Sonic and Eggman get Isekaied
Chapter 4: Eggman not-so alone
Where we last off, Drago Valley revolted against the Great Dragon, in the revolt led by Eggman, Jin was killed by the man in the robe, who as it turns out was named George Willingson, and Drago Valley was destroyed and Eggman was banished. The residents of Drago Valley had to relocate to the Lost City of Vanintall. Now Eggman finds himself out in the desert, what will he do now?
Eggman is wandering around the desert after being banished by Sonic. "Uhhh…" said Eggman exhausted, as he approached the nearby village Oasis Haven "what are you doing out here, traveler?" said a man, with a scar over his forehead and no hair "I don't know…" said Eggman dejected, walking into a bar "what can a get you, sir?" said a waitress "just some water…" said Eggman sitting down and looking out the window "it…wasn't my fault…" said Eggman having repeated flashbacks to the destruction of Drago Valley "no…please…!" said Eggman "are you okay?!?" said the waitress arriving with some water. "oh, I'm fine" said Eggman, grabbing the glass and chugging it "why don't you try to relax in the pool?" said the waitress "sure, why not" said Eggman walking to a pool of water in the next room over and sitting in the pool "*sigh*" said Eggman calming down a little, "hello, what is your name?" said a frog man, who had wrinkled green skin and a grey beard. "Eggman." said Eggman "I'm Ivan" said Ivan "why have you come here?" said Ivan "I don't know…" said Eggman "ah, come on, everyone comes out here for a reason, I come here for the cooling pools" said Ivan "well, I guess I've come for a way to redeem what I've done" said Eggman "and what would that be?" said Ivan "I went to this village, where they offered me nothing but kindness, and I took advantage of them, and now a lot of people are hurt and homeless" said Eggman "hmmm…" said Ivan "if you want to make up for what you've done, you need to first forgive yourself" said Ivan "but how? What I did was horrible" said Eggman "hmmm…perhaps seek out a wise man" said Ivan "a wise man?" said Eggman "yes, in fact, I heard that there's one on the top of Mount Nocturnal, just east of here at the desert's end" said Ivan "I will seek out a wise man! Thanks, Ivan!" said Eggman getting up "I always seek to help those who need guidance" said Ivan. "Thanks" said Eggman after getting some supplies and a camel-horse hybrid known as a sand skipper "no problem, just be on the lookout for the Dune Serpent" said the shopkeeper "the what?" said Eggman. "It's a giant snake like beast that hunts in the Shaton Wastes" said the shopkeeper "off, Fuku!" said Eggman signaling for Fuku to gallop toward Mount Nocturnal. A few hours later. "Okay, we're almost there, Fuku" said Eggman before the ground began shaking "what is that..?" said Eggman as a giant serpent burst out of the ground and nearly ate Fuku "oh, you want to play like that?!?" said Eggman digging through his bags for anything to fight this thing with and finding a spear "alright!" said Eggman riding on Fuku toward the Dune Serpent as it popped out of the ground "HYRAH!!!" said Eggman, throwing the spear at it's eye and missing "great!" said Eggman in frustration, continuing to dig through his bags and finding some bombs and threw in a pile and put some meat on it "wait for it…" said Eggman lighting a touch as the Dune Serpent approached "NOW!!!" said Eggman throwing the touch at the bombs, and they exploded, stunning the Dune Serpent "yes!" said Eggman grabbing a dagger and stabbing into the serpent as it got back up and began to chase Eggman as he dug through his bag and eventually just threw everything in the bag at the Serpent, one of these items was…the Dragon Slayer which was swallowed by the Serpent…and it stopped moving as it screeched in pain and collapsed. "Wait, why did it just die? Hang on…was this the bag that had the Dragon Slayer?!? So this thing is a dragon in a way…" said Eggman, as he saw Fuku run back to Oasis Haven "oh, great…" said Eggman.
Later, Eggman managed to reach the mountain, and began his climb, where he would encounter something dangerous…an owlbear. "What is that thing?!?" said Eggman digging through his bag and finding a dagger as the owlbear charges at him "take this!" said Eggman stabbing it in the face "*shriek*" roared the owlbear as it died "*sigh*" said Eggman about to walk off before he hears something "*whine*" said a baby owlbear approaching the carcass of the older owlbear "umm…hi…I'm so sorry about that, but, I did it in self-defense" said Eggman walking off "now to continue…" said Eggman "coo" said the baby owlbear following him "oh, great…" said Eggman "you. stay." said Eggman walking away, but the baby owlbear kept following him "leave me alone" said Eggman "coo?" said the baby owlbear "fine, you're coming with me, I'll call you…Owl-bert" said Eggman reluctantly "coo!" said Owl-bert in excitement. The two trekked up the mountain, avoiding predators and other such creatures. "We're almost there" said Eggman "not so fast!" said a hobgoblin with a giant war hammer "I am Loctin, and I have come to stop you!" said Loctin "huh, why?" said Eggman exhausted "because you are one of the Chosen Three destined to destroy my master!" said Loctin "Chosen Three? What are you talking about?" said Eggman "no more talking!" said Loctin leaping to attack Eggman as he went to protect Owl-bert…and Loctin was knocked away by a tongue "huh?" said Eggman "what the?!?" said Loctin "hello again" said Evan "what are you doing here?!?" said Eggman "I'll explain later" said Evan dodging Loctin's attacks until Loctin got tired and Evan kicked him down the mountain "so, why are you here?" said Eggman "isn't it obvious? I am the wiseman" said Evan "so, why did you make me come up here?" said Eggman "to test you, to test your courage, willpower, and your heart" said Evan "heart?" said Eggman "well, you didn't need to save that one" said Evan pointing toward Owl-bert "oh, this thing? It just followed me" said Eggman "you didn't have to protect it" said Evan "I guess you're right" said Eggman petting Owl-bert "you said you want to redeem yourself?" said Evan "yeah" said Eggman "I will help you" said Evan "thank you" said Eggman.
