Hello all Storm here with a new story! Not really much else to say other than hope you enjoy the story. So, without further ado.

'I can't stop now; I need to put up a barrier!' Minato Namikaze thought while panting before quickly going through handsigns, not believing how badly things had turned out in just one night.
A night that was supposed to be one of the happiest nights of his life, along with his wife, Kushina Uzumaki, with it being the night their son Naruto would be born. Both of them having planned for everything in preparation for Kushina's due date. Having done so due to her being the Jinchūriki of the Kyūbi no Yōko, requiring preparations for when she gave birth. Given when female Jinchūriki gave birth, the seal keeping their Bijū restrained would be weakened, giving the Bijū a chance to escape.
Leading them to find a secure location outside of Konoha, where Kushina could give birth, while Minato ensured her seal stayed strong and kept the Kyūbi from escaping. Along with having a team of Anbu guarding the location just in case anyone tried interfering. While they had Biwako Sarutobi, the wife of the Sandaime Hokage, and Taji, Biwako's disciple as well as a Medic-Nin and member of the ANBU Black Ops, as the midwives.
With everything thankfully going smoothly, though Minato had been worried with the pain Kushina was in during the birthing. Before the two were overjoyed when it ended and they were able to get their first look at their newborn son.
Unfortunately, before they could enjoy the moment of being a family, a Masked Man had arrived, killing Biwako and Taji, along with the Anbu guarding the cave. With him then taking Naruto hostage, forcing Minato to act quickly to save his son, but leaving Kushina to be taken in the process. Before the Masked Man then extracted the Kyūbi from Kushina and placed it under his control with the Sharingan. Luckily, Minato was able to arrive in time to save Kushina from being killed, taking her to where he left Naruto, before going off to confront the Masked Man and deal with the Kyūbi.
The Yondaime arriving in time to teleport a Tailed Beast Bomb away before it could destroy the village, only to be forced to fight the Masked Man when he attacked. With Minato having theorized that he was really Madara Uchiha due to him having the Sharingan, as well as being capable of controlling the Kyūbi and the power he possessed, something the Masked Man didn't deny or agree with. Before the two fought, which came down to who could land a hit faster, something that Minato succeeded in. Not only managing to mark him with his Hiraishin Formula, but place a Contract Seal on the Masked Man breaking his hold over the Kyūbi.
Only for the Masked Man to escape, swearing that he'd return one day for the Kyūbi, leaving Minato to return and stop the Kyūbi from destroying Konoha. Arriving to see the Sandaime knocking the Kyūbi out of the village walls with his Adamantine Staff. With Minato then summoning Gamabunta on top of the Kyūbi before teleporting it far away.
Leading to the current moment of Minato standing in front of the Kyūbi along with Kushina and Naruto, having grabbed them after teleporting the Kyūbi. The Yellow Flash knowing what he needed to do, but first had to make sure the Kyūbi didn't try escaping and no one else interfered.
'Damn! I'm running low on Chakra, if I put up a barrier, I might not have enough to seal the Kyūbi away!' Minato thought, knowing he's already tired from fighting the Masked Man and then teleporting the Kyūbi.
Something that Kushina noticed, seeing how tired her husband was getting before she started gathering whatever strength and Chakra she still had left.
"Minato, I can…I can still do this." Said Kushina before grunting as she released her Adamantine Sealing Chains from her back, having them dig into the ground before shooting up into the air.
The Kyūbi roaring in anger as the chains that kept it bound before were doing so again, with Kushina tightening the chains around the fox while having the rest form a barrier around them. The Uzumaki Matriarch panting in exhaustion, not sure how long she'd be able to keep her chains out. Given how, even with her powerful lifeforce thanks to her Uzumaki heritage, she'll still die from having the Kyūbi extracted.
"Kushina!" Minato said in worry, knowing she shouldn't be using her remaining strength, before the two heard Naruto start to cry, making Kushina look at her son tiredly.
"Did I wake you? S-sorry, Naruto." Said Kushina while smiling weakly at her baby, before turning to Minato.
"Minato…seal the Kyūbi back into me, I can take it down with me…so at least its return will be…delayed. At least…I can do one last good thing in the end…and make sure Naruto grows up safely." Kushina said, wanting to take the Kyūbi down with her when she dies, much to Minato's shock that she'd want to take the fox down with her.
"Kushina…it's because of you, I'm the Yondaime Hokage! You made me the man I am, today! And you made me Naruto's Tou-san! And yet…" Said Minato, hating that he couldn't save his family, that the best he could do is make sure Naruto had the power to stop the Masked Man when the time came.
"Minato, don't give me that look! I'm happy…that you loved me. And that today…is Naruto's birthday." Kushina said, smiling at their son, knowing this was the best gift she could give him, the chance to grow up safe and happy.
"If I were to imagine me alive and our future together, the three of us as a family…I can't see us having anything but a happy life. If I were allowed just one regret, it's that I won't be able to see Naruto grow up. I wish I could have seen that." Said Kushina, imagining watching Naruto grow up, becoming the amazing Ninja she knew he'd become.
With Minato looking at her with tears in his eyes before wiping them away, knowing what he had to do, to make sure Naruto was ready. And to make sure that both of them had a chance to meet Naruto, no matter how long it took.
"Kushina, there's no need for you to die with the Kyūbi. Preserve what little Chakra you have left for a reunion with Naruto. I'll seal all of your remaining Chakra inside Naruto." Minato said, making Kushina look at him in surprise.
"It'll be part of the Eight Trigram Seal, then I'll take the Kyūbi with me with the only Fūinjutsu I can do since I'm not a Jinchūriki, the Dead Demon Consuming Seal!" Revealed Minato, much to the redhead's horror he'd use that Jutsu.
"The Dead Demon Consuming Seal?! But whoever uses that Jutsu…" Kushina said, knowing anyone who used that was would die.
"And one more thing. I'll only seal half of the Kyūbi within myself. Sealing a power that immense is physically impossible, it's also strategically unwise. If you take the Kyūbi and seal it within you when you die, there won't be a Jinchūriki around when it reemerges, it will upset the balance between the Bijū. The Dead Demon Consuming Seal will seal half the Kyūbi in me forever and the other half…I'll seal it inside Naruto with the Eight Trigrams Seal!" Minato said, looking down at Naruto, with Kushina looking at him in shock he'd want to make their son a Jinchūriki.
"I know what you want to say, but remember what Jiraiya-sensei said about a crisis in the future and the calamities that would follow. Two things were confirmed for me today, that Masked Man who attacked you is the one who will bring about this crisis and the one who will stop him is Naruto! I don't know why, but I'm convinced of this." Said Minato, believing Naruto was the Child of Prophecy, that he'd be the one to stop the Masked Man.
"But Minato…!" Kushina said, not wanting him to go through with making Naruto a Jinchūriki, not wanting her son to go through what she did.
Only for Minato to set Naruto down and began going through handsigns, ending with clapping his hands together.
"Dead Demon Consuming Seal!" Said Minato, Kushina's eyes widening as she saw the spectral figure of the Shinigami appear behind him.
"Let's put our trust into him! He's our son, after all!" Minato stated, knowing Naruto will face challenges, enemies that will try to take him down, but believed he'll be strong enough to keep pushing forward.
"When I'm finished with the seal, I'll seal your Chakra inside Naruto. When the time comes for him to control the Kyūbi's power, I want you to help him out." Said Minato, with Kushina gritting her teeth before looking down at Naruto.
"Our son…he's our son, which is why I don't want to put such a terrible burden on him!" Kushina yelled, hating the idea of Naruto having such a burden before he's even a day old.
"And why use the Dead Demon Consuming Seal?! If it's just so I can meet Naruto all grown-up, even if it's just for a little while, there's no need for you to die! I want you to stay by Naruto as he grows up and protect him. And why?! Why does he need to be sacrificed?! For the balance of the Bijū?! For the sake of nations and the village?! Why does it have to be Naruto?! Why does it have to be you?!" Demanded Kushina as she panted tiredly while feeling blood fly out of her mouth, doubting she had much longer.
"To forsake one's nation and one's village, is the same as forsaking one's child. Your own homeland was destroyed, so you of all people should know…the harsh life that awaits those without a home. Besides, our family is…one of Shinobi! And finally, even if I were to live, I'm no match to you." Minato admitted, knowing he could never take Kushina's place as Naruto's parent.
"Even though you won't have much time with him, there are some things only you as his Kaa-san can tell Naruto, things that I can't. That's a Kaa-san's role. I'm not doing this just for you, I'm doing this for Naruto. I will gladly die for my son, it's my duty as his Tou-san." Said Minato as he kneeled down and picked Naruto up before looking at Kushina, the Uzumaki still not looking happy at his decision, with even the Shinigami watching them.
Before Minato set Naruto down and took a deep breath, grunting when he felt the Shinigami's hand go through his back and appear through his stomach. The spectral limb stretching out towards the Kyūbi and grabbing hold of the Bijū. With the Kyūbi roaring as it felt the Shinigami grabbing part of its Chakra before ripping it out and placing it inside of Minato.
With the Yondaime grunting as he felt the Kyūbi's Chakra be placed within him, feeling like his body was on fire.
'Need…need to hurry…quickly!' Minato thought, looking at the Kyūbi, only to see the fox shrinking down to half its original size, along with its fur turning a darker shade.
'Damn you, Yondaime!' Thought Kyūbi while glaring at Minato and Kushina, angered that it wasn't only going to be sealed again, but now its Yang-half was going to be pulled into the Shinigami's stomach.
Part of the Kyūbi wanted nothing more than to drive its claw through the infant, Namikaze intended to seal it in, but knew it'd be pointless. Minato and Kushina would likely throw themselves in the way of its claw and still seal it away. So, as much as the fox hated it, it reluctantly resigned itself, at least being able to enjoy the fact its sealer and former host were dead anyway, while clinging to what little life they had left.
Minato then summoned the ceremonial altar and placed Naruto on it, only to turn towards Kushina when she coughed up blood.
"Kushina!" Minato said, rushing over to the redhead.
"I'm…I'm fine, just…get it over with." Kushina said, knowing she couldn't talk him out of making Naruto a Jinchūriki.
Nodding, Minato bit his thumb before going through handsigns, slamming his hand on the ground at the end.
"Summoning Jutsu!" Minato said, with Gerotora appearing in a puff of smoke, only for the toad to immediately scream at seeing the Kyūbi.
"GAAAAAAHHHH! The Kyūbi?! And Minato?! What the hell's going on here?!" Gerotora shouted, wondering why he'd just been summoned into a situation like this.
"Gerotora, I'm going to give you the Eight Trigrams Seal Key, I need you to take it immediately to Jiraiya-sensei and store it away." Said Minato, wanting to make sure the Eight Trigrams Seal Key was safe for when Naruto eventually needed it.
With Gerotora's eyes widening before he turned serious and nodded, his body stretching open and unraveled, revealing a large blank scroll. Going through handsigns again, Minato placed his hand on the scroll, causing the key to appear on.
"It's done. You have my word; the key will be safe and remain in my possession with Jiraiya. Now, I'm off!" Gerotora said before vanishing in a puff of smoke.
"That's it, then." Minato muttered, knowing he only had one thing left to do.
"Naruto…don't be a picky eater, eat alot and grow big and strong! Take your bath everyday…go to bed early and sleep well. Study hard on your Ninjutsu…I was never very good at it…maybe you will…everyone is good at some things and not so good at others…and if things don't go so well…don't get so depressed. At the academy, listen to your teachers. Make friends! It doesn't matter how many…just make sure that they're people you can really trust…and a few is enough! Regarding the Three Prohibitions of the shinobi, be careful when you loan and borrow money, make sure to save your missions pay carefully, and no drinking alcohol until your twenty…too much sake is harmful for your body. As for girls…well…I'm a girl so I don't really know what to say…but sooner or later, you'll want a girlfriend and that's normal…just…don't fall for a strange one…try to find someone…like me. Naruto…there's going to be hard and painful times ahead…take good care of yourself…! Find a goal…a dream…and don't stop trying until it comes true! There's…there's…there's so much more I want to tell you…to teach you…I want to stay with you longer…I love you." Kushina said with tears in her eyes, wanting nothing more than to stay with him, to see him grow up, watch him make friends, comfort him when he's sad, see him become a Ninja.
"Minato, I'm sorry, I used up your time." Said Kushina, with Minato smiling weakly and shook his head, feeling his own energy leaving him the longer he kept his Jutsu going.
"It's fine. Naruto…my words to you as your Tou-san…listen to your motor-mouth Kaa-san. And…be strong, we believe in you." Minato said with a smile as he made a handsign.
"Eight Trigrams Seal…Seal." Said Minato, the Shinigami reaching out and grabbing the Kyūbi, its entire body turning into Chakra that rushed forward into Naruto.
With the Shinigami also sealing away a portion of Kushina's Chakra within the infant as well, making the redhead flinch at the loss of what little Chakra she had left. Before panting as her Adamantine Sealing Chains faded away, no longer having the strength to maintain them. While the Shinigami grabbed hold of Minato's soul and devoured it, having fulfilled its part of the contract, before vanishing.
Though before they could fall to the ground, they were grabbed by Hiruzen Sarutobi, the Sandaime Hokage, and a team of Anbu. All of them having immediately rushed forward once the barrier had fallen, only to see there's nothing they could do.
"Minato, Kushina! What happened?!" Hiruzen asked while looking at his successor and his wife.
"Sandaime-sama…I'm sorry, someone…kn-knew where w-we were…a Masked Man…with the Sharingan…they killed the others…released the Kyūbi. They…they claimed they…they were Madara…and that…they'd be back." Said Minato weakly, wanting to make sure Sarutobi knew about the Masked Man.
While the Sandaime and the Anbu were shocked to hear this, that a Masked Man with the Sharingan and claiming to be Madara Uchiha was behind this. Hiruzen also being saddened to learn that his wife had been killed, as well as everyone else present, when Kushina gave birth.
"Please…please take care…of…Naruto…" Kushina said, looking at the Sandaime before turning back to her son, with Hiruzen turning towards the infant.
"He needs…to be kept safe…make sure…no one finds out…he has the…Kyūbi." Minato said, knowing Naruto's Jinchūriki status couldn't be revealed, at least not until he was older and prepared to face those that'd come after him for it.
"I will, I promise he'll be looked after and safe." Hiruzen swore, making the two smile gratefully.
"Good…and if anything…happens to…my baby…I will…come back…and kill you myself…" Stated Kushina, with Minato laughing slightly as he closed his eyes.
"She…will…" Minato said, fully believing his wife would come back from the dead if something happened to Naruto, before the last of his life faded away.
'I love you, more than anything.' Kushina thought, looking at Naruto before passing on as well.
Sarutobi and the Anbu all bowed their heads low at seeing the Yondaime and his wife were gone, before the former went over and picked up Naruto.
"Gather Minato's and Kushina's bodies, we need to return to Konoha." Said Hiruzen, the Anbu nodding before they picked the bodies and began making their way back towards the village.
*Timeskip-Seven Years*
Naruto walked through the village with a downcast expression, having just left the Academy after it got out for the day. Though he spotted Hibachi and his friends on the way before going over to them, hoping to try and spend time with his classmates. Learning that they were planning to do some "Test of Courage" tonight, with the Uzumaki hoping to take part in it.
Only for Hibachi to refuse to let him and warned Naruto not to follow them.
"Get this! Don't you dare follow us!"
'Hmph! Like that's going to stop me, it just means I'm gonna follow you! Then you'll all get a real Test of Courage.' Naruto thought with a smirk, already planning how to get back at Hibachi and his friends, imagining them running away screaming with what he has planned.
The whiskered blonde contemplating just how he could scare them, all while blocking out the whispers from some of the villagers as he passed by and the looks they were giving him.
'Now then…how can I scare them? And where are they even going for this "Test of Courage"? Maybe somewhere scary, like the cemetery. That'll definitely a good place to scare them!' Thought Naruto before stopping when he spotted a mask shop ahead of him, making him smile in excitement,
Running up to the shop, Naruto looked at the different masks to find one that'd really scare Hibachi and his friends. Before the Uzumaki grinned at seeing a fox mask, knowing that one would be perfect for his prank.
"You brat!"
"Huh?" Naruto said in confusion, only to see the shop owner glaring at him before shoving him out of the shop.
"Go away!" Said the owner, glaring at the whiskered blonde, with Naruto grunting as he hit the ground, not believing what just happened.
"What's the big deal?!" Naruto shouted, angry at the guy for just shoving him out of the shop when he was going to get a mask.
"What are you doing here?! You plague!" Yelled the owner while still glaring at Naruto, who suppressed a flinch at being called a "plague".
"What? I was only…I was only looking at the masks." Muttered Naruto, looking down as he began noticing the crowd gathering around them, not noticing his classmates Shikamaru Nara and Chōji Akimichi standing behind him.
Only being able to see the frowns and glares everyone was giving him, as if he's some criminal or a freak. Before Naruto grunted in pain when he felt something hit his head, looking to see it was the fox mask.
"You want this?! Well, you can have it! Now get lost!" The owner said, giving Naruto one final glare before returning to his shop, while Naruto gritted his teeth as he stood up.
'Bastard.' Naruto thought, going over to the mask and picking it up, before looking around at the crowd and clenched his fists to now see they looked wary or even scared of him.
'Why? Why? Why? WHY?!' Thought Naruto, feeling angry, hurt and sad at how everyone was looking at him.
"What?! Why are you all looking at me like that?!" Naruto shouted before running back to his apartment, not wanting to deal with the looks, anymore.
With the Uzumaki soon arriving back at his apartment, running inside and closing the door before leaning against it, and slowly sliding down to the floor. Bringing his legs up to his chest, Naruto frowned sadly, unable to figure out why everyone hated him, why everyone ignored him. Even the new teacher Iruka had told the other students to just ignore him after they laughed, when he failed to do the Clone Jutsu.
'What did I do?' Naruto thought before looking at the fox mask, part of him feeling like just smashing it to spite that bastard for throwing it at him.
Though the longer Naruto looked at the mask, he gained a contemplating expression of his face, thinking of how he instantly wanted it after seeing it. Not even bothering to look at any of the other masks in the shop, just that once he saw the fox mask, it was the one he wanted.
'Is it because of the Kyūbi?' Wondered Naruto, given how he was born on the same day as the Kyūbi Attack.
Is that why everyone hates and fears him? Why he instantly wanted the fox mask when he saw it rather than a different one? Why that bastard also assumed he wanted this one rather than another one? Is it because he was connected to the Kyūbi?
'Everyone is afraid of the Kyūbi, afraid of something way stronger than all of them. And they hate it because it's really strong, strong enough that the Yondaime needed to die just to beat it. That's something, no one here could ever be. But is that why they hate and fear me? Am I connected to the Kyūbi?' Naruto thought, feeling morbid fascination at the idea of being connected to the Kyūbi.
To be able to inspire that same fear and hate by being the most powerful thing alive. Before he began wondering if him being born on the same day as the Kyūbi Attack was connected, if maybe that meant he would grow to become that powerful.
Though, this also made Naruto realize that he didn't really know a lot about the Kyūbi, only the basics of what it was and that it attacked the same day he was born seven years ago.
'Maybe I could try finding out more at the library.' Thought Naruto, now feeling his interest was piqued at learning more about the Kyūbi.
Getting up, Naruto exited his apartment before making his way to the library, making sure to avoid being seen as much as possible. Not wanting to deal with anymore of the villagers looks, today. Luckily he managed to reach the library without getting too much attention, before going inside. Moving through the shelves, Naruto looked for any books that involved the Kyūbi, grabbing them before finding somewhere to sit.
'Let's see what there is.' Naruto thought opening the first book, feeling eager to learn more about the Kyūbi.
The Uzumaki learning how the Kyūbi was actually one of nine Bijū, massive beasts made entirely of Chakra, taking the shape of different animals or Yōkai. With the Kyūbi being widely regarded as the most powerful. Being considered a walking natural disaster that can desolate areas where the darkest aspects of humanity collect and fester.
'That'd definitely explain why it attacked Konoha, they certainly have no problem hating a kid or pretending they don't exist.' Thought Naruto, considering that being the reason the Kyūbi attacked Konoha, since the village and its inhabitants weren't as nice as everyone seemed to believe.
Continuing his reading, Naruto was soon surprised to learn one of the first incidents involving the Bijū was when the Kyūbi was attacked by Kinkaku and Ginkaku the Gold and Silver Brothers from Kumogakure. How they were swallowed by the fox, only to survive by eating its flesh for two weeks, forcing the Kyūbi to throw them up. But also granting them some of the Bijū's power, making them strong enough to even bring the Nidaime Hokage to the verge of death.
'Do I have the fox's power, like them?' Naruto thought while looking at a picture of Kinkaku and Ginkaku, seeing that they had the same whisker marks, he had.
The Uzumaki thinking that he could have some of the Kyūbi's power like they did, if he'd been exposed to it when he was born during the attack. Which also made Naruto wonder if he'd be able to grow as powerful as them, to be powerful enough to fight and overpower a Kage.
Shaking his head, Naruto went back to reading, soon finding the next incident involving the Kyūbi was the final battle between the Shodai Hokage and Madara Uchiha. After Madara had left the village, only to come back with the Kyūbi under his control. Leading to a battle between Madara and the Shodai, which also created the Valley of the End. While the Shodai had won in the end and subdued the Kyūbi before he helped in sealing it away into…Mito Uzumaki!
'Uzumaki?! There was another Uzumaki?! The Shodai Hokage's wife was an Uzumaki?!' Thought Naruto, shocked to learn the Shodai's wife was an Uzumaki.
Getting up, Naruto quickly began searching for any books on Mito Uzumaki only to, unfortunately, find that there weren't many. But was further shocked to learn that there wasn't just another Uzumaki, but an entire Uzumaki Clan in the Land of Whirlpools. They even had their own village called Uzushiogakure, along with a Shrine dedicated to them, here, in the village. With them having been regarded as the best Fūinjutsu users in the entire world. But Naruto's excitement and happiness at finally learning something about his family didn't last long, when he also learned about the Uzumaki Clan's destruction.
How they were attacked in a joint effort by Iwagakure, Kirigakure, and several Minor Nations they were allied with, during the Second Great Shinobi War. All of the villages having attacked Uzushio to wipe out the Uzumaki Clan, due to the fear they had of their skill in Fūinjutsu.
'Great, I just learn I'm from a clan, one that was all but wiped out years ago. At least it's something, though.' Thought Naruto, still feeling a little happy to have some information about his family, that one of his parents came from the Uzumaki Clan.
Going back to the books about the Kyūbi, Naruto began thinking even more on it as he read about the fox. How it was a giant mass of Chakra in the shape of a Kitsune, specifically a Yōko, making Naruto wonder if it didn't just look like a Kitsune but had the same powers as one.
'What can Kitsune do though?' Naruto wondered, not really knowing what powers Kitsune had before getting up to go find more books, curious to learn about the Yōkai the Kyūbi resembled.
Managing to find several books on Kitsune, Naruto returned to his corner in the library and began reading about Kitsune, what they were like, the types there were, and their abilities. With the whiskered blonde growing more and more fascinated and interested, the more he read. Reading how Kitsune were at their nature, cunning tricksters that enjoyed pulling pranks in humans, sometimes ranging from harmless pranks to humiliating ones to ones that were vindictive and painful.
While Kitsune's main ability was shapeshifting, usually into that of beautiful women, but also having plant manipulation like the Shodai's Mokuton, decelerated aging, Foxfire, casting illusions and manipulating dreams, drive people insane, enhanced instincts and physical abilities, claws, manipulate their hair, Onmyōdō. Along with their being thirteen specific elements that a Kitsune can align with. Those being Heaven, Dark, Wind, Spirit, Fire, Earth, River, Ocean, Mountain, Forest, Thunder, Time and Sound.
And one thing was that the older a Kitsune became, the stronger and wiser they got, along with growing more tails as they age. With it being that once a Kitsune gains its ninth tail, it would turn into a Tenko, which was the same as it becoming a god.
'Wow, no wonder the Kyūbi is feared if it can do all the things other Kitsune can do.' Naruto thought, amazed at how powerful Kitsune could be.
But also noticing how similar he was to Kitsune as well. He was trickster just like them, pulling pranks whether to gain attention, whether it be for his own amusement or the few rare times to get back at someone. He could also shapeshift with the Transformation Jutsu while his Sexy Jutsu did let him turn into a beautiful woman, too. While from what he read about the Uzumaki Clan, they had powerful lifeforce, extended lifespans and their skill in Fūinjutsu, just like how Kitsune have decelerated aging and Onmyōdō. Ninja were also capable of casting Genjutsu, which Naruto was sure he'd be able to learn, along with manipulating the elements, allowing him to replicate Foxfire.
'I really am like a Kitsune, aren't I. And the villagers hate and fear me for some potential connection to the Kyūbi. Then fine! If they want to hate and fear me for that, then I'll be a reminder of the Kyūbi and show them what a Kitsune can do!' Thought Naruto, embracing the role the villagers wanted him to play before he began writing down some notes about Kitsune, as well as the Uzumaki Clan, and put away the books once he was done.
Naruto then ran back to his apartment, so he could get started on training with the Transformation Jutsu. As well as planning how to get back at the shopkeeper for what he said and did.
The Uzumaki having completely forgotten about the prank he planned to pull on Hibachi and his friends, now completely focused on his new objective and plan.
*Timeskip-Three Days*
'Who's the plague now, asshole!' Naruto thought as he stood up on a rooftop while mentally laughing as he watched the shopkeeper being dragged away by Ninja, with them all wearing protective gloves and masks while everyone else was keeping their distance, with his shop being blocked off and closed.
Due to the fact that the shopkeeper was now covered in rashes and boils, was unable to control his bowels, along with constantly coughing even as he screamed and shouted that nothing was wrong and that they couldn't close his shop. Before Naruto saw the shopkeeper caught a glimpse of Naruto standing on the roof, his eyes widening at seeing him wearing the fox mask.
"THERE! IT'S THAT LITTLE BASTARD, HE DID THIS! HE'S RIGHT THERE LOOK!" Screamed the shopkeeper while struggling to try and go after Naruto; but the moment the Ninja looked up at the roof, Naruto was gone.
"Add hallucinations to the list of symptoms." One of the Ninja said, with another nodding in response.
"NO! NO I'M NOT CRAZY! IT'S THAT DAMN BRAT! HE DID THIS, HE DID THIS! THE DEMON IS RESPONSIBLE!" The shopkeeper yelled as he was dragged away, only for no one to believe him.
While on another rooftop, Naruto cackled quietly to himself, knowing that there'd be no evidence that he was responsible for the "misfortunes" that befell the "poor" shopkeeper. The only thing anyone would believe is the man had gone insane the "illness" infecting him. And even once it was cleared he wasn't sick, he'd become a laughingstock for the rest of his life and wouldn't even be able to open his shop in Konoha, as well as potentially the Land of Fire as a whole, ever again.
'This turned out better than I could've hoped and there's still so much more to be done!' Thought Naruto, planning to no longer pull pranks to get attention, now, he intended to use them as training to improve his abilities and as a means to get back at the villagers.
After all, Kitsune are nothing if not tricksters.
So, what did you think, good. Yep we see a familiar start as Minato seals half of the Kyūbi into himself and the other into Naruto, only for Minato to end up sealing the Yang-half into himself and the Yin-half into Naruto. With Yin Kyūbi not trying to kill Naruto, knowing it'd be futile and would still end with it being sealed anyway. Allowing Minato and Kushina to have a few moments left to give Naruto their final words, telling the Sandaime about the Masked Man and to look after Naruto, though we all know how that turns out.
Then we see a timeskip of Naruto, now eight-years-old, planning his prank against Hibachi and his friends for refusing to let him take part in their "Test of Courage". Only to deal with the shopkeeper throwing a mask at him and the look everyone was giving him. Before we start getting some changes as Naruto begins wondering if he has some connection to the Kyūbi and that's why everyone hates and fears him. Leading to Naruto going to the library and reading up on the Kyūbi, which also leads him to learn about the Uzumaki Clan and Mito Uzumaki, along with learning more about Kitsune as well. With Naruto soon deciding that he'll embrace the role the villagers gave him become a reminder of the Kyūbi and Kitsune as a whole, also just to clarify Naruto is not going to be a Kitsune just a fighting style based on their abilities.
Finally we see Naruto getting back at the shopkeeper, not only getting his shop closed down permanently but humiliating him, turning the man into a laughingstock. While also planning out other pranks for his training and getting back at the villagers. So, for those that like the story, thanks for your support.
