02) Vacation
Quinn smiled as she settled onto the poolside lounge chair, next to the pool of the Fabray Resort in O'ahu, watching Brittany play with the younger Fabray cousins.
"It was really nice of your mom to invite all of our families to your family vacation," said Rachel, as she draped her towel over the lounge chair next to Quinn. "And she trusted us with our own room."
"We're eighteen, Ray, not sixteen," said Quinn, shaking her head. "And you're all family, as far as mom is concerned." She smiled. "I take it your dads are still in the spa?"
"With Maribel and Santana, yep." Rachel smiled as she lay on the chair and grabbed her book. "I think we may have lost San for the day, I heard her mentioning she had a few treatments booked for this afternoon."
Quinn chuckled and said "We've also lost B to my cousins, so it might just be the two of us this morning." She then looked at Rachel. "Any chance your plans for today involve just lounging at the pool? We have that tour tomorrow."
"That's my morning, for sure," said Rachel, nodding. "But I was thinking of checking out the karaoke machines your mom mentioned." She smiled at Quinn while fluttering her eyelashes. "I was hoping you'd come with me…"
"I thought your sister would be jumping at the chance to do that," said Quinn, smirking. "Is she too busy?"
"She's busy with your sister," said Rachel, pouting. "They haven't left their room since breakfast."
Quinn's smirk grew as she said "Good for them," before shaking her head. "Fine, we can go check it out after lunch. Should be fun." She grabbed her book from the table and smiled. "But for now, I'm gonna read some more of this book."
"I'm going for a dip," said Rachel, smiling as she stood up. "Have fun with your book."
Quinn smiled as she watched Rachel get into the pool, before opening her book and leaning back.
