Summary: Shortly after returning home from two years of being in the Feudal Era and defeating Naraku, Kagome notices that the stars had disappeared and are replaced with some things resembling them. Her world is then turned upside down once more as human-like beings that call themselves Contractors start to appear, including humans without emotion called Dolls... What would happen if Kagome contact with a certain young man named Li Shun Sheng, who's also a Contractor named Hei, a.k.a. BK-201?
Chapter One
Aside from the faint sounds of crickets chirping, sirens almost wailing, and the roaring of the car engines, it was pretty quiet where Kagome was currently located.
The miko let out a slightly depressed sigh as she continued to look at the night sky and their fake stars. Whenever she looked at them, she felt nostalgia and remembered the true stars that almost completely covered the night sky during the Sengoku era... the same stars that were soon completely covered by the ones over her now, ten years ago.
As a child, maybe six years old, Kagome remembered always stargazing with her father and hear him tell stories behind each constellation they found. Her first meteor shower was even viewed with her father... just three months before he passed away.
After coming back from being away in the Sengoku era while fighting Naraku, Kagome guessed that something must've happened to the stars. She didn't know what but it was obviously something that created some sort of cloak to cover the stars. Not to mention word about something called Hell's Gate... and in South America; Heaven's Gate. Then there was mention about people with powers who called themselves Contractors, as well as Dolls, which were emotionless mediums, along with Moratoria and Regressors.
But what she had heard of were just rumors and couldn't understand most of it. All she knew was while she was in the past trying to put the Jewel back together and hunting down Naraku with her friends, lots of strange things had happened that she didn't notice.
And now that she was through with her duties in the Sengoku Era, Kagome took notice of everything from the now obvious wall that surrounds Hell's Gate, the off positions of the stars that seem to disappear on certain nights, and the strange occurrences and murders that seem almost inhuman while also linked together.
Releasing another sigh, Kagome shook her head before standing. There was no need to dwell on the past. There was nothing that she could do to change it, even if she could turn back time...
'Just like what happened... when we had faced Naraku for the last time...' the emotion in the miko's eyes grew sad, thinking back on the final battle. Even though her friends, Sango, Miroku, Kirara, Shippó, and a majority of her other allies had survived
