Ruby was casually strolling through the town after a day at Signal Academy when she spotted a dust store nearby and went to look at their collection. Whilst casually browsing and listening to her music she found a magazine rack dedicated to weapons causing her to get excited and proceeded to ignore everything around her in her studies. What she failed to see was a red head in a white coat robbing the place with his goons, it wasn't long before one of them noticed the girl in red reading with her headphones on. As he went up to her with his gun drawn and he raised his hand to touch her she vanished before him.

When the world stopped spinning around her, Ruby slowly sat up from her spot on the floor looking around to see a lot of people in the same position as her. Blinking her eyes she spotted someone in a very familiar white hooded cape, blinking the tears that started to build in her eyes.

'This has to be a dream, why else would mom be laying on the floor?' Ruby thought as it became harder to see and process what was going on around her as she wrapped her arms around her knees staring at her mother.

"Ruby?" Turning her head she could make out a yellow blob starting to make her way towards her clearly distressed sister.

"What's the matter Rubes?" All the redhead had in response was to wipe her tears and point towards the pile of people, "Mom."

Yang looked towards the many people laying a few feet away from them and clearly made out some figures that she both did and did not know. Standing on shaking legs she made her way towards the pile and kneeled down shaking the sleeping redhead.

"Mom….Mom wake up. How are you here?" By the third or fourth shake Summer Rose woke with a gasp and looked around until she spotted the gold hair teen kneeling next to her.

"Who are you?" Summer asked, causing the two awake to gasp and in Ruby's cry more in despair.

"It's me Yang your….daughter." Yang said with hesitancy glancing at Ruby in the corner of the room.

"I am sorry I think you have the wrong person. I don't have any kids." The older redhead said, glancing sadly at the younger crying further away.

"Ok, well I guess we should wake everyone else up so we can hopefully get an answer on what is happening." Yang sighed glancing sadly around while walking up to her father and started shaking him awake.

After a few minutes the two managed to wake up everyone and calm down Ruby enough for her to become a part of the group. Once everyone was awake there was a ringing in their ears as a screen appeared in the middle of the room allowing everyone to see it.

Dear Guests,

I am Teal, and I would like to show you the future in the form of a tv show. I apologize for dragging you all here but everyone here is a key member in shaping the future that will have happened in a few days time for some of you and years later for the rest.

"So we are here to see the future, interesting." Said Mercury as he smirked with his fellow villains.

"So who is the near future referring to and who is the far?" Asked a confused Blake as she glanced at all the unfamiliar faces around her, only recognizing a couple she had seen in passing.

"Well based on what I've seen so far I would say my team and I are from the farther past than everyone else." Summer said sadly glancing at the two girls who awoke first.

To the Rose and Xiao Long girls, I am sorry to bring up your past with bringing your mother here but please understand she must know this to help.

Sighing Yang slung her arm around Ruby as everyone glanced at them, especially Tai and Summer who were both blushing at the thought of conceiving together.

As for the immortal beings here please either tell your predicaments now or suffer when it is shown later on.

This caused many to look around confused, before Ozpin sighed drawing attention to himself. Salem just smirked watching everyone turn on the man.

"I will tell you the message is referring to me and one other in the room and that is all I'm willing to share at the moment." He sighed

As for the young farmhand I am truly sorry to bring you, especially when you have no relevance until way later in the story but you must learn the past to help your future.

"That would be me." Oscar said softly with a sigh.

Ozpin became slightly interested in the young man who had no relevance for a while, 'why would they bring someone who has no immediate impact on what is happening?' he thought while silently sipping from his mug, that came out of nowhere.

On those notes please refrain from attacking each other or I will have to resort to drastic measures.

This got a huff from the more fighting types in the room, and a sigh of relief from the more passive types.

Food and water will be provided just walk up to the table in the back and think of a food or beverage, restrooms are in the connected rooms by the screen. As for sleep, there are rooms connected around this one for everyone. I have paired everyone with whom I thought would get along until you guys wish for a change after seeing the things that happen.

Many glanced around at this seeing they were in a square room with a long table in the back for said food and drinks. On either side of the table was a restroom separated by gender. Along the other three walls was doors with nameplates next to them in their sorting order.

That is all from me. Please use this opportunity to learn to help the future and if you wish to introduce yourselves please use your full titles and or heritage, parents if you wish, to get better acquainted you will be here a long while. In case your worried time freezes when I use my projection semblance.

"So I guess we should introduce ourselves so we can get to know each other like they asked us too." Tai said, gathering everyone's attention with his bright personality and charisma.

"I am Taiyang Xiao Long, a member of team STRQ at Beacon."

"So that's why mom didn't recognize us, they are from our past." Yang said sadly, looking between her parents and younger sister. This caused many to glance between the three with frowns.

"Summer Rose, leader of team STRQ." Summer said with a small smile as she glanced at her team who were lucky to come with her for this.

"Mom was the leader of her team!" Ruby exclaimed with stars in her eyes as she looked up to her mother slowly getting better from the shock of earlier, making Summer blush whilst glancing around to avoid the eyes of those looking at her.

"Raven Branwen, member of STRQ." The dark haired girl said, making Yang look at her with interest, instantly thinking about her mother.

"Qrow Branwen, the best member of team STRQ." He winked causing many to snicker at his attempt to lighten the mood in the room. He smiled at making the sad young redhead finally smile more.

"The name's Yang Xiao Long. I'll be starting Beacon this year." Yang stated proudly as she once again slung an arm around her little sister and pointed a thumb at herself smiling.

"Wait, You called me mom but you have the name Xiao Long. Does that really mean we…we you know?" Summer stated curiously while getting really blushy and shy as she continued the thought.

"Oh, um no you and dad got together after I was born," She glanced down playing with her hair trying to not be obvious with the glances towards Raven.

"Ruby Rose and I'm still attending Signal Academy." Ruby said, glancing at her father and uncle who don't even know her, making her sigh sadly once again.

"So if I am not your mom and you have Tai's name how are the two of you related if you don't mind me asking?" Summer asked, looking between the two trying to find any similarities.

"We have the same dad…but different moms." Ruby said, glancing at her parents who got super red. This also caused Qrow to back away glancing at his teammates who apparently all hooked up around him.

"Weiss Schnee heiress to the Schnee company and starting Beacon this year as well." The white haired girl continued after a few moments of silence.

"Blake Belladonna, faunus and starting Beacon this year." She said with glare at anyone who tried to make a comment on her faunus status, especially the heiress currently glaring at her.

"Lie Ren and Nora Valkyrie and we will be attending Beacon this year also." Nora stated loudly as she danced around Ren on seeming endless energy causing the boy to sigh and try to rein his friend in.

"Pyrrha Nikos, I will also be going to Beacon this year."

"You're the girl that won the Mistral Regional Tournament three years in a row!" Weiss stated pointing to the redhead. Many astonished gasps followed as they all stared at the girl in awe making her look down sadly. She wanted to avoid this if possible.

"Jaune Arc and I will be going to Beacon."

This caused Ozpin to raise a slight brow; he didn't remember seeing any recommendations for a Jaune Arc in his papers. 'This will be an interesting year no doubt.' he thought with a smile looking at the boy and the young silver eyed girl.

"Oscar Pine, I am just a farmhand helping my aunt on the farm in Mistral."

"Cinder Fall."

"Emerald Sustrai."

"Mercury Black."

"That's all you're going to give us?" Ren said, looking suspiciously at the three of them as they just smirked back at him.

"General James Ironwood, Military General and Headmaster at Atlas."

"Ozpin Headmaster of Beacon."

"Salem."

Now that that is done, I wish to thank you all for cooperating with me on this. The future I wish to avoid is a very sad and hard one to bear. There will be death and war. Are you prepared to bear witness to the world that needs to change?

Yes No

Finally gathering her courage Ruby walked close to the screen and glanced at those around her. Many had uneasy looks on their faces but no out right rejections were voiced so she lightly tapped the Yes. The room was then pitch black and in the middle of the room a bright white moon appeared and the words Red Trailer appeared in red font over the moon.
