Summary: Gohan wasn't the only child born of Son Goku and Chichi. With him, they had a daughter who was Gohan's younger twin. But 2 years after she and Gohan were born, Goku's daughter who they had named Kagome was kidnapped sometime during the night, leaving no evidence behind. After months of searching, they could not find her, leaving the Son family distraught and Chichi even more protective than before. Now, about eleven years after that fateful night and all that's happened after Gohan was kidnapped by Raditz, the androids are about to appear... along with a young face that the Z-Fighters never met but can't deny looks very similar to their ill friend's son.

Prequel

With the warm air of mid-spring, Chichi could the birds singing and other creatures scurrying about outside her home as she continued to wash the dishes she had used that morning to make and serve breakfast for her father, husband, and herself. Although strangely, despite her knowing that she was pregnant and with a pretty big and healthy baby, Chichi definitely noticed the amount she was eating, which was almost as much as her loveable bottomless pit of a husband.

'Oh well, if this baby is going to be anything like its father, I guess the appetite had to be inherited too.' Chichi thought as she finished drying the last plate to put back in the cabinet. Every now and then, she would look out the window to see Goku and her father outside while her husband shadowboxed.

As she was lifting it and the other plates to set in its cabinet, a jolt of pain caught her off guard. Wincing from the pain, Chichi lost her grip on the plates as her hands went straight to her swollen belly, letting the plates fall with a crash that caught the attention of the men outside. As the pain seemed to be increasing, Chichi fell to her knees clutching her stomach as he heard her father and Goku call out to her in concern.

Seeing his wife kneeling on the floor near shards of broken dishes and her arms wrapped around her swollen belly, Goku was instantly by her side along with Ox as he asked with concern, "Chichi! Are you okay? What happened?"

"Chichi, honey! Are you hurt?" Ox soon followed, before noticing a puddle of liquid starting to surround her from underneath.

The Son matriarch winced once again as she felt another jolt of pain that soon followed the previous after feeling her water break. Now knowing what she was feeling were her contractions, Chichi replied to the two men with pain coloring her voice, "M-my water broke, you two... one of you call a d-doctor. I think today's the day!"

Although Ox went into action of calling the doctor from the village, Goku couldn't help but feel confused and asked, "The day for what Chichi?"

"THE BABY IS COMING!" The soon-to-be mother snapped, finally getting through to her husband as he started to frantically ask what he should do.

Seeing as Chichi was already going through too much pain from the contractions, Ox spoke with the phone in hand, "Goku, go get the doctor from the village and bring him here! He said that he'll be outside waiting for you to get him!"

And with that order, Goku was out of the house summoning the Nimbus before flying off to retrieve the village doctor.

Hours later, and after a difficult delivery, both Goku and Chichi were at Orange Star City Hospital standing over an incubator that held a small and frail baby with a monkey's tail while in Chichi's arms was her and Goku's healthy baby son. Both new parents looked down at the baby in the incubator with worried expression as it was hooked up to tubes and even a heart monitor.

From behind them, a doctor walked up to them and spoke, bringing their attention to their person, "Mrs. Chichi... Mr. Goku, please be reassured that we'll do everything we can to help your daughter. But right now, it's late and I know for certain that Mrs. Chichi needs her rest after a long and difficult labor." Seeing their looks of hesitation of leaving their daughter alone, the doctor reassured once more, "We'll keep you two up to date on your daughter and we'll keep watch over her around the clock. The two of you will be the first to know if we find any change."

Chichi, as she was still holding her son, rested a hand on the clear surface of the enclosure that was not only keeping her only daughter warm but also keeping her alive. She didn't know how her son could be born fully developed and healthy while her daughter looked like she was barely looking a couple months premature, despite that she carried both babies for a little over nine months, almost ten.

'She looks so frail...' She thought, almost feeling herself about to cry.

Feeling a strong hand rest on her shoulder, Chichi looked up to see Goku staring at her with soft eyes that were also colored with worry for not only her but also for their daughter as he spoke softly, "Chichi, you take care of our son and rest. I'll watch over our daughter."

Looking between their daughter and her husband, Chichi nodded before allowing the doctor to lead her and her son away from her daughter to the room she was given to rest in.

Once his wife disappeared from the doorway to the room, Goku looked back at the incubator and gently rested his hand on its clear surface of the plastic that kept him and his wife from touching her, while replaying the turn of events in his head.

Back home, the doctor had no choice but to deliver the baby at their house. After Chichi had given birth to their son and the umbilical cord was cut, the new mother soon started to go into contractions again before handing their son to Ox King to get cleaned up. It was then that they were told that Chichi was carrying twins but it seemed that their second child was a little more difficult to deliver than their son.
