Izzy

Adrenaline, but not the good kind, rushed through her body the moment her eyes opened. It was followed by absolute terror that shook her to the core. Both were washed away with Jasper's soothing touch. She dragged her eyes away from the cracked window, meeting his golden gaze.

"Does it bother you, that we are more than one person?" She asked him.

His eyes never moved from hers, and it seemed like he was studying her.

"Honestly." She added, a touch of impatience rushing through her.

She hated being lied to in a stupid attempt to spare her feelings.

"At first, yes," He admitted, his voice gentle but honest, "I was bothered by it. I had never seen anything as… in depth as your case; even my 'Major' persona never developed thoughts or emotions of its own."

He paused, his lips turning down.

"I wanted to get to know you – as Ilyssa, I mean. I don't have Edward's gift of telepathy, so with each alter that showed themselves, it was like starting over… except they had an intimate knowledge of who I was due to your gift."

"So, it was frustrating." Izzy said quietly, lowering her eyes.

He reached out, tipping her chin up and drawing her eyes back to his.

"Incredibly frustrating." He chuckled, and leaned forward, kissing her.

"However," He said as he pulled back. "As I got to know each of you, I discovered a slight variant in your emotions. It is very slight, but it's there. For example, Isla's emotions are 'softer' than yours, and Ash's tend to be 'brighter', whilst Sylas' are less complex. Dolan's are somehow muted, whilst Onyx's are by far the 'darkest'. And Eden's switch rapidly between each other."

He kissed the tip of Izzy's nose, making her smile.

"Therefore, Izzy, despite not having Edward's mind reading abilities, I am more than capable of discerning who I'm speaking to."

"Although having mind reading abilities are probably more enjoyable." Edward said, and Izzy felt the bed shift behind her as he slid into it.

She leaned back into his arms, pulling Jasper closer to her so they were both pressed against her in a shield of chill.

"You don't know how it feels when I do this." Jasper replied, leaning forward, and pressing his lips against hers.

She obliged when she felt his tongue swipe across her bottom lip, practically melting when it brushed against her own. She was going to be a puddle of goo if he kept that up.

"Yeah? Well, you don't hear the thoughts that go on in her head when I tease her like this."

Edward wrapped his arms around her waist, drawing slow circles just above her waistband as he nuzzled the sweet spot just below her ear. His words ignited a series of images that lit a fire in her lower abdomen.

"Mm, but can you do this?" Jasper murmured against her lips.

That was all the warning she received before pure pleasure shot through her veins. It wasn't enough to make her lose her sanity, but she still felt the overwhelming desire to touch him, for him to touch her.

Edward's hand slipped downwards, but the moment she felt even the inkling of panic, desire once again pulsed through her. He had slipped his fingers under her shorts, brushing over the smooth skin there, before he paused.

"Do you want to do this?" He asked softly.

Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes? No. No! Majority rules.

Edward hummed against her neck, sucking hard enough to leave a bruise. His tongue soothed away the pain. His hand never strayed lower, his fingers circling over the top of her private area.

Jasper continued to kiss her, only pausing for her to breathe. The sensations soon became too much and, combined with Jasper's desire still pumping through her, she felt something she'd never felt before.

As her head fell back on Edward's shoulder, a gasp leaving her lips, Jasper moved down her neck with kisses and nibbles. Her stomach was tightening, her thighs tensing. Her heart was racing faster and faster, her skin feeling hot.

A pool of warmth was gathering in her abdomen. It was then that one of Edward's fingers slipped down, brushing between her folds, and circling the little nub at the top twice. An explosion wracked her body, both vampires having the foresight to pull away their teeth as she writhed against them.

"Oh, oh." She moaned, spreading her legs instinctively as Edward continued to circle the nub.

And even after her heartrate had slowed, he continued to gently touch her, and she didn't mind. Eden and Dolan had settled after they realized that Edward wasn't going to hurt them.

"I've never…" She trailed off, her face heating up.

"You did beautifully." Jasper murmured, meeting her eyes.

She smiled shyly, lowering her gaze. Unbidden, from the back of her mind, a memory sprung forth.

'You're so beautiful.' Her father murmured, his hips meeting hers with every second that passed.

She was weak, far too weak to push him off, and even if she managed, the punishment would be worse than this. Her mother stood in the corner, a cold smile on her face.

'Look at her, the little whore. She's enjoying this!'

"No!" Izzy gasped, tearing herself away from them.

From downstairs, she heard boisterous laughter as their family returned home. She was a horrible protector. Eden had said 'no', hadn't she? And yet Izzy had gone and allowed them to continue.

Dolan… poor Dolan had been forced to endure yet another case of nonconsensual sexual acts.

Guilt rushed through her, followed quickly by shame. She had failed them. They trusted her, and she had utterly ripped that trust apart.

"Izzy, no." Edward said, coming towards her.

He stopped when she flinched back.

"I'm sorry." She whispered, but to them, or to the ones she'd betrayed, she wasn't sure. "So sorry…"

Ash

He stood in the body Izzy had frantically vacated, pulled from the recesses of the mind. He was silent, staring blankly at the wall behind Jasper, as his fellow alters reacted to what Izzy had done.

Except Izzy wasn't the only one to blame. He had wanted it as much as she did.

"Is she going to be okay?" Jasper asked softly.

Ash glanced at him.

"I don't know." He replied, his voice just as quiet as Jasper's. "Dolan and Eden are… well, they're bloody pissed, as they should be. Izzy shouldn't have – "

He broke off as Izzy screamed, Of course I'm the one being blamed when you all wanted it.

A spike of pain shot through Ash's head, and his hand flew up.

I said 'no'! How oblivious can you fuckin' be? Eden shouted back.

And I suppose our lives should have to revolve around what you want, right? Izzy screamed.

"Isla." Ash whispered, and he felt the trembling girl look up.

He quickly withdrew from the body, pushing her forward. On the large screen in their mind, he saw her sit down heavily, covering her face with her hands. He then turned to the others.

Eden and Izzy were still screaming at each other, whilst Sylas was sitting in the corner in Onyx's arms, tears streaming down the young boy's face. Dolan watched apathetically.

"That's enough!" Ash shouted, stomping forward, and shoving the girls apart.

"Izzy, this is not your fault. Most of us agreed with your decision." He said to the blue-haired girl before he spun on the dark-haired girl, meeting her cold glare.

"Eden… I apologize. We never should have gone forward without yours and Dolan's consents, regardless of 'majority rules'. You are both important and valid members of this system, and it was wrong of us to ignore your inputs."

He looked down, ashamed.

"I agree." Eden's harsh tone had softened somewhat, but there was still betrayal in her eyes.

Izzy sighed, stepping up to Ash's side.

"I'm sorry. I shouldn't have ignored either of you… I feel horrible." She whispered, and turned away, sitting down on the couch, and pulling her legs up to her chest. "I-I just wanted us to be… normal. Most girls wouldn't shy away from two attractive guys that she loved. I thought that if they showed us that sex could be pleasurable, we could…"

She trailed off, burying her face into her knees.

"Healing won't happen overnight." Onyx cut in from the corner.

Ash glanced at her, but she was looking down at Sylas, who had finally fallen asleep in her arms.

"Not to mention that our fight caused Isla to have to Front without being ready." Eden said quietly, lighting up a blunt she had conjured from somewhere.

She offered it to Dolan, who silently took a few hits before handing it back. Ash looked at the screen.

"I'm going to have one hell of a headache when I go back now." Ash said, a hint of amusement in his voice.

Izzy smiled at him, while Eden scoffed.

"Hell, I'll go out. I should probably talk with our boys anyways." She said, handing to blunt to Izzy, who nodded in thanks.

Ash walked to the screen, tapping on it twice to give Isla enough time to prepare herself before he reached through and took her hand, pulling her into the mind just as Eden jumped through.

"Ow, that was a nightmare." Isla said, rubbing her forehead.

She then joined Izzy on the couch. Ash met Dolan's eyes, returning the subtle nod.

Everything was fine… for now.

Eden

She stared at the two vampires silently for a long moment, and they remained quiet, obviously waiting for her to speak. She knew that they were monitoring her thoughts and emotions, respectively. She would have had to be an idiot to not think that.

She also knew that whatever she did or said next would determine what kind of relationship she would have with them.

The laughter downstairs made it harder for her to think, and she really didn't want the others to hear this conversation.

"Take me home." She said, lowering her eyes.

Edward held out his arms, his face neutral. She didn't want to be close to them at the moment, but she knew that was the fastest way. Trying to keep herself from shaking, she entered his arms for perhaps the last time.

Jasper followed them as Edward jumped from the window, racing through the forest. It felt like only minutes before they were standing in Ilyssa's bedroom. Eden stepped away from them, distancing herself physically in hopes that it would help do so mentally.

Her fingers twitched, longing for something to distract them – namely, a smoke – but she resisted. She caught sight of herself in one of the few mirrors in the house, her jaw clenching at the familiar unfamiliarity of her reflection.

She pulled her shirt over her head. Her pajama pants joined it on the floor. She felt her emotions dim as she stood there, half-naked. If she concentrated, she could probably hear the others wondering what the hell she was doing.

"Eden-?"

She held up her hand, and Jasper broke off, looking uncertain. She drew up all of her courage, and reached back, unclipping her bra, and allowing it to fall to the floor. Her fingers trembled as she looped them under the waistband of her underwear, but she forced herself to continue, pulling the dark cloth down, and stepping out of them.

She stood there, completely naked, her eyes fixed on a spot behind their heads.

"Is this what you want, then?" She asked, her voice startingly dull.

She couldn't afford to have emotions at the moment. Edward stepped towards her, and her eyes snapped to his. He froze, a pained expression on his face. She held her arms out to her sides.

"Go ahead." She encouraged, ice settling in her veins.

It was better for them to get it over with now, before her and the others really became attached. Neither of them moved, or spoke, their strange eyes watching her. Their gazes never strayed from her face.

"What? You only want us when we don't consent?"

The ice in her veins bled to her voice, and Edward flinched. Tears burned the back of her eyes, but she refused to let them even form. She was done crying – especially over people that cared more about their pleasure than her mental well-being.

"That is not true." Edward said, stepping towards her again, this time with fire in his eyes.

"You have a great way of showing it." She replied, the coldness inside of her just becoming more treacherous the longer it remained. "Why are you two even here? Did your vampire daddy order you to help the broken girl, so he wouldn't take away your immortality?"

"Nobody is forcing us to be here." Jasper put in, his eyes narrowing at her.

She threw up her hands.

"Fuckin' leave, then! For fuck's sake; you haven't been helping us at all. Isla has regressed, Izzy and Ash are becoming fuckin' dependent on you and your family, Sylas is already becoming too attached, Dolan is worse off now that he has your traumatic memories to deal with, and Onyx is reverting to their old ways of coping." She shouted, the ice turning to fire as anger rushed through her. "And now more fuckin' vampires have found us because your inability to leave humanity the hell alone!"

That was it. They would leave now, and Eden would be responsible for destroying the one good thing they have ever had. She destroyed everything she touched.

"We are not leaving." Edward said, his voice hard. "Even if you hate us, there are six others who don't."

She lowered her gaze, feeling quite shameful now, standing there in the nude.

"Why did you ignore me?" She whispered, staring at his shoes. "I-I felt like I was trapped, unable to stop you from – " She broke off, her vision blurring as tears sprung unbidden to her eyes.

Edward crossed the room, touching his fingers to her chin and lifting her eyes to his.

"I never should have continued, Eden, and I apologize." He admitted, bowing his head.

Jasper moved forward as well, touching her arm.

"And I'm sorry as well, darlin'. I lost control of my gift for a moment, and that may have influenced Red's decision." He murmured.

Eden smiled at the nickname, softening under their touch.

"I don't hate either of you… I just – I don't want to feel powerless. I don't want to go back to that place." She whispered, wrapping her arms around both of their waists.

"Uh – oh, you may want to put on clothes, if you don't want to go anywhere with this."

Jasper laughed, and she flushed from head to toe, smiling a bit when Edward smacked his arm.
