06) Rain
Brittany pouted as she sat in front of the window in their bedroom, watching the rain through it. It was a rare day where they all had the day off, no college work or work work, and they had just finished packing a picnic when it had started, and now it looked like they wouldn't be able to go. They didn't get many days like this.
"Hey, B," came Santana's voice, from behind her. Brittany turned to see her girlfriend standing in the doorway, a smile on her lips, and one of their blindfolds in hand. "We've got something to show you, in the front room."
Brittany arched an eyebrow before standing up. "What is it?"
"You're not getting it out of me that easily," said Santana, as she walked over to her girlfriend with a smirk. She held up the blindfold. "It's a surprise."
"Fine," said Brittany, allowing Santana to put the blindfold on her. Before letting her girlfriend lead her out of the bedroom.
"Surprise!" was the first thing she heard, after Santana had planted her in place in what felt like the main room of the apartment and loosened the blindfold. Brittany immediately tore it off, and gasped when she saw the furniture had been pushed to the sides and their picnic blanket had been placed on the ground in the middle of the room. With the food scattered out on it. Rachel and Quinn were already sat on it, using their couch pillows as seats, and Santana was quickly joining them.
"We figured that since you were looking forward to the picnic, we would have it regardless," said Rachel, looking at the stunned Brittany with a smile. "Do you like it?"
"I love it!" said Brittany, grinning as she bounded over and slipped into the spot between Santana and Rachel, hugging Rachel. "This is the best!" She reached over for a sandwich and smiled. "Does this mean we can watch a movie too?"
"Whatever you want, B," was Santana's response, with a loving smile as she grabbed a handful of chips from one of the bowls.
