight of Kitomai already healing his injured chest with medical ninjutsu while she sat really close to him . And he could easily get a good look at those glorious orbs on her chest

Tobirama tried to look at anything beside her, but Kitomai had her whole focus fixed on healing him while she had a little part of her tongue out of her mouth, giving her a cute look.

After his wounds were healed, Kitomai gave Tobirama a piggyback ride, much to his dismay, while they went toward the direction of Konoha.

8 YEARS LATER

A lot has changed in the past 8 years. The most important aspect is his single status. After the first great ninja war, Tobirama confessed his love for Kitomai and they got married. Currently, he is in his office facing off against his worst enemy, "paperwork". One of these days he was going to go mad.

Tobirama muttered a curse under his breath, regretting his whole life (except his marriage) for creating the civilian council. They were such a pain in the ass, always meddling with their orders and always trying their best to create policies that only benefited the civilians. And not to mention how lazy and tardy they are, always complaining about little things that aren't even worth their time. He invented the civilian council so that they could solve their problems on their own, but ever since he did, their problems have been getting more and more annoying. He swore if he got another one of these complaint reports, he was going to retire and live a happy life with his wife and hopefully have some kids. He wanted to continue his legacy after all. But all of his thoughts were disturbed by the walking noise in the hallway of his office. I think it was just his annoying secretary here to give him MORE PAPERWORK. He ignored it until his office door swung open and it hit the steel behind with a loud bang, which was an action that his secretary wouldn't dare to do. Surprised, Tobirama looked up at the door from the file in his hands, ready to smash whoever it was to the ground, but when he did, he saw his wife standing by the half cracked door, tapping her foot on the ground below.

"You said you would come home early today because of our anniversary. Did you forget?" Kitomai reminded her husband, slightly 't he be more of a man of his word, or was she asking too much?

"I was, but with other clans joining Konoha, the papers have multiplied, and I swear I'd get home whenever it's done." He replied. Her heart sank a little as she noticed the tiredness in his tone and the bags under his eyes. Being hokage sure is troublesome, she mused.

It's quite okay. I know how tough your job can come home when it is done. I'll make you your favourite dish for your hard work. " She announced with a wink.

Tobirama smiled wildly. "Thanks a lot for being so understanding, Kitomai. I don't know what I would have done without you. " KItomai nodded fierily and patted her chest course she was. If he was the hokage, then she was his shadow kage.

"Of course I'm. If I hadn't been here, then you would've had no spirit to go on like this. " She said it thoroughly and Tobirama knew it. After some light talk, Kitomai bid her farewell and went out of his reshreshed, Tobirama began round two with his long-time nemises .

7 YEARS LATER

Tobirama looked at his one and only son with the utmost pride. Currently, his son is successfully doing the tree walking exercise. This exercise was only taught to the most experienced genin with at least 1 year of turned to his father with a happy smile plastered onto his face, and their eyes met.

His smile grew even wider at the sight of his father seeing him train. "Father, am I doing it right?"As the fast currents of wind blew his hair back, the shorter, grey-haired boy queEven though Minato was doing it the right way, Tobirama was curious to see how far he could push his son. So he lied.

"Yes, but no," Tobirama said, frowning."Just because you did it doesn't mean you finished the exercise."With a raised eyebrow, Minato jumped off the rather large pond he was standing on, which was in their backyard, with a raised eyebrow."What do you mean, father?" Minato asked as he got right in front of his father.

"What you just did was merely the first step of this exercise." Tobirama started deep into Minato's eyes before continuing."The second part is to put weights on while you repeat the first step."Minato's eyes widen in shock and panic. He still remembered the last time he tried those. He felt like he was carrying the whole hokage tower on his back while climbing the hokage face monement. He couldn't even move a muscle, let alone walk with them on wasn't even the half of it. His legs ached even after a week of trying it.

Tobirama took out the weights from his long hokage robe with a smirk after seeing the horrified expression on minatos face and offered them to him . With a loud gulp, Minato took them out of his father's hands and tied the heavy pieces of metal around his legs. Minato took a deep breath before he pushed his legs toward the pond with all his might, but they barely moved an inch. In a panic, Minato started to struggle back and forth, trying desperately to move his disobying legs, but with no luck.

Tobirama let out a sigh of disappointment. Just when he thought Minato would pull it off, he had to get disappointed. It wasn't Minato who was wrong, but he was wrong. How can he burden a 6 year old with all of this? He was one bastard of a father, and even so, Minato is trying his best to not disappoint him. He puts his hand on minato's shoulder which stops the boy from his struggles...

Okay, that's it for this chapter. Tell me how it was with a review. And I also wanted to ask if I should post short chapters like this twice or thrice a week or a long chapter once a week. And don't hesitate to tell me about any grammar mistakes I have made in this chapter.

Don't forget to review and follow. But if you don't want to, it's totally fine.

I have only read 5 chapters, but I am in love with his work.
