He woke up with start. Violently. He blinked his eyes furiously, surprised that he had to get used to dark. Looking at surroundings, he noticed that he was indeed in cove, it was already night and before him, not too far in distance, there was a fireplace by which sat Hiccup. When she saw he was awake, she smiled rather brightly, but he saw that it was too wide, suggesting she was nervous. He tried get up, to his surprise he wasn't capable of doing so. Looking down, his arm was with rope tied to tree he was now laying at. He looked at her, searching for answers.

She sighed at such view, didn't wanting to start that topic. "Sorry. I was scared of what yer will do after."

"After what?"

"Well..." She screeched hers hairs in uncomfortable, avoided his eyes. "I knocked yer out."

As she predicted, happened. He started throwing himself furiously, but to hers bewilderment, he calmed after mere moment. He sat there now, looking at her in annoyance. She's good. "Okay, I get that. Let me out."

She stood up, but didn't went forward to him, just froze in place. "Promise you won't attack me?"

"I won't." She raised a brow at him, rather waiting for better answer. "For moon's sake, I'm saying, I won't!"

She sighed, rushed to him and with hers knife snapped ropes. Even so, she kept hers sight on him, in distrust. Afterwards she get back onto hers old place, now actually stone alike. He never saw her stone alike, and it doesn't suits her. Eventually, he followed her, sitting in opposite to her by fireplace. Just like at theirs first met. He tighten his eyes, in way to remind himself yesterday's situation.

"Why are you still here? Shouldn't you already gone to yours village?"

"I wanted, but then I thought yer wouldn't know what to do about-" She looked at him, hers eyes focused on his shoulder. "-this."

He turned his head, in way to see what she saw. There was bandage over his shoulder, arrow was gone. His turtleneck was ripped, all of material of arm was gone. He looked at her puzzled, demanding answers.

"I'm sorry, but there wasn't way for me to just help you without cuttin' cloth off. I'll get yer new one from village. Besides, I'm sure yer stole that one, yer shouldn't be that hard on me."

"Alright." He started now at it, there wasn't any blood now, and it felt comfortable. He moved it a little, in way to check his mobility and to his surprise it didn't hurt as earlier. Hiccup glanced at him, it looked like little cat which just found ball of yarn. At only thought and wonder, she couldn't help, but to giggle because of his temporary cuteness. Hearing it, he rapidly turned to her. His glance was cold now. "What?"

With smirk at hers face, she avoided his sight. "Nothin'."

He raised his brow at her, but eventually let go that theme. "Still, I don't understand. Why would you have to explain me anything?" He pointed at his arm. "Should I change it, or what?"

"No, it's okay. I actually thought that by mornin' yer might take it off. I was worried yer might from lack of understatement took it off too early." She stood up, focused at his arm. "Let me check on it." Just when she made hers first step forward, he immediately stood up. His arms were pulled in front, warning her, before making any move. "Seriously?! Yer actually jokin'!"

"What you thought?!"

"That after I healed yers arm, yer would finally trust me! I actually by doin' so, touched yer Thor knows how many times!"

"Even so, I'm now conscious! Now, that I'm able to refuse, I will!" Both of them looked at each other dangerously, coldly. He used his common glare, while Hiccup looked like she was about to throw herself with fists at him. "Listen-"

"No! Yer listen!" He frozed, his look had now slightly frightened in it. "I'm sick of it! I'm sick of yers distrust! I'm one that should been distrusted of one another! Not other way!" Her face made itself red, hers teeth were tighten. He opened his mouth to say anything, but closed it rapidly, when she continued. "Yer were one that never ever showed me any trust, any help. Everything yer doing, is for yers good! Yer threatenin' me, yer insultin' me, yer, for sure, wishin' me death! I never ever done anything bad to yer! I actually saved yer life! I spared it, even if I shouldn't! I'm doin' everythin' in my power to help! What I get in return?! This?!"

"As I remember, I actually saved yours life yesterday, earlier as well!"

He tried arguing back, but it was useless as she just crossed hers arms in annoyance and rolled hers eyes. "Yer saved me earlier? How? By not killin' me? Even so, yer helped me then, not because yer care, because I'm useful to yer, but not in way I wished, I do. I just want yers trust, is that too much?" He looked down, little ashamed for himself now, even so tried remain straight. "I still remember yers words, I never actually tried human meat, do yer know, how scary it was for me? Of course yer don't. Yer probably still thinkin' that when I would become useless yer would just kill me off with blink of eye." She came closer, at her face there wasn't even slightly fear. She looked at his eyes, which tried to avoid her. "I'm not scared of yer. I'm really not. Yer wish best for yerself, but one day yer will wake up all alone, beggin' for help. Nobody would be that reckless to do so. Yer have much of reasons why yer should trust me, but try quote even one, why I should trust yer?"

He looked at her, surprised at hers question. He really tried remind himself at least one situation. Was he really that bad for her? His eyes closed tightly, from invincible pain. "I can't."

She sighed loudly, turned away and went towards entrance of cove. He stood stunned, not much sure what he should done now. Run after her? Stop her? Was there any option? Even so, he didn't done anything actually. Just stood, wondering if she will even came back here.

Despite change of time, already morning one, he remained still. Laying onto ground, he tried to get rid of thoughts, which even if were bad, started truths. She hate me. He shouldn't be much bothered by that, yet he was. He needs her. But, how did he needed her actually? Was that because she was key for his riddle? Was there something behind it? If there was, what was that? What he should do now to get her back, somehow? There must be at last one thing, which he done for her, right?

By theirs first meeting, he let her free, let her go, despite of that she actually catch him, and was about to kill him. That was one reason? Not exactly, because he probably back then, done it just for honour. She spared his life, his responsibility was to spare hers. By second met, he actually wanted to kill her with cold blood. Let's better not analyse that. Then, he also insulted her, called her by worse. Again, great job, really. Was there any way to fix that?

What she even done for him? Well, she actually never insulted him, not as much as he did. In fact, she indeed complimented him, she once called him smart. She stole these books from her elder. Despite of it, he could say she done it for herself, yet not actually. She immediately ran to him afterwards, she didn't had to, yet she did. What he got her in exchange? Humiliating. Even that bandage, which he still kept onto his shoulder, that was one of reasons. She helped him, she could just let him be, smile at his pain, yet she didn't. He really was indeed for her like Grimora, not otherwise.

What woke him up from his thoughts was his stomach, despite of not eating whole night, already hungry. He sighed, knowing what he was about to do. He stood up, but while doing so he changed into his dragon form. Strong push of his wings took him over cove, another one above trees. His target was unknown even for him. As a hunter, he might today please himself with tasty deer, maybe rabbit or twos. Eventually, he made up his mind, steering himself into direction of ocean. He dived into it, but that way he was gliding just above surface. His eyes were into slits, focusing onto theirs surroundings, looking with his claws for theirs victim. Just then, even more thought encircled his head.

That girl, what even was her name? Great, he doesn't even know, well... neither she did his. She was... different from hers own. While every human, he ever seen, was rather strong, then also foolish, she was opposite. She was intelligent, watching her train he could say she was creative, unconfident about herself, but then fighting that thoughts. He could remind himself that first time, when she told him, she was useless. Time, when she was willing to let go of living. For him, suicide was most cowardly and disgusting thing in whole world. Killing yourself, thinking that it would free you from yours problems. Escaping them, but then he understood her in that.

There was times, when he himself thought such bad ideas. There was days, he thought, he shouldn't be living, that he was most horrid thing that happened in dragon race. Days like that, would end up with him almost losing it. Even so, he fought that thoughts, and she should as well. He never wished her death, actually. Well, he wanted kill her, but afterwards no more. Yes, he threatened her with death, but he would never done so. Yes, he would call her from worst, but now he really regretted it. Yes, he didn't deserved forgiveness, but maybe she would actually forgive him, somehow?

When strong wave of water finally shot his nostrils, his eyes suddenly catch view and registered what was happening around them. He surely likely missed at last three flock of fish. He turned his body rapidly, directing himself into come back. By way, he occasionally dived his snout into water, catching in it suitable amount of fish. Within moment, he was able to feed his stomach, fulfilling it completely. Looking down into surface of water, there was his reflection in it, he flinched at it, tighten his eyes and took his sight from it, focusing forward. But, who would forgive such monster as him?

Around noon he became sleepy, he pushed his wings and body towards bench, at which he hang himself onto. When he was about to get himself into slumber, his ears heard snap somewhere nearby. He immediately opened his eyes in ready, growled in way to frighten income. He calmed seeing familiar girl, rather anxious about being here. He felt bad at that sight, knowing she would rather not being here. In hers hands he could notice some material, or wrappings, or...

"I brin' yer clothes, turtleneck. I promised, I would. I actually sew them myself, so yer don't have again to think, I stole them from my own." She exclaimed rather harshly, reminding him of his own mean words. He felt now much ashamed about them. "Also cloak. Yer seems to like them much."

"It's giving me feeling of wings. It's making me calmer."

"Alright." The silence remained between them. She walked towards nearby stone, with sigh escaping hers mouth. He avoided hers eyes, but when she didn't looked, he couldn't help, but to follow hers steps with his sight. She placed bunch of garment over it, catching them swiftly, when they started slide through stone in direction of ground. Confident, that they wouldn't now, she turned to entrance. "I guess it's all. I-I just should go."

She started walking away. He tighten his teeth, now staring into hers direction. Don't let him regret it. "Wait!" He called after her, letting go the hold of his tail. She turned to him, surprised much, now staring onto dragon before her. He turned into human, like to show her his good intentions. He scratched his hair, in way to show his uncomfortable. "Maybe, maybe you would like to stay, for moment? We could have talk, a little?"

Giggling at his sudden and much surprising outburst, she smiled, trying to cover with his palm hers giggles. "If yer would like so, I might." She stood in place, waiting for him to do something, but he was speechless. He looked into ground, trying to force himself into words, yet he couldn't. "What if we start with checking these clothes? I made them, unaware of yers size."

He glanced at her, and nodded, shamed about his lack of communication. Approaching hers brings, he started to take off his own clothes. Hiccup immediately turned away, now red on whole face, embarrassed much. She could feel hers cheeks boil from hotness. "What are you doing?" Why was he sounding confused?!

"Yer are undressing yerself before me! Yer can't do that!"

"Why not? It was hard time for me, to even understood why you're wearing these strange furs-"

"To keep us warm."

"Where have you been, when I needed that information?" He shouted ironically. "Anyway, why you're so ashamed by dressing yourself before others?"

"Okay... d-don't yer dragons hide yers...reproductive organs?" While saying that, she shivered uncomfortable. She tightened hers eye, like he would see hers nervousness anyway.

"Isn't it way to show if it's male or female? Besides, it's not like that we show them, they're covered by scales." He said that, such confident, she could tell he wasn't bothered by that theme. "Humans are ashamed of theirs bodies?"

"I-it's not like that! Just... s-showing someone these body parts are like invitation! Yer can't do like that!"

"Invitation? For what?"

"M-matin'? That's how yer call it?"

"How?"

She bitted hers lip in puzzlement. "W-well, lookin' at those, is makin' us-" She breathed loudly, clapped hers palms in praying manner. "Lookin' at it gave us feelin'."

"Looking at them makes you horny?" Hiccup squeaked, when he told so, nodding hers whole head, so he would notice that. "Okay then, why you're so ashamed by that? Animals feel that feelin' as well, you know?"

"Humans don't speak at such themes so loudly!"

"Fine. Maybe, let's change theme then."

She felt relieved by that, she let go breath of hers lungs. "There was question around my mind lately. I'm actually much surprised I didn't asked earlier. What is yers name?"

There was silence from him, she rolled hers eyes about that. That was such hard question? "Dragons don't actually have names." There was little gasp that escaped hers lips, she could feel he took his gaze from her. "Since, we are more likely communicating by one words sentences, we didn't needed those."

"Then how yer would call each other?"

"By focusing ours gaze at them. It's not complicated."

"Very well then. Yer never thought about givin' yerself name then?"

"I'm not person which should done such things. Names are more likely given, that shouldn't be made by me."

"Then, I could name yer?"

"If you want so." There was sound of trashing around behind hers back, then lightly pushing, showing her that he was indeed ending. "I think you can look now."

When she turned, she gasped slightly, hers sight focused at him. Turtleneck she made for him was almost perfect, cloak which was now hanging from one arm, leaving another one free. It was covering only half of his body, but she could name it as shield, which would be held with one arm. In difference to turtleneck, cloak was brown leathered, but in darker shade so it wouldn't be much lighter. "It suits yer as I see."

"Thank you. It really indeed suits." Her sight catch something around his neck, something she never noticed, hanging low against his chest. Dragon tooth attached to necklace. Seeing hers stare, he instantly held onto it. She could see, he wasn't much happy about it.

"What is-"

"It doesn't matter. Even so, I don't want to talk about it."

"Fine. I'm just... curious... it's yers or-"

"It's not mine."

"That means yer made someone toothless."

He looked at her annoyed about hers indeed bad joke, he rolled his eyes. "I made someone toothless."

She giggled, then mysterious smirk came at hers face. "Yer made dragon, toothless. I noticed from my five years old experience that Night Furies have reattached teeth. Yer are Toothless. I'm naming yer."

He looked at her, his eyes almost not visible from his eyelids. He snored. "Seriously? Toothless? You just named one of most dangerous dragons... Toothless?"

"Why not?"

"There are much of reasons why not."

"Then, name yerself."

"I can't. I told your that already."

"Then yer see. I have named yer Toothless."

He sighed, she crossed hers arms in victory, smiling victoriously alike. "Okay, but then what is your name then?"

"Hiccup."

"Why yours Viking names are such terrible?"

"Parents believe a hideous name will frighten off gnomes and trolls."

"And my name have to be as well?" She nodded furiously. "Fine. But, I don't like it."

"I know. Yer love it."

She smiled brightly and thankfully as he took notice. It was for him always strange seeing people smiling with theirs teeth. He never understood much things about them, about humans. He understood theirs will of fighting, creating weapons, but theirs face expressions? Never. Reason why he kept being cold faced, he didn't knew how to express other emotions. Even so, he took is as challenge. He tried angle his mouth in way to show her smile, bright smile, but in hers seeing it looked like cutest, yet most awkward smile she ever saw. Giggle escaped hers mouth, but as well she smiled to him. Then, hers eyes catch something behind his back. She went forward, avoiding standing young adult, but while doing so, she turned for moment, going backwards, in way to show him to follow. At first he wasn't sure of doing so, but then it might be test she was making for him. And he wasn't going to fail it.

He rushed to her, then he saw her sitting down by field of flowers. As well as she, he sat up, his sight kept at her. He couldn't help, but to stare at hers hands. They were taking one flower after another, knotting them alike. There was moment, when she couldn't even reach flower anymore, then he would start passing them, getting from her thankful smile. Finishing hers doings, she showed him hers creation. It looked like crown... flower crown. She placed it onto hers head, then glanced at him, like asking about hers look. He yet again smiled awkwardly, but he couldn't not to notice how happily she looked. It gave him strange, rather new warm feeling.

She carefully took it from hers head, immediately in will to put it onto his own. At first, he flinched, rather unwilling about it, but seeing her saddened expression he let her do so. She almost jumped at his permission, her hands put a little flower crown onto his head. At first he didn't knew how should he behave with it. He was confused and puzzled, but seeing hers satisfaction he might understood that's because of it. He slowly took it, in manner to take it off, accidentally destroying it. He made towards her apologies eyes, she just shrugged her shoulders and sighed, showing him there wasn't nothing wrong about it.

Just then, she stood up, in way to change theirs location again. This time, was that boulder just over lake. From it, there was much pretty view over it whole. Hiccup turned around towards his direction, inviting him to join her. He walked over, then looked down at hers legs. She was sitting, but then it looked such strange. Unnaturally. They were placed one onto another. Knotted? Crossed? He saw such view not once, himself tried doing such thing, he was really close to it, but it would end up with one crossed leg and another straight.

He tried mimic her, sitting up he forced his legs into position hers alike. She would look at him with widen eyes as he done so. Eventually he would lost balance, his body would slide from rock, sending him into cold water. Hiccup rushed towards edge of stone, glancing at water underneath her, with worry streaming at her. When he finally broke onto surface, standing onto his legs, because of obviously shallow water. She couldn't hold herself anymore, she bursted into laughs. He would change himself into dragons form, with his wing sending water onto her, making laugh alike sounds. Surprised by that, accidentally, she send hers body into water as well.

When theirs little fun ended, both now sinking with water, Hiccup sat by and made little fireplace, with his little help of Night Fury's famous plasm blast. Finally setting herself, hers eyes snapped at something interesting. She reached for it with hers hand. Getting object into hers hands, stick nonetheless, she started with it dig alike into ground. He tilted his muzzle from interest, went towards her and surprised by what he saw. It looked like him! How she done that?! He tried again tilting himself, wondering if it would as well, like with water reflection, but it wouldn't! He closed, his nose sniffed it, but then getting sand into nose, he sneezed, destroying it. When he did so, he stepped back, looking at Hiccup apologies alike. She shook hers head, then swiftly fixed it.

He stared when she did so, then idea came into his mind. He might do that as well! Hiccup then felt, that his presence vanished. Turning to see what he was doing, she couldn't help, but to at first look be astonished, then amazed. On his two dragon legs, he kept himself upright, with large branch in his mouth. With it, he draw across whole place, just around her. She followed his every move with hers sight. Moment in which he accidentally smack hers head with branch was remained silent about, as he was now too much focused on his task. When he finished, he looked at her proudly, she couldn't help, but to roll hers eyes at it.

She tried to step forward, to look over his masterpiece from another angle. While doing so, she accidentally stepped onto it, getting in return his gnarl, with frightening expression of eyes in slits and showed teeth. She flinched immediately, but didn't had to be told twice, took hers foot of it, immediately making him puppy alike. She smiled, knowing what she had to do. With hers every movement, she avoided stepping on it. He stared at it, thankfully that she respected his drawing.

Eventually, when she was sure it was all, she felt by hers back familiar presence. Turning, she was met with intensively green eyes, staring at her. Nervousness about it, she turned halfway, staring now onto lake yet again. Seeing hers distress, he knew what he should done now. With his whole muzzle, he poked her, making her alert. She glanced at him, and was motionless. Keeping his eyes shut, he bring his head closer her. Did he just let her...? She smiled, hers palm got closer as well, but in halfway it flinched. Getting hers confidence back, she finally placed it onto his snout, closing hers eyes while doing so. After mere moment, when she opened them again, he still remained with closed. She smirked, then rapidly took hers hand and started scratch him underneath chin.

His eyes snapped opened, slits in them. "Know yours limits."

"Sorry." She took them off, crossing hers arms in uncomfortable manner. He avoided hers look, but reason wasn't much known by her, while truth is he wanted hardly hide how much pleasant it felt. Eventually, when he glanced at her yet again, she smiled, and exclaimed.

"Thank you for trusting me."

"Well, then thank you for letting me do so."
