There comes a time in a person's life where the world seems to be against them. Kicked down, unable to get back up. But once you make the best of a situation, well it seems that the impossible becomes possible and you can achieve the unachievable.

For months Zoe Has been a part of Haven City after falling from a rift in time into a strange land, unknowing that she was in a future her and her friends had caused. Getting separated from her best friends Jak and Daxter she was tortured by the Corrupt and Evil Leader Baron Praxis until her escape. She joined the underground movement, worked up the ranks and upon Jak's return things began to ramp up. But Her friend had changed too. Once the mute sweet boy, jak had became rough and hard mouthed. She didn't mind at first, she was just glad she wasn't alone anymore. Daxter, however, hadn't changed much though. After a few weeks, her and Jak uncovered the plot of the baron and put a stop to it, returning the timeline to it's proper flow by sending the young Samos and Jak to the past. But their problems weren't over, as a new threat arose to mess up their seemingly normal life.

Jak

"Are you sure she's going to be okay?" Jak asked Ashelin after a report from Zoe ended, She being sent on a mission from Count Veger. A mission he wanted to be a part of. He hated to be separated from her. She always ended up hurt or in trouble.

"It's Zoe, Jak. She can handle herself." Ashelin spoke, eyeing the tracker. Zoe was sent to handle a metal head nest a few miles outside the city. The Wasteland to be specific, Where rarely people returned.

"You say that but everytime-" But he was cut off by ashelin's fiery gaze. He knew she was having a rough time especially with the council and Count veger, but this was Zoe. One of his closest friends. He admitted to himself that she was important to him, ever since they first met on that beach.

"Jak, I promise she'll come back. Then you guys can take that Vacation to Kras City like you promised her." She said, patting his shoulder. He sighed. It would be nice to get away and watch death races with Zoe, Cars and Zoomers being one of her favorite things. Add guns to the mix, well she would be in good enough mood that maybe- No. He thought dejectly. They were Friends. He didn't want to spoil that and with the tension between them after their argument with the Mission, which Jak wanted to go with her but she wanting to go out and prove herself (which she didn't need to). Zoe was strong, capable in a fight but ever since she was injected with more Dark Eco she had became reckless, desperate to go Solo and be able to take on more than she can handle. He sighs again, turning to leave. Unknowing that this was last time he'd speak to Zoe in months.

The Ship sailed over the Desert, thr same one Zoe ventured out on months prior to never return. Both Torn and Ashelin declared her MIA but Count Veger declared her dead. Soon the shipped stopped, Hovering over the sand. The ramp dropped, Two Guards in blue escorting Jak out who was in handcuffs. Count Veger and Ashelin behind them.

"By Order of the Grand Council Of Haven City, For Heinous Acts and Crimes Against The people you are Hereby banished to the wasteland for life." He said, closing the book as he turns. Jak struggled with the cuffs, thinking that this was unfair. He did nothing wrong, but he figured Veger and the council needed a scapegoat. And he was it.

"This Is a death sentence Veger. There must be another way." Ashelin spoke up.

"Your Protest was Overruled. This Dark Eco Freak Is dangerous! Now drop the Cargo!" He ordered.

"Zoe was just as involved with the dark eco project as Jak was." She pointed out.

"Yes, Maybe it was best for the Wasteland to swallow her up as well." He spat.

"This is an outrage! I am outraged beyond words though i do have something to say. Not Everyone agrees with this Ridiculous degree!" pecker squaks as Daxter jumps in.

"Yeah! We want a recount!" daxter Added.

"Ah I see you wish to join him." Veger says.

"Actually we are not that outraged. Farewell Jak, Stay out of the sun, drink lots of water if you can find it." Pecker says, sinking back into the ship as the guards walk back inside.

"Jak?" Daxter says, worried.

"Go back to the city Dax. I'll find Zoe, I promise." Jak reassured his friend.

"I'm Sorry the council is too Powerful. There was nothing-" ashelin started as she uncuffed him.

"I Know." Jak said dejectly as She hands him something.

"You just stay alive, you hear me? That's an order. Someone will find you i promise." She says as she walks away, the ship starting up.

"May the Precursors have mercy on you." Veger says as the ship begins the fly away, sand bilowing up and creating a cloud. Once the ship left, Jak could hear coughing.

"Daxter!" Jak exclaims.

"Don't Thank me, i'm only here because you wouldn't last a second without me." He retorts, "Okay tough guy you got us into this mess now you gotta get us out"

"Ah, What a team we'll make. You, Me, Daxter. And perhaps Zoe if she is still alive." Pecker says.

"She is alive. I just know it. But Let's get moving. But which way?" Jak asks, looking around.

"That way!" Pecker and Daxter said at the same time, pointing in opposite directions.

"Oh and i suppose you know where you're going, eh?" Pecker asked daxter.

"Better than you do bent beak." Daxter said.

"Let's just move." Jak sighed, walking off.

The desert didn't take long to exhaust the team, Daxter and pecker arguing and Jak ignoring him. Jak was looking for tracks, anything that could point him to Zoe. He promised to find her, he needed to find her. But the heat was too much, and he collapsed in the sand alongside the others. unknowing that help would be there soon.

"Z-zoe." He said before becoming unconscious.
