Chapter One

Kagome breathed in as she looked over at the other girl beside her, they had just arrived at this place and Kagome could already tell things were going to be interesting. She had a shield to block everyone from feeling her powers, but she didn't know if she could keep it up forever.

She also didn't know how they looked at humans with spiritual powers. She saw how Lucifer looked and talked down at them for being human, she could only imagine what would happen when they knew she had 'holy powers'

She quietly followed the butler who didn't say much to them but lead them to where their rooms would be.

"These will be your rooms for now," Barbatos told the girls, his eyes went to both of them, before he turned his attention to the girl, Yuri, she believed her name was.

"This will be your room." His attention went to Kaogme next, "Your room was made up quickly since we weren't expecting an extra person. Apparently, you were a last minute add on..." She could hear like he wanted to say more, but Kagome kept her mouth shut.

"Your room is this one here." He motioned to the room across the hall from Yuri who had her head down submissively, she seemed to still be in a bit of shock so Kagome would leave her alone for now.

"Someone will be by in the morning for you two." He gave a small nod to the two girls before leaving them standing there in the hall. Kagome sighed again, not knowing what to say to the other girl, who now had her full attention on her.

"Get some sleep..."Kagome told the girl, quickly giving her a small wave before going into her room, shutting the door with a sharp 'snap'. Kagome leaned against the door letting her body sag until she met the floor.

Today definitely hadn't ended how she thought it would. She was literally in hell...

Why her. Didn't she give enough with putting the Shikon no Tama back together...but now she has to be a part of this...exchange program! She already finished high school! Thank you very much! She didn't want to be back in a school!

Running a hand through her hair she looked around the room. It was nice, but as he said it only had bare essentials in it...maybe she could ask about having her own items...she would like to have things that would make her more comfortable since they did drag her to hell...literally. The least they could do is bring items she wanted from her own home.

Standing up Kagome went and sat on the bed, trying to figure out what she was going to do. Soon her shield would go down, and she didn't know what to do.

She could only guess she would end up with demons on her doorstep to question her...or to investigate on the influx of power that showed up.

'I will hold off as long as I can.' Kagome thought as she let herself fall back into the bed, her eyes looking at the ceiling, ' I can probably hold it to after midnight...' She closed her eyes, taking a deep breath, hoping nothing bad would happen.

She fell into a meditative state as she waited for the time to go by. She wasn't tired, her instincts were on haywire. Taking a breath in she held it before letting it out. She had been bored in her life, she wasn't going to lie...so a new adventure would be fun...though this isn't the adventure she wanted.

She was in hell...and she didn't know how to feel about it. Her powers weren't going totally crazy but they were telling her that there were powerful beings around. They felt different from the demons in the past she had encountered. Then again, since she bonded with the Shikon no Tama, she hadn't felt what demons felt like.

She had made a wish on the jewel, and it threw her back in her era as punishment...and then bonding to her until the end of time. The Shikon and her were one now. Her blood even ran pink from the power of the jewel.

She was forever tired of it...and she didn't even know the full extent of what the thing did to her...but she was happy that everyone she loved was living a happy life. They could move on with their lives and she was content with that.

Kagome flinched a bit as she felt her energy waver. She closed her eyes and let the shied around her drop, her power running free for all those around her to feel. The powers around her seemed to all freeze.

Total silence.

Before she felt multiple powers brush against hers, testing...testing. Kagome shivered as she felt them brush against her power again, trying to coax it out to play so it could figure out what it was. Kagome bit her lip, raining her power in as tight as she could without shielding herself. She could do that for now, but she needed rest. She had used a lot of her power to shield herself and needed a break to get herself back into full power.

She had done a bunch of cleanses and made a bunch of infused charms at the Shrine, she had been low on power, just enough to keep her shielded from everyone and everything. She was regretting it now.

Kagome could feel someone getting closer to her room, it wasn't malicious. It was curious...very very curious. Its powers brushed up against hers once more...and when Kagome didn't do the same it pushed more and more. Kagome felt her powers snap out in warning to stay away.

...after that, she heard a primal growl...the sound of her door flying open and wood breaking.

Kagome sat up in bed quickly, the door was left wide open, half off the hinges as she took in who was in front of her. Blond hair, green eyes, and horns protruding from his head, and Kagome could see along slick tail flickering behind him.

Before she could move she saw his eyes slip as a sharp tooth smiled greeted her, as hands pinned her down onto the bed. He straddled her, a deep rumble leaving his chest as he bent down to take a long breath in, taking in her scent.

"You smell...delicious." He gave another grown, as he opened his mouth, letting his tongue out and licking her throat with a low moan. His tail trailed up her body as he pressed his body closer to hers. Kagome took a deep breath as she felt something press into her body, and she didn't need to be told twice what it was.

Just as she felt him about to bite down on her neck someone yelled out.

"Satan! Enough!" Then the body was pulled off her, leaving a flustered and stunned kagome on the bed trying to figure what the fuck happened.
