In the great city of Era, located in the heart of the large city, there is a large rocky mountain and on the top of the mountain the Magic Council headquarters resides there.
The council consisted of nine individuals, they were extremely powerful and known to think before they make a decision. They are well-versed in the laws and regulations regarding the continent of Fiore, so they act as an example of what to be.
Right now the nine council members currently discussed the previous evening's events.
"It seems Tyson Dragneel was the one who apprehended Bora the Prominence, who was abducting women and selling them off as slaves in different countries." A much older Jellal Fernandes explained to his colleagues.
"That young man is simply extraordinary. He is the youngest recorded S-Class wizard in history and has gone on to train other extremely powerful wizards, you were one of them Jellal if I'm not mistaken." A elderly man with a pair of large downward facing eyebrows said.
"He only unlocked my magic container Yajima." Jellal responded, correcting Yajima. "I did the rest by myself."
"Please forgive me." Yajima apologized for his mistake.
"The fact remains though. He is the strongest wizard on the continent, even managing to surpass God Serena. How is he doing by the way?" Yajima asked.
"Still embittered about his defeat last year, ranting and raving about "how dare that dastardly and cheating Dragon Slayer" cheat in our match. I swear it's causing me to get a headache." A young woman said.
She was extremely beautiful, with pale skin, dark purple hair and brown eyes. She had on a form-fitting kimono with a spinning flower pattern on it.
"He gives us all a headache, Ultear, if he wasn't the second most powerful wizard on Ishgar, I doubt we would give him a moment of our time." Jellal said back to her. "How is your mother doing by the way?"
"Ur is doing rather well, she is currently on a S-Class mission to slay a beast on the southernmost part of the continent around Galuna Island, it's known as the Leviathan." Ultear responded.
"The Leviathan? Isn't that said to almost be 200 feet long?" Yajima asked, surprised.
"You are correct. However, it shouldn't be an issue for the seventh wizard saint though." Ultear said with some pride in her voice.
"If your little discussion has ended, can we resume our current discussion." Org, owner of the second seat on the council said.
"Sorry sir, please continue." Ultear said.
"As I said, Tyson Dragneel brought down another criminal, almost 400 now." Org said.
"I do believe so. He eliminated more bandits, slave rings, career criminals and dark guilds than most wizards do during their lifetimes. It's a shame he turned down the position of 1st God of Ishgar." Yajima said.
"He had some valid reasons for refusing and let's not forget he's now responsible for training the Fairy Tail wizards, allowing most of them to gain control of their magic while also reducing the damage done on jobs. If it was another guild there would have been between one hundred and fifty thousand to five million worth of damage." Jellal said.
"Still, would have been nice to have the highest-ranked Wizard Saint develop a sense of humility and not a guild hall sized ego." Ultear said.
"We all have issues with God Serena Ultear. Let's just wrap this meeting up." Org said. "The number of Dark Guilds, despite the best efforts of Fairy Tail, Lamia Scale and Blue Pegasus, is becoming a issue. Tyson, Jura, Erza, Mirajane and the other S-Class wizards are trying their hardest but more and more surface on a daily basis. We need to step up the crackdown on the Dark Guilds." Org continued.
"But how? The strongest Light guilds are doing their best, but they can't get them all." Ultear said.
"Which is why I propose it's made mandatory for S-Class wizards in legal guilds to accept three Dark Guild extermination jobs every month and in return we'll triple the price of a standard Dark Guild extermination job."
"I think that is a good idea. We aren't using all our resources to get rid of the Dark Guilds, but we have to trust in Fairy Tail, Lamia Scale and Blue Pegasus's S-Class wizards to handle this as the weaker guilds might not be able to exterminate the Dark Guilds that easily." Belno, an elderly woman with sandy blonde hair in a ponytail said.
"That is a good point, but they're S-Class for a reason. Each of them are their guild's strongest members and as such they are more than able to hold their own in a fight. But you do raise a good point. How about all Dark Guild extermination jobs are only accepted by a group of no less than four members, two of them being S-Class?" Org proposed to the rest of the council.
The council members looked to each other briefly before Ultear turned back to Org and said, "I think I speak for everyone else when I say we agree with that."
"Very well. Messenger!" Org shouted.
Within seconds, a light green frogman came running into the room and said, "Yes, council member Org?"
"It is the decision of the council to make a new mandatory request for every single Light guild. Send this out to all light guilds today." Org said.
The frogman nodded and then took out a piece of paper before asking, "What shall it say?"
"It shall say, "Until such a time the Dark Guild count has reached zero, all Light guilds are expected to have their S-Class wizards do three Dark Guild extermination requests in a month. They can only accept the request if they work in a group of four with two S-Class wizards in said group." Org said.
The frog man nodded and wrote it down quickly, then asked, "What shall the reward be sir?"
"The reward for each Dark Guild successfully destroyed shall be 24,000 jewels." Org said.
The frogman nodded, wrote it down and then questioned, "Anything else sir?"
Org shook his head and then said, "That will be all."
The frogman nodded and then quickly left, off to get the news out to all light guilds.
Org then said, "Let us hope this measure does it's job. The Dark Guild numbers are starting to become a massive concern."
"They will eventually fall. We have Jura, Erza and Tyson on our side." Ultear said.
"Even with his incredible power, he's only one person. He can't be everywhere at once. One by one I can think of only six individuals that are more powerful than him." Jellal said.
"Zeref, Acnologia, Igneel, the Asgardian thunder god Thor, Merlin and the demon king E.T.D." Ultear said.
"It is a tragedy that E.T.D fell protecting Igneel. According to history he was humanities protector standing against his fellow demons and against the dragons to protect the weak and the innocent." Jellal said.
"Indeed. But that is the ancient past and this is the present, we must focus on the here and now. If there are no other issues, I would like to declare this meeting over." Org said.
There were no more issues, so the meeting was declared over and the council members went back to their own chambers.
Ultear and Jellal walked to theirs together, discussing a hidden secret.
"Does HE suspect anything?" Jellal asked.
"Nothing. To him, I am his loyal pawn. He is unaware that I in fact serve another." Ultear said.
"You know he asks for nothing for what he did? Why do you serve him?" Jellal asked.
"For the same reason you started that little band of yours. To pay back the debt I owe him, even if he doesn't see it as if I owe him anything. He would say my smile is all the payment he needs. He is a good man that way. His heart is just so large. I kinda envy his girlfriend. He will never cheat on her, he will always be by her side, he will always do everything in his power to keep her happy." Ultear said.
"I made "that little band of mine" to do something about the amount of evil in the world. I saw evil as a child, I also saw the power of good and how evil ran from it. I vowed to live up to the example of the two Dragon Slayers who saved us all those years ago."
Ultear shook her head and chuckled, saying, "Just look at the two of us. One man changed the course of our lives. He inspired hope to grow inside my heart and that allowed me to change my path. How much pain and suffering would I have committed if he hadn't done what he did."
Jellal nodded his head and said, "I bet he doesn't know how much good he has truly done. How many people he has inspired to do better, to be better. To him, he will never do enough good in the world, always seeing the deeds of his life as not enough good done."
Ultear giggled a little and said, "He is just that way. Come on, we have paperwork to do."
Jellal groaned and said, "Paperwork. Truly, that is the legal form of torture."
Ultear just rolled her eyes and said, "Just suck it up and be a man."
The two went into their offices, but before Ultear did she stopped and had one thought.
'Tyson, what are you doing right now?'
Currently...
It was 2pm in the afternoon when the train entered the station.
The S-Class Dragon Slayer, his Exceed partner, their blonde-haired companion and the black haired man next to her all disembarked from the train and made their way through the train station.
Tyson left the station, stopped and took a deep breath sucking up air in the process.
"Ah, tis verily I say to thee, thither is no better air than the air of thy home." Tyson said as Happy, Hyuuga and Lucy stared at him.
"Aye sir." Happy said cheerfully as he too took a deep breath.
Lucy looked at them and asked, "Why did you speak in Shakespearean?"
"It makes me sound cool." Tyson replied.
"Okay then." Hyuuga sighed at his statement.
Lucy rolled her eyes while smiling at the two and then began to look around, this town was not like Hargeon.
For one, the town was several times the size and it also had a myriad of shops, carts and houses lined across the city and that was as far as Lucy could see.
Tyson then turned to face his two new friends. "Come on guys, Fairy Tail awaits."
Lucy snapped out of her revere and said, "Yeah, let's go!"
"Coming." Hyuuga commented.
Tyson and Happy chuckle and then the four began to walk onward.
After nearly a half hour of walking, they finally reached the guild hall of Fiore's strongest legal guild Fairy Tail.
Lucy had stars form in her eyes as she went into full blown fan-girl mode. "This is really the Fairy Tail guild hall! It's even cooler than I imagined!"
"It really does look like a nice place." Hyuuga said in agreement.
Tyson and Happy laughed and then Tyson said, "If you think that was awesome, just wait till you're inside."
Lucy was about to open the door when Tyson grabbed her hand and stopped her. "You should let me go first."
She was confused, but Tyson was already standing in front of her.
He brought his fist back and slammed it into the door, causing it to blast open and nearly ripping it off it's hinges.
It turned out to be a good thing he went first, as shortly after entering a large table flew towards them.
It struck him with enough force to shatter the table into wooden splinters that were smaller than a quarter. Tyson, however hadn't moved at all.
Lucy started freaking out, what the hell was happening inside the guild hall that TABLES were being thrown with the force to nearly kill someone.
She looked inside and when she saw what was transpiring, her jaw dropped, eyes widened and mind crashed.
Pure, unadulterated chaos.
There was a massive brawl raging across the guild as tables, chairs, beer, barrels, mugs, even people were being thrown through the air as fists were sent flying everywhere, there wasn't a single spot inside where the guild was not enveloped in chaos.
"Uh, what the..." Hyuuga said in disbelief over what was going on.
One guy jumped on top of a table, ripped his shirt off showing his muscular chest and yelled, "LET'S GET IT ON!" then he jumped into the air and tackled his target.
Lucy also saw someone take a large ladder and turn it into a blunt weapon to knock several people out before he was knocked out by a chair directly to the face.
Another guy flipped over a table with enough force it was flung into the air and came down on it's poor targets, who were knocked out by the impact.
Lucy was sputtering nonsense, unable to comprehend what was going on inside the guild.
"Wha...wha...what is happening?" She asked slowly, still trying to wrap her mind around this level of insanity.
"Believe it or not, this happens pretty much every day. We may not cause a lot of damage while on jobs, but here we don't hold back and beat the hell out of each other." Tyson explained, while Happy flew up and sat on his right shoulder.
Tyson then gently grabbed Lucy's hand and dragged her towards the bar, where the fighting wasn't as bad.
At the bar, there were two white-haired women cleaning some glasses.
"Lisanna! Mirajane!" Tyson called out their names and the two women turned to face him.
Lisanna was 17 years old and had short white hair and blue eyes. Her outfit was a pink T-shirt, blue jeans with white flower patterns on the kneecaps, a brown belt with a silver belt buckle and a pair of white sneakers.
Mirajane is a slim young woman of below average height. She has long wavy white hair that curls slightly at the ends, while two bangs frame her face and reach down to her chest, her hairstyle's most prominent feature is a short upwards ponytail that is gathered on her forehead. She also has stunning large blue eyes that just makes her look all the more beautiful. She is currently wearing a sleeveless maroon ankle-length dress with a pleated skirt. She has a large pink bow on the front of her chest that act as the straps for her dress, while a gold bracelet is on her right wrist and a sky blue necklace is on her chest as well and to finish her outfit, she is wearing a matching set of high heels.
Lisanna and Mirajane both turn towards Tyson and smile at the Dragon Slayer.
"Hello, Tyson. How did the job to find the fake Salamander go?" Lisanna asked.
"It went well. We found him in Hargeon. It was Bora the Prominence and he was kidnapping women to sell them as slaves in Bosco." Tyson said.
Lisanna gasped and said, "Did you free the women?"
"Aye. And we did less damage than usual, only some small damage to the pier." Happy said as he jumped off Tyson's shoulder and onto the counter.
"Well done guys. Here is your fish Happy." Mirajane said as she gave Happy a large fish.
Happy drooled over the large fish and when he received it, he began to devour it with only the ferocity a cat could display.
Just then a green-haired man looked at his companions.
"Who are they?" He asked, confused.
"Oh yeah." Tyson said, leading Lucy over to them and said, "Mizu reminded me. This is Lucy. She's a Celestial Wizard and wants to join the guild."
Lucy was slightly nervous about meeting two other S-Class wizards, who happened to have bodies that most women would kill for. "H-hi. My name is Lucy. Nice to meet you."
"And I'm Hyuuga. Otherwise referred to as the Black Knight." Hyuuga introduced himself to the two women.
"Black Knight?" Lisanna was confused with the statement. "Why do you go by that name?"
"Knight Rebirth!" Hyuuga pulled out the Bull Riot from it's holster, pointing it into the air and changed into his armored suit.
"Black Knight, Hyuuga!"
"Well that explains a lot." Lisanna admitted.
Lisanna and Mirajane then warmly smiled at Lucy. "Hi there Lucy. My name is Lisanna Strauss, this is my big sister Mirajane and my older brother Elfman is somewhere in that mess of a guild fight."
"Heads up, Lisanna!" Mizu exclaimed, getting her attention after hearing a bottle being thrown.
Just then, a bottle came rocketing towards Lisanna's face at incredible speed.
"No!" Tyson cried out.
Another object was just as fast and shattered the bottle into hundreds of pieces. It was a metal hammer with a short handle that had been thrown from the second floor of the guild hall. The hammer was then called back to it's owner.
"What the hell are you guys doing?!" Tyson demanded. They stopped fighting after he said this as fire and electricity surrounded his body. He was very protective of Lisanna, since she was the first person he met after arriving at Fairy Tail and considered her to be his little sister.
The only reason he wasn't overprotective of Erza was that he knew how strong she was.
There was also the fact she threatened to beat Tyson up if he fought her battles.
Needless to say, that wasn't a issue.
"I thought it was made clear several years ago. Don't injure people who aren't participating in a guild fight." Everyone looked up to see a well-built man staring down at them from the second floor of the guild hall.
They then became pale recalling what happened to Erza seven years earlier. The combatants then saw the angry expression on Tyson's face.
Before Tyson got the chance to beat them down, Lisanna stood in his way and said, "I'm okay. Please calm down."
She used her arsenal's greatest weapon, puppy-dog eyes and small tears.
"Count yourselves lucky Mjolnir shattered that bottle." Tyson told them.
They nodded in understanding, not wanting to anger him any further.
Tyson then went over to Mirajane and said, "May I have 20 flaming chicken legs?"
"No problem." Mirajane said.
She and Lisanna entered the kitchen, leaving Lucy and Tyson alone at the bar, while everyone else worked to get the guild back in order.
"What was that all about?" Lucy asked, slightly afraid from his outburst.
"Oh, that's what we call Dragon Instincts." Mizu explained. "In the past, there were stories of dragons fighting to the death to protect those they care about, even non-dragons."
"Oh, I see. So that's the reason you got angry about Lisanna almost being injured." Lucy nodded.
"I'll admit it, she can hold her own. But I will always consider her to be the little girl I helped train. She wasn't very strong back then, so that's why I was overprotective." Tyson told her.
Lucy nodded but then a small elderly man, only standing around two feet tall, wearing a jester hat jumped up on the counter and said, "Hi, how are ya doing?"
"Um, okay?" Lucy said.
"Good, may I ask why you two are here?" The man asked Lucy and Hyuuga.
"I am here to join the guild. I am just waiting for the master to ask him if I can join." Lucy said.
"Well, you came to the right guy. I am Master Makarov Dreyar, Fairy Tail's Third Guild Master. Nice to meetcha."
"You?" Hyuuga repeated.
Lucy was stunned for a few seconds, but then recomposed herself and said, "Nice to meet you. I am Lucy and I would like to join Fairy Tail."
"So would I." Hyuuga added.
"Hm. I am going to guess from those keys on that key belt on your right hip you are a Celestial Spirit wizard, correct." Makarov said.
"Yes sir. I currently possess three gold Zodiac keys." Lucy explained.
Makarov nodded and he then said, "Well Miss Lucy, there is one thing I have to check before I can allow you to enter the guild."
Lucy looked at Makarov and said, "What." then felt something grope her bottom.
"Is he serious?" Hyuuga asked, sweat-dropping at the master's actions.
She looked and saw Makarov groping her while saying pervertedly, "Oh, ho ho. Nice rack you got."
Lucy had a bright red blush on her face before smacking Makarov away with her right hand while screaming, "PERVERT!"
Makarov fell off the counter and said, "Feisty, I like that. Welcome to Fairy Tail."
Lucy, who was still blushing nodded and then heard Makarov say, "Tyson, go get the stamper for her guild mark please."
Tyson nodded and went to find the stamper, but before that, he struck Makarov on the head with his hand. "You gotta stop doing things like that, because I'm not bailing you out of jail again."
Makarov had a sheepish expression on his face and said, "I'm only human."
Tyson sighed and walked to the back, then returned a few minutes later with a magic stamper.
He looked at them and said, "Where do you want your guild marks and what color?"
Hyuuga turned and removed his uniform before lifting his shirt exposing his back. "Black and on my left shoulder."
Lucy thought about it for a few seconds before she said, "Pink and on the top of my right hand please."
Tyson nodded, colored the magic stamper and pressed it gently on Hyuuga's shoulder and Lucy's arm.
The part of the stamper that made contact with their skin glowed and then Tyson lifted it off showing a brand new pink and black Fairy Tail symbol on top of her right hand and his left shoulder.
"Welcome to the guild Lucy, Hyuuga." Tyson said with a smile.
Lucy smiled and said, "Yes!"
"Thank you." Hyuuga said in a grateful tone.
Tyson then started to laugh. "Alright Lucy, let's get something to eat. You need a place to stay."
"That's right." Lucy said, realizing she didn't have any place to stay in Magnolia.
"Fortunately I know a landlady with a nice, little apartment. And guess what, it's only 70,000 jewel a month."
Lucy's eyes light up.
"Really?!" She said excitedly.
"Yeah. I'll show you where it is after lunch." Tyson said.
Lucy smiled brightly and said, "Thanks Tyson."
"No problem." He nodded.
Lucy smiled back to him and the three Lucy, Tyson and Happy ate their lunches in peace and quiet.
However, before they left to show Lucy the apartment, the guild doors flew open and in came a worried-looking six year old purple-haired boy.
He was about 3 feet tall, had a slight tan, black eyes and was wearing a dark green shirt with a large yellow "S" on it, while also wearing a pair of orange shorts and black sneakers.
"Is there a problem, Romeo?" Mizu asked the young boy after seeing the doors open.
"My dad. He took a job to clear Mt. Hakobe of Vulcans, but he hasn't come back yet." Romeo replied.
"When did he take the job?" Tyson asked.
"Three days ago. Please, go check and see if he's alright. I'm getting worried." Romeo said, his voice getting shakier by the minute.
"No way a job this simple should take that long." Mizu said, making his way to the entrance. "Let's go." Tyson and Lucy followed him to the entrance.
Romeo had tears running down his face and said, "You guys are the best."
Tyson turned towards Lucy and said, "We'll look at the apartment later."
Lucy shook her head and said, "This is more important than where I'll be staying."
Tyson smiled and said, "You already have the Fairy Tail spirit. You'll fit in rather well."
Lucy smiled and Tyson then said, "We are headed to Mt. Hakobe, which is really cold this time of year, so go to the guild stores and get some winter clothing. Happy will show you where it is."
Happy nodded and then took Lucy to the guild storage space in the basement, where she found a thick fur-lined pink winter coat, some dark blue winter pants and a pair of white winter boots.
Lucy and Happy came back upstairs and Lucy said to Tyson, "Alright, I am ready."
Tyson nodded and then he, Lucy, Mizu and Happy all went walking to a magic mobile rental place.
Time skip...
Lucy was in the passenger seat of the magic mobile they had rented, Happy was on her lap, while Tyson carefully drove the vehicle and Mizu sat in the back.
The magic mobile was a new model that had come out only a few months earlier. Unlike past models, this one had a special function that altered the wheels in a instant to adapt to changes in terrain it was currently driving on. This allowed it to have unbelievable control on ice and other conditions, even when driving at 95 miles an hour. It also had a small section in the back for injured people to lay down on and receive help.
Due to his status Tyson got the magic mobile with little effort and they now approached the top of Mt. Hakobe.
Tyson drove the magic mobile a few minutes longer and then stopped, they finally reached the top of Mt. Hakobe.
Tyson stepped out and received the full brunt of the extreme blizzard swirling around the top of the mountain, but Igneel's adopted son was unaffected due to the fact he was a Ice Dragon Slayer as well.
Happy as well faced the onslaught of mother nature with almost no reaction, even though he was nowhere near as powerful as Tyson, he also faced and conquered climates much worse.
Mizu also didn't seem to be affected by the blizzard.
Lucy was also taking the cold very well, what with being wrapped up in the extremely thick and well insulated winter clothing she had borrowed from the guild.
Tyson then placed his hand on the magic mobile and a dragon glyph was placed on the right door.
It was rather simple, two serpentine dragons twisting around a large flame.
This dragon glyph was special, it would serve as a homing beacon, calling out to him so he can find the magic mobile later once they find Macao.
Tyson then lifted his head and took a couple deep breaths, trying to pick up Macao's scent.
After nearly five minutes, he called it quits. Even though his senses were better than anything else on Earthland, but the blizzard is causing all sorts of interference with his sense of smell.
Tyson looked back at Lucy and Happy then shouted, "I can't pick up Macao's scent, there's too much interference from the blizzard!"
Happy shouted back, "Then we'll just have to find him the old-fashioned way!"
Happy then disappeared in a cloud of smoke and when he came back, he had assumed his large Battle Tiger form.
Happy, Tyson, Mizu and Lucy then began to search all around for any clue where Macao could have gone, while also keeping an eye out for any Vulcan's left behind.
After about two hours of searching, and not finding a thing the group then proceeded to walk back to the magic mobile to move to another part of the mountain.
Lucy was behind them, her legs starting to get extremely sore from all the hiking she had just done.
She then felt as if something was watching her.
She turned around just in time to see a large ten foot tall ape with snow white fur all over it's body come flying out of nowhere.
Before Lucy could do anything, the ape took a breath and released a large green cloud.
When Lucy breathed in some of the cloud, she immediately began to feel faint and within seconds was out cold, not a sound having been made during the whole exchange.
The ape grinned perversely and said, "Woman, woman, woman."
The ape then picked Lucy up and took off for his cave.
Tyson and Happy were unaware of what just happened, the howling blizzard masked the Vulcan's approach and the blizzard was sending so many scents everywhere trying to isolate a single one was extremely difficult.
Mizu happened to turn around and noticed someone was missing.
"Hey guys, Lucy's gone!" He called out to the others.
Tyson turned and saw she was nowhere to be found. "Happy! Lucy is missing."
"Damn it! What are we going to do?" Happy asked.
"I'll tell you what we do. Follow the tracks." Tyson said.
Happy nodded and with that, the three set out determined to find their missing friends.
Meanwhile...
The Vulcan had reached his cave, he was much faster than Tyson, Happy and Mizu in the snow.
He gently placed Lucy down against some ice and began to dance around her while chanting, "Woman, woman, woman!"
After a little while, Lucy began to wake up and saw she was in some kind of cave.
She then heard a voice say, "Woman, woman, woman!"
She twirled around and saw the creature that had knocked her out was dancing around her while doing a weird dance.
Lucy got really angry, this thing had knocked her out and taken her to his cave against her will, she was going to lay the hurt down on this stupid monkey.
She quickly reached for her key ring and took one off it.
She twirled the key around her fingers and shouted out, "Open, Gate of the Golden Bull, TAURUS!"
She pointed the key to the ground and a large magic circle appeared, and from the circle emerged a large figure.
The large figure was revealed to be a rather large humanoid bull man. The bull was standing on two legs, was approximately 8 feet tall, had white fur all over his body, while black patches of fur were all over his body as well. He had two large bull horns coming out of his forehead, two bull ears on either side of his head, and rather small black eyes. He wore brown leather guards on his forearms, lower legs, and had light brown leather armor on his chest and waist as well and finally he had black combat boots on to complete his appearance. On his back was a massive 7 foot tall two-sided battle axe that had silver edging to the massive blades, while the rest of the axe blades were black with red writing near the handle of the axe.
"Let's mooooove along!" Taurus shouted out as he flexed his massive muscles.
"Taurus, I need your help! That perverted monkey over there kidnapped me and took me here to his cave!" Lucy said to her old friend.
Taurus' eyes glowed red and he shouted out, "WHAT?!" to Lucy.
"He kidnapped me and took me here to his cave." Lucy said.
Taurus turned towards the Vulcan and shouted out, "Listen here you no good perverted ape! Lucy is my dear friend and you kidnapped her, big mistake, because I am going to kick the shit out of you!"
Taurus then charged for the Vulcan, the Vulcan meeting his charge.
The two combatants met in the middle of the cave, the force of their fists meeting caused a small shock wave to ripple out and destroy a lot of the icicles surrounding them.
The Vulcan was pretty strong, but Taurus wasn't a gold Celestial Spirit for nothing and he quickly overpowered the Vulcan then began to unleash blow after blow to the Vulcan's face, chest and stomach.
The Vulcan was flung back and struck the far wall with immense force, creating cracks that went everywhere.
Lucy smiled and said, "Yeah, good job Taurus!"
Taurus smiled at Lucy and said, "Just doing my duty."
The Vulcan pried himself from the wall and began to pant.
Taurus looked at the Vulcan and said, "What's the matter you dirty ape? Give up so soon?"
The Vulcan began to growl and then he roared out, a purple aura formed around him as purple flames came bursting forth from his fists.
Taurus was a little shocked to see a Vulcan using purple flames, most Vulcan's could not use Fire magic, they could only use Take-Over magic, which allowed them to possess people.
Taurus then realized it, this Vulcan had taken over someone and was now accessing their victim's magic to bolster their own.
Taurus then drew his massive axe and got into his defensive stance, with the Vulcan now using flames, he had to be a lot more careful, the Vulcan could now attack from a distance, while Taurus was still only limited to close-quarters combat.
The Vulcan roared out and said, "I don't like men, I like only women! Go away!"
"Never! Lucy is not only my master, she is my friend and I will not allow you to hurt her!" Taurus roared back.
The Vulcan then roared out once again and gathered his purple flames sending a massive vortex of fire towards the bull.
Taurus calmly stood his ground and once the flames were close enough, he began to spin his axe in a circle, faster and faster the axe spun until it started to create a vortex.
The flames struck the axe, but by then the axe was spinning so fast that the flames were dissipated within seconds after hitting the axe.
The Vulcan growled, seeing his attack fail, but then he saw the roof of the cave still had a lot of icicles and he had a idea.
He sent a large fireball into the ceiling, causing a large explosion, which led to a number of icicles and rocks beginning to fall down towards Lucy and Taurus.
Taurus saw the danger and ran to Lucy covering her with his body, protecting her from the falling icicles and rocks.
Taurus groaned in pain as the ice and rocks struck his back with a lot of force, but he refused to be moved from his spot, that would leave Lucy vulnerable to danger.
Eventually, the ice and rocks stop falling and Taurus got up with a groan of pain.
Before he could fully get up, the Vulcan appeared in front of him and struck Taurus with a flaming punch straight to the face.
Taurus cried out in pain as he was flung into a wall, creating cracks and a small crater, while also increasing the pain his back was feeling.
Taurus opened one of his eyes and saw the Vulcan was preparing to attack once again.
But before he could do that, Lucy chucked a rock right at his face and she got a bullseye, hitting the perverted monkey right in the face with the rock, causing the Vulcan to become stunned from the surprise attack for a few seconds.
This was all the time Taurus needed and he got himself out of the wall, grabbed his axe that he had dropped and rushed the Vulcan.
Before the Vulcan could fully comprehend what was going on, Taurus was already in mid swing with his mighty battle axe, so the Vulcan could do nothing but watch as the axe completed the swing and smashed right into his chest, causing all the air to leave his body, along with a little saliva as the force of the blow flung him back into another wall.
The Vulcan was breathing heavily now, that last blow had almost knocked him out, but somehow the Vulcan was still conscious.
Lucy then had a idea and said to Taurus, "Taurus, fling me towards him."
Taurus looked a little apprehensive about this idea, but Lucy was his master and he trusted her, so he grabbed her by the waist, twirled her around a few times and then flung Lucy towards the now standing Vulcan.
Lucy adjusted herself in midair, stretched her right leg out and shouted, "LUCY KICK!"
The Vulcan looked up towards Lucy just in time to see her foot come crashing right into his face, the force of the impact burying the Vulcan's head several feet into the wall, a small shock wave from the force was created and finally, the Vulcan was defeated.
Lucy jumped off the Vulcan's face and landed on her feet, all those years of doing yoga and gymnastics had made her body quite flexible and maneuverable.
Taurus came running over to Lucy and said, "Are you alright?"
Lucy nodded to Taurus and said, "I am fine. Are you okay?"
Taurus nodded and said, "A little sore on the back, but otherwise I am A-okay."
Lucy nodded and was about to say something when the furthest wall from her exploded with immense force.
Taurus stood in front of Lucy to protect her from the force of the explosion, but it was so strong he began to slide backwards.
Eventually the winds created from the explosion were sucked up and Lucy got to see what had caused the explosion.
It turned out to be Tyson Dragneel, who's arms are covered in fire and electricity.
By his side was a angry Happy, who was holding the heads of two beaten down and unconscious Vulcan's smashed into one another.
After spotting Lucy, Tyson extinguished the flames and electricity.
Behind him, Mizu was holding the head of a third Vulcan.
He and Happy threw the three Vulcan's out of the hole they created with ease and the trio ran over to Lucy.
"Are you okay?" Tyson asked her.
"Yeah, I'm okay." Lucy said as the three approached.
"I'm impressed." Mizu told her. "You managed to knock out a Alpha Vulcan on your first request, nice job."
"Alpha Vulcan?" Lucy asked, confused.
"Yeah, Alpha Vulcan's are some of the oldest and strongest Vulcan's of them all, they are very tricky because sometimes they can show the magic of previous mages they have taken over, leaving them with a large repertoire of spells and strength to draw from. You can tell a Alpha Vulcan apart from a regular Vulcan by their magical power, it's always greater than a regular Vulcan."
"Ah, I see." Lucy said.
Then, a bright flash erupted from the Vulcan and when it faded, a man was left.
The man was in his late 30's, slightly muscular, slim and of average height. He had short, slicked back dark blue hair, dark eyebrows and dark eyes, with a large amount of stubble, along with a thin mustache. He was wearing a knee-length white jacket with a dark blue collar, a dark blue t-shirt underneath, brown pants held up with a white belt that has a golden belt buckle and finally he has a light blue necklace that has the same "S" Romeo has on his shirt.
"Macao." Mizu said.
The three ran towards their guild mate and checked him for injuries, with Lucy's assistance.
Once they determined Macao could be moved, Tyson carried him over his right shoulder and told the other three, "Let's take him to Porlyusica."
Happy, Lucy and Mizu nodded and after Lucy sent Taurus back to the Celestial Spirit World with her thanks, the four took Macao back to the magic mobile as fast as possible.
As they traveled there, Lucy noticed a large number of knocked out Vulcan's everywhere, with large craters and body impressions of Vulcan's everywhere.
Lucy then asked Tyson, "What happened?"
"Well, when we tried to follow the Vulcan that captured you, we encountered fifty of them in a large group. So we tried to move around them to try and find you, but they cut us off. Knowing we didn't have time, Happy and I decided to use 3% of our maximum power and Mizu triggered Dragon Force then we knocked almost all of them out with a single attack. Then we took out the ones that were left and felt your magic power so we headed that direction and well, you get the idea." Tyson said.
Lucy nodded and said, "Thanks for helping me."
Tyson stared at her as if she had grown a second head and said, "I didn't do anything, you knocked out a Alpha Vulcan on your very first job, not many people can pull that off. That shows you have a lot of potential within. You will be a fine wizard one day."
Lucy looked down and said, "But Taurus did all the work, all I did was kick the Vulcan and give him a distraction."
"Don't sell yourself short." Mizu told her. "You still contributed in the Alpha Vulcan's defeat and found Macao as well."
"He's right. You just need a little bit of work and you'll be even stronger." Tyson added.
"You think so?" Lucy asked, her eyes filled with hope.
"Yeah. Let's get Macao out of here." Tyson said as they head back to the magic mobile.
Lucy gained a look of determination on her face and said, "Right."
Tyson set Macao in the back of the magic mobile, where Lucy began to treat his wounds with aid from Happy, while Tyson made his way to the driver's seat and started up the magic mobile.
It flared to life and then Tyson drove it back towards Magnolia.
Time skip...
The last flares of the day began to fade as the sun started setting in the city of Magnolia.
Romeo was standing by the guild, waiting for Lucy, Mizu, Happy and Tyson to bring his father back, all the while thinking about what had caused Macao to go on that mission.
Several other boys from the town had been making fun of Romeo and Fairy Tail, so Romeo had gone to his father and told him to do something incredible, so Macao took the job to get rid of the Vulcan's on top of Mt. Hakobe.
Romeo felt deep regret for telling his father to take the job, he felt as if it was his fault his father was missing and the guilt was eating him up inside.
"Hey Romeo!" Mizu called out.
He spun around to see him, Tyson, Happy and Lucy helping a bandaged Macao walk towards the guild hall.
Romeo's eyes began to water as he ran towards his father to give him a back breaking hug.
"Daddy, I am so sorry for saying all those things!" Romeo began, but Macao cut him off.
"It's alright son. Next time those bullies give you problems, simply tell them can your dad defeat 35 Vulcan's? Because mine can!" Macao said.
Romeo cried some more, but nodded.
Lucy, Happy and Tyson smiled at the heartwarming scene and then started walking away, but they heard Romeo say, "Thanks, you guys are the best!"
All four waved back at Romeo and continued on their way. Mizu went into the guild
Tyson looked at Lucy and said, "I promised to show you the apartment I mentioned earlier."
He led the group by the river and approached a nice looking apartment building.
Tyson knocked on the door and a elderly woman opened it then said, "Yes?"
"Hello, I'm Tyson Dragneel. My friend is looking for a place to stay." Tyson gestured to Lucy.
The landlady nodded and said, "Follow me."
She took them up to a apartment and said, "What do you think of it?"
Lucy looked inside the apartment and saw it was a very nice little place to stay and said, "I love it, how much is the rent?"
"Rent is 70,000 jewel a month. Down payment is required." The land lady replied.
Before either of them could say another word, Tyson took out a bag of jewels and handed them to the land lady and said, "Would this be enough. Let me know if more is needed."
He and Happy then left the building, leaving a stunned Lucy and landlady behind, who then turned to Lucy and said, "Nice boyfriend you got there."
Lucy blushed and said, "He's not my boyfriend."
The landlady raised her right eyebrow and said, "Really? Then honey, you need to make your move."
Lucy blushed even more and said, "I've only known him for one day."
The landlady kept her eyebrow raised and said, "Then honey, you have really good boyfriend material there."
The landlady then went downstairs to get the papers for Lucy so they could finalize the agreement.
Meanwhile Lucy was desperately trying to cool down her cheeks.
Lucy really liked Tyson, he was funny, kind, compassionate and really handsome, but she only knew him for a day, so why did she become so embarrassed when she was teased about her and him?
Eventually Lucy got her face under control and then she went downstairs and signed the papers with the landlady.
Lucy now had a home that only cost 70,000 jewel a month, the rooms at Fairy Hills, the dorm for the girls at Fairy Tail cost 100,000 jewel per month not that she was aware of that dorm.
Lucy then went upstairs into her apartment and took out the old book from the merchant in Hargeon Tyson purchased for her.
She opened the book and saw that indeed, the author's name was blurred out from existence, making it impossible to find out who had written this book.
Turning the page to the index, she saw this:

"Chapter Nine: How To Create and Utilize Star Dress Form."
"Chapter Ten: Final Notes."
There was a lot of information to read and absorb, but what stuck to her the most was the fact that there was a way to create PLATINUM Celestial Spirit Keys!
She had never heard of the Platinum Keys before, they sounded powerful.
She flipped to that page and began to read.
"Platinum Celestial Spirit Keys are the strongest of all keys, they can summon spirits of such terrifying power which is only exceeded by the Celestial Spirit King and so only three were created.
Their names are: Draco, the Dragon, Skyress, the Phoenix and Artemis, the Paladin.
They are just beneath the Celestial Spirit King in terms of power.
They were created to be the guardians of Earthland, to fight and protect everything that ever was or ever will be and it was due to their actions the Dragon Civil War was won, but they paid the ultimate price.

Now, to create a Platinum Key, some components are required.
To create Draco's key for example, you will need pure grade Platinum, a vial of dragon blood and five Fire Dragon Scales.
Meanwhile, Skyress's key requires once again, some pure grade Platinum, a vial of Phoenix blood and five Sky Phoenix feathers.
Finally, Artemis's key requires pure grade Platinum, the legendary sword Excalibur, and a vial of blood from the Holy Grail.
To create one of these keys one will need the legendary hammer Mjolnir and a unbreakable will.
I would not recommend creating the Platinum Keys until one has 7 Zodiac Keys and has opened three Gates at once, then one will be able to handle the strain of creating the Platinum keys."
Lucy was excited, these spirits sounded amazing, spirits that were nearly as powerful as the Celestial Spirit King was something she had never thought might happen, yet there were three almost as powerful as him.
But her face fell when she saw the ingredients required for creating said keys, it would be almost impossible for her to create them and she wasn't even capable of opening three gates.
Sighing, she turned the book back to Chapter One and began to read when her door opened and Tyson and Happy entered the apartment, holding a bunch of food.
"Tyson? Happy? What are you two doing here?" Lucy asked.
"Well, we figured since you haven't gotten any groceries, we decided to bring you some food. Do you like meat." Tyson said with a smile.
Lucy smiled back and said, "Who doesn't like steak."
Happy smiled and said, "We are going to be good friends."
Happy and Tyson walked over to the fridge and began to put the food away.
Lucy also helped out and within twenty minutes, all the food was put away and the three had made some sandwiches and were eating right now, when Tyson noticed the book.
"That's the book I purchased for you." Tyson said.
Lucy nodded and he asked, "Is it of any use?"
Lucy nodded and said, "It is very helpful, it talked about how to create Platinum Keys, but the components to create one are almost impossible to find."
Tyson and Happy were intrigued and Tyson said, "Platinum, but aren't Gold Keys the best ones?"
Lucy nodded and said, "So did I, but apparently there were once three keys that could summon super strong spirits, Draco, the Dragon, Skyress the Phoenix and Artemis the Paladin. But somehow their keys were lost and to recreate them you need some pure grade Platinum, a vial of dragon blood, five fire dragon scales, a vial of Phoenix blood, five Sky Phoenix feathers, the legendary sword Excalibur, a vial filled with blood from the Holy Grail and finally you'll need the legendary hammer Mjolnir."
"I actually have some of those." Tyson said.
Lucy's head snapped towards him so fast he was worried she might have whiplash and she said, "You do?!"
"I'll show you after dinner." Tyson nodded.
Lucy nodded and once they were finished eating, they walked towards Happy and Tyson's house.
Lucy gasped when she saw it.
It was more like a mansion, as it was three stories tall and 250 feet from end to end.
"This is where Happy and I live." Tyson said.
He opened the door and led Lucy inside, Happy following behind.
The inside of the house was nicely decorated, with brown oak flooring and white oak walls and a few nice paintings here and there.
Tyson took Lucy to his personal study up on the second floor.
The house had three sections: First floor was living room, kitchen and the memory room, this is where completed job requests were kept. The basement housed the laundry room and was also where extra stuff could be kept for future use. The second floor contained his personal study which allowed him to think while Happy's study had several fishing lines and rods in the event he wanted to go on a all day fishing trip. There was also a library with a large number of books and tomes depicting past adventures for future reference and last but not least the third floor was where the bedrooms were and the bathrooms as well.
Tyson's personal study area had a large black oak desk, with several papers covering it. On the far right of the room was a large map of the continent, where a large number of "X's" were located on many towns. The far left side of the room had a bookshelf holding a large number of old books and some scrolls as well. There were also two leather couches in front of the desk and finally on the ceiling of the room was a large painting of the nighttime sky, painted to near 100% accuracy.
Tyson made his way to the right side of the room and pressed a specific spot on the wall.
The wall slowly split open and a vault was revealed.
He placed his hand onto the vault and it opened with a 'click.'
There were several shelves in the vault, each holding a few objects.
Tyson opened the box and showed Lucy that it contained a vial of blood and several dragon scales.
Lucy gasped and asked, "How did you get these?"
"It was real easy since I'm a Dragon Slayer." He explained.
Lucy nodded and then said, "But what about the other items? They are going to be almost impossible to find."
"Actually, they aren't." Tyson said.
He unrolled a map with a few spots marked on it and said, "I've heard rumors of a Phoenix in the mountains near Crocus, as for Mjolnir, I can simply borrow it from Thor. Excalibur on the other hand is said to have been taken by a Wraith after King Arthur's death and is somewhere on Avalon. The Holy Grail's location is unknown, but I can help you find it."
Lucy narrowed her eyes and said, "Why go through all this trouble to help someone you just met?"
"I haven't seen a dragon in nearly 10 years." Tyson admitted. "Would be nice to encounter one again."
Lucy nodded and said, "Well, thanks for your help."
He then went back to the map and said, "I can help you find everything else needed for the Platinum Keys, but let's wait until you can summon three spirits before we do that."
Lucy nodded and after having a brief conversation with him, the two walked back to Lucy's apartment, with Happy following closely behind.
Once back at her apartment Tyson said, "I'll see you at 5:30 tomorrow morning for your first training session."
Lucy nodded and said, "I understand."
Tyson smiled and said, "See you in the morning." then he and Happy returned home.
His mind was then focused on a red-haired woman as he thought, 'Hey Erza, when are you coming back? It's starting to get boring around here.'
Elsewhere a red-haired woman was about to fall asleep when she picked up on what he was thinking and thought back, 'I'll be back soon.'
He chuckled, 'Good to hear.'
Erza smiled and thought, 'See you in a few days.'
'Night.'
Erza smiled and drifted off to sleep, while Tyson and Happy walked back to get some rest and prepare for tomorrow's early training session.
The days of peace neared their end, evil began to stir once again, but like before a champion of light stands ready to banish the darkness back to the abyss from whence it came.
