Nodoka's Mother's Day Gift

A/N: This idea came to me from nowhere but instead of being a normal fic each chapter is the same basic story with a slight difference as noted by the chapter title

Since his mother had come back into his life, he had been worrying about a day that was rapidly approaching and that day was Mother's Day. There were a couple of reasons for this

Nabiki had either found all his money so he now couldn't buy her something

Every time he had tried to make her something, one of the fiancées would appear and assume it was for her and this led to Akane sending him flying

So with no other options left, he went to the only (reliable and trustworthy person in the city he knew (aside from who had left) Kasumi. After talking to her for a while, they came up with a two-part plan. Kasumi would arrange everything the day before Mother's Day and Ranma would do his part on Mother's Day

MOTHER'S DAY

Ranma got up before his father and tossed him out the window into the koi pond. Then using the Umisenken he went to Kasumi's room. Making sure that no one was in the hall he entered her room and saw the stuff she had left for him

"I trust Kasumi, I asked her to help me, you are doing this for your Mother"

Ranma said out loud then switched to thinking it over and over in a mantra as he splashed himself with cold water becoming Ranko. She then gave herself a quick wash with waterproof soap before getting dressed once she was she started to headed downstairs when she heard Kasumi yell

"BREAKFAST"

As Ranma left Kasumi's room she started to prepare herself for what she was about to do. Hoping her mother wouldn't make her commit seppuku, she headed downstairs and then entered the dining room

Everyone who was at the table turned to see her wearing a black short sleeve bolero shrug, a red rockabilly cap-sleeve dress and black tights. She also had her hair slightly curled, slight makeup and perfume curiosity of Kasumi teaching her

She took a deep breath hoping her mother would appreciate what she was doing, (and not demand seppuku) as she entered the living room, sounding meek and nervous, she said

"Hi everyone"

"BOY WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING, GO TAKE THAT OFF NOW"

"NO"

"BOY YOU WILL…"

"Old man, would you please shut the hell up. Today is Mother's Day and because of Akane, the other fiancée and Nabiki. I couldn't make a gift or buy a gift without them thinking it was for them or getting it destroyed, so Kasumi suggested this"

"Why not just tell Akane the truth, Son? Wouldn't that solve things?"

"Are you kidding ? I could be filled with truth serum attached to a lie detector and she still wouldn't believe me. She believes everyone other than me, like when I took a risk and honestly told her "I Love You" but then you two pop up and say "Way to trick her, Boy" so she throws it back in my face breaking my heart, but we're getting off-topic".

Akane and the father's looked shocked while Nodoka and her sisters looked upset/disappointed

"As I was saying because of this I now had no money left and couldn't think of what to do for her until Kasumi suggested that I give you a mother-daughter day." Ranma looked at her mother "If you can accept that I am also your daug...your tomboy possibly lesbian daughter"

"Of course, honey," Nodoka said as she grabbed her

"Possibly lesbian, Saotome?" Nabiki asked, Ranma looked over at her

"Do you remember the koi rod of love?" Everyone but Nodoka nodded "I found out that it has an interesting side effect for those with either Nannichaun or Nyannichuan curses. As in once, they are cured while no longer in love with the person who used it on them, they are still attracted to the opposite sex of their curse form -sigh- permanently." Everyone was shocked by this revelation

"Now while I don't think I'll ever fall for a guy I am open to the idea", she then grabbed her father "BUT if I find that I have one or more FIANCÉS including KUNO, I WILL KILL YOU...Do you understand Mr. Future PANDA RUG?" Genma nodded

Kasumi took Ranma and Nodoka aside after a few minutes only Kasumi came back and said "they'll be back tomorrow night". Kasumi had given Ranma some money and train tickets as well as a note to her friend. The first thing they did was go out for brunch at a buffet restaurant that was a few blocks away from the train station

"I still don't understand, how we are supposed to go without luggage"

"We have our luggage, Mom. It's in my subspace pocket" she then pulled two bags out of nowhere before putting them back

"Oh"

During brunch, Ranma asked stuff about her mother, a short while later they were heading to the train station when they heard

"Hold it, you red hair harlot"

"What do you want Kodachi?"

"The same thing I always want, my darling Ranma-same. Where are you hiding him?"

"For the love of…you are just as brain dead as your brother, I have told you and show you several times. I and your Ranma-sama are the same person. There is no pig-tail goddess, there is no red-haired harlot, there's just me"

"Nice try we have seen the two of you together"

"That was an impersonator"

"Yeah, right since you won't tell the truth, die" she snapped her ribbon at Ranma, where it was caught by Shampoo

"Stupid flipie girl, leave Airen and Airen's mother alone" she turned to Ranma "leave to Shampoo"

Ranma nodded picked up her mother and ran, as Shampoo and Kodachi fought. She yelled back "Thanks Shampoo"

They managed to get on the train without further interpretations or attacks and headed to another city where one of Kasumi's friends works at a hotel spa

and they arranged for a room for the night. After checking in Ranma had a quick bath to strengthen the waterproof soap then they went to the spa.

Nodoka got a Swedish massage while Ranma got a therapeutic massage

While Nodoka got a facial Ranma went to the Hydrotherapy pool

and they got a medi/pedi although Ranma got clear polish after a little prodding

They spent the rest of the day in their room talking about the training trip, the fiancees, what he/she wants to do etc. They ordered in, watched some tv and eventually slept. The next morning they headed home but before they left Ranma said

"I hope you enjoyed your day with your daughter and HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY, MOM"
