"Lord Falmuth, we believe we have found what is effectively a hole ripped to another world."

The bearded king was sitting on an elegant chair in a mostly empty throne room. The meeting was ordered to be secret, as the contents it was about could very well be highly vital state secrets. The only ones in the room right now was the King, a few advisors and nobles, as well as the mage speaking to him, one who specialized in summoning magic.

"You mean to the world of the otherworlders?"

"Perhaps, though this one seems slightly different."

"No matter, what do you mean by this?"

"Well in truth, my Lord, we believe some large 'bang' happened which has provided a brief period of time when the connection between this world and that one is far stronger. While this would normally mean nothing at all, for us it means that we can possibly summon a hero for far less of the cost."

"That sounds brilliant! How many do you think we can get?"

"I'm afraid the hole is gradually closing, and summoning a hero may accelerate its return to a stable state. Regardless we can at least get a single summon with only a fraction of the cost still."

"Alright then, do it, and do it quickly, do not let any time go to waste!"

"Yes, my lord."

The mage bowed before heading out of the throne room as the King sat and pondered in silence for a few moments.

('Yes, more otherworlders should be vital to the protection of Falmuth's interests. I thought we wouldn't have enough to do another hero summoning for at least another year or so, however if this is true… Well we can have another otherworlder by the end of the week… How brilliant, brilliant indeed…')

It had been easily a few weeks, perhaps months, since I had made my weapons and affirmed my skills. For a good while I made a good flow of money from flying Magic Ore from the caves back to Dwargon, however eventually Kaijin, who I had been primarily selling them to, was supposedly exiled at some point. After selling my ore to some other smith, I decided I had enough money and began to think about what to do next.

A stable life as an ore supplier could work, but in truth it's really unrewarding. I could make a whole business out of it, however I'm about the only one capable of traversing the forest, let alone with such speed, considering the monsters within it. The only other immediate option given my strength would be the adventurers guild, however I've been avoiding that since frankly, I don't want to just go back to being the equivalent of a mage from my last life, following the whims and orders of a High Command and risking my life in the process.

For the time being I've been gathering what information I can, at least as much as I can without sounding like an idiot who doesn't know what may or may not be common sense or knowledge in this world. From what I have gathered is that there's a few notable nations of interest in the immediate area. Those being the Kingdom of Falmuth, a highly rich nation for its powerful trade routes. Dwargon, the nation I've been going to the most, known for its strong mining and smithing economy. The Eastern Empire, a nation Dwargon almost went to war with, but managed to diffuse the situation down. I can't find out too much about them, however I just have an instinct not to trust them entirely, so I'll avoid them for now.

Beyond those nations, there's also the territories of other 'things.' The first of which is the (former) territory of Veldora, the Great Forest of Jura. Even without the Storm Dragon's presence, the high magicule density and the large monster count makes colonizing it, as I predicted, non-feasible for the next few years at least. The next territory is that of the Demon Lord Milim, who seems to be one of the strongest. On one hand, getting a strong ally again after the loss of Veldora would be good, on the other hand, Milim has been described… Well not positively. Lastly was Jistav which seemed to be the domain of a notably weaker Demon Lord Clayman.

Course despite the fact that the Forest, now effectively 'free' territory, is filled to the brim with monsters, some nations seem to be sending out expeditions to explore it. Primarily while flying around I noticed the three adventurers I saw from the cave running from a small horde of fire ants. If I recall correctly, they also didn't have the masked girl before as well. Strangely enough, I can't actually see what skills she has, though I can tell that's because of the mask.

Regardless they seemed to be having trouble, and while I don't want to actually get too involved with the guild, if they are associated with it, then being on good terms with the guild itself might be to my benefit. Sighing, I decide it would be at least somewhat beneficial to help them as I quickly land a good several yards behind the ants and by proxy, them.

Not wanting to have them see me being able to fly, I ran up behind the ants as if I had been on the ground the whole time, rushing forwards, pulling out my Luger and shooting three shots to the head of the ant, causing it to quickly explode and collapse to the ground.

The masked girl finally seemed to realize what was happening and turned to begin slashing at the ants with her flaming sword. With an ant rushing behind me, I point my Luger at its neck and fire, killing it instantly as it explodes in its neck, effectively decapitating it. With just one left the girl with the mask collapses in front of it before a powerful, albeit black lightning strikes the ant, completely destroying it. While initially confused at what the spell was, it seemed to rather be a skill, Black Lightning, which I was able to find out through my own Transcending Eye skill.

As the dust cleared I noticed strangely the same slime from the cave, now with the mask on top as it seemed to have fallen off the girl. After a bit of Transcending Eye, I confirmed that this was the same slime as before. However, frankly speaking, its skills are interesting. Unfortunately I cannot see the specific of what the skills do at his strength, however I can see the names and a lot of them are certainly interesting, but frankly aren't my problem. Either way, he could be a valuable partner or ally to have, although not as strong as Veldora by a long shot, they have potential and could prove better than nothing, though I'm not sure how much help a slime is going to be regardless of his strength if that's what he always looks like.

The immediate reaction from the group of adventurers is simply "A slime?" as if I wasn't even there. Though to be fair not only was I holding back quite a bit, but also I'm not a slime who just supposedly made lightning come from the sky.

"Yeah. Got a problem with slimes?" The slime says, sliding over to the masked girl, albeit now without her mask since the slime is carrying it towards her.

One of the adventurers, a guy with dark blond hair down to his chin muttered, "Uh, no… I just never knew slimes could talk."

"I can't believe it." The girl in the adventuring party said as the slime moved forward a bit more, lifting up the mask in what I could only assume was the equivalent of a mask.

Lifting up the mask to the formerly masked girl, who now that I had a gaze upon looked heavily Japanese, the slime says, "Here, miss, This is yours, isn't it? Sorry about that. You weren't hurt, were you?"

"No, I'm all right." the masked girl said, grabbing the mask and putting it back on after a few moments.

The slime then turned to me, "You good back there too then miss?"

"I'm fine, a bit of lightning isn't enough to hurt me." I muttered as I put my Luger away into my cape where I had added pockets for all of my weapons for convenience sake.

Turning back towards the primary group of adventurers the slime raised a… hand? Finger? Some tiny bulge which seemed to represent a hand in some way as he spoke up, "If you guys would like, I can take you over to my Goblin Village for you all to rest."

"We'd appreciate that… We've been walking in this forest for days…" The same blond hair adventurer muttered, looking visibly exhausted. It seemed they had gone back to whatever nation they were from after being in a cave and then were shortly afterwards sent back out. They're quite far from any of the forest's borders, so they're quite deep too.

"Great! I assume you're coming as well?" The slime turned to me, giving a slight wave-like motion with his slime bump.

"I'm not actually associated with their party, I was just nearby when I noticed them under attack, so I helped."

"Well you're welcome to come anyways!"

"Alright then, I suppose I can't turn down an invitation."

With that I followed the slime and the party to the village. During the walk the masked girl especially seemed to be taking glances at me, though I'm not sure why. It felt strangely like she recognized me from somewhere in some way, even though I've never met her before, let alone seen her.

After a while we arrived in what seemed to be a growing goblin, no hobgoblin village. My skill again has allowed me to appraise a good number of the goblins here, and practically all of them are evolved forms of some of the goblins I had flown over before. There are even some dire wolves, though they seem to have evolved into 'Tempest Wolves' whatever that means.

After a while we arrived in front of a small tent-like building as the slime pointed to it, "Just wait here while I handle some things, I'll have the Village Chief help you out."

The others nodded and headed inside, though I remained out, asking the slime, "Mind if I look around a bit?"

"Sure thing, though can I ask why?"

"Just curious is all. It's a village of evolved Goblins, all seemingly not only working with Dire Wolves but also seemingly growing into a prosperous town. I'm not sure if you're aware of it, but so long as you commit, this town does have some economic potential."

"I see, that's good to note, I'll be sure to remember that! What's your name by the way?"

"My name is Tanya, yours?"

"Bold of you to assume I have a name, Tanya."

"I can tell a strong being when I see one. Not to mention, it's not everyday that slimes talk." Of course in truth I wouldn't know, I'm going solely off of what that one adventurer said. I've not actually come anywhere really close to a slime.

"Hehehe, I see, well I'd love to have a longer conversation with you later, Tanya. My name is Rimuru Tempest though, it's nice to meet you! I'm not a bad slime!"

I felt a strange feeling as if he was testing me somehow with that line. It felt like something I should know, or that he expected, rather hoped I would, frankly I'm not sure what to think but my instincts are telling me that last line was a bit more than a cringy attempt at a joke.

Eventually before I could perform a complete psychoanalysis of the nature of 'I'm not a bad slime', the slime had bounced away as I took off to begin looking around.

My thoughts about this town's economic potential were definitely true. Considering the medieval-based economy, the nearby Magic Ore cave and mine, the resources of the forest, not to mention how vital a trade route through the forest would be, they have the potential to completely shift the global economy. At least as much as I know it.

The only problem is it needs to be properly nurtured and utilized, not just grown blindly. If this slime, who was almost certainly the leader of the village, committed fully to the idea of forming a nation over a large city, we could easily see a powerful economy on our hands in this village.

After a bit of wandering I stumbled upon a tent containing a blacksmith, originally just looking it over I quickly realized who was running it, "Kaijin? You're here? I heard you got exiled?"

Kaijin turned and gave a hearty laugh as he placed down his hammer and approached me, "Haha, that I was, it's good to see you Tanya. Apologies I couldn't get much of a notice, it was all quite sudden. I'd explain but… It's a bit of a complicated story. If you need me though, I've taken up residence here along with some others from Dwargon."

"It's nice to see you're alright then, Kaijin, need any more Magic Ore?"

"Fortunately, Rimuru here has quite a large amount stored in his stomach. So I can't really purchase much at a fair price. You'd be better off selling it in Dwargon still. Anyways how is that weapon you built up treating you? I hope everything's working as you intended."

"It has, thank you. Of course that's thanks to you."

It's important to befriend your business partners. Kaijin is easily a legendary craftsman as I've heard throughout Dwargon from a number of people. To have him as a friend or at least on good terms would be beneficial in the long term.

I had considered working with Kaijin to perhaps sell guns to the wide world but… Well for how much I use them, the acceleration of warfare is not the acceleration of humanity. The invention of guns took wars from the 10s of thousands of casualties to the millions. When training and equipping soldiers became cheaper, the nations of the world made less and less, until eventually they had massive armies and massive amounts of death. War is not productive to humanity, however given our… well rather their nature, considering I'm not even human anymore, war is inevitable, the best I can do is to not accelerate it to a point where war is more damaging than it should be. Magic is enough chaos in war already I'd imagine, we don't need entire armies of Imperial Mages.

Now that I'm thinking about it… Why is Kaijin here? In this fairly obscure Goblin village? Sure it has a slime as its leader which already makes it unique enough from other villages, but… Well it couldn't hurt to just ask him.

"What are you doing here specifically, Kaijin?"

"Well it's a bit complicated as I said, but I enlisted my services to Rimuru for him helping me out with an order I had. There was a bit of trouble with one of the ministers, and I was exiled for it, which in all honesty was probably a mercy from years in the mines."

"I see, well good luck then, I suppose I know where to find you, assuming you don't have intentions to leave?"

"Not at this moment, I don't. I'll be right here if you want to make another order, though I'm not sure how much I can accept most currencies directly, trading will certainly be accepted."

"Yeah, I can see using currencies in a Goblin village probably isn't completely viable."

"They don't really have a distinct currency of their own either, its mostly all shared between themselves at the moment, but given that the village is constantly growing and taking in other goblin villages, thats likely to change soon."

"Such a communal structure works for small villages intent on survival, however as it progresses into a more advanced city, aspects like an economy begin to form. Unless your ruler Rimuru intends to implement a communist system."

"Communist?"

"Ah don't worry about it, it just means that the government controls how resources and the economy are managed directly. Well it's a bit more complicated than that but I'm sure you get the idea."

"Ah, I've heard the church rules their nation in a similar system over in the west."

The church… Runs a communist system… A communist church… You're fucking me? Surely this world is fucking me? The pinnacle of all that I despise… A COMMUNIST CHURCH?! HOW IS THAT EVEN POSSIBLE?... Whatever, frankly speaking it's probably not the same, a church can't be in line with communism. Unless of course, it's some weird theocratic socialist hybrid. Which could be possible considering this another world but… Well they're still commies at heart. Also if Veldora is one of the true dragons who are the strongest in the world, and he mentioned nothing of them being worshiped really… Then that just proves the church is fake right? Then what's holy magic? My skill mentioned 'spiritrons' whatever those are, maybe the term 'holy' magic is just a broad misunderstanding then. Maybe it's formed from faith in something or someone, meaning really any strong entity with the right skills could be the source of holy magic. Holy magic seems to usually involve worship but… I'm getting carried away. I'm getting too distracted by my vivid distaste of religion and gods after Being X, however so long as they dont impact my life, I don't have any reason to do anything.

"I'm not a big fan of religion…"

"I can understand that, I'm not really a follower of Luminism myself. Dwargon doesn't even have many luminist churches I believe."

Luminism not Christianity, noted. Unless he's under some strange name, Being X doesn't seem to be here, either. If this does prove to be just some random person who just happens to have a lot of power, that could go a long way in proving my point against Being X being a self-proclaimed god.

"So what do you think of this slime that you're working under? You must have some reason to follow him."

"I don't believe calling him merely a 'slime' is the proper term, but I will say this, he is quite smart, and strong at that, it's impossible to compare him to any other slime, heck it's hard to compare him even to humans or monsters in general, he's in a category of his own."

"He seems competent enough to have built up this town, as well as to hire you to help him it seems."

"Right you are, the monsters here are very kind and welcoming, more so than you'd expect. They have feasts almost daily, for almost any reason you can think of. Some of them are quite good at cooking too. Why are you here though? I saw a group of adventurers come in, I never took you for much the adventurer type. Maybe a mercenary, but that's about as close as I'd imagine you'd get.

"I'm neither really, I mostly just saw them getting attacked in the forest when making one of my ore runs so I helped them out. That's when over there found them and took out one of the large ants."

"Ah I see, so that must mean you get your ores from the cave. I always wondered how you got so much. You must be quite strong to make trips back and forth from Dwargon to the cave."

"I wouldn't have helped the adventurers if I wasn't."

"Have you ever thought about making a business? I'm sure just selling ores alone wouldn't be enough, but I've always seen you as a good negotiator, I'd imagine you'd do well leading any kind of business."

"I've considered it, I'm not too familiar with much outside of the forest and Dwargon as I've never explored too much, so I'm finding out a bit more about nearby nations before I make my choice."

"Smart, though I'd imagine in time, at least once or rather if this nation gains recognition by another, you could have a powerful potential market here."

"That's what I was mostly thinking. I'm sure you realize just how strategic of a position this town could have if it expands and opens up safe routes to other nations."

"Yes, it would completely reroute trade outside of solely the more expensive tariffs of Falmuth and into a trading route which, given Rimuru's nature, will probably be far less greedy and taxing."

"Shouldn't you be concerned about a potential retaliation from Falmuth?"

"Maybe, but I don't think there's too much cause for worry just yet. We're still just a village after all."

"I'd argue you're close to being able to call yourself a city, or at least a town depending on how fast these Goblins can build."

"They build quite quickly, honestly I'm surprised. They build far faster than most people in Dwargon seem to be able to. So I'll take it that we could probably consider calling this a city in a few months time."

"I should probably head off for now, I think I should probably have a conversation with that Rimuru if he's done with whatever he was handling."

"I should probably get back to making some weapons for the village's defense then, good talking with you again, good luck with whatever you plan to do, Tanya."

"You too, Kaijin."

I then turned and headed off to see if that slime was done. I was certainly right to make a friend out of Kaijin. My original hope was that he could be a good business partner if I ever stepped into that area, however his position in this village makes it so it will be a good long while before that becomes a feasible reality.

Eventually I stumbled into the slime bouncing out of the building with the adventurers in it as he 'waved' (as well as a slime can) at me, bouncing over quickly.

"Well Tanya, I'm ready to talk if you have the time, that hill over there will allow for a good bit of privacy."

"Alright then." I turned to begin walking over to the hill and noticed that I walked significantly faster than Rimuru could seemingly bounce. He had some skills which I'd imagine would help him, but it seems he didn't want to use them now. Rather a large dog, or rather a Tempest Wolf as my Transcending Eye tells me, likely the leader of them considering his features, hops out of his shadow as he begins to ride it over to me. Once we arrived at the hill he bounced off the wolf as he went away, now sitting on the ground he hopped onto a nearby rock to be at least closer to my level.

"You know, Tanya, they're having food down there, you could join them before we talk."

"Not too hungry right now, but thanks regardless."

"Demons don't need to eat, huh?"

"Wha-? How did you-"

"Fufufu, I have my ways."

By all accounts, he shouldn't. His skills gave away nothing that would suggest that he in any way could know. Magic Sense couldn't override my skills, and by all accounts I have no aura. The only thing possible was that one of his skills had some ability I didn't know. I can only see the names of skills, not their abilities really. The best bet would be 'Great Sage' which I originally thought to simply be an advanced version of my 'sage' skill, which just provides me heightened thinking power, but maybe there's something more to it.

"Don't worry, nobody knows, and I doubt anyone can figure it out given how well you hide it. Even I really can't see past your illusions, assuming that's not your actual appearance? Though to be fair I don't actually know what demons look like."

"You're right, it's not, though I'm under the impression most demons can change their appearance at will, at least their physical appearance, though I seem to be the exception, not sure why, I believe it has to do with how my physical body formed."

"You're an otherworlder as well right?"

"I take it that guns don't exist in this world."

"To tell you the truth, I have no idea, I just assumed they weren't."

"So you based that on an assumption?"

"I was right wasn't I?"

"I suppose you were, I take it you're one as well."

"Yep! But don't tell anyone, I haven't really said anything about it yet, they all think I'm just a unique monster."

"You've probably got to tell them eventually."

"I probably will once the time is right, or if it becomes important, for now it's simpler not to cause any problems by just not bringing it up."

"I take it you've committed yourself to building up a city here? You've got some good people working with you. I've worked with Kaijin before, he made the parts of my weapons, though I assembled them."

"Where did you make bullets?"

"I didn't, I mostly used the rifle to funnel through and stabilize my magical shots. Theoretically I can replicate the process without the gun, however the gun helps with maintaining consistency and ensuring I'm always firing at efficiency. I could also probably fire multiple shots at once by replicating the process around me, though I have barely tried it before."

"I see, what were you in your past life? I presume a soldier considering your knowledge of weapons."

"Which life? This is my third technically speaking."

"Third?"

"I originally was a Salaryman in a country called Japan, next I was a soldier mage called Tanya Degurechaff in a country called the Empire."

"Japan I recognize, I'm Japanese myself, its the Empire which I don't know. Which Empire? Roman Empire? Russian Empire? German Empire? British Empire? The list goes on."

"It was technically the German Empire, but it wasn't called that. It was just called the Empire. It encompassed the nations you probably know as Germany, Belgium, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Austria, Czechia, Slovakia, Hungary, Poland, Denmark, and a handful of others."

"That's… quite a large nation, I can see why it's called the Empire. You mentioned mage though, did that world have magic?"

"Yes, but on a fraction of the scale that this world has. You alone seem to have magicule levels equivalent to at least a hundred mages. The main reason we could do much magic at all was because of our equipment."

"I see. You mentioned you were Japanese though, a salaryman right? I worked in General Contracting."

"My main job as a Salaryman was firing people, one guy let emotions get to him and pushed me into a train. That's how I died the first time, only to be reincarnated by a self-proclaimed god into a world war where I served and died as a mage. Not sure what happened to him, but he seemed to vanish after my second reincarnation."

"Must've been harsh, I was stabbed randomly in the street!"

"You shouldn't be proud of that."

"So what exactly do you plan to do? Surely you must have some plan, I myself am building up this town as already mentioned, so how about you?"

"I don't have anything specific. Given my strength I could easily single handedly function as a one-man army. Though given my past life as a soldier, I have no desire for that. I'm a believer in capitalism and a stable and civilized life and work structure first. In my old life I desired the nice life of an executive, and even in my second I tried to get myself into a nice life in the rear, I have no desire for any action-packed life. My main option right now seems to be starting a company of sorts, but I've yet to decide on what."

"You could always come join us here! We are building a nation basically, and what's a nation without an economy? What's an economy without someone to manage it?"

"Are you saying you want me in charge of managing your economy? You're quick to trust someone's skills."

"You're the one who desired to make a company. Do you not believe you can do it?"

"I almost certainly could, even I see the economic potential a city here led by strong monsters could have. I'll take it under consideration. I still have to evaluate some options."

"Alright then. I can get some of the Goblins to make you some food, I have a feeling the adventurers may have eaten it all."

"I don't need to eat, remember."

"Doesn't mean it's bad for you. Regardless, I'll be around." With that, the slime began bouncing away before turning back again, "Not a big fan of Dragon Quest are you?"

"What's Dragon Quest?"

"Some video game, don't worry about it."

With that I headed out, I mostly spent the rest of the day looking around and occasionally eating with nothing more to note. The next day however was eventful. The masked girl, who I had found out whose name is Shizu, collapsed again when they were about to leave. I had no immediate need to go, considering I spent most of my time in the forest anyways and was about to head back to the cave to get more ores.

She then combusted.

It was a bit more complicated than that, but it resulted in a spirit within her being released called Ifrit. Now I'm not usually one to worry about things, and I might have considered fighting it if it weren't for one thing Noir had told me.

Demons are weak to elementals.

I wasn't quite sure if Ifrit was a full elemental, however he was certainly partially one, and that was enough for me to not take any risks. Besides, Rimuru has Thermal Fluctuation Resistance. Assuming slime isn't flammable, he should be fine.

I simply fled away onto a nearby cliff with everyone else while he fought it. Eventually I was proven right as Rimuru came to himself and realized that fire in fact, did nothing to him. I assumed he knew that before, but given how much effort he was putting into dodging… I doubt it.

Another day passed and the adventurers left, I decided to stay because I had no immediate need to leave, though I had planned to the next day, however my sleep was interrupted by Noir yet again.

"Hm? What is it you want this time Noir? It's not often that you contact me, it's usually the other way around."

"You are going to stay with that slime."

"Huh?"

"Stay with the slime."

"Why…?"

"He offered you a good position, did he not?"

"I won't say that he didn't, but why do you care so much?"

"It's a bit hard to explain, but just know the truth of the world shall be revealed to that slime, perhaps even the answer to our predicament regarding our similarities."

"I see… How exactly do you know this."

"It's that mask, I'm sure you've seen it."

"Shizu's mask? The one that has… frankly questionable abilities."

"Exactly, you see I was watching that mask for a long time, even before you arrived, and now it's in that slime's hands and well… It matters not, I needn't explain it. I have made no requests of you all this time, so I tell you this; work under the slime and make me look good for when the time comes that I can serve under him myself."

"You want me… To make you look good?"

"Precisely. If a demon with such similarities to me happens to do good with the slime, then the slime will be more likely to seek aid from a demon in the future, or at the very least you will be able to persuade him to."

"I'm not sure what you see in Rimuru, but fine… It was a serious option before, but I guess now it's what I'm choosing. I owe you that much at least. If I have any significant reason to though, I'm abandoning the slime."

"Very well then, I suppose I wouldn't be able to stop you."

"Is that all you wanted?"

"That is about it, yes."

"You know, have I ever told you that you sound like an old subordinate of mine? His name was Weiss."

"No, I don't believe you have, is this really important?"

"No, not really. Anyways I'm out."

"Strange demon child."

Now the next day, I stretched and got out of bed, though now that I think about it I frankly don't even need to stretch, but then again I don't need to sleep either. I took a step outside and noticed them already back at work with construction, some hunting squads being organized as well with Rimuru then bouncing over to me.

"Well, shouldn't you have left with them?"

"I told you, I'm not an adventurer, let alone associated with them. Besides, you're running a town here right? Someone needs to manage the economy, and I doubt someone from general contracting could do it alone."

"Well then, welcome to the team!" Rimuru extends his slime in a weird thumbs up before taking a step forward. "Well you already have a name, so I'll give you a last name! It's kind of customary for those working under me to be given a name by me if you don't mind."

"I suppose not, but are you sure you can even do that? It takes up your magicules right? I'm pretty sure I have twice the magicules you do."

"Well last time I gave someone a last name who already had a name it didn't seem to take any of my magicules, so from what I can tell it doesn't impact it whatsoever."

"Alright then, I suppose I'll allow it."

"Since you're a fellow otherworlder and you'll be working at such a high rank, I'll give you my family name, Tempest!"

"Are you sure about that? I mean I just joined you, bit quick to making me a member of your 'family.'"

"Don't think of it as a family in the conventional sense, it's more like a pact of friendship or alliance, depending on how you want to view it."

This slime was certainly too trusting, at least I'm in charge of the economy now so his trustingness doesn't impact the economy.

"Well then I suppose I'll accept it then."

"Alright then, your name will be Tanya Tempest then!"

His trustingness does have one positive, at least for me, it means that I can easily get a high rank, now seemingly his 'family,' whatever that means in this context. He says it's because I'm a fellow Otherworlder but I have an inclination that it's more than that. There's some other reason, but I can't tell and I could be entirely wrong.

"Well then… Where to start?"
