17) Feathers
"I'm starting to worry that B's feather collection might be getting out of hand," said Santana, as she stood to the side of their apartment with Quinn, watching Brittany glue another feather into an already quite full scrapbook. "Where's she even finding them, anyway?"
"There's a nest on the roof, and we walk through the park on the way home," said Quinn, with a small smile. "And do you want to be the one to tell her that she can't collect any more, you know how excited she gets when she does."
Santana thought about it for a moment, before sighing. "Fine, I'll go order a new scrapbook for her."
"No need, I've got ten coming," said Quinn, looking at Santana. "It's easier than buying just one at a time. Ray goes through them just as quick with her memory books."
"You know, I used to tease her about those, but I found myself looking at the one she did for our senior year the other day," said Santana, shaking her head. "It brought back a lot of memories…"
"Same when I was looking at the one from sophomore year yesterday," said Quinn, nodding. "Our girl is rather sentimental, isn't she."
"Yeah but we love her for it," said Santana, smiling. "Nobody else is gonna keep the receipt from a fancy restaurant just because it was our first time there."
"Well, it was Sardi's," said Quinn, grinning. "You know Ray wanted to make sure she would remember that."
Santana just smiled and nodded. Before looking at her watch. "Speaking of Ray, I gotta go. We've got a lunch meeting with the Funny Girl director." She placed a kiss on her girlfriend's cheek, before walking over to Brittany and saying goodbye.
