This is a Tailsko fic. Female Tails fic ahead! You've been warned!
I kinda picked the trend up from DeviantArt. And I kinda liked the idea of a female Tails and Shadow doing stuff together. Shadow being my favorite sonic character and tails being my second favorite I realized I should write a fic of them together. And with the Tailsko trend it felt like now was the appropriate time. I just like the idea of Shadow being with the sidekick characters. While Sega sees Shadow as a heartless edgelord, I see him as a compassionate loaner. Sure, he can be heartless but only in the renegade hero sense who thinks about greater good.
Anyway, don't forget to check out my Shadow x Sticks fic if you haven't already.
Tails slowly stirred in his sleep. Bit by bit, sensations were returning to him. Sounds of hissing and humming, a light beaming down on him; the sensation of a cold flat surface on his back. He wanted to rub his head and ease an ache but the feeling of something holding his hands in place wouldn't let him. He lifted his head as far as he could. It was a little dark around him but that changed as soon as more lights came on. Was he in a lab? An operating room?
"Excellent!" An ecstatic voice grated at his head, "You're awake. I can begin tests immediately. I apologize, of course, for your current predicament. Had to enlist chemical restraints to avoid subjects straining, staff harm; the likes. You are quite feisty for a little guy." The female voice was accompanied by a rather fuzzy looking fox. Her fur was spiky like she'd been shocked too many times. "You must be feeling nauseous. And thirsty. I applied saline to compensate for thirst. Nausea. Nausea. What will help? Metoclopramide? No, treats heartburn. No heartburn, no need. Droperidol? Yes, possible… mmm, maybe too much anesthetic applied. Might stop the heart. Wait, no! Dehydration causes headaches, nausea follows, drugs not necessary. Should clear up in an hour." The doctor droned on for her next step until in turned into nonsensical ramblings and mumblings Tails couldn't understand. His mouth did feel dry though. But looking at his right arm he did see that he had an IV attached to a single bag. Another line was prepared but not used.
"Ah, I forgot. I'm putting through molecular manipulation, should reduce the number of alterations to body as possible. Saline alone will have to do. Maybe should have used lactated ringers. Hmm." She turned and faced him, hand behind her back then bent over and looked him in the eyes. "Can you hear me?"
Tails finally gathered enough bearings to speak. "What's going on, where am I?"
"Oh, yes, I forget. Sometimes subjects forget where they are after coming off of anesthesia. This is my lab. Specifically, operating room ten. Floor and location, no concern. It would benefit you to know, however, you are my subject, and I am the doctor. Your were best candidate for molecular redesign theory. You have two tails, abnormality by most reports. I plan to remove one of your tails through redesigning molecules. Then put it back. let you go. Should take only a moment. No time for consent. Had to be done now."
"What?" Tails had mixed feelings. He was glad to hear he wouldn't be here long but if things went wrong… "Wait, hold on…"
"No, can't hold on," She argued as she was frantically messing with equipment and attaching or detaching chords. "No time. Other subject requiring attention. Better to just… get this over with." She nodded and moved his table into position.
The change of gravity was nauseating at first but with the quickly adjusting senses as drugs wore off, Tails was finally understanding his situation. A large ray gun looking machine was positioned over his head. Tails became nervous by the minute.
"Hang on, can we talk about this?" Tails asked, "Think about what your doing! Altering life at the molecular level could end badly in a trillion different ways. Cancer being the least of my worries!"
She paused. "Cancer, didn't account for that. Log, please create separate notes for possible cancer results due to molecular alterations." There was a blip and a robotic voice affirmed that it had done so. "Thank you, fox."
Tails sighed and dropped his head. "Not what I meant… Look, I don't know who you are, but I'm begging you. Don't do this!"
"Has to be done. Only way for the world to know if molecular medicine can exist. Apologies for any pain you may endure… Have… plans should the wort come."
"Being?" Tails' heart bounced and it started beating so hard it hurt.
She didn't answer the question, but she replied as to comfort him as best as she could. "Likelihood of the worst is too small. No accounting required. Changes, if adverse should only be physical and painless. Pain is not likely. Ready to proceed." She turned and left in a fast walk.
"Wait. Wait!" Tails shouted, "Come on, please, we don't have to do this! Why can't you try this on a lab rat or something!"
Her voice replied over a speaker. "Lab rats used already. They don't talk. Require verbal communication to understand feelings. Highly discourage movement. Could make the alterations…messy."
Tails froze as machine powered up and began to hum louder. Lights on the ray blinked in a pattern and only blinked faster as the hum became louder. It charged. Tails tensed and closed his eyes then looked away. Everything tensed and he braced for the worst. The beam hit him and suddenly things began to slow down. He felt warm, kind of tingly. He felt himself stretched and compress painlessly. It was odd. Actually, kind of enjoyable. Tails told himself it actually wasn't so bad. He felt relieved actually. In fact, this was kind of fun in way. But then he felt things return to normal and the high started to wear off. He opened his eyes and saw the same old white lab around him as well as the machine retracting.
"Oh… well…" The doctor sounded surprised. "Well, that's not what I expected. Log, record setting of the manipulator and results. Seems we removed the wrong tail…"
"Wrong tail?" Tails asked aloud to himself. His voice was different. VERY different. It was higher pitched. So that was one change. But after looking down. He realized the changes were a lot more pronounced than that. "Huh…? What the—!" Tails had a thinner, feminine frame and a more pronounced chest. He wasn't just feminine… he was female! "What happened?! You said you removing a tail not… not this!" Tails turned a bright red. The newly acquired female body was jarring mentally. Sure, it felt normal, but the new release of hormones made things feel different. Tails was becoming more emotional. "Change me back!"
"Hmm, not so simple. Settings must be altered. Calculations could take weeks. It seems I made a few errors. Altered your chromosomes, not your molecules… fascinating. Running scans… very fascinating. You are fully female. All organs, bone structure, hormonal releases, all match within natural female averages. Amazing discovery. Should record and keep handy. But not my goal. Will try again next week."
"What?! But you said this would take a moment! Change me back now!" Tails screamed.
The doctor cleared her throat awkwardly. "Ah… yes… a moment is an unspecified time signature. To a year, a week is a moment. To century, ten years is a moment. I think in… long term goals. A week therefore is a moment. Patience required. Thank you. Your very cute though, make a great female. How do you feel?"
"Wrong!" Tails pouted, "Very wrong. Like I'm doing something just wrong!"
"What your feeling is shame. Parents taught you well. Very insensible thing to peek on women. But you are a women now, should not feel bad now. Not to worry. You will get used to the change. Might even start thinking like a female. Shame no longer a problem. Alterations will be made. Perhaps I can change your species as well. Require you stay a moment longer."
There was that word again. But whatever was happening in her little mind Tails wanted no part in it. He, or she really, just wanted to go back to normal. Or die. Right now, dying wouldn't be so bad. This was embarrassing. If anyone figured out… Tails shuttered and groaned to herself. She'd never be able to face anyone again. Even if she returned to being a male.
Suddenly the room rumbled, and an audible explosion caught their attention. The doctor looked around. "Oh dear." She started tapping on holographic screens and sighed.
"What was that?" Tails asked.
"A problem," Was the reply. "Not good. Shadow the Hedgehog found me. Most likely because of experiments. Escape unlikely… did not think he'd get this far… Have to try."
Tails didn't know whether or not to be happy or worried. It would be nice to get out of the reach of this maniac who called herself a doctor, but if Shadow saw her like this… She'd die of shame. She'd rather get shot. At it would be faster.
"Must leave now, no time to pack anything. Best to just save data. Start from scratch." The doctor tapped on the computer quickly and gathered all she could. "Equipment will be easy to replace. Some things necessary. Should save molecular manipulator design. Good, gene therapy plans, yes yes, could lead to cure for genetic defects…" She started reading and saving other programs. Tails could see on her screen that Shadow was making fast progress. He was cutting through like a hot knife.
Hurry Shadow…, Tails hoped that Shadow would get there I time to arrest this freak. But at the same time, she'd hope he'd take his time so that she could get decent. Maybe pass off as someone else. But her heart sank when the doctor took her external storage device and stormed out the door. "Wait! What about me!"
"Likely, quite angry with my results," She replied, "Very sorry they came to this." The Doctor smiled. "But get out an explore. Shadow will free you. Perhaps enjoy a new life. Never know. Might even like it."
"What? Hey! Come back! At least cover me up!" Tails shouted, "Hey! Ugh!"
Tails looked around for a way to get out of her restraints. The straps were leather buckles. She could loosen them. it was worth a try. Tails used her middle finger to reach for the tough metal strap. There was another explosion. This one was close enough to hear clearly. He was getting close. Tails worked a little faster and managed to get the strap out of the loop. Now she had to work the strap passed the buckle. Easier said than done, unlike the loop. But it came loose after a few minutes. "Yes!"
Tails undid her other hand, her feet, yanked out her IV, and hopped off the table. The ground was cold but that was little concern to Tails. Some gauze was on a sterile surface nearby. She grabbed it and covered her IV wound for a while, but now she had to address her bigger problem. Something to cover up. Then she'd think about whether or not she needed to avoid Shadow. Sadly, there wasn't a coat or a blanket anywhere in her room. Even in the doctor's office she was in a little while ago. Tails ran the risk of leaving the room. Shadow wasn't here yet, but he probably would be soon. He was hunting for the doctor. He'd leave no stone unturned. Hiding would be hard. Tails covered her chest and took a deep breath. "Okay… Oh man, this is really weird. Just need to run to the next room and… hope no one's there."
Tails counted to three then made a run for the next room. It was empty. Probably used for storage. Tails dug through cabinets, and draws then finally found a white coat in linen basket. "Yes!" She donned the coat then took a deep breath. "Okay, now I need to…" The door outside made a loud crash and the sound of steps filled the hall. Tails gasped and looked around then jumped into a cabinet. More doors slammed open and there was a lot more crashing. Shadow must be tearing the place apart. She didn't stand a chance. There was no way. Each door crashed open then there would be smashing and breaking. The sounds got closer and closer. It was only a matter of time now. Then it happened. Tails inhaled sharply and held her breath as the doors to her room were kicked open. There was stomping around.
"No, nothing!" A raspy voice said. "She's nowhere! That bitch just disappeared in thin air!"
"Damn it, if I get my hands on her," Another voice growled, "I'll kill her. I'll kill her!"
Tails needed to breathe. She let it out and regained breath. But then she froze when she heard what they had to say next. "Quiet! I heard something… She's here…"
They started moving around. Now she definitely didn't stand a chance… Wait. She didn't recognize either of them… neither of them sounded like Shadow. They were subject like her! Maybe they could work together somehow! Tails, with newfound courage was about to say something when another voice joined them.
"I thought I told you two to leave."
"Shadow!" One of them said in a startled voice. "We know, Shadow, but… we had to come back. She's here somewhere, we know it! We just had to get her…"
"I know," Shadow replied, his voice cleaner than theirs and much calmer. "I know she put you through a lot. But I asked you to leave it to me. If you need to help, then cover the exits. Don't give her a place to run."
That seemed to satisfy the both of them. "He's right. Maybe she'll come to us. We have to outwit her!"
"Okay…," The other agreed, "Good luck, Shadow."
The two left. That plan was out of the picture… She was hoping he'd leave the room with them. maybe trust they searched it thoroughly. But that didn't happen. Shadow's steps were audible and getting closer. Tails breathed quietly and eventually started to hold it again. The steps stopped. Then seemed to turn. Shadow was heading the other way. Tails let out the breath she was holding. Good, if she had to explain this to him, of all people, she'd die the worse of all deaths. But as soon as she felt her cabinet open, she realized that would very well happen. A gloved hand arrested her wrist and yanked her out of the cabinet. She banged her head on the way and then was strung up high enough her feet couldn't touch the ground.
"Wait! Shadow it's me!" She shouted.
Shadow staired at her stoically. "Tails?" He asked, more as a guess then a question.
"Yes," Tails replied in a bit of a panic as well as shame, "Please put me down…" Tails was covering her chest and crossing her legs to cover everything up. Shadow dropped her. and she wrapped herself with the lab coat.
"If you're lying, you're doing sloppy work. Tails is male, not female," Shadow crossed her arms.
"I can prove it," Tails assured, "Just aske me anything only me and Sonic would know!"
"Most of what Tails and Sonic know is public knowledge," Shadow replied, "I don't' have a lot of options."
"Please, anything. Whatever you want, just let me prove it. That doctor! She changed me into this. She used molecular manipulation to change my chromosome results. Or… something like that…"
"You seem to understand the results of her experiments well enough… I suppose that's to be expected if you are telling the truth…" Shadow brought a hand to his chin to think. "If you are Tails, then tell me the mechanism his and Sonic's plane uses."
"Of course," Tails replied excitedly. Anything to keep Shadow from hurting her at this point. "The Tornado uses a dual jet chaos processing engine that equally distributes the infinite energy chaos emeralds produce. It used to be a single engine propeller with classic double wings. It's blue now but initially it was red. The Tornado also has mech capabilities that borrow the chaos engine to create ammo for it's turbo laser, twin guns, and homing missiles."
Shadow gave a curt nod. "Well… that would about do it. Your definitely Tails. You said this happened through molecular manipulation?"
"Yes," Tails replied, "She was just trying to remove one of my tails but ended up… doing this. She said I was the best candidate for this kind of procedure."
"She saw your twin tails as a defect?" Shadow asked.
"I think so. That's probably why she chose me. She said she'd change me back but not after changing a lot more. She wanted to see if she could change my species, but… Fortunately, you came around and stopped her."
"Did you see where she went?" Shadow asked.
Tails shook her head. "No. she just left and didn't bother to even let me out of my restraints."
"That explained the lack of cloths," Shadow said looking down at her body then back to her eyes.
Tails hugged her coat tighter, "Stop staring!"
Shadow turned and checked the hallway. "I should keep looking. Can you make it back to your friends on your own?"
"What?!" tails screamed. "No! They can't see me like this! Shadow, there has to be another way! Maybe a safe house or something you can point me to? Just anywhere but there! I can't let anyone see me like this, not even Amy! Especially Amy!"
"Alright…" Shadow rubbed his forehead. "Tails, there's not a lot of ways I can help right now, and ever second I waste here, the doctor is getting away."
"She's already gone!" Tails argued. She jumped up and gripped him by the shoulders. Shadow stood like a telephone poll and stared at her stoically as he had been. "Don't you think she'd have a plan in place if you or Sonic decided to just drop in like right now?! She's gone now, Shadow, so could you please just help me for five seconds!" Shadow stood there and let the atmosphere mellow out. Tails realized what she was doing and hopped off. "Er… sorry. It's just… I'm so embarrassed right now. My whole identity's been changed and... It's overwhelming, I… I…" Tails slumped on the ground and huffed. "I feel so violated…"
Shadow looked around and kneeled. "Alright, Tails. You win." Shadow picked her up bridal style then started darting out of the building. "I'll have to take you my lodging. Nowhere else I can think of right now. If you want my suggestion, you should tell your friends what happened. The more working on this, the better results might…"
"How about you keep your suggestions to yourself! I didn't ask for your opinion!" Tails hissed.
"Alright…" Shadow became quiet the rest of the trip. He left the building, apparently being a bunker, then traveled minutes to the city and minutes more to his apartment. He only stopped when he finally reached his door. Shadow put her on her feet. The feeling of carpet was a welcome change to the tile floor of the lab. It was much warmer. Tails looked around anxiously while Shadow fumbled with his keys.
There was an old lady who was staring at them. Tails nervously waved at her and hugged her coat tightly. Maybe now would be a good time to button it up. The old woman shook her head as she too was attempting to get into her apartment.
Shadow finally unlocked hid door then opened it for Tails. "Come on." It was colder inside than outside.
"It's a chilly in here, isn't it?" Tails asked.
Shadow hummed int response. "I'll turn the heat on."
"Thanks," Tails muttered as she made her way to a couch. Shadow changed the settings on the thermostat then dug into the closet.
"Rouge tends to come by. So, I have some extra blankets you can use."
"Wait, she comes over!?" Tails panicked, "She can't see me like this either! She's worse than Amy!" Tails covered her head.
"Tails, you're going to have to tell everyone what happened eventually. It's better to just do it sooner and get it out of the way. You might be embarrassed at first, but you'll get there help."
"No!" Tails exclaimed, "No… I can fix this. I know how she changed me; I just need to figure out how to revert it. Tomorrow, take me to my workshop and I'll get to work. Promise me you won't tell anyone?" Tails stood up and faced him.
Shadow sighed and covered his head. "Tails…"
"Promise!" Tails leaned in to emphasis the word more. Shadow sighed in response.
"Alright, you have my word. I'm on administrative leave anyway… This is what I get for ignoring it…" Shadow turned and went into his room. He came back shortly with some clothes. "Here. Uniform issued, but I don't need them." He tossed an undershirt and some PT shorts at her. "We'll get proper cloths tomorrow. For now, deal with those."
"Thank you!" Tals got dressed immediately. Forgetting she was no longer a male for a second. Shadow turned around quickly as she peeled the lab coat off to change. When she finished she chuckled nervously ad scratched her head. "Uh… sorry."
"It's fine, I should have given you space," Shadow insisted, "If you'd like, the shower is over there. Next to the entrance. I'm sure Rouge wouldn't mind if you borrowed her shampoo and body wash. Or her bubble bath if you prefer…"
"Bubble bath…" tails echoed. That sounded a little fun if she was honest. But she shouldn't overstay her welcome. "Thanks Shadow… thanks for helping me. I'm sorry for dragging you into this. I owe you a lot."
Shadow gave a nod. "Its fine, Tails." He went to the kitchenette and started to dig into the fridge.
Tails sat in place, not sure what to do with herself. But conversation was always free. "So… this is a nice place. How long have you stayed?"
"A few years now," Shadow replied, "I don't need much, Rouge uses the appliances more often than I do. I bought it mostly for the view."
"The view?" Tails echoed. She stood up and then opened the blinds to see a deck. Sliding it open with ease, she stepped out and lost her breath as the view of the city and the ocean took her aback. "Wow… This is better than my place…"
Shadow placed a cup down for her and took a seat. "Is your apartment far?"
Tails nodded as she picked up the cup. "Very… I live in Station Square. It's closer to my workshop. This is westopolis, right?"
"Mm hmm," Shadow nodded. He sipped his beverage and crossed his legs in a figure four fashion.
Tails sat down and took a sip of her cup. It was tea. A bitter tea, but bitter was fine. Tails sighed. After everything that happened to him, then her, it was nice to relax and regroup. "If it wasn't so far from my workshop I might have moved here. I love this view."
Shadow didn't reply much in any way this time except a nod. He was probably lost in thought. Tails decided he'd be bothering him if she kept talking so she fell silent and drank her tea. As nice as the view was though, it was getting cold outside. Tails wrapped herself a bit in her two tails for warmth. Shadow got up and left. For some reason it was a little disappointing. Tails was starting to enjoy Shadow's quiet company. But looking back inside she knew she could breathe easy, since he was coming back. With a blanket no less.
"Here, you'll catch a cold," he said, stoic as always.
"Oh, thanks," Tails chuckled, "That helps."
Shadow hummed in response again. He started staring out at the view again. The stillness was starting to bother tails. Usually, she'd have something to tamper with. Something to fix or maybe a video game, a television series. At least some conversations would be nice… But she didn't want to bother her host. Still, she was itching for more than… well, sitting down and drinking tea. Shadow must have sensed this.
"How do you plan to approach this new issue of yours? Machines are no problem for you, but this is a different field than chaos energy. This is molecular science."
"I know," Tails sighed. "But I don't know… I understand molecules, matter, energy, and a stuff easy enough… but molecular manipulation? I didn't even realize we could do that yet. I figured that was a field pretty far out."
"Not as far as you think, eh," Shadow commented.
Tails nodded but had a small idea. "Well, the doctor lady did save her project. She left her facility. Maybe we could…"
"Hold that thought," Shadow Got up hastily and went for his phone. That was the most emotion that he'd shown since he found her. "Get me Captain Rice. Call the op team sent for Doctor Pam's Facility, or tell them to hold off on demolitions… what?"
That didn't sound good. Tails sighed and slumped in her chair. "Well… there went that idea…"
"What do you mean they already finished? …I see...," Shadow hung up. "Tails, I'm afraid moral ruled over advancement a long time ago. After my sweep, a demolition team was supposed to wipe Doctor Pam's work. I'm afraid that option isn't available."
Tails buried her face in her hands. "That would have made things easier… she left everything, everything intact! She didn't even care if anyone got the machine. She just got her schematics and data and left."
"Like she expected us to destroy it for her…" Shadow said crossed her arms and thought to himself silently for a while. "I apologize. Perhaps after seeing you I should have thought about the repercussions of destroying the facility. Initially I did try to fight the option, but higher powers overruled me. I followed orders."
Tails arched a brow. "Is sending you to that facility their definition of administrative leave?"
Shadow shrugged, "That's my fault. While I was on leave, I insisted I take point on the operation. Doctor Pam and I…have a brief history."
"What happened?" Tails asked.
Shadow was quiet. "Maybe another time, Tails."
Tails ducked her head. "Okay…" After that talk, they were quiet again. "Well… is the offer for your bathtub still open?"
Shadow bobbed his head. "Go ahead."
Tails stood up and brought the blanket inside. She folded it neatly and set it on the couch, then left for the bathroom. Once inside Tails leaned against the door and sighed. There were a lot of mixed feeling running around but the hope was a bath or shower, or something would wash them a way and restart her brain. Closing the curtains, Tails started warming up a shower then undressing. She took a deep breath, facing the bathroom but an urge started pulling her gaze to look into the mirror. After some fighting, she finally gave in and turned to face it. it was starting to get foggy in the room, but the mirror was still clear enough to show her upper body.
She placed her hands on her face and pat her cheeks. Then she rubbed her neck. Not all that different there. What was the point of looking for changes there anyway. The changes of her body were obvious. A larger chest for one. Fighting with herself. She finally talked herself into believing it was okay to explore her own body. Even if it technically wasn't hers as she knew it, it was still her DNA, her… literal body. Just altered…
It felt strange. Having breasts was something she never thought she'd have to deal with. But here they were. Pretty sizable. And in the mirror she actually looked pretty attractive. Nice hourglass waist, round hips. Tails turned around. "Whoa…" She had a nice butt if she was being honest to herself. Which, since she was talking to herself now, she freely admitted it. Her body, if she was measuring by what used to be her male standards, was awesome. Since she had to be female, this was definitely a body worth having. So… glass half full.
"I wonder what Shadow thought…" She said to herself. The question, mumbled quietly but still audible to herself caught her off guard. "Whoa time out!" She said to herself a little louder. She quieted down so Shadow wouldn't hear her talking to herself. "Tails, you are a boy. You are a boy! You as much as boy as a boy can get! Just because you got changed by a psycho doctor obsessed with changing molecules doesn't change that!" She hopped into the shower as she pepped talked herself. "I might be different now, but I'm still Miles Prower. I'm still Sonics little buddy… Even if I hate that nickname…" Tails huffed, "But I'm still Tails… I'm…" Tails, as much as she fought it, she was just so drawn by the question. "What did Shadow think when he saw me…?"
Tails again touched her body and examined it. I mean, Rouge is always stopping by… there's no way a body like this can compare to hers… I mean, she's Rouge! There's just… Tails huffed. Tails… you are not making this easy on yourself. "I need to go back to my workshop. Something familiar. The world is so much simpler when your fixing things…"
Tails reached for some shampoo. There were a few bottles. Several of them were cheap hotel bottles, one of them was a larger but not that much better quality bottle of shampoo than the smaller ones, but the largest bottle was red, elegantly designed and pricy. It had all these natural ingredients in them along with an image of a human girl brushing out her shiny, smooth hair. "Ooh…" Tails grabbed it and examined it. "I guess it wouldn't hurt to care for my fur a little more…" Oh, what am I saying! Tails slammed the bottle back and grabbed a cheap hotel bottle, "Who needs good fur. It's a waste of time! My fur looks fine as it is, stop worrying about it." She lathered her hands with the bottle's contents and started to wash around her body.
She started with her stomach, moved to her legs, then her back as best as she could. After that she started on her head and neck and then reluctantly to her breasts. She brushed a nipple and tensed. It felt different. Much different than when she cleaned herself as a male. She started messaging the shampoo onto her breasts again, ignoring the feeling until she found the spot again. Right on the nipple. It felt… kind of good. Tails circled the nipple a few times and got acquainted with the new sensation. "Wow… do women always feel like this…?" She stopped. "Well, it doesn't matter." She huffed again and continued cleaning and started going downward. It didn't take long for her to regret it.
"Aaah!" She gasped as her hands swiped down to clean her middle. It brushed the slit between her legs and gave her a whole different kind of shock. She covered her mouth. That was louder than she thought. A knock came from the door.
"Tails, are you okay in there?"
"Sorry," She replied. Wait what was she supposed to say? She was exploring her body and found some rather interesting landmarks to take note of? No way. I can't tell him about that! "I slipped in the shower. I'm okay though."
"Are you sure?" He asked.
"Yes," She replied, trying to fight the need to do it again. It just felt so nice. Maybe it would be okay for just a little while… She reached down and rubbed it again this time caching her voice before it could rat her out again.
"Just be more careful." He was silent now.
"Okay… Sorry…," Tails continued her movement. Rubbing up and down at her middle. It felt amazing. But another idea came to mind. "Wh-what if I…" She started stimulating nipple and gasped. "Oh wow…" Tails lost herself in the sensation. She sat down in the shower and continued to message herself in both areas. Something was building up inside her. A need. A cramp. but she kept going. Something told her to keep going. This was so similar to when she was doing this as a male. But the sensation was so new that it felt better than that. Finally, she felt herself jerk and shake. She quieted herself into a whimper as she rode out this feeling then finally stopped and relaxed. She felt just as relaxed as she was when she orgasmed as a boy. But now… well, this was just as good if not better. Tails signed in relief and waited there. This was nice. Just herself and the warm water.
Eventually, she realized she was taking too long. She stood to her feet and rinsed off a little more then called it quits in the shower. Once she was done, she dried off, put on the cloths, and looked in the mirror. "Huh that looks kind of cute…" She posed one side then the other and hummed. She had the shirt untucked, but she decided to slightly tuck the baggy shirt in and let the rest of it sag. She smiled. Satisfied with her baggy look then stepped out.
"Sorry for taking so long. I hope you don't mind…" Tails found Shadow on the sofa reading a book. He looked so mature with a pair of reading glasses, lounging on the end of the sofa with his legs crossed in the figure four. A positions he seemed to like.
"It's fine," Shadow replied. He barely acknowledged her in any way accept that stoic glare. "I trust you found everything you needed."
"Sure, everything but a toothbrush," She scratched her head.
Shadow hummed in response. "Hm. Try the first drawer. Right side top drawer. There are some extra brush heads for the sonic toothbrush inside. Or you can dig into the left top drawer and use a non-electric."
"So accommodating," Tails giggled. She stopped herself. What the heck, Tails! Stop being female! Tails cleared her throat. "Thanks, Shadow. I owe you." Shadow eyed her passed his glasses, gave her a nod, then returned to his book. Tails turned around. Damn it, Shadow, stop doing that! Tails reached the bathroom and groaned. "Damn it, do girls have to deal with this all the time?" Tails found a whole new level of respect for women. Living life as one was a minute-by-minute struggle.
Tails splashed her face with cold water then dug into the drawers for the toothbrushes. She decided on using the electric toothbrush. She had an electric toothbrush at home and found it much nicer to use than the ordinary brushes. Plus is reached better. As Tails brushed her teeth, she thought about a lot of things. New emotions, new feelings, how to put things back to normal, but also… Shadow started running through her mind.
Shadow was more serious than anyone Tails knew. The both of them had an even level of respect for each other before today. Now, it seemed those feelings held through the years of not seeing each other. Work responsibilities Shadow from seeing anyone for a while. Rouge was around once in while though. Only to see knuckles. But this new info of her staying the night at Shadows was curious. Did she stay because of work, and he lived closer, or did she stay because they had a thing going on… Yeah, that wasn't a question she was asking. Not upfront, at least.
It would be a little disappointing…depending on the answer… Tails shook her head and spat aggressively at the sink. "Get over yourself. Soon, this will all be over, you'll be normal, and this whole thing will be a fevered dream." She brushed her tongue clean then rinsed her mouth out and examined herself in the mirror more. Well, at least I'm cute. I think if every boy had to become a girl they'd want to be a cute one. I guess I'm lucky.
Tails left the bathroom for good this time then stretched and moaned. She was getting tired. Shadow seemed to take that as a hint and put a bookmark where he was leaving off. "If you want, you can use this couch. It has a bed in it." Shadow moved the coffee table to the side and took off the cushions, throwing them off on the coffee table. He pulled the bed out and pointed at the blankets next to Tails. "Could you hand me those?"
"Here, I'll help," She offered as she picked a sheet first. The worked together to make the bed then set. Once done Tails laid down on it. The mattress was a bit skinny; the springs could just barely be felt but, it was still comfortable. Tails moaned into the pillow and cuddled it. "Mmm comfy."
Shadow turned off most of the lights except the lamp next to Tails' sofa. "Enjoy your stay. I'll leave you alone now."
"Oh uh," Tails almost protested him leaving but what excuse was possibly good enough to have him stay? Was there even a good reason? Mentally defeated, Tails cleared her throat. "I… just wanted to ask. What are you reading?"
Shadow turned the book so she could see the title. "Tom Clancy. Rainbow Six. It's military fiction. I'm not sure if you would like it. But that's what I told Rouge and she finished it before I did."
"Oh… okay," Tails said trying to continue the conversation. "Well… good night, Shadow."
"Good night, Tails," Shadow replied. He left the room for good, and a door officially divided the both of them.
Tails sighed to herself. What is going on? Stop it! She turned the light off and laid down. He's not interested. You're not interested, so stop! Tails huffed and restlessly tried to get to sleep. She tried not to think of Shadow. She had wondered if any other male teammate had found her, would she be going through the same thing with them? What if a female found her? What if it was Rouge instead of Shadow? Would she feel like this with her? Or would they just be friends? Tails sighed and rolled around. She didn't want to think about it. She just wanted to sleep! Nothing was working. Tails sat up and elected to curl up and stare out of the sliding door to the balcony. There was a lot to think about even if she didn't want to. Mostly about returning to normal. But she would be lying if she didn't admit that exploring this new and strange opportunity wasn't intriguing to her… Maybe seeing things from the other side of the field wouldn't be so bad. Just so long as she didn't get used to it.
Yeah, I kinda of shipped these two for a while. Never been a yaoi girl myself, but this works.
