I have the final chapter that follows Erza! I'm not going to lie I want to get to canon already I am excited about it!
after this, we will have a chapter about Alex and his training and him setting off on his journey across the continent there won't be much of his story outside of Fiore because I'm going to time skip that part straight to him arriving in magnolia looking for Fairy Tail.

Chapter eight The Escape

There is going to be a small torture scene in this it isn't bad I cut out almost all of the stuff in it just implied torture now no actual writing of it
Erza Pov
It was time, we were waiting for Jellal to unlock the cell door so we could begin.
"Alright let's do this!" Wally said
"Okay everyone will need to follow Erza's lead until we make it to the hatch got it?" Jellal said unlocking the door.
"Right!" everyone said in unison.
"Good luck kids I know you can do it," Grandpa Rob said with a smile.
And so it began, they all followed me out of the cell and we started our descent into the tower. We followed the stairs until we reached one level down. Then nearly ran into some guards on the second floor thankfully due to my knowledge we were able to get passed them. This continued for another two floors until we had to hide due to an unexpected event.
"What that boy?" I heard a guard call out.
"Everyone stop and go back up there is someone still awake here," I said urgently ushering them back up.
"Everyone go back quickly and quietly!" Jellal whispered.
As we all made it back up around the side of the tower we heard the guard start talking again.
"Hmm what is it?" He said to himself
"There is nothing here, must have been the wind…" he trailed off, "let's go back to sleep." We heard him say as he was walking back to wherever he came from.
"Phew that was close," I said wiping the sweat from my brow.
"Okay," I began. "We need to be extra careful with those dogs about it is going to be harder to make it down, but we should still be able to make it only 4 more floors to go."
"Right continue on then," Jellal said.
We were moving once more, we made it down two more floors until we almost got caught once again and I had to say.
"Alright this is where my knowledge ends I was never able to hear anything from the last two floors about guard shifts at night, so we can't assume to be a hundred percent safe through here so stay quiet and follow Jellal to the hatch," I said motioning Jellal forwards.
"Right," he nodded. "Everyone follow me I will take over now."
We made our way down the last two floors being extremely careful so we wouldn't alert any guards on our way. As we were making our way to the storage room where the hatch was located we were caught by a guard.
"Gotcha!" A voice said from behind us, "where do you think you all were going…." He said before a thunk came from behind him.
"Simon!" I said looking at the kid who just knocked out this man with a large club.
"We need to bind and hide him so we can make our escape someone help me tie him up with his clothing."
We proceeded to tie him and gag him and place the mage in a spot where they wouldn't be able to find him for a while that way we still had enough time to make it off the island.
"Okay, here it is!" Jellal said point at a hatch on the ground.
He walked up to the hatch and managed to open it leading us into a large underground cave.
"Wow, what do you think this place is for?" Millianna asked.
"This is a trash cave, they dump all the discarded things they find lying about down here that's how I know this leads to the ocean I saw a ton of garbage floating out into the sea from the exit once," Jellal said hoping down into the hatch.
"Alright guys come down it is safe," he said.
"I'll go last in case something happens," Simon offered.
"Let's get moving," I said hoping down into the cave.
It was quite a large cave it was about fifty feet in either direction and one long passage filled with water that was about 100ft long that led to the shore.
"Cmon let's go!" Wally said running forwards.
"Be quiet Wally!" Jellal said running up to him.
As we all managed to make it to the shore we saw the boat waiting there for us unoccupied so we could take it and sail the coast until we reach the mainland.
"Quickly let us get out of here!" Jellal said running to the boat.
"Woohoo!" Sho said
"Finally," I said smiling but that was short-lived when we were suddenly surrounded by the guards and their hounds.
"No!" I yelled, "we were so close!" I said trying to push my way through the circle only to get kicked back into the group.
"Well, well, look who we've got here." A man with a long billowing cloak and pale white eyes said walking up to us.
"Pale Eyes!" I said trying to stand back up
"Well, it seems we have some runaways I wonder what I should do with you…"
"How's this," he said walking closer to our group causing us to stand together.
"If you tell me which one of you created this plan to escape our wonderful tower, I'll let the rest of you go back to your cell and continue to live." He finished with a sickly smile on his face.
We all looked at each other determined not to say anything when I thought to myself.
'They will all die if no one says anything and if anyone were to get taken it should be me I can't let them get hurt.'
"It was m.." I tried to say before being cut off by Jellal.
"It was me I made the plan, I memorized all the guard's schedules and it was me who led us all here." He said with confidence
"Hmm," said Pale Eyes thinking.
"I don't think so," he said, then looked at me. "I think it was the redhead that came up with this plan."
I looked shocked unable to say anything.
"Isn't that right little one?" He asked, "you're just like your brother, rebellious." He said his eyes narrowing.
'Bastard it's as if he knew all along what was going to happen,' I thought.
"Yes that's right it was me who did this!" I yelled loudly cutting of Jellal who was no doubt going to protest this.
"Erza.." He said looking at me.
"Well then take her and bring her to my interrogation room," he said walking off.
I struggled, I struggled hard before resigning myself to my fate, I looked up back at my friends and said.
"It is going to be okay ill meet you guys back at the cell," I said with a faux smile on my face.
"Erza!" They all called out.
The Room
I've been here for who knows how long…
'It's been so long, I don't know what day it is anymore..' I thought looking back at the man who was torturing me and spat in his face, which he promptly wiped off.
"Well it's been three days and I can't say this has been very fun, I wanted to hear your screams but it seems you have become to accustomed to this." He said holding up an electrocution staff.
"I guess we will have to make it more interesting." He said pulling a rack of tools towards me, he searched through one until he found the one he would use to bring me pain.
"Now you have three choices," he started with three fingers in the air. "You can leave now but you have to be replaced by one of your friends." He said putting a finger down. "Two, you can lose one of your eyes." He said again putting down another finger. "And lastly, you can die right here, right now." He put his last finger down.
'Well shit," I thought.
'I can't let him have anyone else, and I don't want to die…'
I looked back up at him.
"Take the eye…" I said weakly
"Good," he smiled. "I thought that you would choose that one!"
Simon Pov
"It's been three days since she was taken I hope she will survive," I said looking down at the ground of our cell.
"Well, we don't have to wait for too much longer because I'm going to go look for her!" Jellal said.
"What?" Sho said
"How are you supposed to go and get her if you haven't noticed we have been locked up in the cell since she's been taken?" Wally asked.
"Well, I stole another key!" Jellal said.
"What!?" We all said in unison.
"How did you even manage that after the last time I would have thought that they would have kept a better eye on you?" I asked
"Well I actually stole it the same day as the other one I managed to lose a stone in the wall and put it in there but it took me until now to fish it out." He said
"Well, what are we waiting for let us go get her!" I said walking up towards the door.
"No!" Jellal said holding me back. "Only I can go if there is more than one person we won't be able to get her back and I don't want you to get hurt either."
"But what if they catch you who will save her then!" I yelled
"I will save her I have a plan and I know it will work." He said with more confidence than I've ever seen him have before.
"Fine," I said resigned.
"Okay, then I'll see you all in a bit when I bring her back!" He said unlocking the cell and running off.
Erza Pov
'He really took my eye,' I thought 'at least my friends are safe…'
"Well look at you don't you look beautiful…." He said pulling my chin up so I could look him in the eyes. and all I could do was stare, I had no strength left in my body.
"Hmm, you know even when your brother was run though he never uttered a word of pain, he just kept staring at you." He said looking me in the eye.
"Don't.. spea-k.. about.. my brother!" I yelled at him giving him a little surprise.
"Oh-ho, looks like you can still speak that means I can torture you more let us see how you do when I take some fingers why don't we?" He asked reaching for my hands.
"NO!" I yelled scooting back to the corner of the cell.
"YES!" He said laughing maniacally while walking towards me slowly.
With each step he was getting close I was getting more and more afraid. I didn't want to lose anything else, I had already lost so much and I can't bear it.
'No, nothing else please!' I thought rolling into a ball in the corner.
Just then the door flew open and someone walked in talking to Pale Eyes and I couldn't hear anything I just was in my own world.
"Well girl," Pale Eye's voice was right beside my ears. "Looks like you're free to go!" He said kicking me.
I sat up and looked towards the door that was open and what I saw made my heart drop. There in the doorway with a guard was Jellal in cuffs being led in to the room and I saw him mouth.
*don't worry I'm taking your place so you can rest..* after which I instantly fell unconscious.
I awoke to Simon standing over me crying and telling me to wake up and when I sat up I saw his shocked face. I then looked down to see bandages all over my body from neck to legs all the places where he scarred me.
"Where is Jellal?" I asked franticly looking around.
"He went to save you, and he never came back," Sho said looking at me.
'No!' I thought 'it wasn't a nightmare it was reality, he can't be there just look at what happened to me.' I finished thinking looking down at my bandaged hands.
"No," I said standing up.
I looked around the room and saw all my fellow slaves lying around the ground some looking at me with concern.
"Stand up," I said
"What?" Simon asked confused.
"All of you stand up!" I yelled raising my fist in the air.
I quickly ran and bust through the cell door causing what I know to be bruising all along the side of my body. I managed to take the guard by surprise and tackle him down and I got his sword. I looked up to the cell that I broke out of to the shocked face inside and I knew it was the time, the time to fight! And so I spoke from the heart,
"Stand up! Fight for your lives and those of your loved ones. Now is the day and the hour. Let everyone you see out of their cages, the days of our imprisonment are numbered. You cannot be more oppressed than you have been, you cannot suffer more than you have already! Rather, die fighting for something you believe in than live to be slaves. Remember that you were born free and were born to be free! FIGHT! "FOR FREEDOM!" I yelled stabbing the man through the heart.
"For Freedom!" My cellmates said all running at the guards some getting cut down and others taking down the guards."
I looked back at my friends who were with Grandpa Rob.
"Let go find Jellal!" I said to them.
We ran through the exit of our cell to see fighting everywhere it seemed that my speech roused all of the slaves within earshot and now they were all fighting and breaking out the others so they could fight.
"Let us go!" I said running off in the direction I knew would lead me to the room Pale Eyes was in, where Jellal was in.
'I hope he will be alright,' I thought running
I looked back to see 12 people behind me all ready to fight for our freedom. Just then we ran into a group of guards who were trying to block us from our destination.
"Surrender or die!" I yelled pointing the sword at them.
"What can you even do thirteen malnourished slaves bah! You wouldn't even be able to hurt a fly!" One of them said while laughing.
I ran at them and cut him down. "No mercy!" I yelled continuing to attack dodging attacks left and right cutting down guards on my way until an explosion threw me back.
"What the hell was that?" Someone asked.
"Magi Soldiers!" Another one yelled.
"Run!" A third one yelled, causing me to look back from where the explosion magic originated.
'shit magic soldiers!' I thought standing up to hold my ground.
"Everyone!" I yelled out. "We must fight together if we are to beat them!" I said looking back at those who were running away. When I turned around I was face to face with a magic soldier.
I tried to slash at it, but nothing happened it was as if it was impervious to my attacks. I quickly redoubled my efforts hacking and slashing, thrusting and stabbing. Nothing worked, no matter how many times I attacked it nothing happened I needed something more, something powerful to punch through their armour.
Then the soldier sent a powerful explosion spell at me and I braced for the worst. Just then a blur appeared in front of me taking the blast. When the fire was gone I looked at the man standing before me Fairy Tail emblem showing on his back.
"Grandpa Rob?" I asked shocked and tears falling from my eye.
"Yes it is Erza," he said falling but before he could he stood back straight looking at me. "You just have to believe in yourself and your friends and you can do anything."
He then looked back at the soldiers and fired volley after volley of fireballs at them destroying the magic soldiers in the process.
"Grandpa Rob I thought you didn't know how to use magic anymore?" I asked
"Well I just had to use the last of it to save my precious granddaughter don't you agree." He said falling to the ground.
"Grandpa Rob!" I yelled going to his side.
"Erza.." He said holding his hand to my cheek and wiping some of the tears from my eye. "You're special Erza exceedingly so, it was worth it to give my life for yours."
"No!" I yelled holding his hand. "you can't die what about your daughter!" I said crying
"Erza look at me," he said and I looked. "My daughter has long since forgotten about me I haven't even talked to her in the years before I was captured." He said sadly
"What?" I asked
"There is one thing you must remember," he said "everything begins from you believing with your heart. You can think of tarots, faith, prayer, and such as Magic. It's a miracle that only true believers can experience. Only those who believe that Magic exists, believe in themselves and believe that they can coexist with everything in nature can use such a thing as Magic. He said coughing up blood and looking back at me with love in his eyes.
"I never thought I could love again.." He started. "I never thought I could see a smile like yours again, in a place like this… freedom," he said pointing at my chest. "Freedom is in your heart." He finished with a loving smile then he closed his eyes forever.
"NO!" I yelled then I felt the warmth exploding from my body crimson power flaring all around me. Then I knew instinctively what I had to do I pushed all my power into the discarded weapons and tools and used them to attack the guards who kept us imprisoned.
After we had cleared everyone from the courtyard we were free to leave on the supply ships.
"Everyone board the boats!" I Yelled getting everyone's attention.
I looked back at the tower and knew I had to go back for him just like he would for me.
Finally done with Erza and now it's time to get back to ya boi Alexander

I had planned a longer set of scenes for the torture but I just couldn't it made me sick after I wrote it so I deleted almost all of it just because I can't stomach torture, it just made me feel horrible after I wrote it I even had to step back from my computer for a bit.
