Hey everyone, Musikman50 with something new. I've had this idea for a bit and decided to make a story out of it. I always wondered what Spidey would be like if he had godlike powers for a long period of time. Either way, I just wanted to post this story up to see how you all will like it.

In addition, I apologize to everyone for not updating like I said I would. I won't sugarcoat and say that it's easy but I did make a promise to post but I do feel like I'll burn myself out like I did writing Vampi, Spidey, and Sonja. To mitigate this, I will be sticking to a schedule and post a story every two weeks on Friday. This time I will be updating my stories. I appreciate everyone who enjoys my stories and to all I say thank you. Now then, on to the story.

Chapter 1

It is wrong for a powerful cosmic being to run away from someone but to one being in particular that where he finds himself doing just that. His name is the Beyonder a powerful omniscient being that at one point created a world where your dreams can become a reality.

He could do anything he pleased if he wanted.

And that is why he was being attacked by Thanos the Mad Titan.

The Eternal had devised a plan to attack the Beyonder with multiple forces from his army in order to take his power and make it his own.

"I should have known better than to let Thanos of all people get the drop me! I have to hurry or else he will try to gain my power!" Beyonder said to himself in a panic.

Earlier Beyonder was enjoying himself when he was called out by Thanos. He left his pocket dimension and confronted Thanos thinking that fighting the Mad Titan would be easy for him.

That would come back to bite him in the ass he was bombarded by powerful weapons that weakened him. He managed to escape from the ambush and rushed to the far side of the universe.

Beyonder continued to fly across the universe as fast as he could in his weakened state when he realized that his body was breaking down.

"Oh no", Beyonder said. "If this keeps up, I explode and my power will no doubt be found and taken by Thanos. I must hurry and get to Earth!"

Just like that, Beyonder used his power to teleport to Earth.

Earth

The Beyonder appeared in the skies above New York with a sorrowful smile on his face. Earth the planet of the humans that he grew fond of and the various superhumans he has encountered.

"It's funny, I tried to make a living here and find my purpose in life but decided it was better to leave. I can't believe I will miss this place", Beyonder said to himself.

Using his omniscient powers he scoped out the planet to sense who was worthy to wield his powers. To his surprise, a lot has changed on Earth with the heroes.

Franklin Richards of the Fantastic Four encountered his future self and fought against Celestials with Galactus, Spider-Man saved the Earth from the Sinister Six as they attempted to burn the world down, and the Avengers had a war with X-Men over a girl named Hope Summers and was resolved after the death of Charles Xavier.

"Heroes fighting heroes. I believe they had video game about that with heroes from another world", Beyonder joked before getting serious. "I have to hurry. My time is almost up".

Beyonder looked the pantheon of heroes in universe and began to think who would be best to have his power after he is gone.

Captain America. Cool guy but he already has enough on his plate.

Thor. There is no telling what damage he would do.

Captain Marvel. Huh she's not Ms. Marvel anymore? Interesting... but no. Sorry.

Iron Man. He would destroy Thanos, the Earth, this universe, and damage the multiverse. Hell no.

Wolverine. Too aggressive.

Scarlet Witch. She already has reality warping powers. No thanks.

Emma Frost. Nope.

Magneto. No way.

Hope Summers. She already had her moment. Next?

Havok. Sorry.

Black Panther. I wish I could help after what Namor did to Wakanda but...

Namor. No way too arrogant and he'd try to steal Reed's wife.

Mister Fantastic. He's no good.

Human Torch. If he grows more brain cells, I'll think about it.

Doctor Doom. Ha ha ha ha! You think I would give my powers to that asshole?!

Beyonder groaned. He couldn't think of anyone and it was frustrating him.

"Is there any hero I know who I can give my powers to and can be responsible with-" Beyonder stopped as he said the magic words. He remembered the one person that was the most responsible out of all the heroes of Earth.

Peter Parker aka the Amazing Spider-Man.

Peter was his only hope and needed to get to him. "I have to get him now", Beyonder said as he made his way towards Peter's location.

Peter's Apartment

Peter Parker was in bed sleeping after a night of patrolling New York. He was content with just staying in bed as he remembered the last few days.

Unfortunately, he and Mary Jane won't be getting back together as she made it very clear she wants nothing to do with Spider-Man. To add to the pain, his ex Felicia Hardy the Black cat tried to make him jealous by kissing Daredevil.

He was content with making sure that he didn't get out of bed but he knew he had to get up. He mentally resolved to keep moving forward and not look back as he will make a way for himself.

Peter managed to get himself and mentally prepared for the world just as a small golden robot was making it's way towards him. It was close enough to and attempted to attach to him when...

CRASH!

This shook Peter who instantly jumped off his bed and landed on his feet while the golden bot fell to the ground beneath his bed. "Oh God, please tell me this isn't a villain here to kill me", Peter said to himself before he dashed out of the room.

Peter ran as fast as he could to see the Beyonder collapsed on the ground. The Beyonder looked at Peter with a small smile. "It's good to see you again Spider-Man", Beyonder said weakly.

"Beyonder!" Peter said shocked by what happened to him and ran to help him. "What happened to you?!"

"I don't want to alarm you but I think I'm dying", Beyonder said.

"Well I'm really alarmed now! I have to help you somehow", Peter said as he tried to help him and saw that his body was breaking down.

"If you want to help me hold out your hand", Beyonder said to him. Peter held out his hand and Beyonder grabbed it before he began to transfer his power to Peter.

Peter's Spider Sense went off and he felt power go into him. "What are you doing?!" Peter asked in shock.

"I am giving you my power Peter. Thanos will be after you to take that power from you but I know you will stop him", Beyonder said before a flash of light blinded Peter.

Peter opened his eyes to see that Beyonder was gone.

Peter stood back up on his feet too shocked to say anything. It was then that he heard Beyonder's last words.

"I apologize for putting you in my situation Peter but I know you will do great things", Beyonder's last words were heard by Peter as he felt the power coursing through Peter's veins.

"Great I have no idea what to do at all. I wish I could consult someone. Hopefully the F4 are still ho-" Peter was cut off as he suddenly teleported.

Baxter Building

The Fantastic Four were enjoying their morning when they saw that Spider-Man was in their living appearing in front of the group.

"Peter? How did you get here?" Sue asked as she and the others were stunned by his appearance.

"Guys, I need help", was all Peter could say.

Next time... gets advice from the Fantastic Four and visits a dying enemy.
