It was the next day when villagers were flooding Casita they had five days to plan a Madrigal wedding and so much to do. Mirabel sat on a couch with Mateo and Abuela while laughing as many villagers were taking their turn asking the important questions. Mirabel took a sip of a fizzy drink as she contemplated the many fabrics before her.

"That cream chiffon is lovely," Abuela said.

"I actually like the eggshell butterfly and floral lace," Mirabel said letting the villager that held up that fabric came up to show it fully.

"Oh yes, it's perfect." Abuela agreed while holding Mateo as she sipped the fizzy drink too.

"Match it that pastel green satin, pink mother of pearl butterfly-shaped buttons, and the pale pink shoes," Mirabel said seeing all of them together and having the design in her head.

"Ok, what style?" Abuela said waving her arm towards the different pages of dress designs.

"It's ok I want to make it myself," Mirabel said as everything was gathered in a basket and set on the side with the rest of the stuff which had ingredients for the food, other fabrics for the banners and curtains, Moroccan lanterns, bottles of fizzy drinks, and scrolls of design ideas.

"Next is Isabella with the flower arrangements," Abuela said as Isabela came up with a smile.

"Actually I would like a moment," Bruno said making them all look at him, he had most of his hair tied back, a brown shirt, his green poncho, long sandy brown pants, black sandals, and a sad smile.

"Oh good, you're here. We need you to choose the fabric and style for your suit." Abuela said as she had handed Mateo to Mirabel then pointing towards the men of the family all gushing over the different colors and styles with the tailor and all looking at him excitedly.

"I'm gonna leave that to Mirabel." He said shaking his head and looking at her wanting to say something but he was interrupted by Abuela.

"Brunito, you shouldn't leave everything to Mirabel." Abuela lightly scolded as she picked up a roll of forest green cotton fabric. Bruno walked up to Mirabel and she watched as he kissed her head but then his apologetic eyes made her realize that something was up.

"Give us a minute?" Mirabel said as she handed Mateo to Isabella who had flowers bloom around her in happiness at holding her nephew. Mirabel grabbed his hand and they went upstairs ut they were followed by Abuela and Isabela.

They stopped in front of the nursery and Bruno turned to face Mirabel holding her hands but then saw Abuela and Isabela watching.

"Can you give us a minute?" Bruno asked politely looking at them as they were both watched them with concerned expressions.

"No," They said at the same time. Bruno sighed before rolling his eyes and he looked back at Mirabel who turned from their chaperones to him.

"Look I know this is bad timing." he started.

"Why is something wrong?" Mirabel said as isabela and Abuela came closer.

"I have to go away for a few days," Bruno said looking at his nearly forced bride. Mirabel grew concerned but Isa and Abuela beat her to it.

"What?" Isa asked letting her vines grow around him with thorns as her voice caught the attention of an audience.

"What do you mean you're leaving?" Abuela said making everyone down below gasp and whisper.

"Please," Bruno said holding up his hands in defense.

"You have a wedding in five days what could be so important to make you leave?" Abuela asked growing furious.

"My room is," Bruno said making them look confused and shaking their heads.

"What do you mean?" Mirabel asked calmly being the only open-minded one.

"I have a lot of work to do in my room. Considering it isn't exactly honeymoon ready." Bruno said with a smile and a wave of his hands with a blush making Mirabel blush and then laugh. She came up to hug him as Abuela and Isabella still weren't sure.

"Are you sure it is going to take days?" Abuela said coming closer as the rest of the audience felt lighter.

"I'm not sure. I just know that I have thoughts, ideas, and plans." He explained holding Mirabel around her waist.

"What kind of thoughts, ideas, and plans?" Isabela asked. Bruno brushed his arm and lightly blushed while humming.

"Well. uh... Thoughts about how I need to look for my wedding, ideas about how I want my room to be livable for both of us." he explained before turning to Mirabel with a sensual look in his eyes.

"Plus I'm finally gonna have a wife, so I have a lot of plans for her," Bruno said gazing at Mirabel with shining eyes making her blush and cover her face with her hands. Bruno chuckled at her shyness and brought her to his chest. Abuela and Isabela smiled feeling their frustration go away.

"I promise I will be as quick as I can and be back in time," he said running his fingers lightly through her hair.

"I have faith in you." She cooed at him, he smiled at her before he pressed a kiss to her forehead. They watched as he walked towards his room he picked up a satchel that was filled nearly to the brim most likely with food. He nodded his head towards her before he climbed the stairs and entered his room and the door shut behind him leaving the family to wonder what changes he was going to make and none more curious than Mirabel.

It had been 3 days after Bruno went into his room and hadn't come back out yet when the changes became apparent.

Mirabel was at her machine sewing the dark green formal vest when the shaking started. Then Casita scuttled the floor making her stand she carefully but quickly grabbed Mateo and ran out of the nursery.

"What's going on?" Mirabel shouted seeing her family all in the courtyard working on party gifts and hanging banners as the shaking got worse before magic started sparkling. Mirabel was about to descend the stairs to join them when a loud creaking began and she turned behind her to face the intense creaking jus tin time for the walkway to Bruno's door shifted, the tall stairwell bubbled as the door appeared right on level with the hall and the small walkway to it grew a pale Spring yellow with wrought iron sconces on the wall giving a light glow to the short hallway.

Bruno's door also shifted as the harsh frown that was on Bruno's face changed into one with a smile and his hands changed position from raised up to holding out to the sides, in his left hand was an hourglass then in his right hand was swirls of sand flowing from it then glittered around his picture. Mirabel felt a swell of pride as she instantly knew what the change meant but her focus was caught as more magic swirled around his tower she stood back as the tower grew taller as a smaller tower was matched along its side with a shorter roof.

The bigger tower was a charming leafy green with the clay roof tiles and the smaller tower was a deep magenta with at least 3 terraces also grew one on the magenta tower, one near the top, and one just along the bottom of the green tower and slowly vines grew all along them decorating them with flowers and leaves.

Then the walkway to Bruno's door changed again pulling back from the main house but extending the left wall making a new sitting area, the terrace that was on the bottom of the tower attached to the current terrace making small steps up to another seating area on the new terrace that showed an entrance towards a 2nd-floor walkway of a new courtyard.

Then the magic stopped and Mirabel happily walked towards the new part of the house she looked around the new seating area seeing 2 new couches an armchair, another record player, a bookshelf, and the 2 new empty walls that were blank ready for new family photos. She stepped up on the new terrace and saw the second seating area overlooked the river with another bookshelf, an armchair, a loveseat, a small table with a plant, and a small stage. Then walking under the archway lined with sconces she entered into the new courtyard.

"Oh my goodness," Mirabel said while lightly crying. On her left was the magenta wall having one unused door with an M on the doorknob and she knew that door belonged to Mateo then right next to that door was Bruno's new door being a part of the green tower but then right next to Bruno's door was a regular door that hung open, she walked over to it and inside was a large brand new nursery with pale yellow, sky blue, and soft pink walls with butterflies numbers, and the alphabet on the walls and glowing stars on the ceiling while a small moon-shaped chandelier hung from the center of the ceiling slowly spinning with hanging stars orbiting around it too. There were a total of 5 cradles all green colored along the right wall, and 5 regular beds along the left wall each had cream-colored sheets and green blankets.

She looked out the tall window to see behind Casita and the wildlife on the mountains, with a smile she ventured back out into the courtyard and looked up at the tower.

The tower itself was actually a tall courtyard with 4 floors high each with rows of new doors and counting them there was a total of 20 new doors, the banisters were indigo and each floor was decorated with small tables, plants, and empty walls for portraits than in the center of the courtyard was a deep staircase starting from the ground floor and spun around the center making a landing on each floor. The family all went through the matching hallway on the ground floor that lead to the tower and Casita rumbled around the new courtyard getting a feel for her new additions. Mirabel came down the stairs as Isabela grew long vines and flowers along the banisters.

Down on the ground floor, there was another sitting area, a cluster of hammocks next to a large door that lead out to a patio with a dining table to look at the river, there was also a new kitchen that had attached to the other kitchen and made it one big kitchen with double the stoves, double the ovens, double the sinks and double the counter space and then the dining room was also extended.

The most interesting part was the family mural had changed, Bruno's picture had moved to the other side of Julietta and Mirabel's picture had moved up so that a heart-shaped branch connected between the 2 pictures, and then below them was a small space with a baby wrapped in a green blanket was smiling and it had 2 branches connected to it one went to Mirabel while the other went to a small space that had a red heart in it ut it had an open crack down the center showing it as a broken heart.

The family toured the new addition until sunset but Bruno never came out of his tower
