Guys, you beautiful people. Thank you for every nice word you're writing me in comments. I LOVE READING THEM AND REPLY THEM

Nervously, with sound of creak Hiccup pushed big wooden with metal additions doors. They were high enough, they would be bigger than 4 Vikings standing at each other's heads. For such little figure like her, it was much of problem opening them. Every time she tried, she must have use all of hers strength. She tighten eyes, with both hands pushed them just to be welcome with smell of sweat, warmth and view of light made by torches. Great Hall.

With deep breath, she went inside, trying her hardest to not look into anyone's eye. Even lightly contact, lead to unnecessary conversation in which she didn't had strength to get involved in. Her eyes were looking straight at the ground, head down. With little and silent steps, she went towards, standing by the end of this room, tables at which placed was dishes and drinks. Dinner was ready.

As she hers breakfast always ate in hers own house, dinners and every other meal happened here. It was for Stoic important for his people to gather together. While times of war was lasting, it's biggest matter to be with those, which means to us the most. It was saddening for her she couldn't feel like that. Hers usually was to sit by corner of hall, by the farther table, with eyes focused on food, keeping hers eyes from tearing from loneliness.

Possible, it was matter of hers unwillingness of joining others? Maybe, but she still remembered times when she tried stick with them, just to be shoved from hers place by hers cousin and his friends. Even so she knew they matured, she didn't wanted risking another embarrassment.

"Yer made it pretty well today, maybe not best, but yer improvin'" Her eyes raised from hers plate, slowly as she was scared someone would hear it's movement. She was meet with view of Gobber's with other young adults. In mere moment, she yet again looked at hers dish with now wide eyes of confusion. What they are doing here? It was much unusual for them to be that far from centre of hall.

She could hear him sigh. "At least few of us..." It was obvious for her towards who these words were.

"I don't know what yer even think about. I was amazing'!" Tuffnut voice went to hear. Imagine of him now looking proud of himself overwhelmed her, at which she just rolled hers eyes.

"Amazin' at bein' muttonhead." His sister exclaimed harshly, taking most of loudness towards last words. "Stop kissin' yerself! It's makin' me sick!" She shouted and next thing Hiccup heard was sounds of wrangling.

The wooden leg knocked at wooden panels hardly. "Stop yer two!" Because of sounds, Hiccup was rather sure he parted them. "Mature already!"

"It's impossible for them." Astrid voice, coldly and harshly. Hiccup back shivered, hers shoulders tighten and hers eyes were now even closer to hers dishes , like she tried to hide herself. Astrid voice worked at her like that. "They will always behave like little kids."

"Miss prefect Astrid as always huh? At last when I have chance to kill dragon I wouldn't listen to some stupid rules and get over with it!" It was astonishing for Hiccup how she could actually hear Astrid eyes snap at her. She could feel that theirs inside fight was animal alike.

"That's actually a chief rules. Broken them, might even threaten with banishment." Fishlegs added, afterwards there came silent around. Hiccup considered that everyone now was eyeing him threatening, forcing him to stay in mortification. Not so surprised, at theirs view I wouldn't even move honestly.

The loud punch into table frighten her, that she jumped from seat slightly. "Why can't we kill them! How we would be able to kill then outside area, when we can't kill them inside of it!" Snotlout shout, with hearable anger and raged came into hers ears like little knifes, hurting her much.

"I already explained that, didn't I? That's lasting ones. If we kill them, there won't be any of to train with! Yer think yer only one here which want to be train?" Gobber used his scary tone of voice, but in for Hiccup, it's still sounded like her old, crazy Gobber.

"What about that new Monstrous Nightmare yer catches days earlier?" At the name of that species Hiccup shivered. Last time while engaging it, ended with her being kidnapped and even earlier because of it she was hated by almost whole village. "This time yer have to let me kill it!" Astrid stood loudly, smashing hers palms into table.

Gobber sighed. "Aye, yer can kill it, but just like last time it would be competition." Not much of time passed and Astrid knocked a bench from underneath her.

"I won last time! I deserve that! Nobody else!" Hers yell echo whole hall, Hiccup feared that hers ears couldn't last more of that shouting.

Ruffnut laughed, teasing her even more. "It's not our fault Hiccup couldn't stop herself and 'accidentally' let that thin' out!" Hiccup wanted to disappear, she shrunken into bench, bending herself as low as possible. "Thinkin' that girl was let killin' at trainin'."

Thrill came at hers back as she felt theirs eyes at her. She could just imagine Astrid murder eyes. "Let? She can kill trainin' dragons?" I wish I just didn't exist now.

Gobber knocked his wooden leg at the ground from thoughts. "Well, she is daughter of Stoic, she has hers right-"

"I HAVE MUCH MORE RIGHTS TO KILL DRAGONS THAN HER!" Astrid shouted, Hiccup already started planning hers runaway. Safer is in mine house or forge? "THAT CHICKEN, TROLLFACED AND FAILURE DOESN'T DESERVE ANY OF IT!"

Hiccup stood nervously, immediately hers foots without any of hers thinking took her outside. She could now feel running tears through her face. Gobber was yelling for her, but she didn't even register it. She run forward where hers legs carried her. Hers yet again focused on ground, eventually leaving there tracks of drops. I just wish, I could disappear.

Hiccup laid straight face at hers pillow, which was by now wet from hers crying. One of hers arms dangle from hers bed she was at. She felt devastated, but it happened that usually, she was already used to that. Looking outside window, which was just over her. Little moonlights gave room feeling of peace and loneliness. As those two things doesn't suit each other, for Hiccup both of them was rather impossible to live without.

She tilted hers head a bit, just that she had view of nearby metal shield. There was a reflection of her, she had messy hair, now which hold hers braid already loosen and hers hair was almost down free. Hers green eyes was now red because of quantity of hers tears. Thinking she is about to become chiefness.

Everyone, everyday get her to remember it, but look at her, she doesn't suit to be chief. Even so, she didn't wanted to be one! Her whole life was getting to know hers future responsibilities, lectures of hers father. Truth is, even if anyone would let her that position, she didn't wanted it! Why would anyone don't want such honour? She dreamed about something else. She dreamt about journey.

Hiccup would always stare at the far ocean wishing to know it whole. She wanted to get to know what is right after horizon. She wanted to travel, discover, explore! These chief things, never ever was in hers understanding, she didn't cared about them. At that thoughts, little drops went from hers eyes. But then, it was hers future, hers responsibility, hers... fate.

And to accomplish it, she had to get rid of that other side. She focused, sat down and rushed fingers between hers hair. Hiccup still had work to do, solve hers greatness problem. Sentences from that terrible book scroll through hers head.

'The death would break, the lost would make.' What's that even mean?!

While that thinking hers eyes catch view of window, she didn't had strength, but to overlook through it. Hiccup grabber it's frame and used hers arms to get herself up. While looking, she noticed upon stone wall, with known her wooden doors. She rolled eyes by them, and then yet again they catches something interesting. Gothi's house.

That house was the highest placed in whole village, just over great hall. The surrounding mountain stairs were leading just to her. At Hiccup face went unknown her smirk. Gothi has contact with gods, right? That's mean she has an answer to hers questions!

Immediately she jumped through window, slide through roof and ran with all hers strength in direction of it. The night was already deep, everything was dark around her, because of which she wasn't scared to bump into someone. Hers heart was drumming. The sound of it echo whole hers body. She was confident. Maybe, it's end of hers problems?

She raced by stairs, every step getting her much more tired. By the halfway, she stopped. She nervously placed palm by hers mouth, she started shaken. What if she thinks she is crazy? Or that she is demon? Isn't it reason she would hide it that long time?

Hers back now faced stairs, as she sat at them. Hers knees met hers face, covering it whole. Hers lasting hope faded, but she was rather happy she saw hers mistake. Turning around, she overlooked that she was almost in place of Gothi's house, and new feeling took her over. I can't tell her about what happened, but then it doesn't mean Gothi doesn't have something which would help her. Can I... just steal what I need?

Hers heart yet again raced. No, no! She can't just! It's village healer! What if she would need it in future! But then, she would just place it where it was...Her palms found theirs way towards forehead. She breathed deeply to calm herself. She turned, in position to yet again see house. She tighten hers eyes in conflict. I will just borrow, NOT STEAL! Besides, that's for Berk's good.

Next steps, now in slowly movement, went just forward the big hut, rather than house. Hiccup signed in shame, eyes in slits, and with much more lighter than hall entrance. When she opened door hers luck let her done it without any crack. She tighten hers teeth in nervousness, looking around building. It wasn't big, there was two tables at opposite direction just by enter, big cauldron by which was bed, probably for sick people and guests. Surprising was that figure was lying by it now. That figure was- GOTHI!

Gothi was short, but not short as Hiccup, rather like tall dwarf. Hers grey hairs were in messy state as she was sleeping dream fully, tighten hugging hers wooden staff. Hiccup knew Gothi never was bad person, demanding obviously, but in kind way. She felt like traitor while doing such awful thing like stealing, but then Hiccup was too miserable to care about it. Just when she picked one of books, which cover gave her feeling of needed by her, Gothi started wrangling.

Hiccup didn't thought twice, she just took first stack books that was at table and without any hesitation throw them outside by window. Afterwards she herself sat by frame of it, last time looking at Gothi behind her. She was shameful, felt like betrayer alike. For moment she was ready to just turn back, and explain whole situation, but then bad feelings overwhelmed her, she tighten yet again hers eyes and went outside window.

For Hiccup surprise it seems that window didn't lead towards wooden ground outside Gothi house, which she thought surround WHOLE house, but now Hiccup found herself free falling. Hiccup focused, now breathing fast, with loudly sound of heart inside her. Hers eyes wide open, looking towards upcoming ground. Mind reminded her of something important, words of that Night Fury. It was by will, not by emotions. Just think about being dragon. THINK HICCUP THINK!

Her thought focused on last times when she was laying at sand ground, by water when last time she found herself change. For her big surprise and panic, she yet again felt changing, but this time was different, because she had control it. Like it was just... natural for her. By unknown her magic hers hands changed to claws, there was familiar little of pain in back bringing wings. When it was done, proud of herself Hiccup understood that still she didn't knew thing about flying!

Panic came at her, there was silent snarl from her. Just then, instinct overwhelmed her and hers wings opened. She was gliding, still falling, but at last in control way. Even so, wind knocked her, and she flew in direction of big tree. Hiccup was happy hers direction was opposite from village, but then when hers muzzle was met with hard wood, she regretted hers thoughts. She now laid stomach at ground, with terrible pain, but alive. At last alive.

She focused, this time thinking about being human and then surprise, surprise, she was human, again. With terrible headache and pain in stomach she stood up, but there wasn't visible any of pain in hers face. She was breathing deeply. She done it. She was flying! Well, diving, BUT STILL! She had control over it! She smirked brightly, with closed eyes from tiredness, bending over hers knees.

When she opened them, just a little farther from her laying was books she just stole. From that high, covers broke and parted from paper which was laying upon. Hiccup picked all of them, and hers eyes catch something giving her new idea. Forest.

"I didn't expect you that early, you need much less time as I thought." Cold voice surprised her as she went inside cove, looking around she was met with wide back of it's owner. Night Fury. In his human version. "What are you doing here?" He stood up, slowly, not scared of hers presence, turning face to face to her.

She shallowed saliva loudly. "Um... I got somethin' interestin' for yer!" Held by her books, all in tatters. She smiled and laughed nervously. Then, hers face changed at that embarrassment one.

He went closer, cold look in his eyes. When he was in acceptable distance he looked at hers present. And giggled loudly. "Wow, thank you! Broken books!" He said, with much bitter in voice.

"They are from my village elder! Probably somethin' about gods." She started staring intensely at held objects. His look now changed into that mad one. All time favourite! "Maybe, we would find somethin' in them..."

"Did you told her-" Frightering her much now, she could feel his murder aura. Hers eyes went wide, immediately she took books to hers chest, as they were now hers shield.

"No! Of course I didn't! I just... borrow some..." Hiccup nervously scratched hers head, avoiding his eyes, looking now down into ground. He signed mocking.

"You stole them." His voice gave her even more shivers than with Astrid, she could feel his scary glare without even looking up. She nodded, shamed. He took them from hers hands, and she couldn't not to notice how his hands was much bigger than hers. Forcefully, books now belonged probably to him. Nothing from borrowing.

Looking at him, now going away from her, she felt need of explaining herself. "Yer stole that book as well, didn't yer?" When he yet again turned to face her, she immediately regretted hers words. He smirked at her, as he was laughing at her.

"I stole from humans, which I hate. You stole from humans as well, but with which you live. There is BIG difference." He mocked, and she could hear his laugher under his nose. She couldn't now actually control herself and yet again felt need of explanation.

"As for dragon yer spend much time as human." She pointed at him, his appearance changed right away. It was for her amazing how his coldly face was even more coldly than earlier. He looked at her just like she said him worst insult she could have.

"Even so, I hate that book-" He pointed at his bag, which was now likely hang at branch of nearby tree. "It's right. If we were created by those 'gods' we were parted as intelligent humans and strong dragons. I can't read or analyse things as well in dragon form, as well in human one." She giggled at it, looked at him smirking in victory with crossed arms and rise head. When he saw it, he continued, but much more raged. "That doesn't change that humans are still weak creatures." She step back, but he at sign of it step forward. She frighten as hers body started shivering. "Useless, vulnerable and ignorant." She tripped and he was already just over her. Hers frighten eyes met with his furious ones. "Dying slowly, not even feeling it as yours skin starting to decompose from getting old. Even so you have that intelligence. You. Don't. Use! IT!" He shouted and she covered herself with hers arms. Seeing that he won, leaving her defeated, he went straight towards that books again.

She laid like that for some moment later, trying her hardest to stop hers crazy now heart. Placing hers palm at it helped her a lot. When she stood up, she looked at him, sorrowful. After that small argument, even if for Hiccup it felt like sword fight more than argument, both of them started searching these books. For theirs disappointment, there wasn't nothing interesting in them. Seems Hiccup just took most random, and useless books. Even so, Hiccup didn't wanted theirs time to be wasted.

"Did yer thought about that prophecy?" While sitting and staring at lake, Hiccup asked him. He looked bit surprised by hers sudden question, but even so, he didn't looked like he didn't thought indeed.

"Yes I did. And I have idea about first part." Hers eyes went wide. She couldn't believe that after just one day he would have an answer, even if it's only idea. Hers development was going like a turtle in comparison to his. Seeing hers expression, he just smiled proudly. "What about you?"

"Not exactly. I mean, aye I thought, but I have no idea how to sum all of that up." She looked at him embarrassed, waiting for his teasing, but that one never came. He didn't looked like he was angry or annoyed by this, but like he understood her. Like, he was even sympathetic for her. Strange feeling. "What's that idea?"

"This is more likely split into two parts. As we know, that prophecy is about us, and probably it was made so only we could understand it. Because of which, one part would be understood only for dragon, and other one-"

"For human." She looked at him amazed by his words. He nodded at it slightly. She focused hers eyes on him, like she saw some ghost in him, he returned it by confusion. "Ye're really smart." At that compliment she became red and covered herself in hers hands from world.

He giggled at hers sign, but not in his normal way. Was it even cute? "Back to topic." She calmed herself, and yet again focused on his next words, bending into his direction as she wanted to hear every word now. "I think I understand first sentence. 'The death would break-'. I don't know what exactly it would break, but I know who's death it would be." After that words, at thought of next ones he become yet again cold, straight. Hiccup started getting worry about them. "A leader."

Her heart stopped. Leader's death? Did he meant hers father? Hers body becomes tense and she looked at him looking into darkness of night. "H-how do yer know about that?" She stuttered, nervously.

He directed his vision at her, radiating his hidden anger. "Doesn't matter. It's not something you need to be involved in." Hers eyes met his, hers frighten met his coldness. She was speechless.

Of course it involve me! It's my father! I can't just- it's my only family! Even if his death would mean my freedom! I can't lose him! 'The loss would make.' No, NO! It can't suit it! Maybe, he isn't right! That's doesn't have to match! Maybe, it's about something else! Too much thoughts!

Seeing hers sudden distress, he focused his look over her, like he wanted to read hers emotions like opened book. "Are you sure, you don't know anything I should know?" He asked, and she shivered. She couldn't told him that! He values himself that freedom more than everything! And if he would find out that it fits, he wouldn't even wait a moment and already flew to take his life!

"N-no. I don't think so..." She exclaimed. He bend over her, his eyes focused on hers, that much she was scared he would hear hers thoughts. She bend in opposite direction from him, avoiding much of his eyesight. Eventually he grow bored and left her in that state. Even so, she knew he suspect something. She had to now be careful around him.

He looked up, sky started covering into peaceful red. Dawn. He yawned at that sight, and next thing he done actually scared her, even if it shouldn't. Before her he changed into dragon. She never actually seen him do so, it looked, strangely, natural... It looked okay, like it wasn't nothing far from standard. He pushed his wings and next thing she saw was him sitting and grabbing by tail at same tree branch she saw his bag hang at. Within moment, he tighten hold in tail and let himself fall towards ground. Surprisingly, he now bat alike was hanging by it, eyes closed. Huh, strange view.

She went closer, wanting to understood his intentions. Hers eyes were analysing all his body, from his tail towards his muzzle. Then, his eyes snapped at her, making her jump away scared. "What are you doing?"

"Um... I just was thinkin'... what are yer doin'?" She asked while pointing at the tail, still analysing him whole.

"It's getting bright, and I'm tired. I'm going to sleep." He explained, but seeing hers confusion he snarled. "I'm nocturnal creature, I sleep in day."

"I know... but why in that position?"

He looked up at his holding tail, then again turned to her. "It's Night Fury's thing. It's for me just comfortable like this. Anything more, or you likely going to ask me about thousand more questions?" Sensing his annoyance and his tiredness by which while irritating him, she was sure it would end up with good, at last not for her, she just nodded and turned towards entrance.

In halfway she turned yet again at him, seeing he is peacefully sleeping, she felt bit angry at herself. She knew deep down only thing he wanted was freedom. Nothing more. Then, here she was, traitor which doing opposite of which she promised him to do. They were supposed to work together, he said it on his own, but still she hide from him information which could be important in case. She couldn't help it. She couldn't just let him kill off hers dad! There must be another way. There must be...

She went off, not knowing yet creature she thought as asleep was staring at her intensively. He didn't trusted her, but he needed her. At least... for now. When she disappeared, he went into much needed him sleep.

And now great news. I. Will. Have. Plenty. Of. Free. Time! It means I might, if my mood will let me do so, write a marathon for Broken Together. I want to end that story already because it's about 5-6 chapters till end and I have another's idea to make! I actually have two of them that's why I will let you choose.

Another fic toothcup, same ship BUT medieval, inspired by another fandom NOT SAME HISTORY, I promise.

And~ surprise. I won't say what ship it's going to be about, remember it's MY idea, so~ you should remember what I love~. Yes, it's from httyd. Let's say it's another modern, and not any word said. No spoilers guys. ;) It's huge surprise.

Choose wisely, but even so, I would write them both. It's just the difference of time tho.
