Bruno had waved away the men as they left, He looked up to see the storm blowing in fully making the afternoon sun go dark right before a heavy rain poured making Casita open some outer doors to let the water run out from the courtyard in case it gathers.

Bruno looked out towards the Encanto and saw the Southern City that had a patch of empty skies letting the sun and a rainbow shine telling him that this family was still there.

He hummed in recognition thinking that the road may be too bad for them to return tonight.

"Better check on Mirabel then." He said turning around and heading back inside.

Mirabel had been awakened by a more painful twinge.

"Ooh." She cried sleepily waking up but then a more painful twinge hit her.

"OW." She cried out making her face squeeze in pain.

"Ok time to go to the bathroom." The 20-year-old said, she held her painful belly and leaned against things to help her walk.

Mirabel held onto the banister as she walked the hallway heading towards the bathroom but stopped as she felt another twinge.

"Oh, OH, OoooH." She groaned as she had to stop.

"Mirabel?" She heard making her turn to face the concerned face of her Tio Bruno.

"Are you ok? What's wrong?" He asked coming up to her and rubbing her back to look at her as she was leaning forward clutching her belly and gasping in breath, instantly his mind saw the same posture he had seen other women have many times over the past 26 years.

"Mirabel?" He asked with growing concern taking her hand from the banister and holding it to feel her pulse.

"I'm ok, it's just the monthly cramps," Mirabel said as she was huffing breaths quickly.

"Actually Mirabel, I think..." Bruno tried before she squeezed his hand in pain.

"OH, OH, OOooHh." She groaned instantly making Bruno wrap an arm around her waist ready to catch her if she fell.

"I just need to get to the bathroom." She said taking a step but before Bruno could say anything they heard a rush of water over the rain.

"Oh no." She cried as a puddle of water gathered at her bare feet. This confirmed Bruno's thoughts and he knew what to do.

"I didn't make it." She said starting to cry.

"I am so sorry about this Mira," Bruno said making her look at him before he dipped and brushed her up into his arms.

"Whoa, Bruno wait. I need the bathroom to clean up." She cried out as he quickly carried her back to the nursery.

"Oh, Ow," Mira said as she felt another twinge that was getting worse. Bruno huffed his breath as he worked starting by sitting her down on her bed.

"Bruno? what are you doing?" Mirabel asked as he sat next to her on the bed and looked up at her with forgiving eyes.

"I'm sorry about this, but I am about to get really personal with you." He said taking her shoulders and pushing her to lay back with gentle force but enough that she couldn't fight.

"What do you mean?" She asked crying as he reached towards her belly and with swift motions, he pushed her shirt up to reveal her larger belly. Mira gasped grabbing her shirt to cover herself as he gently pressed his hands along her belly but then she felt something move. Instantly she stilled and watched her Tio concentrate.

"No," She said feeling the inner movement as her Tio focused on her belly feeling around, he sighed and looked at her begging for forgiveness.

"No, Please no. Oh, Heavens NO." Mirabel chanted as hot tears rolled down her face as she came to the realization of what was happening holding her hands to her face in shame. Bruno pulled her up and wrapped her in a hug letting her lean on his shoulder for comfort as she cried.
