12) Plain

"Oh man, I didn't realize I kept this," said Rachel, pulling a plain black dress out of one of the many boxes her dads had sent as she and Quinn sorted through them in their bedroom. "I still can't believe we won that Regionals, you know, considering everything that happened."

"You were amazing," said Quinn, putting her hand on Rachel's shoulder with a smile. "We definitely made the right decision making you Captain that day."

Rachel blushed. "I just did what anybody would have done."

"But nobody else did it," said Santana, as she walked into the bedroom. "You were the only one who stepped up." She shook her head. "Why did your dads even send us this stuff? They have the bigger house and if they're getting rid of stuff, how do they think we're gonna store it?"

"They don't. They sent it so we could go through it to see what we wanted to keep," said Rachel, looking at Santana with a small smile. The blush was still evident on her cheeks and she was grateful for the change of topic. "Most of it will end up being sold or donated."

Santana nodded, before noticing a familiar device in the nearest box to her. "Is that what I think it is?" She pulled the nightlight out of it and smiled. "I remember this. B loved it, why didn't we bring it with us?"

"It broke the month before we left for New York and we picked up a new one," said Rachel, looking at Santana with a small smile. "I didn't realize my dads kept it. I thought they threw it away."

"Even if it is broke, we can't throw it away," said Santana, with a small smile. "Besides, we're in New York, we can no doubt find somebody to fix it." She placed it aside before joining Quinn and Rachel at their box. "So, what other goodies have we found?"
