On his journey back to Midgar, Zack carries a catatonic Cloud for miles and miles on a journey with no real destination. He keeps his friend always close by, but his only real company are his own thoughts, and some strange feelings that he hadn't felt in many years. The farther they travel, the more his feelings grow, Zack begins to wonder just what Cloud means to him.

The story takes place right before Barret asks Cloud to help with the Reactor 5 Bombing, but due to Avalanche getting involved the night before, there are questions to be answered. Cloud accepts a job to accompany Biggs and Wedge for a rendezvous with the HQ.

Cloud gives up and can't find the will to go on. Rated M for themes of depression. Meant to be kinda darkly funny.

Following the cure for Geostigma, Cloud returns to Seventh Heaven. Their broken family is under one roof again, but Cloud and Tifa still need to make amends. Mostly family fluff with some gentle angst because I just really want to see these two happy. [Smut warning]
