CRUDEN: What's makes think that Peter wouldn't follow the Naruto series? Honestly in a lot of ways Spider-Man and Naruto are similar.

Fox Boss: True but Peter's used to that and I'm pretty sure he can focus his Spider- Sense on something specific.

Chapter 4

In front of the Mayor's Office, a crowd of people gathered with Mayor Jameson walking out to speak. Jameson stood in front of the podium and spoke into the mic.

"Ladies and Gentlemen, I understand your concerns about the recent attack on New York just a few hours ago. I have the answers that you all want to hear. According to Captain America, the tyrant named Thanos attacked looking for a powerful being. The purpose was to steal said power and destroy all of Earth's inhabitants. Fortunately, that same power was used to stop Thanos' attack and send him somewhere else".

The crowd was pleased to hear that Thanos was dealt with but were still quite shaken. Soon enough, one reporter spoke up. "Mayor Jameson, what about the powerful being this Thanos was looking for?"

"Unfortunately, the powerful being aptly named the Beyonder was critically injured from a surprise attack from Thanos and succumb to his wounds. I was told that he managed to pass his powers onto another person", Jameson said.

"Do you know who this person is?" Another reporter asked.

"Captain America refuses to reveal who it is but states that this person is someone trustworthy to the Avengers. Never the less, the Avengers have stated that they intend to look after their empowered ally and make sure they do what is right", Jameson said.

"Can we really trust the heroes after the recent fights they've been having with each other?" the last reporter asked.

"I'll be honest, my faith in their words are limited as well. However, I am going to accept that someone was able to stop this invasion and this Thanos without anyone dying at all, regardless if it doesn't makes sense to me", Jameson said. "However, I have told Captain America that I will be keeping eye out for whoever it is and make sure he or she doesn't screw up".

Avengers Tower

Peter stood before the gathered members of the Avengers and X-Men. The Fantastic Four weren't present as they said this was something Peter needed to tell everyone else. Peter opened his mouth and began to speak.

"Alright, I will tell you all what's going on and everything that happened. Before all of that..." Peter turned his attention to Blue Marvel and extended his hand towards him. "Dr. Brashear, it's an honor to meet you. I've read all of your paper work on Electrical Engineering and Theoretical Physics, although in this case I guess it's just Physics".

Adam was taken aback by this but smiled a bit and shook hands with Peter. "Uh... thanks. The honor is all mine", Adam said.

"Okay Webs, that's enough geeking out", Tony said. "Tell us, what happened to you?"

Peter proceeded to tell everyone what happened and how he gained the powers of the Beyonder. Everyone was shocked to hear this but they were even more surprised that the Beyonder died. Someone so Godlike and powerful as the Beyonder seemed so unkillable and yet Thanos without trying managed to do the impossible.

"And that's basically it", Peter said. "I was going to tell you all sooner but then Thanos' army attacked".

"Speaking of which, what did you do to Thanos and his army?" Steve asked.

"I decided to put them on a different planet light years away, on the edge of the universe, with no technology, and surrounded by four Black Holes so they can't do any more damage", Peter said.

Tony was drinking water while listening and spat out his water after listening to what Peter said. He ended up in a coughing fit. "Surrounded... *cough* by Four... *cough* Black Holes*cough*?" Tony asked in shock. He wasn't the only one shocked as most of the X-Men and Avengers looked at Peter with wide eyes.

"Unbelievable", Hope said.

"I understand if it's extreme but no one is dead and they won't do anything else while they are stuck there", Peter said. "I understand that some of you have... mixed feelings about this".

"Pretty much"
"Understatement of the year"
"Absolutely"
"Ya think?"
"Yes we are!"
"Exactly!"

"I get it but I was chosen by Beyonder to receive his power. Because of that, it's my responsibility to use this power the right way", Peter said with a confident look on his masked face.

"Why should we trust you with that power at all?" Namor asked with skepticism.

"Namor", Steve said with a sigh.

"Seriously, we are letting this idiot walk around with the powers of a god when he clearly isn't worthy of them. That power should be with someone who can actually use them correctly", Namor said.

"Yeah, like attacking innocent people for no reason, right Namor?" Peter said calmly.

"What was that?" Namor asked with a glare at Peter.

Peter approached the Atlantean king before stopping one foot in front of him. "After what you did in Wakanda, you are the last person to talk about who's responsible with the power given to them. To be honest, I would like nothing more than to knock you the hell out but that's for T'Challa to do. After all, you owe him", Peter said sternly.

Namor continued to glare at Peter before Peter turned around and walked back to the center of the room.

"Spider-Man, I trust you have control over this power and you are responsible with it. However, some might not see it that way and will consider you a threat", Steve said.

"More than he is", Namor mumbled to himself. Peter heard him thanks to his enhanced hearing but decided against doing anything to him.

"So what do you suggest?" Peter asked.

"Well it's probably for the best if someone watched over you", Steve said.

"I know the perfect person to do so", Magneto spoke out.

"What are you up Erik?" Logan asked.

"I don't trust the Spider-Man with cosmic powers given my experience with him the last time he did", Magneto said.

"Well to be fair, you attacked me first. Regardless, who would you suggest watch over me?" Peter asked.

"My answer is right here", Magneto said as he pointed to Emma Frost.

"Are you serious Erik?" Emma asked with a stern look.

"Besides, with her abilities, she can place mental barriers to prevent mind control", Magneto said.

"Or she'll try to control him herself", Natasha said.

"True what makes us so sure that she won't more harm than good?" T'Challa asked.

"If it's alright, I would like to talk with Emma in private myself", Peter said.

Emma looked slightly surprised by this nodded. "Sure". Peter and Emma walked into and another room with everyone watching them leave while Namor looked on skeptically.

-with Peter & Emma-

Emma and Peter entered the room and closed the door behind them. "So what did you want to talk about Spider-Man?" Emma asked with her arms crossed.

Peter smiled and took off his mask. "Emma, we're alone and and I made sure that no one will hear us talking. You can call me Peter", Peter said to her.

Immediately, Emma turned from stoic in her appearance to happy before she walked over and hugged him. "God, I missed you so much Peter", Emma said as she hugged him.

"I missed you to Emma", Peter said.

"I only dreamed you would say that. I thought you would be mad with me after the war we had", Emma said.

"I was never mad Emma. I was disappointed but then you did the right thing", Peter said. "Also, I'm sorry about Scott".

"There's no need to feel sorry for him Peter", Emma said letting go of him. "He's doing fine on his own right now. More importantly, you have the powers of a God".

"Yeah, I still can't believe it", Peter said with a smile. "I'm glad Magneto suggested you watch over me but I know he has something up his sleeve".

"He probably wants me to control you to benefit mutant kind but I could never do that to you. Although, I do admit a part me feels unworthy to be with you after what happened", Emma said.

"Emma, you are my friend and someone I care about. There is no way I wouldn't want you to help me", Peter said. "So what do you say?" Peter stretched out his hand to her.

Emma smiled a beautiful smile and shook his hand. "Of course Peter", Emma said.

-Back with Everyone-

"How long will they take?" Namor asked with slight impatience.

"Let's not rush them", Adam said.

Soon enough, the doors opened with Peter (with his mask back on) and Emma (in Ice Queen Mode) walking out. Tony was first ask them a question. "So what did you two talk about?"

"Nothing for you to worry about Anthony. Me and Spider-Man had to come up with terms for working together", Emma said with her hands on her hips.

"Myself and Ms. Frost came to an agreement to work together. I'll be in her care for the time being", Peter said with a smile under his mask. While everyone was okay with this, Namor wasn't to fond of this at all. Also Psylocke eyed Emma critically.

Elsewhere

Thanos, the Black Order, and their army were stranded on the planet with everyone panicking about what they will do. "How will we get off of this rock?! What will we do?!" a random alien yelled out.

The alien was immediately killed by Black Swan's heat vision. "QUIET!" she yelled. This did not help as everyone caused even more of a ruckus and everyone began to freak out more.

While everyone was freaking out, Thanos just looked up at the sky with a glare before looking down and drawing in the dirt. He drew Spider-Man's face with his finger before punching it and leaving a crater.

"This will not hold us and we will return arachnid", Thanos declared.

Next time... Spider-Man talks with the street level heroes. Plus, a powerful being wants to talk with Peter.
