"Report." He nodded, "We have to confirm that 45 Mobians that went missing are being held captive by Robotnik." Sally thinks of where would Eggman's hideout, "Where's Bunnie Rabbot?" "She's at the Hill Top." Sally nodded, "Hopefully, she can help those three. Keep on finding Robotnik's hideout. I need to find more information." "Yes, ma'am."

He quickly left, and Sally looked at the sky, "I wonder how they're doing?"

West Side Island, Hill Top

Tails sit down after flying so high, "I di-didn't think this would be this h-high." "Neither did I." Sonic and Sticks looked at the horizon, "I'm guessing you're the recruits?" They turned to see a female rabbit Mobian looking at them, "You are?"

"I'm Bunnie Rabbot, member of Freedom Fighters." She jumped down from the cliff, "It's nice to meet you." "Yeah." She and Sticks shake hands, but Stick notices Bunnie's right hand, "Wow, a robot arm?" "Yeah, ever since I lost my right hand and my legs, I always used these for protecting people and loved ones."

Tails nodded, "How did you lose them?" Bunnie was silent for the answer, "It's all right. You don't have to answer that if that's too personal." Bunnie smiled, "I appreciated it, fellas."

"Eggman got one Chaos Emerald. We need to get that remaining one before he gets it." Bunnie loses her guard after hearing it, "I... see, how many do you guys have?" They showed her five Chaos Emeralds, "Nicely job, so how do we get the last one?"

Sticks looked around, "There is a Giant Ring that's hidden here." Tails used his goggles and scanned the area, "Wait, you made them?" "Yeah, I made it at the shop." Bunnie was impressed by the invention Tails created.

Tails still scanned and found the reading, "Got it. It's by that cave." Tails pointed the direction, "Well then, let's get going." Sonic quickly jumped and ran in the direction Tails said, "Wow, he's fast." "Let's catch up with him." Tails fly, trying to catch up with him. While Bunnie and Sticks jumped around, trying to scale the mountain by jumping.

Sonic grabbed onto the handle of the zipline and slid down, "Seems like he's having fun." Sticks saw Sonic doing it, "Jealous~?" Bunnie teasing Sticks, "No! I'm not!" And Sticks quickly jump to where Sonic is.

Sonic and Tails landed, arriving at their destination, "The Giant Ring should be right behind that wall." Tails pointed in front of him, "Let me do it." Bunnie gets ready and breaks the wall with her right hand, "Nice one, Bunnie." Bunnie smiled.

"Let's go." They nodded and immediately jumped.

Special Zone

They landed and saw the Purple Chaos Emerald with a drawing of thunder, "Last one is a Slowpoke!" Sticks and Sonic quickly left, "W-Wait up!" "Hehehe." Bunnie and Tails tried to catch up with them.

Sonic wall jumping, avoiding the obstacles that tried to stop him. With Sticks, she ran on a rail. She tried to get to the emerald first. Tails speed up his flight, fastening himself. And Bunnie jumped around with the shortcuts.

Sticks climbed up, nearly reaching the emerald, "I got it!" But Sonic quickly catches it first, "Aw, come on!" Sonic sweatdrop by Sticks' jealous, "I had to admit it, sugah-hog. You're not bad." Sonic was embarrassed for hearing that, "T-Thanks."

Tails and Sticks chuckled for Sonic's embarrassment, "We should head back." "You're right." They quickly head back by jumping into the Giant Ring.

West Side Island, Hill Top

After jumping through it, they landed different location, "We need to keep moving." They nodded and quickly moved forward.

While running, they heard a scream, "What was that?" They heard it again, like calling for help, "Quick, let's head over there!" "Yeah." They quickly ran to the sound.

"S-Stay away!" A fox Mobian tried to run away from the Badnik but got surrounded, "No!" Suddenly, Sonic crushed them before they managed to reach him, "You all right?" Tails asked the Mobian, "I-I'm fine, you gotta help me!" "What's wrong?" He pointed to the mountain, "On the other side of that mountain, the others held captive there."

They didn't like the sound of that, "Don't worry, we'll rescue them." He nodded, "Someone needs to get him to medical attention first." "I'll call Sally."

Sonic called Sally, explaining the situation, "I got it. I'll send one of the members to pick him up." Sonic nodded and turned off the call, "We need to head over there quickly." "But someone needs to watch over him." They saw that he's now leaning back, still injured, "I'll keep an eye on him." Bunnie volunteers, "You guys have to scramble him after all." Sonic smiled, "All right, good luck."

They quickly left, leaving Bunnie with the fox Mobian.

Sonic, Tails, and Sticks continue running until the ground begins shaking, "An earthquake?!" Sonic asked, "But earthquake can't happen since this island is above the sky." They saw the ground is erupting, "Run!" They quickly run away from the eruption.

They jumped, barely dodging the magma, "How did the magma erupt here?" "That, my friend, I can answer." They saw Eggman in his aircraft, "You see this hill originally a volcano." "Then the magma that erupts-" Eggman smiled, "All by me!"

They prepared to fight, "Bring it, Eggman!" "My pleasure." He shoots fire from his gun on the top, and they barely dodge it, "Heeeyaaah!" Sticks throw her boomerang at it, damaging the fuel, "Hey, stop that!" Sonic and Tails knows the weakness and quickly charge towards it.

"I don't think so." He commands his Badniks to erupt more magma, "Sonic!" Tails grabbed Sonic's left hand, "Go!" He throws him, giving Sonic enough time to Spin Dash it.

Sonic Spin Dash the fuel, causing an explosion to the aircraft, "This won't be the last time you see me!" He quickly escapes the scene, "After him!" They nodded and chased Eggman.

In the distance, Bunnie saw the aftermath of the eruption while carrying the fox Mobian, "Eggman needs to be careful, or else the island will be burning instead." She saw the magma pouring through the mountains and the caves.

A/N: I don't know how did Eggman didn't erupt the mountain after forcing out the magma. Hey, I'm not a scientist so who am I to argue.
