Welcome to the first episode of the Modern Sonic and Sonic Boom crossover special. In this episode, while in a battle, a huge incident caused Modern Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Shadow, and Eggman to be transported to Sonic Boom's universe. This is how it all began

Episode 1: Sonic meets Sonic?
It was one year after Sonic Forces and the world was peaceful, but not for very long. The evil Dr. Eggman strikes yet again to try to get rid of his arch-nemesis, Sonic the Hedgehog. But Eggman also wants to get rid of Sonic's friends, so he can rebuild the Eggman Empire after his biggest setback
Running to Eggman's new base, is a trio consisting of Sonic the Hedgehog, the fastest thing alive. Miles Prower or rather Tails, is a two-tailed fox, that is Sonic's best friend. Knuckles the Echidna, one of Sonic's friendly rivals and guardian of Angel Island.
"OK, guys, Baldy McNosehair is yet up to no good! Let's beat him for probably for the millionth time!" Sonic said to Tails and Knuckles.
"You got it, Sonic!" Tails yelled.
"Let's do this!" Knuckles yelled.
And so the trio ran to Eggman's base to stop Eggman from whatever plan he tries to conquer the world. But, behind them was an Egg Drone watching the 3 heroes.
Inside his new base was the evil Dr. Eggman who was watching the 3 heroes run towards his base. Standing, or rather floating next to Eggman was his two robot lackeys, Orbot and Cubot.
Cubot spoke up "Um, boss, Sonic and his friends are on the way."
Eggman already annoyed said "I know that, Bolt-head!"
Orbot asked "Um, boss, what do you think is your course of action?"
Eggman said "I'll send a couple of badniks to hold Sonic and his meddling friends for me to prepare an ambush for them. Also this plan will involve me to let Sonic in my base easily, but what those fools don't know is that they will be stepping in an ambush."
Orbot asked "Are you sure, doctor?
Eggman yelled "Yes, you dumb bot!" Eggman also said "This plan will finally get rid of that blue menace once and for all." The doctor would the let out a huge evil laugh.
Orbot in his mind said "I know this is going to go completely wrong."
As Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles try to storm Eggman's base, they are meet with tons of badniks.
"Badniks!" Knuckles shouted.
Tails yelled "There are like hundreds of them! We probably can't take them all out!"
Sonic yelled "Yes, we can! Because we're Sonic Heroes!"
"You're right, Sonic! We are Sonic Heroes! Tails said
"Let's bring down Eggman's badnik army!" Knuckles said
Just when the trio is about to engage Eggman's badnik army, a voice can be heard. "Chaos Spear!" Many Chaos Spears destroyed many of Eggman's badniks. Those Chaos Spears were from the Ultimate Lifeform and Sonic's other friendly rival, Shadow the Hedgehog.
Sonic in surprise said "Shadow, you're here?"
Shadow said "Now is not the time to lose focus, Sonic. We have to bring Eggman and his next plan down!"
Sonic said "Right, let's take down Egghead's army of stupidniks!"
Now with Shadow supporting the 3 heroes, the 4 started beating down Eggman's badnik army with ease. In Eggman's base, Orbot and Cubot who were watching the action, went to give the news that would probably anger Dr. Eggman.
Eggman, who was setting up his ambush, was later met with his 2 robot lackeys.
"Boss, Sonic and his friends are quickly destroying you're army." Orbot said
"What!?" Eggman yelled in anger
"That means you'll have less time to prepare you're ambush." Cubot said, pointing out the obvious.
Eggman yelled at Cubot "Well, thank you for point that out, Captain Obvious!"
Orbot nervously said "Also, Shadow is with Sonic and the others."
This made Eggman even more angrier. "Ahhh! First, Sonic and his annoying friends destroy my badniks with ease and now Shadow's with them!" Eggman growed in anger. "That does it!"
Eggman reaches out something in his pockets and it appears to be a Phantom Ruby prototype.
"A Phantom Ruby prototype? I thought you got rid of those, Doctor?" Orbot said
"Well, if all else fails, you always got to have a backup plan." Eggman said
Eggman held up the Prototype and then seconds later, a bunch of clones consisting, Shadow, Metal Sonic, Chaos and Zavok all start appearing.
Orbot said "You can't be serious, Boss?"
Eggman yelled "Shut up, you metal head! I can be as serious as I want. Ambush or no ambush, Sonic and his pesky friends are going down." Eggman then turned over to his clones. "Now, my clones, go get Sonic!"
The clones Eggman summoned went to stall or dismantle Sonic and his friends. Back with Sonic and his friends.
After beating Eggman's badnik army, Sonic and his friends are closing in Eggman's base, but their path came to a halt. Tons of Shadow, Metal Sonic, Chaos and Zavok clones were blocking the 4 heroes path.
"Oh" Sonic said
"My" Tails said
"Goodness" Knuckles said
The four heroes were shocked to see what their next wave was.
Knuckles said "But how can this be? I thought the Phantom Ruby was destroyed after we defeated Eggman."
"I believe Eggman had a spare after we beat him." Tails responded
"The doctor really has done it this time." Shadow said
"Come on, guys. We've beaten Egghead's stupidnik army and we can definitely beat these fakers here." Sonic declared
Knuckles and Shadow shouted in agreement. But Tails began to have flashbacks.
(Flashback to Sonic Forces)
As Tails was fixing Omega, Chaos is seen moving up to Tails.
Tails realizes Chaos and he began to be frightened.
"Sonic, Help Me!" Tails said in fear.
(End of Flashback.)
"Last year, I was scared of Chaos" Tails thought "Now there are so many them. Sonic, help... No, Sonic wants me to be brave and bold against anyone. I was scared back then, I am not anymore."
Tails shouted with confidence "Alright, bring it on!"
The four heroes went after the replicas. Sonic dealing the Metal Sonics, Shadow dealing with his replicas, Knuckles dealing with the Zavoks and Tails dealing with the Chaos clones.
Sonic saying to one of the Metal Sonic before Spin Dashing into another Metal Sonic "Take this, you metal doppelganger."
Knuckles said to the Zavoks "Alright! Let's see how tough you really are, you wannabe monsters!" Knuckles then began fighting off the Zavoks.
"There can only be one of me, and it's not one of you fakers!" Shadow said to his replicas before shouting "Chaos Spear!"
"I'm not afraid of you anymore. Come on, bring it on!" Tails said to the Chaos clones before fighting them.
Moments of fighting them off, the replicas are disapperaing.
Knuckles said "That's the last of them."
Sonic declared "Now that we got rid of Eggman's counterfeit cronies, it's time that we deal with him."
Sonic's yelled in agreement "Yeah!"
Back at Eggman's base, Orbot and Cubot went to deliever the news to Eggman.
"Boss, your army of clones have been wiped out." Orbot said.
"It doesn't matter. My ambush is ready for action. Now I want you two metal dunces lure Sonic into my trap." Eggman said.
Cubot said "Uh, boss..."
Eggman yelled in anger "I don't want to hear it! Just do what I tell you to do!"
Orbot and Cubot would then try to lure Sonic and the others to Eggman's base. The four heroes are seen moving up to Eggman's base.
Sonic said to Tails "How much longer till we get to Eggman's base, Tails?"
Tails looks at his Miles Electric pad as he is flying "We're almost there, Sonic."
Shadow said "Well, it's about time we're almost to the doctor's base."
Knuckles yelled "Let's get him!"
As the four heroes move up, they are stopped by Orbot and Cubot.
"You may have gotten past the first two waves, but can you get past us?" Cubot said to the heroes.
"Seriously, you're the last line of defense for Egghead?" Sonic chuckled
Tails said "You guys are so easy to get through."
Shadow stepped in and said "You may be blocking our path of bringing down Eggman, but at least we can make an example out of you."
Orbot and Cubot screamed in horror and they began retreating.
As the four heroes began chasing Orbot and Cubot, Knuckles yelled at the robotic duo "Get back here, you quitters!"
Inside his base, Eggman was watching the action on a screen and began laughing evilly, realizing that his plan was working. "Yes, it's working. Time to say your prayers, Sonic."
Back outside, the pursuit was still on. Orbot and Cubot have led the four heroes into Eggman's evil lair. After getting in, the heroes were surprised that Eggman had no security systems. But Orbot and Cubot were nowhere to be found.
"This place is so dark in here." Knuckles said
"I'm surprised that Baldy McNosehair didn't use any of his security." Sonic said.
"Hold a second, guys. Something's sounds funny here." Tails said
"Seems like it, Tails. I think we're standing in an ambush right now." Shadow said
The lights came on and revealed a huge room. Then the Egg Dragoon came out.
Eggman laughed evilly "Hello, Sonic! I see that you and your meddling friends have stepped in right into my trap.
Sonic shouted "Yeah, I can see that! Bring it on, Egghead!
Eggman shouted back "It's on, you miserable rodent!" He also added "Once I'm through with you, I would then get rid of your friends and then no one can stop me from rebuilding the Eggman Empire."
Knuckles yelled "We'll see about that, Eggman! Let's get him!"
The four heroes then began making their offense towards Eggman and his Egg Dragoon. "Get a load of this!" Eggman shouted as he began to fire his machine gun at the heroes.
As Eggman stop firing, Sonic would then give his game plan.
"OK, guys, this is how this is going to work. Knuckles, you throw me and Shadow up in the air. Tails, you grab us and set us up for a double spin dash." Sonic said
"Got it, Sonic." Tails said
The heroes would then get into position for their team maneuver.
"Ready, Shadow?" Sonic asked
"Ready, Sonic." Shadow replied
"Knuckles, you're up." Sonic told Knuckles
Knuckles sets down his hands, Sonic and Shadow stand on top of them and Knuckles launches them in the air.
"Tails, it's your turn." Sonic yelled.
Tails is seen flying in the air. Tails grabs the two hedgehogs and lines them up.
"Oh, no you don't!" Eggman yelled "Take this!"
Eggman fired a large drill from his Egg Dragoon, but Tails dodged.
"On the count of 3, you let us go, Tails, and Shadow, we spin dash into Eggman. One, Two, Three!" Sonic said
Tails let go of Sonic and Shadow, then the two hedgehogs began their spin dash. As they're coming towards him, Eggman swatted them away. Sonic and Shadow landed on the ground.
Eggman laughed evilly "You thought you can stop this thing?" He said. "Why don't you look at this!"
The heroes see a Phantom Ruby inside the Egg Dragoon.
"You can't be joking!" Knuckles yelled in frustration.
"I'm not joking, Knucklehead! With this spare Phantom Ruby, the Egg Dragoon is now twice as powerful!" Eggman laughed evilly.
"I knew he had a spare" Tails said.
The Egg Dragoon's machine gun can now shoot faster and the drills are now explosive and they explode on impact, but Shadow has an idea.
"Sonic, remember that plan you came up with moments ago?" Shadow asked his teammate.
"Yes, Shadow" Sonic replied "Why do you ask?"
"Well, Knuckles will throw me up in the air and Tails will fly you up in the air and the thing is with both of us up in the air, Eggman won't know who to target, but one of us will have to take the bullet."
"That can work, Shadow." Tails said
"OK! Everyone, get to your positions!" Shadow said to his teammates.
As everyone get into their positions, the Egg Dragoon began firing at the heroes. Tails flies up Sonic up to Eggman, Knuckles throws Shadow in the air, Shadow then activates his rocket shoes and he is in sight of Eggman. Both hedgehogs began their spin dash. Eggman swats Shadow away, but Sonic hits Eggman 3 consecutive times.
Knuckles yelled. "Yes! It worked!"
Eggman was in shock. "No, this can't be possible!"
Sonic said to his arch-nemesis "Oh, it is possible, Egghead. With the power of teamwork and friendship, nothing can stop us."
"Don't think you've won, Sonic! There's still a long way to stopping me!" Eggman declared.
"We don't think we won, Eggman! We already won!" Tails said with confidence.
"Well, let's find out!" Eggman yelled.
Eggman fired his Egg Dragoon at the heroes, but they got into position. They repeated the process, but Sonic got swatted, however, Shadow hits Eggman 3 times.
"No, it can't be! I can't lose now!" Eggman said in shock.
Eggman was now furious "That's it! No more Dr. Nice Guy! This ends now!"
The mad doctor enhances the power of the Phantom Ruby. Now the Egg Dragoon is even more powerful. Instead of a machine gun, the Egg Dragoon has a flamethrower and the drills are now missiles.
Eggman fires missiles at Knuckles and Shadow and uses his flamethrower on Sonic and Tails. But the heroes dodged all of Eggman's attacks. They did the same process from the first two times, the two hedgehogs began their Spin Dashes, but Eggman couldn't swat them away.
"Curse you, Sonic the Hedgehog!" Eggman screamed.
As he tries to flee on his Egg Mobile from his mech before exploding, Eggman was too late to escape. The mad doctor was sent flying and landed on the ground. Also, the Phantom Ruby got ejected from the Egg Dragoon.
As Eggman began to recover, the four heroes walked up to him.
"No, please! I'm sorry! Please don't hurt me!" Eggman begged.
"Asking for forgiveness isn't going to help you, doctor. You're lucky we're not going to hurt you, much less kill you." Shadow said to the pleading doctor.
A strange sound is being heard.
"Um, guys. What's that sound?" asked Sonic.
"I don't know, Sonic." Knuckles repiled.
"I believe that sound is coming from that Phantom Ruby prototype and it's acting weird."
"Uh-Oh." Eggman nervously said.
"What did you do, Eggman?" Sonic accusingly said to his arch-nemesis.
"Sonic, I swear it wasn't me. I'm actually being honest. Eggman said as if he was telling the truth.
"Why is that Phantom Ruby acting so strange, Eggman? Tails asked.
"Even for a genius like me, I don't know. But what I do know is that we need to get out of here before that Phantom Ruby does something bad." Eggman said to the heroes.
"As far I hate.to say it, but we'll get you out of here, Eggman." Said the Ultimate Lifeform.
But just before the heroes and Eggman make their escape, the Phantom Ruby made a huge portal that would suck the heroes and Eggman in.
Orbot and Cubot realized that Eggman was gone.
"Boss, where are you?" Cubot asked.
In another dimension, the portal appears and flying out of the portal were the four heroes and Dr. Eggman.
"Where the heck are we?" Knuckles asked.
"I'm not very sure, Knuckles. But what we know is we're on some sort of island." Sonic replied to his teammate before turning over to Eggman. "Is this part if your plan, Egghead?"
"Like I said, hedgehog. This is not my fault." Eggman replied.
"Technically, It is. We wouldn't be wherever the heck we are now if it weren't for you, Eggman." Shadow said.
"Ok, maybe it kind of was my fault. But we can still get out of here." Eggman said to the heroes.
"I never thought I would say this, but, Eggman's right. We can use Chaos Control to get back. Shadow, bring us home." Sonic said.
"I can't, Sonic." Shadow said.
"What do you mean you can't?" Eggman asked the Ultimate Lifeform.
"We don't have any Chaos Emeralds with us." Shadow said, pointing out the problem.
Everyone, but Shadow groaned, realizing they're going to be stuck on the island probably forever.
Eggman spoke up and said "I never thought I would be saying this, but guys, I think we should have a temporary truce."
"You can't fool me, Eggman!" Knuckles said as if he knew he wouldn't be tricked again. "Why should we trust you?"
"Yeah! We all know is you're going to pull off some dirty trick on us behind our backs." Tails said.
"Please, I swear. I promise I won't do anything behind your backs. What do you say, Sonic? Do we have a deal?" Eggman said as he extended his arm to his arch-nemesis.
"Deal." Sonic answered.
Sonic and Eggman shook hands in agreement, making their temporary ceasefire offical.
"But just so we're clear, doctor, we will have our eyes on you." Shadow said.
"I just said I wouldn't pull any tricks on you guys." Eggman said in annoyance.
"Guys, I just found a village from this direction." Tails said.
"Well, what are waiting for. Let's go." Sonic said.
As the heroes and Eggman go to the village Tails spotted, they are going to meet some similar faces once their in the village.
Moments later, they reached the village and the villagers were looking at the four heroes and Eggman as if they're seeing double.
"Why are those idiots looking at us like that? asked Dr. Eggman.
"I'm not sure, but I think we should just ignore them and pretend they are not even there." replied Shadow.
"You know what, Shadow? I think you're right. Let's not pay any attention to them." said Sonic.
Meanwhile, at a restaurant named Meh Burger, there was another set of Sonic and his friends, but they are much different from the others. Instead of Shadow and Eggman, there was a pink hedgehog named Amy Rose and a brown badger named Sticks. Together, they're known as Team Sonic.
"Ugh! He got the order wrong again!" Said Boom Sonic.
"He got mine wrong, too." Said Boom Knuckles. Despite having his order wrong he still eats his lunch.
"That guy keeps getting our orders wrong. Why I oughta..." Sticks said as she was about to go berserk.
"Sticks, let's not try to do something like that." said Boom Amy as she prevents the badger from going insane.
"She's right, Sticks. If we do anything like this, we may be banned from this place." said Boom Tails.
As Team Sonic hope for a certain intern named Dave to fix their orders, they're about to see some surprise vistors.
Meanwhile, with the Modern team, they were hungary after their battle.
"Is anyone hungry?" asked Modern Sonic.
"We are all hungry, Sonic." replied Modern Knuckles.
"Guys, I found a restaurant named Meh Burger." said Modern Tails.
"Is it called Meh Burger because people say Meh, I had better?" Modern Sonic said jokingly.
"Now is not the time for jokes, Sonic." Modern Shadow said to his rival. "We need to at least find a way to get back home."
"Jeez, Shadow. Where is your sense of humor?" Modern Sonic thought.
But just when the Modern characters are about to enter the restaurant, they saw counterparts of themselves, minus Boom Amy, Sticks, and Boom Eggman.
Modern Eggman thought upon seeing Boom Sonic "Just when I thought dealing with one annoying blue hedgehog, two is even worse. But why does the other Sonic have blue arms?"
Modern Sonic thought upon seeing his counterpart and Amy's counterpart. "First, I encountered myself another dimension and now I see another. And is that... Amy? Like, what are the odds of her being here?"
Modern Tails spoke up "Guys, I believe we in another dimension where another Sonic is."
"Hmph. It seems like it." Modern Shadow said.
"But here's another thing, guys. Some of us in this dimension look different. Modern Knuckles said.
"Let's just get something to eat and go." Modern Eggman said.
As the Modern team walk into Meh Burger, Team Sonic was in a state of surprise when they saw some of their counterparts.
"Sonic?" Boom Tails said.
"Yeah, Tails?" Boom Sonic said.
"I was talking to the other Sonic, Sonic." Said Boom Tails. "Hey, Sonic!"
Modern Sonic turned over to Boom Tails. "Tails?"
Sticks sees Modern Eggman. "Eggman!" The crazy badger screams and jumps on Modern Eggman.
"Get off me, you crazy animal!" Modern Eggman yelled, pushing Sticks off of him.
"Another me? Why do you look so short?" Said Boom Knuckles to his Modern counterpart.
"And why do you look so weird?" Modern Knuckles said to his muscular Boom counterpart.
"Hey, don't you call me weird!" yelled Boom Knuckles.
Boom Amy looks at Modern Sonic. "Sonic?"
Modern Sonic thinks that Boom Amy is like his Amy in his dimension. "Amy, stay back."
Boom Amy said to Modern Sonic. "What? I just want to meet you. And why do you look so different?"
Modern Shadow spoke up and said to Team Sonic. "That's what we're asking the lot of you."
Team Sonic sees Modern Shadow. Thinking it's their Shadow, Team Sonic tries to deal with him. But Modern Tails made sure that Team Sonic doesn't attack.
"Tails, move out of the way. We have to deal with Shadow here. Boom Sonic said to Modern Tails.
"What are you idiots talking about?" Modern Shadow said to Team Sonic. "You think I'm a bad guy here. Just so we're clear, I'm Shadow the Hedgehog, the Ultimate Lifeform, and one of the world's defenders.
Team Sonic were stunned to hear that Modern Shadow was actually a good guy. Unlike Boom Shadow, Modern Shadow has a heart of gold.
"OK. I think we need to introduce ourselves. But first, let us get something to eat." Modern Tails said.
The Modern team is seen having lunch with Team Sonic. The introductions began.
"Now, let us introduce ourselves." Modern Sonic said.
But before the introductions began, the Modern team realized that their orders were wrong.
"Hey, this isn't what I even ordered." Modern Sonic complained.
"This isn't what I ordered as well." Modern Tails complained.
"None of us got our orders right." Said Modern Shadow.
Boom Amy spoke up. "The orders here are most likely going to be wrong. If were lucky enough, we just might get what we want."
"Oh, well. At least need to eat something. Modern Knuckles said.
Just before the meeting was about to begin, Sticks was suspicious of Modern Sonic and his friends.
"Are you and your friends aliens? Are you and your friends made by the government to replace us? Answer me!" Yelled Sticks.
Modern Sonic answered. "No and No." Modern Sonic said to Team Sonic. "Is your friend always like that?"
"Whenever she thinks there is a clone of you and your friends, she will act like that. Plus, she hates aliens." Boom Tails said.
"Well, you already know who I am. By the way, me from this dimension, why are your arms blue and why do some of your friends have bandages. Were you hurt a lot?" Said Modern Sonic.
"My arms always have been blue and no, we're not wearing bandages because we're hurt. We have bandages for some unknown reason." said Boom Sonic.
"I got to ask you, Tails from this dimension. Why do you wear those goggles?" Modern Tails said to his Boom counterpart.
"I'm not sure, but I do know is that we have many things in common." replied Boom Tails.
"Yeah, you're right. We do have many things in common." said Modern Tails.
Boom Knuckles spoke to his Modern counterpart. "You're so short and I'm bigger and stronger than you, I can definitely beat you."
Modern Knuckles got angry. "You really think so?! I'll show you what I can do!"
Boom Knuckles and the rest of Team Sonic screamed in horror as Modern counterpart tried to attack his Boom counterpart. Modern Sonic and Tails were calming down Modern Knuckles.
"Is your Knuckles always like that?" asked Boom Amy.
"Yes. He'll only get angry if you make a fool out of him or say anything stupid." Modern Shadow said.
"Speaking of stupid, our Knuckles is like that." said Boom Sonic.
"Hey, I'm not that stupid." Boom Knuckles protested.
"Only one way to find out." Modern Sonic said. "Knuckles from this dimension, can you count to 5?"
"1, 2. Uhh, what comes after 2?" Said Boom Knuckles.
Modern Knuckles facepalmed. "Ugh! Moron!" He thought.
Modern Shadow spoke up and said. "I already told you who I am. But I need to know how is your Shadow here in this dimension?"
Boom Amy said "Well, unlike you, Shadow, our Shadow tried to destroy this world by causing a catastrophic anamoly.
Modern Shadow spits out his drink in shock. He accidentally spit his drink at Boom Knuckles.
"Eww!" said Boom Knuckles.
"He what?!" Modern Shadow yelled.
"Yep, that's what he tried to do. But in the end we stopped the anamoly." Boom Tails said.
"But here's another thing, Shadow, our Shadow here is more mean and heartless."
Modern Shadow said "Unlike that heartless freak, I intend to save my world and there are times I fight alongside Sonic and his friends to save the world in my dimension. Speaking of which, our Amy seems to have a huge crush on Sonic and I think Sonic is too embarrassed to admit his feelings to her.
"Is that true, Sonic? Do you really have feelings for your Amy?" Boom Tails asked Modern Sonic.
"Uhh..." Modern Sonic said nervously.
"What's the matter, Sonic? Are you embarrassed or are you just scared? Modern Shadow said to his rival.
"Yeah, Sonic. Speak up." said Modern Knuckles.
"Uhh.." Modern Sonic was hesitant to say the truth.
Team Sonic and the rest of Modern Sonic's friends were banging on the table, chanting. "Fess up, fess up, fess up."
Modern Sonic yelled. "Alright! That's enough!"
Everyone stopped chanting.
"Ok, the truth is I like Amy as a friend, but I don't know if I love her."
Modern Eggman said to his Modern arch-nemesis "Don't think we're going to buy it, Sonic. Tell us the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth.
"Fine. I do love Amy." Sonic confessed.
"Aww!" Everyone said.
Boom Knuckles began singing. "Sonic and Amy sitting on tree..."
Modern Sonic yelled at Boom Knuckles. "Shut it, Knuckles!"
"Aww!" Boom Knuckles said in disappointment.
Boom Sonic said to Modern Eggman. "Well, Egghead, are you like our Egghead that tries to destroy this village so he build his stupid theme park and why are you so fat than our Egghead?"
Modern Eggman yelled at Boom Sonic. "First of all, no, you meddlesome rodent. I'm not like your dumb counterpart of me. I want to destroy Sonic in my dimension and take over the world. Second of all, don't you dare judge me on how I look."
Team Sonic were shocked to find out that Modern Eggman wants world domination, instead of doing what Boom Eggman wants.
"But I'm not doing that after one battle we had that caused us to be here. Later, me and Sonic agreed to have a temporary truce till we get home. Modern Eggman added.
"Also last year in my dimension, our Eggman actually took over the world, but in the end, we beat him and took our world back." Modern Sonic said.
"And I would've gotten away with it if it weren't for Sonic and his meddling friends." said Modern Eggman.
"Speaking of meddling, it's time for the destruction of you and your meddlesome friends, Sonic." A voice is heard.
It was Boom Eggman in his Egg Mobile with his robot army.
"What now, Egghead?" Boom Sonic said to his Boom arch-nemesis.
"You heard what I said, rodent. If you didn't catch that I'll repeat it again. It's time for..." Boom Eggman sees the Modern team and Modern Eggman.
"Another Sonic?! Just when things can't get any worse!" Boom Eggman said in frustration.
Modern Sonic as he stands with his friends, Modern Eggman, and Team Sonic said "What's the matter, Egghead? Now with two of us, we'll beat you twice as fast."
Boom Eggman replied "More like me having twice as more fun beating you two and your friends. Hey, other me from another dimension, why are you so much fatter than me? Have you been eating too much? By the way, your genius can't be compared to mine.
As the Modern heroes and Team Sonic are ready to take on Boom Eggman, Modern Eggman got angry and said "I'll get fat from eating your so-called genius, you Eggman wannabe!"
Team Sonic, Modern Knuckles and even Modern Shadow were shocked to hear what Modern Eggman said to Boom Eggman.
Both Boom Amy and Sticks covered their mouths in shock.
"Oh, my Gosh. Did he just say that?" Boom Tails said.
"Wow, I wish you were more intimidating and more serious, Eggman." Boom Sonic said to Boom Eggman.
"I show you serious, alright! Robots, attack!" Boom Eggman yelled.
Boom and Modern Sonic are seen spin dashing into Boom Eggman's robots. Boom and Modern Tails are also in the action. Same thing with both Modern and Boom Knuckles. Boom Amy is seen smashing Boom Eggman's robots with her hammer. Sticks is destroying Boom Eggman's robots with her boomerang. "Chaos Spear!" Modern Shadow yelled as fired multiple Chaos Spears destroying Boom Eggman's robots.
"You call that serious? I'll show you serious!" Modern Eggman yelled.
Modern Eggman is seen destroying Boom Eggman's robots with ease, using just his fists. Team Sonic were speechless to see Modern Eggman destroying Boom Eggman's robots. Boom Eggman got a bit nervous of his Modern counterpart.
Modern Eggman destroyed the rest of Boom Eggman's robot army. Modern Eggman picked one of the destroyed robots and spun in a circle.
"Get a load of this!" Modern Eggman yelled as he tossed the destroyed robot with such force at Boom Eggman's Egg Mobile, sending Boom Eggman flying.
"I never thought that this Eggman is way more scarier." Sticks said.
Modern Sonic said to Sticks. "In my dimension, a few years ago, me and my Tails witness our Eggman destroy a huge wall of ice with his fists.
"I got to say, Eggman, as much as you are a villain, I'm impressed on how you fight." Boom Amy said.
Modern Eggman replied to Boom Amy "You should be. As long as I can destroy your Eggman's robots, my hands are fine."
Modern Shadow thought "Oh, my Goodness. I am speechless. I never seen Eggman do anything like that."
Boom Sonic told the Modern team. "Hey, do you want to join us in some of our adventures?"
"Well, sure." Modern Tails said.
Boom Amy said to the Modern team. "By the way, we're on an island called Bygone Island. I'm pretty sure you'll love it here."
"Yeah, I think being here isn't as bad." Said Modern Sonic. "Let the adventures begin.
