Nodoka's Mother's Day gift v3

Since his mother had come back into his life he had been worrying about a day that was rapidly approaching and that day is Mother's Day. There were a couple of reasons for this

Nabiki had taken all his money so he couldn't buy her something

Each time he started to make her something a fiancée would assume it was for her or Akane would accuse him and mallet him

So he went to the only (reliable and trustworthy person in the city he could since left...Kasumi. After talking to her they came up with a plan, which Kasumi would arrange for Ranma

MOTHER'S DAY

Ranma got up tossed his father out the window into the koi pond, then entered the Umisenken and went to Kasumi's room. Making sure that no one was in the hall he entered her room and saw the stuff she had left for him

"I trust Kasumi, I asked her to help me, your doing this for your Mother"

Ranma said out loud then switched to thinking it over and over in a mantra as he

ate the age-altering mushroom and became a five-year-old again. He then washed with waterproof soap locking him as a young girl, she then got dressed in

a white floral dress with a pink ribbon and lace trim she then used the dragon's whisker to give a braid on the left side of her face, once she was done she headed downstairs when she heard Kasumi yell

"BREAKFAST"

Ranma walked down the hallway, downstairs and stop she took a deep breath then ran into the dining room and leaped toward her Mother

"Mommy"

"snort…Mommy. Aww that's a cute widdle dwess wanma " Ranma pull back and glared at Nabiki before running out of the room

"Uh oh, your about to regret that Naby," Kasumi said knowingly as Ranma had warned her

"Naby? You haven't called me that sin…gulp" The reaction was instantly Nabiki shrunk into her clothes,

"Since you fink it funny I am doing this for mommy. You can be widdle until I change back"

Nabiki was a bit upset as Kasumi sighed and took her out of the room, when she returned she had hair extensions and it was done up in a ponytail and she was wearing a pink and white floral dress with a pink bow as well as white tights as soon as she entered the room she ran up to Ranma and hugged him

"Sowwy Oneechan, sowwy mommy"

"It's ok imouto, but no more fighting today. We be good for her it Mommy's day" he turned to his Mother "can we go, Mommy?" Nodoka nodded and they left

"Why are they acting like that? Ranma didn't act like this the last time" Akane asked

"True but these ones we used I had sent from the mushroom temple, apparently they didn't have any small mushrooms of the normal age altering mushrooms but had ones from their crossbreed version"

"Crossbred"

"Yes they are a mix of the temporal and hypnotic mushrooms so it causes both body and mind to regress so technically they are kids again. However, I don't know why they're acting like sisters maybe deep down they truly feel that way about each other." She turned to Happosai "Grandfather, I am telling you now if the mushrooms I have go missing, I will burn your precious collection"

"But what if I didn't do it?"

"Then you better help get them back because if you don't you probably won't see Ranma-chan ever again" he nodded

Nodoka and two kids left the Tendo house and the first thing they did was go out for brunch at the Royal Fork* buffet restaurant before they left Nodoka asked what they wanted to do next and after a round of Rock-Paper-Scissors, they went to see Ghostbusters Afterlife

As they were walking/ window shopping, Nabiki suggested going to a Tea ceremony and after agreeing Ranma pulled a bag from her subspace pocket. "Kasumi-neechan thought we might need these" Nodoka looked inside and saw matching kimonos. So they stopped at a bathroom and got changed and went to the House of Daimonj

Their host for the ceremony ritually cleanses each utensil in the presence of the guests in a precise order and using prescribed motions, and places them in an exact arrangement according to the particular temae procedure being performed.

When the preparation of the utensils is complete, the host prepares the tea then they and the host exchange bows and then raised their bowl in a gesture of respect to the host.

Nodoka rotates the bowl to avoid drinking from its front, takes a sip, then complimented the host on the tea. After taking a few sips, she wiped clean the rim of the bowl and passes it to Nabiki who imitated her. Then Nabiki passed it to Ranma who Nodoka noticed hadn't watched yet performed it perfectly then returned it to their host who then cleanses the equipment and leaves the tea room.

The host then rekindled the fire and adds more charcoal, then brought in tabako-bon and more confections, after all the guests had taken tea, the host cleans the utensils in preparation for putting them away and then they left the tea house.

After changing back into their dresses, they then went home, where Nodoka led them into the kitchen and put aprons on them and taught them how to make a recipe that had been passed down from daughter to daughter although she stretched it a bit by teaching Ranma and Nabiki

After supper the waterproof soap hadn't worn off so Kasumi gave her one of her old nightgowns then she placed her into bed with Nabiki, Nodoka came in and tucked them in

"How you had a HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY, Mom"

"I did, thank you two very much" she kissed them and said good night before leaving the room

"Ranma"

"Yeah Nabiki"

"Goodnight sis"

"Goodnight to you as well sis"
